Abstract

Interests following individual counseling is a desire to attend individual counseling when experiencing problems in order to alleviate the problem. Reality in schools, during the school year 2018/2019 there were only 30 students who follow individual counseling of the overall number of students 602 people, including three students for counsel of their own accord while 27 other students for counsel being summoned by the BK teachers or students were handed over by homeroom or subject teachers / teachers picket. The purpose of this study is to describe the interest of students follow individual counseling services of aspects 1) attention, 2) interest, 3) the desire, 4) belief, and 5) action. This research is quantitative research with descriptive approach. The population of this research are students of class X and XI SMA N 8 Padang, amounting to 602 people. The sampling technique was conducted by using proportional random sampling. The research sample consists of 240 people. This study was conducted by administering research instruments scale model Likert. Data analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques. The research findings indicate 1) the students have a high attention to individual counseling, (2) students interested enough to attend individual counseling, (3) students quite willing to participate in individual counseling, (4) students have confidence high for individual counseling, and (5) the students are quite active in participation involved to follow individual counseling. Based on the findings of this study concluded that students in SMA N 8 Padang quite interested to attend individual counseling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya self-efficacy siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan gambaran self-efficacy siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah berdasarkan aspek level (tingkat kesulitan tugas) self-efficacy siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah, (2) mendeskripsikan gambaran self-efficacy siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah berdasarkan aspek generality (penguasaan terhadap materi), (3) mendeskripsikan gambaran self-efficacy siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah berdasarkan aspek strenght (kekuatan untuk menyelesaikan tugas). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 273 orang siswa dengan sampel penelitian 176 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel “Simple Random Sampling”. Alat pengumpul data dengan mengunakan instrumen angket dengan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan secara umum, siswa memiliki tingkat self-efficacy yang sedang dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah. Secara khusus (1) berdasarkan aspek level siswa memiliki self-efficacy yang rendah, (2) berdasarkan aspek generality siswa memiliki self-efficacy yang sedang, (3) berdasarkan aspek strength siswa memiliki self-efficacy yang  sedang.

Abstract

Motivation is the need to develop one's abilities optimally, so that they can do better, excel and be creative. Ideally students are more independent in learning, strong learning will. In fact many students are still lazy in learning, have problems in learning such as getting unsatisfactory grades, and there are even students who do not have goals or ideals in themselves. This study aims to (1) describe Peer Conformity, (2) describe learning motivation, (3) test the significance of the relationship of Peer Conformity with learning motivation. This research is a descriptive correlational type of research with quantitative methods. The population of this research is Adabiah Padang High School students. The total sample of 219 students was selected using the Purposive Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was a peer conformity questionnaire and a learning motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment techniques with the help of the SPSS For Windows 20.0 program. The research findings show that (1) student peer conformity is in the high category, (2) learning motivation is in the high category, (3) there is a significant positive relationship between peer conformity with learning motivation with a correlation coefficient of -0,502 and a significant level of 0,000

Abstract

lesbi is a term for women who directs their sexual orientation choices to women who love and like women physically, sexually, emotionally and spiritually. Based on the experience of researchers when conducting fieldwork in 2018 based on the results of johari windows administration found female students who have a tendency to lesbi behavior. The decision to become lesbi must be accompanied by a history of travel to decide to become lesbi. This study aims to find out how historical research subjects decided to become lesbbi. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. The subjects in this study amounted to one person with the initials GNA. The research data was collected using the administration of windows johari, interview and observation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data exposure and conclusion drawing. Research findings show: (1) subjects are often treated unpleasantly by their fathers, (2) bad experiences from men in the past, perceptions of men who are negative, change their appearance to be masculine and behave like men, ( 3) subjects find their partners from role playing games, (4) the lack of education obtained from parents at home so the subject decides to become lesbi and (5) the researcher invites subjects to think rationally about their perceptions to men, resulting in the subject realizing that no all men are rude and hurt women. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the history of the subject of being a lesbi is motivated by the role of fathers who do not work properly.

Abstract

Utilization of study time is important for students. If students cannot use the time to study well this will have a negative impact on their learning outcomes. The reality in the field found that several students who were administrators of the Student Council had not used the time to study well. This is because students are more preoccupied with organizational activities. This study aims to describe the utilization of learning time by the OSIS management which includes 1) making a schedule and its implementation, 2) reading and making notes, 3) repeating the lesson material, 4) concentration and 5) working on the task.The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The research subject was the board of student council of SMAN 2 Padang in the 2018/2019 academic year, which was 38 people. The research data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques that use percentage techniques.The research findings revealed 1) the utilization of study time by the OSIS administrators in terms of making schedules and their implementation was in a fairly good category, 2) the utilization of study time by the student council administrators in terms of reading and taking notes in a fairly good category, 3) utilization of study time by administrators OSIS in terms of repeating the subject matter is in the fairly good category, 4) the utilization of study time by the OSIS administrators in terms of concentration is in a fairly good category and 5) the utilization of study time by the OSIS administrators in terms of doing assignments is in a fairly good category. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the utilization of study time by the Student Council administrators is in a fairly good category.

