This research is motivated by students who have unstable emotions and emotions that are exaggerated and incorrect. The purpose of this study is to describe the emotional regulation of male students, describe the emotional regulation of female students, and test whether there are differences in the emotional regulation of male and female students. This research is descriptive and comparative in nature, with 118 VII grade VII and VIII grades of SMPN 4 Padang research. The research instrument used is the Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and t-test with SPSS version 20 support. The research findings showed that (1) male students had emotional regulation in the medium category (2) female students had emotional regulation in the low category (3 ) there are differences in the emotional regulation of male and female students

Vocational high School is a form of secondary education that organizes educational programs that are oriented towards the development of skills in accordance with the vocational field of students. Found, in the field of many students who are interested in continuing education to vocational high school rather than high school, students want to proceed to SMK because they want to work fast and most practice rather than with theory. There are also students who have a perception that vocational graduates can not continue to the college. Interest is a sense of love and interest in something or activity, with no one to tell. One factor that affects interest is the socio-economic status. This research is a correlational descriptive type study with quantitative methods. Sample quantities of 219 students were selected using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The research instruments used are the social status questionnaire and the student interest questionnaire. The results revealed that (1) the social economic status of students of SMP N 22 Padang is in the low category (2) the interest of students are in the category of interested (3) there is a significant negative relationship between socio-economic status with the interest of students At SMP N 22 Padang. Based on research findings, it is advisable to the school teacher BK/counsellor to provide guidance and counseling services, which are orientation services, information services, placement and distribution services, individual counselling services and Group guidance in order to help students who have problems in their advanced school selection and the economic status of their parents.

This study aims to: (1) Describe student academic procrastination, (2) Describe student self control, and (3) Test the relationship of self control and academic procrastination in completing thesis. The research subjects were 120 students, using instruments with Likert scale models. The percentage analysis technique and to test the relationship of the data were analyzed using the Pearson Correlation Product Moment statistical formula with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 20.0 program. The results of the study revealed that: (1) the level of academic procrastination in completing the thesis was classified as moderate, (2) the level of student self control in completing the thesis was classified as moderate, and (3) there was a significant positive relationship between self control and academic procrastination in completing the thesis with significance level 0,000, r count 0.566, and r table 0.178.

Based on the phenomenon of foster children who have been fostered at the orphanage is not yet economically independent and still dependent on others. They are confused about what to do after graduating from the institution which causes them to lack the courage to develop their own business with skills that have been taught at the orphanage. Increased self confidence of orphans in entrepreneurship is needed as a provision to meet life in the future. Increased confidence in the orphanage can be improved in a variety of ways, one of which is through the services in guidance and counseling, namely group guidance services. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in self-confidence of orphanage children in entrepreneurship in the experimental group pretest andposttestfollowing group guidance services with the control group pretestandposttestwithout following group guidance services.This research was conducted at the Aisyiyah Orphanage in Nanggalo Padang Branch, with 20 research subjects. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of research with the non-equivalent control group design. To test the differences in self-confidence of orphanage children in pretest and posttest entrepreneurship were treated, data analysis was performed using the t-test assistance program SPSS version 20.00.The research findings show that there is a significant difference in the self confidence of orphanage children in the pretest and posttest experimental group entrepreneurs following group guidance services. There was no significant difference in self confidence of orphanage children in the pretest and posttest control group entrepreneurship without attending group guidance services. There was a significant difference in the self confidence of orphanage children in the pretest and posttest experimental group entrepreneurship following the group guidance service with the control group without following the group guidance service.

Kebahagiaan dimasa usia lanjut tergantung dipenuhi tidaknya tiga A kebahagiaan (Tree A’s of Happiness), yaitu acceptance (penerimaan), affection (pengasihan) dan achievement (penghasilan). Apabila seseorang tidak dapat memenuhi ketiga A tersebut, maka dapat dikatakan seorang lanjut usia sulit untuk bisa hidup bahagia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat kebahagiaan lanjut usia dalam menjalani masa pensiun.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah Bapak/Ibu Lansia yang berjumlah 37 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah skala model likert. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: kebahagiaan lanjut usia dalam menjalani masa pensiun berada pada kategori baik. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, diharapkan konselor dapat memberikan bantuan profesional berupa layanan informasi, layanan penguasaan konten, layanan bimbingan kelompok dan layanan konseling kelompok yang dapat membantu lansia untuk meraih kebahagiaan pada masa pensiun.

