Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of investors among students in managing finances, namely by investing in Islamic stock investments. This study aims to find out how the fundamental strategy is carried out by students at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The research method used is qualitative research using interviews, observation and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of this study are that there are several fundamental techniques used in trading Islamic stocks, namely by looking at news related to the development and performance of the company, the company's financial statements, the use of SOTS and RTI Business applications. The conclusion in this study is that in using fundamental analysis, students will use different strategies and are tailored to their respective investment goals.

Abstract

Baitul Mall Wa Tamwil (BMT) is a micro-level financial institution that operates as an intermediary for Muslim communities in particular and society in general for business sustainability and welfare. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that cause problematic financing at BMT in Tasikmalaya City using the Maqodid Syariah Index (MSI) method. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive concept where researchers go to the field by making observations, interviews involving seven BMT leaders in Tasikmalaya City. The approach method used is the Maqosid Syariah Index (MSI) which measures in terms of Tahzib Al Fardi, Iqamah Al Adalah, Jalb Al Maslahah. The results of this study indicate that BMT has difficulty in meeting its liquidity. There are two factors that cause problematic financing, namely internal factors including negligence of the financing examiner, the existence of a fraud attitude of employees, misappropriation of funds by the management, not using collateral, weaknesses in inspection and others. Meanwhile, external factors are customer defaults, lack of guidance and customer assistance, unwillingness to pay, bad business, fictitious domicile, the covid-19 epidemic which causes congestion in business. Even so, the BMT still considers the need for maqosid Sharia in running its business.

Abstract

Educational institutions in Indonesia consist of various types, one of which is Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools are the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The majority of Muslims in Indonesia have established many Islamic boarding schools in this country. The current role of Islamic boarding schools is not only as educational institutions, but also as institutions that can increase economic value through programs contained in Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the role of the Ma'had Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school in improving the economy of the surrounding community. This research was conducted at al-Zaytun Islamic Boarding School. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data sources were obtained from interviews, observations, and literature studies related to the research topic. The results of this study found that in addition to being an Islamic educational institution, the Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school also has considerable resources, so that with these resources the Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school can carry out various activities, one of which has economic centers both in agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery and cooperatives that can help improve the economy of the Al-Zaytun community and the surrounding community, such as providing loans and capital from the Ma'had Al-Zaytun Islamic boarding school cooperative; P3KPI provides land and capital for those who want to farm with a profit sharing system from the harvests obtained; Providing employment for the surrounding community, especially to manage Ma'had Al-Zaytun's agriculture and plantations; and distribution of harakah zakat and harakah Qurban to the community around the Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Banking is one of the Islamic financial instruments that plays an important role in developing the people's economy through various types of financing based on sharia principles. Murabaha and musyarakah financing are types of financing in Islamic banks which are a favorite among the public. The author wants to reveal how big the contribution made by the two financing is to the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to determine the significant effect of murabaha and musyarakah financing, both partially and simultaneously on the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia in the 2019-2021 period. The methodology used is a descriptive quantitative approach with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques where the data is oriented to secondary data which will then be processed with SPSS 25 software. The results of this study found that: the significance level test was 0.000 and the ttest result was 4.450. So the significance level is 0.000 <0.05 and the tcount > ttable (4.450 > 2.035) means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results of the multiple linear regression test show a number of 0.228 (positive value) for the Murabahah variable so that it can be said that Murabahah financing is positively related to profitability, the test results at a significance level of 0.000 and the t-test results are 4.568. Then the significance level is 0.000 <0.05 and the tcount > ttable (4.568 > 2.035) means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected and the results of the multiple linear regression test show the number 0.228 (positive value) for the Murabahah variable so that it can be said that Murabahah financing is positively related with profitability. The results of the significance level test were 0.000 and the t-count test results were 10.591. So the significance level is 0.000 <0.05 and the tcount > ttable (10.591 > 3.275) means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This states that murabaha and musyarakah financing have a significant effect on profitability.

