Learning independence is a learning activity carried out by someone with their freedom to determine and process their own teaching materials, time, place, utilizing learning resources that are started. In fact, there are still students who are not independent in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the independence of students in terms of indicators: (1) personal autonomy, (2) self-management in learning, (3) achieving freedom to learn, and (4) directing oneself to organize material.This type of research is descriptive research. The population of the study was 738 students of SMP N 24 Padang with a sample of 259 students enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the percentage technique The research findings revealed that the learning independence of students at SMP Negeri 24 Padang Padang, namely (1) personal autonomy was in the independent category with 53% (2) self-management in learning was in the very independent category with 48% (3) achieving freedom for degrees is in the independent category with 56% and (4) directing themselves to organizing material is in the independent category with 62% organizing material classified as independent. Based on these findings, it is expected that the BK teacher helps students in increasing student independence by providing information services, content mastery services and group guidance services with materials related to student learning independence.

This research is based on a phenomenon that is still found by students who violate various rules and regulations in schools such as students who are not well-dressed, arrive late to school, absent without information and various other violations. This study aims to describe students' discipline towards school rules in terms of: (1) dressing, (2) timeliness, (3) social behavior, and (4) learning ethics. This type of research is descriptive. The research sample was 177 students at public Senior High School in Tanjung Mutiara, Agam Regency. The research findings revealed that students' discipline on aspects: (1) dressed as very high, (2) on aspects of timeliness classified as high, (3) on aspects of social behavior classified as high, and (4) on aspects of learning ethics classified as high.

This research is backed by the phenomenon of low self-concept students, such as lack of understanding and self-acceptance, lack of personal circumstances such as the advantages and disadvantages that exist on him, many students do not know the talent and interest The students ' inability to develop their own skills. One of the low causes of student self-concept is alleged due to parenting patterns. This research aims to test the relationship of foster parents with the concept of student self. This research is a correlational descriptive type study with quantitative methods. The samples in this study were as many as 138 students who had low learning achievements consisting of classes XI and XII. Data collection instruments are a scaled poll of a variable's parenting pattern and self-concept. Data is used in the Pearson product moment formula with the program Statical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 20.0 The results reveal that there is a significant positive relationship between the foster parents ' pattern of self-concept Students.

Student with low asking skills tend to experience obstader in the learning process. Actually, the effort given by the counseling teacher hasn’t reached the taarget sa expected. This study aims to see the effectiveness of content mastery services using cooperative learning model type think pair share, to improve student questioning skills. This study uses a quantitative approch with design quasy experiment type the non equivalent control group in SHS N 1 Sungai Limau Kab. Padang Pariaman. The subjects are XI IPS 1 & 3 class. Data collection techniques used questionnaire, than analyzed by different test technique wilcoxon and t-test. Research result show content mastery services used cooperative learning model type think pair share can improved student questioning skill and more effectiv than content mastery service without used learning model. Counseling teachers are expected to improve student’s questioning skill throught countent mastery services used cooperative learning proccess type think pair share.

Saturation of learning is a condition in which students feel bored, tired, lack of attention in lessons, no interest and motivation in learning and do not bring results. In fact there are still students who experience saturation in learning. This study aims to describe (1) Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang based on aspects of emotional fatigue, (2) Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang based on aspects of physical fatigue, (3) Student learning saturation in Padang 8 High School based on aspects cognitive fatigue, (4) Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang based on aspects of motivation loss. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive research types. The population of this research is the students of Senior High Scholl 8 Padang in class X and XI with a total of 603 students. With a sample of 240 students selected using the proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data is processed using percentage techniques. The results of this study indicate that Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang is in a more detailed low category (1) Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang based on aspects of emotional fatigue is in the low category, (2) Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang based on aspects of physical fatigue are in the low category, (3) Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang based on aspects of cognitive fatigue are in the low category, (4) Saturation Learning of Student in Senior High Scholl 8 Padang based on aspects of motivation loss is in the low category.

