Abstract

This research was motivated by the process along with the grated coconut development times are also becoming more sophisticated. The emergence of various kinds of machines with a variety of different brands and types help people to do the grater which only requires a relatively short time. Abstract

This study aims to determine the levels of electrolytes chloride (CI) in patients with hypertension. This type of research is observational laboratory with descriptive approach is to determine the examination results electrolyte levels of chloride (CI) in hypertensive patients with a master's touch screen using a photometer Cyanat Thio method. Thio Cyanat method is a method of examination where the intensity of color formed in accordance with chloride concentrations determined photometer so that the results can be relied upon. Rated normal chloride levels in units of mEq/L for adults is 95-105 mEq / L while normal values chioride levels in units of mmol /L is 97-111 mmol/ L. Based on research conducted at the Laboratory D-IlI Health Analyst University of Indonesia Eastern Tterhadap 5 sample of hypertensive adults, the results obtained by the A 108 mmol/ L, B. 94 mmol /L, C: 87 mmol / L, D: 86 mmol /L, E: 93 mmol /L, the percentage of chloride electrolyte levels (CF) which is normal as much as 1 sample (20%), and electrolyte levels of chloride (CI) below normal by 4 samples (80%)

Abstract

A research on the analysis of the levels of potassium in plantain (Musa paradisiacal) and banana (Musa acuminata linn) for the purpose of determining the levels of potassium in plantain and banana which originated from the district Pinrang, the benefits of research as information for the public about the importance the role of potassium in the body. This is a descriptive study using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) at a wavelength of 766.5 nm. From the results of aboratory analysis potass um levels each each sample P.raja1 = 121.27 mg / g. P raja2 = 131.03 mg / g, P.raja3 126.27 mg / g, P.barangan1105.39 ug /g P barangan2 104.87 mg/ g, P.barangan3 = 107.09 mg/g Plantains have higher levels of potassium than banana, while the general standard of potassium in bananas is 358 ug / g It is recommended to consumers to consume a banana as one type of fruit that contain potassium to meet the needs of potassium per day

Abstract

Water Recharging is one of the new altenative, cheaper and more practical for the community, to meet the drinking water needs. However Drinking Water Quality Recharging can cause health problems relating to the quality parameters of physical, chemical, biological and radioactive. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of drinking water Recharging based processing, parameter temperature Substances, Smell, Taste, iron, pH, and MPN Coli. This study uses descriptive and observational approach sampling method is total sampling with a sample size 6 samples. The results showed that the treatment process AMIU, temperature parameters 27.0 to 29.1, Keruhan 0.0 to 18 NTU, Colour all TCU 0, Total Dissolved Substance 20-300 mg/L, smell all odorless, tasteless Rasa all, a pH of 7.50 to 8.11 mg / L, Iron all O mg/L for all depot qualify. Abstract

A research about the effect of yeast extract addition on the antibacterial activity of endophytic fungi Paecilomyces genus from cacao pod husk (Theobroma cacao L.) has been conducted. The purpose of this research vas to know the effect of adding yeast extract on the antibacterial activity produced by endophytic fungi of cacao pod husk. Isolate of endophytic fungi fermented in Potato Dextrose Broth (PDB) medium with the addition of yeast extract 0.25% w/v, 0.5% w/v , 1 % w/v, 2% w/v, on a rotary shaker at 150 rpm for 7 days and then centrifuged at 3000 rpm for 15 minutes. The antibacterial activity of supematant was determined by measuring the growth inhibition of pathogenic bacteria Streptococcus mutans with agar diffusion method using paper disc for 24 hours incubation. The inhibition zone of negative control and sample with the addition of yeast extract 0.25% w/v, 0.5% w/v , 1% w/v 2% w/v to S mutans were 7.2 mm, 7.3 mm. 7.7 mm, 8.0 mm, and 8.4 mm respectively. These results indicated that yeast extract addition 1% w/v and 2% w/v have the most significantly influence toward antibacterial activity effect of endophytic fungi Paecilomyces genus.