Premarital sexual behavior done teenagers was very alarming and widespread the talk in various media such as radio, television, newspapers, and media Online others. At this time there have been changes in the views and sexual behavior of the community. Among teenagers today, there are students who consider some of the sexual behaviors such as holding hands and hugging, which are common things and the behavior of holding hands and hugging is often seen in general. This study aims to describe students' perceptions of premarital sexual behavior in various forms. This study uses a descriptive approach with quantitative methods. The population of this study was SMA N I Kubung high school students. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data obtained was analyzed using percentage techniques through the Microsoft Office Excel program.The results of the study revealed that students' perceptions of premarital sexual behavior among adolescents in general tend to be classified as poor with a percentage of 48.89%. This study has limitations in collecting data, content or variables included in the category are sensitive enough to be discussed.

Student’s adaptation can be meant as a step of the developmen of teenagers and or pre-puberty in understandingand capable of living or socializing normality, so to get the harmony on themselues and in their environment. The factors which influence the adjustment of the students to pre puberty are. 1) the development of a) body size b) body portion and 2) psychology changing as 1) emotion b) teenagers behaviour on pre puberty. this research uses quentitative descriptive method. the populations of the research are all students of class VII, VIII, and IX junior high scool UNP laboratorium development as many as 397 student. the sampel technique is taken by simple random sampling as many as 139 student. the data instrument used are questions and analysis data used descriptive method. the result of the research reveals the whole adaptation of the student’s to pre puberty of the students is, considered fairly good. in details are (1) students' adjustment to pre puberty about physical, (2) students' adjustment to pre puberty about psychological changes are both quite good.

This study aims to describe the level of assertiveness of students cared for by single parent mothers before and after being given group guidance services. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach type The One-Group Post-Test Design Pre-Test. The research subjects were students who were cared for by single parent mothers at SMK Negeri 9 Padang totaling 10 people. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test formula. The research findings revealed that the assertiveness of students cared for by single parent mothers before being given group guidance was in the moderate category with a percentage of 72.16% and after being given group guidance services the results of the posttest were in the moderate category with a percentage of 89.8%. This revealed that there were differences in the level of student assertiveness before and after being given group guidance services. With the findings of these studies BK teachers can continue to improve and develop guidance and counseling services, especially group guidance services to help improve the assertiveness of other students.

The readiness of a person in living a married life is one of the important things to form a happy family. The level of readiness of an individual to get married is influenced by several factors, one of the factors that plays an important role is social support. The problem to be examined in this study is to find a relationship between family social support and marriage readiness.This type of research is a quantitative descriptive correlational method with a descriptive correlational method to find the relationship between family social support and marriage readiness. This research was conducted in the East PariamanSubdistrict of Pariaman City with the number of research subjects were 30 early adult women who were about to get married. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire.The results showed that the family's social support was in the very high category and the readiness to get married in the early adult women was also in the very high category. Based on the results of the data that has been processed there is a significant relationship with a positive direction between family social support and marriage readiness. It can be concluded that family social support has a positive impact on marriage readiness in early adult women in Pariaman sub-district, Pariaman City.

Motivation to learn is a strong impulse in students that raises activities for learning, guarantees the continuity of learning activities, one of the factors that influence students 'learning motivation is parents' socio-economic status. this research aims to : (1) learning motivation of students in schools with the condition of the upper and middle class socioeconomic status, (2) learning motivation of students in schools whose parents' social status is up and down, (3) learning motivation of students in schools with a condition of middle-class parents with lower social status, (4) identify differences in student learning motivation based on parental socio-economic status and its implications in guidance and counseling.This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive comparative method. The population of this study was as many as 800 students of Banuhampu Middle School 01 District. Agam and a sample of 187 students were selected by proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire form of Likert scale. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and test different techniques (analysis of variance) with SPSS for Windows version 20.00.The findings showed that: (1) The students' motivation social status on the high category, (2) The students 'motivation medium social status in the high category, (3) the social status of students' motivation under the category of being, and (4) there is a significant difference between students' motivation social status upper, middle and lower.