Academic stress is a condition where there is a mismatch between environmental demands and the actual resources owned by students so that they are increasingly burdened by various school and academic pressures and demands. The fact that occurs in the field there are still students who experience academic stress in following the teaching and learning process in school, both viewed from the physiological, psychological, and attitude aspects. This study aims to describe the description of the academic stress level of high school students from physiological symptoms, psychological symptoms, and attitude symptoms. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at Payakumbuh 1 High School, involving 264 high school students as a research sample. Data obtained by giving research instruments in the form of a questionnaire to students. The results of the study are processed to find a percentage and then categorized according to the level of academic stress. The results of the study revealed that, firstly the academic stress of students SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh was in the low category with a percentage of 68.56%. This means that students SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh are able to control situations or conditions that cause academic-related stress. Secondly, the academic stress of students related to physiological symptoms is in the low category. Thirdly, the academic stress of high school students related to psychological symptoms is in the low category. Third, the academic stress of high school students related to attitude symptoms is in the low category.

The meaning of educational success someone discusses about what has been obtained can help those who are completed adjust to their needs and restore their living environment. Every student should be able to adjust wherever he is, but still there are still students who have not been able to work alone in a boarding house. This research is a descriptive-comparative research with quantitative methods. The research subjects selected 100 Padang State University students selected using purposive sampling and incidental sampling techniques. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The results of the study revealed: (1) Distributed to students from West Sumatra in accordance with the fairly good category (2) Self-readable with students issued from outside West Sumatra according to the fairly good category (3) Obtained from significant amounts according to others UNP boarding students from outside and in West Sumatra. Based on the findings, it is recommended that counselors / counselors from outside the school be able to provide guidance and counseling services, namely conversation services, information services, individual counseling services and group guidance services in order to assist students in increasing direct assistance in boarding houses.

Self-determination is an ability possessed by an individual in determining his future destiny that is not resigned to conditions that do not allow. If students are resigned to the conditions they experience will have a negative impact on learning outcomes in school and their future. In reality, it was found out that there were many students who did not think about their future by frequently skipping class during school in the form of frequent absences after recess, not following the learning process in class without clear explanation. This study aims to: (1) describe the level of self-determination of students truant, (2) describe the results of truant student truancy, (3) test whether there is a significant relationship between student self-determination and student learning truant. This research is a descriptive correlational type of research with quantitative methods. The research subjects were students skipping class XI and XII at Pariaman 5 High School in the 2018/2019 school year as many as 73 people who were determined by purposive random sampling technique. The instrument used was the self determination questionnaire. Data were analyzed with descriptive and correlational statistical techniques with the help of the SPSS 20.0 for Windows software program. The results revealed that (1) the level of self-determination of truant students was in the high enough category, (2) the condition of student learning outcomes was in the quite high category, and (3) there was a significant relationship between self-determination (self determination) with student learning outcomes ditching with a correlation coefficient of 0.738 and has a strong relationship.

This study describing the intimacy husband and wife, describing self disclosure young married couple, and examine the relationship of intimacy with self disclosure young married couple. Type of the research is quantitative descriptive correlational. Research subjects are young age couples who totaled 42 couples. Instruments used for data collection is a likert model scale. Dana analyzed is using percentage and interval. Data analyzed to know the relationships between these two variables used statistical analysis with Pearsons Product Moment Correlations technique and used SPSS For Windows 20.0. The results of this reseach is (1) intimacy husband and wife are in an intimate category, (2) self disclosure husband and wife are in the open category, (3) relationship intimacy with self disclosure young married couple is a significant. Based on finding of research, hopefully the counselor can provide professional assistance with information services and personal counseling to help young couple to enhancing their intimacy and self dislcosure.

Self-confidence is very important in the lives of students in school because there are no actions or behaviors that are not based on self-confidence. Attention from parents is one of the factors that influence a student to be confident, but in reality there are still many students who feel less confident. This study aims to examine the relationship between parental attention and the self-confidence of the SMAS students in the UNP Laboratory Development.This type of research is descriptive correlational. The research subjects were students of the XP and XI Laboratory Development Units in the total of 203 students. The instrument used in data collection was a questionnaire with Likert model scale answer choices. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis with percentage techniques and to see the relationship between the two variables used statistical analysis with the technique of Person Product Moment Correlation with the help of SPSS For Windows 20.0.The results of this study reveal (1) parental attention is in the high category, (2) student self-confidence is in the medium category, (3) there is a significant positive relationship between parental attention and student self-confidence. Based on the results of these studies, the researcher suggested that BK teachers develop and develop programs and provide services so that students were able to increase their confidence. In addition, BK teachers also need to collaborate with parents and school personnel in order to direct students to be more confident.