Abstract

Fungi are unicellular or multicellular organisms, which do not have chlorophyll so heterotrophic. Mushrooms can be easily grown in a moist, mold will grow more fertile again if cleanliness less intact. This situation often occurs in a collection of clothes used clothing imports are sold in the market. Wear old clothes or clothes that had been used by others, is very vulnerable to contracting skin diseases, particularly skin diseases caused by fungi. This study aims to identify the type of fungus anything contained in used clothing sold in markets Toddopuli Makassar, this kind of research is observational laboratory that is descriptive with a sample size of 10 (ten), a sampling technique that accidental sampling, the study was conducted in GG clinical laboratories. The results showed that of the 10 swab (swab) of used clothing sold in the market Toddopuli Makassar, found mildew on all the used clothing 100% with Aspergillus niger as much as 7 samples (70% ) and Aspergillus fumigatus as much as 3 samples (30%). The conclusion of this study is all samples are found fungi. To consumers to be cautious in buying and wearing second-hand clothes are bought and sold everywhere.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of bacteria isolated in colorectal tissues and to investigate the KRAS gene mutation in patients with colorectal cancer. The study design was analytical Cross Sectional. The number of samples used 20 stool, 34 tissues in addition to CRC, 42 CRC tissues, 16 normal tissues other than CRC rinsing, rinsing 17 CRC tissues. The method used is cultur. Rapid TMST Test Panel and PCR. Based on the results of research that has been done can be concluded that the highest prevalence of the bacteria present in the colon tumor tissues than normal colon tissues, there are E. coli, K. pneumonia, K aerogenes, P. vulgaris, E aglumerans, Prov. Stuarti, A. faecalis, P. aerogenes, S. epidermidis, S. intermedius, E. faecalis, Staph. Aureus, Staph. Epidermidis dan S. tiphy. Although statistically the influence of bacteria are not significant to the development of colorectal cancer that showed the value of chi square is p = 0,217

Abstract

Bacteria are single-celled microorganisms, have strong walls and a fixed shape. The bacteria Escherichia coli is a bacteria commonly found in the opportunistic human colon as normal flora that can menyebapkan infection in the gut eg diarrhea and also its ability to cause infection in the tissue. Staphylococcus aureus can be found on the surface of the skin as normal flora, especially around the nose, mouth, genitals and around the anus and can cause wound infections usually abscess is a collection of pus or fluid in the tissue due to infection The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence the growth of bacteria Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus in the juice of the leaves ceremai (Phyllanthus acidus L) at a concentration of 100%, 80%, 60 % , 40% and 20% The method used in this study are Merode experiments conducted experiments on concentration in the water feeling ceremai leaf (Phyllanthus acidus (L) on the growth Eschrichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus in vitro. The results showed that the leaf juice ceremai not inhibit the growth of bacteria Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus in the juice of the leaves ceremai (Phyllanthus acidus L) at a concentration of 100 %, 80%, 60% 40% and 20 % . Based on these stucies are expected to communities that no longer consume freshly ceremai leaves, because water leaves feeling ceremai not to inhibit the growth of bacteria Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.

Abstract

Formalin is a chemical additive that is efficient, but banned from use in food (foods). But in practice, many manufacturers are using formalin in food, one of which anchovies. Anchovies containing formalin aims to maintain the freshness of the product is preserved so that could last long and quickly decay. Formalin can cause cancer if consumed in high doses. Therefore, efforts to reduce the levels of formaldehyde from food such as salted fish so it is relatively safe umtuk consumed The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the concentration of salt water immersion on levels of formaldehyde in salted fish. This type of research is experimental. The samples used are anchovies marinated snapper formalin by means of the examination conducted by the 3 treatments. From the results of quantitative research conducted at the Center for Health Laboratory Makassar in 2015 found decreased levels of fomaldehyde in salted fish snapper marinated with salt water for 60 minutes with a concentration of soaking 0% or a control that is, the concentration of 30% ie, and 50% are. It can be concluded that there are significant concentrations of salt water immersion on levels of formaldehyde in salted fish.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Analisis Kadar Asam Lemak Bebas Pada Mentega Yang Tidak Bermerek Yang Diperjualbelikan Di Pasar Hartaco Makassar dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui kadar asam lemak bebas pada mentega yang tidak bermerek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan sampel lima mentega yang tidak bermerek yang diambil secara accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian kadar asam lemak bebas pada mentega yang tidak bermerek yang diperjual belikan dipasar hartaco makassar, mengasilkan rata-rata kadar asam lemak bebas yaitu sampel A 0,256 mmol/L, B : 0,768 mmol/L, C: 1,536 mmol/, D : 0,256 mmol/L, E: 0,512 mmol/L. Diharapkan kepada pengguna atau pengkonsumsi mentega yang tidak bermerek agar memperhatikan jenis mentega yang akan digunakan.
