Abstract

Aviation technology and space is one of the leading technology for developed countries, especially in the form of rocket technology and charge. The countries that are capable of mastering these technologies will be respected by countries all over the world. Indonesia as the island nation with large and extensive maritime should have independence in the mastery of the technology of the rocket and payload. Therefore, continuous efforts are required to achieve independence, including through enhancing the sense of love of aviation technology and space technology, particularly at early stages the rocket and payload. Graphic Monitoring Test Rocket Launch Payload Attitude is the attitude of remote monitoring launch vehicle through the computer screen (display) continuously (real-time) data obtained from sensors-sensors that are mounted on the rocket's payload. 3D point (x, y, z) must be expressed as a graph visualization perspective drawings of rockets with the appropriate direction. The radar conducted computer GS (Ground Segment) or Ground Control Station (GCS. The result of the attitude of the Rocket Test launch Payloads have been able to communicate with the 3D data sending (x, y, and z) in real-time to the Ground segment. Wireless communication uses radio telemetry frequency 433 MHz, power of 100 mW, the distance range obtained in this study a maximum of 500 Meters in the air, without a hitch.

Abstract

Distribution of electrical energy from a plant to a substation or from a substation to other substations usually uses a transmission line. In Bali, type of transmission line that is usually implemented is SUTT 150 kV. The magnitude of the applied voltage is an attempt to reduce power loss for long distance distribution. However, distributing electrical energy with increasing stress affects the increase of electric field around the transmission line. The negative impact of electricity distribution has been an environmental problem for PT. PLN (Persero), especially where there is conversion from an open area to be a residential. This problem has been the main reason for conducting this research. IRPA / INIRC recommendation states that exposure time is not limited to the electric field effect in work environment and public area including a residential area at frequency of 50/60 Hz is 5 kV/m. This recommendation is in accordance with SNI 04-6950-2003, on Threshold Limit Values ??Electric Field under SUTT and high-voltage wires. The first problem of this research is how large the intensity of the electric field between two poles of SUTT 150 kV with vertical and horizontal constructions which are built side by side? The second problem is what the characteristic of the electric field intensity between the two poles which are built side by side? From the analysis, it can be seen that the intensity of the electric field that occurs between the conductor of the vertical and horizontal pole configurations are still below the IRPA/INIRC and SNI 04-6950-2003 recommendation i.e. 1 up to 1.5 kV/m and at a distance of 18 meters to 25 meters there is an interaction of electric field intensity that occurs at these two configurations.

Abstract

Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is one of the potential candidates for the next generation solar cells. One of the most attractive features of the DSSC is the low production costs. The utilization of natural dyes is a new area for investigation due to their unique capability to absorb photons from natural sunlight or artificial light and convert it into electric current. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential of natural dye from red dragon fruit waste as a dye sensitizer. Red dragon fruit peel is initially extracted using methanol and the solution absorption spectra then is characterized using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The absorption spectra is measured within a wavelength range of 400-800 nm. The characterization results show that the maximum absorption spectrum is at a wavelength of 446 nm. The natural dye solution then is used to immerse Fluorine Tin Oxide (FTO) coated with titanium dioxide (TiO2). The glass FTO is immersed in the dye solution for 24 hours. DSSC then is prepared by sandwiching the working electrode and counter electrode. An electrolyte solution is used to fill the interface between the two electrodes. The current and voltage (I-V) characteristics of DSSC is finally measured using amperemeter and voltmeter. The results indicated that the natural dye from the peel of red dragon fruit has potential as a dye sensitizer. Further research is still required to improve the performance of the DSSC.

Abstract

Image databases are becoming very large nowadays, and there is an increasing need for automatic image annotation, for assiting on finding the desired specific image. In this paper, we present a new approach of automatic image annotation using salient object detection and improved k-Nearest Neigbor classifier named ASALTAG. ASALTAG is consist of three major part, the segmentation using Minimum Barirer Salienct Region Segmentation, feature extraction using Block Truncation Algorithm, Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix and Hu’ Moments, the last part is classification using improved k-Nearest Neigbor. As the result we get maximum accuracy of 79.56% with k=5, better than earlier research. It is because the saliency object detection we do before the feature extraction proccess give us more focused object in image to annotate. Normalization of the feature vector and the distance measure that we use in ASALTAG also improve the kNN classifier accuracy for labeling image.

Abstract

Data transmission via wireless communication system is not only in text form but it also can be in image form. In the process of sending data or information, it often experiences interference in transmission media, which is fading. The method used in this research is by simulation using MATLAB. The simulation of CDMA-MIMO (STBC) system with Walsh spreading code is expected to reduce the disturbance of fading. Fading channels can be modeled using Rayleigh distribution. The number of users and spreading factors affect the performance of CDMA-MIMO (STBC) systems. The parameters used in this simulation were SNR, BER, and PSNR. The results showed that image reconstruction passing CDMAMIMO system with spreading factor 4 has better image quality. Its PSNR 33.9589dB when SNR -10dB. SNR was increased 10 dB then PSNR 60.00 dB. The increasing of spreading factor to 8 and 16 was obtained by increasing PSNR, PSNR 35.0685 dB and PSNR 37.5665 dB, respectively. For 4 users with Spreading Factor 4 and SNR 0 to 5 dB, it was changed the BER. This is influenced by changes in SNR. The higher SNR value, the average value of BER will be smaller. A growing number of users from 1 to 4 users were decreased the performance of the MIMO CDMA system when observed from the BER and PSNR.