Abstract

The potential for the development of Islamic banks in Sidoarjo Regency is very large because there are 18 sub-districts with a majority of Muslim populations, one of which is Sukodono. However, the amount of potential is not in line with the growth of Islamic banking. This is due to the low perception of Muslims towards Islamic banking, which is due to the lack of knowledge about the Islamic banking system which ultimately has an impact on the low interest in becoming Islamic banking customers. The purpose of this study is to determine and test the influence of public perception and knowledge on interest in becoming Islamic bank customers. This study used quantitative methods by giving questionnaires to 103 people in Sukodono District. The results of the study were processed using SPSS software version 22 which showed that perception directly affects interest in becoming Islamic bank customers with significance value (0.00 < 0.05), public knowledge directly affects interest in becoming Islamic bank customers with significance value (0.00 < 0.05) and public perception and knowledge simultaneously affect interest in becoming Islamic bank customers with significance value (0.00 < 0.05). Thus, it can be interpreted that the influence of public perception and knowledge on interest in becoming Islamic bank customers is 69,9% while the remaining 31,1% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The distribution of financing is provided by the bank to anyone who needs it, both for individuals and the business world, by taking into account two principles, namely trust and prudence (prudent banking principle). The bank will ask for guarantees in order to ensure the ability and ability of its customers to pay off debts according to the agreed contract. In operation, the requirement to provide this guarantee is to ensure that the mudharib does not make any deviations in managing the funds provided by the bank. The purpose of this study was to find out the procedures and requirements for mudharabah financing at the Indonesian Sharia Bank KCP Ujung Berung1. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study are that the procedures and requirements for mudharabah financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Ujung Berung1 comply with the provisions of fatwa 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000 concerning Mudharabah Financing, and OJK standards regarding mudharabah financing. Mudharabah financing requirements with the flow of inspection as follows: a) The business feasibility of the customer is in accordance with BSI provisions; b) Mudharabah financing will be processed if the account officer and Branch Manager meet the requirements, and contact the prospective mudharib to determine when to review the business location and collateral location; c) The account officer prepares a financing analysis report, visit data, collateral review results; d) Analysis of mudharabah financing carried out according to procedures using the "5C" principle; e) The decision on the application for financing is given after the submission of the application for financing is deemed feasible to be financed'; f) Mudharabah Financing Agreement, g) Disbursement of Mudharabah Financing is carried out after the contract process is completed, either with the mudharib or with other parties, namely Notaries and insurance parties; h) Supervision in the management of financing from the provision of financing to repayment by the customer. i) Return of Mudharabah Financing

Abstract

Understanding of financial literacy needs to be constantly improved in order to create opportunities for financial transactions in the banking world. Financial literacy education for the community plays an important role in banking because financial literacy will help the community in good financial management to avoid financial problems. Corona Virus 19 has an impact on the banking sector due to restrictions. The aim is to determine the effect of financial literacy on people's interest in using banking products. The population of this research is PT. Deposits at BPR Araya Arta for the last two years. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 100 respondents taken by purposive sampling. The analytical tool used is simple linear analysis with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between financial literacy and interest in PT. BPR Araya Arta is 31.7%, which means that financial literacy will have an impact on the use of products and services or transactions in financial institutions.

Abstract

Islamic non-bank financial institutions in Indonesia include Islamic insurance, Islamic cooperatives, Islamic capital markets and so on. Along with the times, the presence of non-bank financial institutions is starting to be favored by the public and in its implementation it must comply with sharia principles. The purpose of this study is to find out and understand how the Murabahah Contract is for Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue and how the DSN-MUI Fatwa review regarding the implementation of the Murabahah Agreement for Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue. This research method uses a combination method (mix method) with a concurrent triangulation design. The data was obtained by means of interviews, observations and in-depth questionnaires/questionsnaires to customers and members of BMT Cahaya Virtue, Bekasi City, in 2022, totaling 47 respondents and 10 informants. The results showed that the implementation of the Murabahah Contract on Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue has been going well, but there are some discrepancies from the aspect of the customer's intention to purchase goods. Based on the research results, there are several customers who apply for murabahah financing not to buy goods but for other needs such as home renovations, paying for education fees and for non-purchasing purposes. In terms of the DSN-MUI Fatwa Review regarding the implementation of Murabahah Contracts on Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the Implementation of Murabahah Contracts on Financing Products at BMT Cahaya Virtue is very good.

Abstract

Sharia People's Business Credit is a regulatory program from the government specifically aimed at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as a source of capital. This study aims to determine the welfare of the Fansuri Farm aquaculture business on the use of Sharia People's Business Credit in terms of indicators of income level, expenditure level, education level, health level, living conditions and facilities. This research method is qualitative, with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques using interview and observation methods. The results of the study can be concluded that Fansuri Farm feels a significant impact on the use of Sharia People's Business Credit financing where increased welfare and business development can be seen from the increase in the number of ponds and fish capacity. The advantage of Fansuri Farm fish farming is that it already has a wide market share, while the obstacles are declining fish prices and slowly rising fish feed prices.

Abstract

The research background examines the extent to which the domestic halal industrial ecosystem can dominate the domestic and global markets. Halal industrial estates must be able to support the needs for sources of raw materials and production that are halal certified, one of which is the Indonesian Packaging Company Toppan Printing. The aim of this research is to find out the elements and substances used in the manufacture of packaging used by PT. Indonesia Toppan Printing. This is done, among others, to realize the development of Halal Industrial Zones (KIH) in various regions of Indonesia, especially in West Java Province. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation through the official website, scientific papers and literature. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study can be concluded that the halal certification of plastic and paper packaging used for food, beverages, medicines, and toiletries (soap, toothpaste, shampoo, detergent, floor deodorizer, and clothes fragrance) produced by PT. ITP is part of the obligation for products that must be halal certified in accordance with Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Guarantees for Halal Products, Government Regulation (PP) Number 31 of 2019 and Minister of Religion Regulation (PMA) Number 26 of 2019, as well as the latest regulations based on Law Number 39 of 2021, especially Article 14 where the clause states that "Place and Equipment for Processing Halal Product Packaging" is the object of study for halal certification, namely the packaging of company product packaging that becomes the halal industrial market brand for its consumers.