Abstract

Education carried out today faces many problems and obstacles, including the influence of increasingly rapid and advanced technology. The invention of information technology is developing on a mass scale. Technology has changed the shape of society, from the local world community to the global world community. In the task of adolescent development, the tendency of adolescents should be able to achieve emotional independence and socializing with peers and the opposite sex, but the reality on the ground there are still many teenagers who have not been able to achieve these developmental tasks. In the learning process many teenagers who feel unable to face the academic demands they find in the world of education and experience stress, most of them relieve stress by playing online games. It is hoped that in this study, students improve the management of academic stress that is still poor and understand the impact of playing online games. Counseling teachers are expected to be able to provide input for schools to develop a counseling program in developing steps to prevent the occurrence of academic stress experienced by students, as well as making preventive efforts to the intensity of students in playing online games. The next researcher is expected to study and research more about academic stress and the intensity of playing online games by taking different aspects, as well as a larger number of samples.This type of research is classified as correlational descriptive. The population of this study is the students of SMA PGRI 2 Padang in the academic year 2019/2020 with 180 students with a sample of 64 students. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used the Pearson Product Moment formula with the help of the Statistical Product and Service Solution for Windows version 20 program. The research findings show that (1) the level of academic stress of SMA PGRI 2 Padang students is in the medium category, (2) The level of intensity in playing online games of PGRI 2 Padang high school students is in the moderate category, (3) There is a significant relationship between academic stress and intensity play online games for high school students of PGRI 2 Padang with Pearson correlation 0.532 and a significant level of 0.000 with a fairly strong relationship level.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the number of students who consider lectures to be insignificant, leading to reduced learning motivation for students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between educational aspirations and student motivation in the Tarbiyah IAIN Kerinci Faculty. This research is a descriptive correlational research with quantitative methods. The population of this study was students of Islamic Biology and Counseling Guidance at Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Kerinci. The total sample of 42 students was selected using the Purposive Random Sampling technique. The research instruments used were educational aspiration questionnaires and student learning motivation questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment techniques with the help of the SPSS For Windows 20.0 program. The results revealed that (1) student education aspirations were in the high category (2) student learning motivation was in the high category, and (3) there was a positive significant relationship between educational aspirations and student learning motivation with a correlation coefficient of 0.691 at the 0,000 significance level , if 0,000 <0,05 then Ha is accepted.

Abstract

Students at school should be able to build good social relationships with others, because one of the tasks of student development is being able to one of them play a role in social life such as developing interpersonal communication both individuals and groups. One of the things that influences interpersonal communication is a stable self-image. But still found in the field of students who are awkward in communicating. This study aims to empirically examine the relationship of self-image with interpersonal communication in students of SMK N 9 Padang. This research is a descriptive correlational research with quantitative methods. Sampling in this study used stratidfied random sampling technique with a total sample of 295 students of SMK N 9 Padang. The research instrument used was a self-image questionnaire and an interpersonal communication questionnaire. The results revealed that the self-image of students at SMK N 9 Padang was mostly in the quite good category and interpersonal communication of students of SMK N 9 Padang was mostly in the quite good category. There is a significant relationship between self-image and students' interpersonal communication at SMK N 9 Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still low ability of students to adjust to school. Social interaction in the family is a factor that involves itself. This study aims to: (1) describe the social interactions of students in the family, (2) describe the conversations of students, (3) look for a significant relationship between family social interactions using students themselves. This study uses a quantitative method of descriptive correlational research. The study population was in class X students of SMA 7 Padang who tested 330 students. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, so that a sample of 192 students was obtained. The instrument used was a student social interaction questionnaire in the family and a questionnaire translated by students. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson product moment technique using the SPSS version 20.0 program. The results of the study describe: (1) the social interaction of students in the family is in the good category, with an average achievement of 60.42%, (2) the middle class students in the very high category with an average achievement of 68.23%, and (3 ) There is a significant relationship between students' social interactions in families with students of 0.153 depending on the high level with a significance level of 0.034. The size of the conversation is 0.153, which means that the social interaction of students in a family is good, so students choose high. Conversely, if the social interaction of students in the family is not good, the conversation about students tends to be low. Guidance and Counseling Teachers are expected to provide group guidance services and group counseling so students can communicate better.

Abstract

Adolescents are developing individuals who are looking for their identity. In the period of seeking identity, they will find various problems, which they can solve their own problems, not infrequently they cannot overcome their own problems so they are burdened and hamper their developmental tasks. One of the changes related to psychology in adolescents is that it is easy to react even aggressively to the interference or external stimulation that affects it. That is why there is an easy fight. Like to look for attention and act without thinking first. Aggressive behavior is one form of behavior whose purpose and intention is to intentionally harm others. One of the factors that causes adolescents to behave aggressively is the violence that exists in the media such as playing games that contain elements of violence. This study aims to determine the relationship between playing games that contain elements of violence and aggressive behavior of students in the Middle School of Padang State University Laboratory Development. The results of this study revealed that: (1) playing games containing elements of violence in terms of aspects of the type of game and the frequency of playing games are in the quite high category. This means that students are quite high in playing games that contain elements of violence. (2) students' aggressive behavior in terms of aspects of ggressiveness / physical aggression (verbal aggression), verbal aggression, anger, and hostility are in the category of very high. This means that some students behave aggressively towards others. (3) there is a positive relationship between playing games containing violent elements with aggressive behavior of students in SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP a correlation coefficient of 0.351, which means that the higher the level of playing games that contain elements of violence the higher the aggressive behavior of junior high school students, and vice versa the lower the level of playing games that contain elements of violence, the lower the aggressive behavior of middle school students
