Abstract

This study aims to design statisticl learning through the use of Google Classroom. In this study, a valid learning device was produced (validated by experts), and received a positive response as well as design learning statistic l. This research is classified as qualitative research. The 11th semester students at the University of Madura who are taking this 1st statistics course are the subjects in this study. While the data collection technique used is to use a response sheet that is filled out via Google Form and an assignment in the Google Classroom . The data analysis technique used is that student learning outcomes are sought for the average value if the result is more than 75, then the learning design applied is successful and can be used for other courses, and the response to learning outcomes is said to be positive if it gets a percentage of more than 75%. The observation sheet is filled with attention to student activities during the work of assignments and assignments are sent online to students via Google Classroom media. Problem assignments are given to students after they have studied statistics 1. The learning tools designed in this study are in the form of RPM, and test questions. Through this learning design, valid, effective and practical learning tools are obtained.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties of junior high school students with curved side building materials. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and the subject was the students of Al-Mujahidin Middle School in Karawang, class IX, which numbered 20 students. Then the data collection used was to provide 5 questions of the instrument to students. The analysis technique consisted of assessing the students' answers based on the tests that were distributed, determining the types of errors in answering by students and knowing the many types of student errors. From the results of the research data analysis showed that students were not able to calculate the volume, identify the information included in the questions, and could not solve the material questions in the curved side space. So it can be concluded that students still have not mastered the concept of curved side spaces

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties of students and the factors causing students to have difficulty in solving the problem of getting up the flat side space. This type of research is descriptive. The subject of this research is SMPN 1 Naringgul. The population of this study was all students of class IX at SMPN 1 Naringgul, the study sample was taken using a random sample technique of 5 people. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, interviews, and documentation. Data validity uses method triangulation, while data analysis techniques use reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study concluded that 1) students experience errors in receiving information, students have difficulty in stating what needs to be known and what is asked. Difficulties in receiving information were obtained (45%). 2) errors related to the concept of building flat side space, students' difficulties in using formulas and applying them, errors in finding the surface area of beams, errors in modeling problem solving, errors in calculating. Difficulties related to the concept were obtained (64%).

Abstract

This research aims to know the level of learning readiness, numeracy skills, and mathematics learning outcomes of students, as well as to determine the effect of learning readiness and numeracy skills on mathematics learning outcomes. Sampling was done by purposive sampling so that the fifth grade students at MI Islamiyah Bumiayu were selected as samples in this research. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods with data collection techniques documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The research instrument test and questionnaire were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was an influence between learning readiness and mathematics learning outcomes, and there was an influence between numeracy skills and mathematics learning outcomes with the magnitude of the effect of both of them by 88%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and categorize in accordance with the validity, reliability and difficulty index of each item of barisan and series material in high school students class XII IPA 4 in one of the public schools in Cimahi city with a sample used by 28 people. The indicators used to analyze the problem are based on a revised Bloom Taxonomy that contains the cognitive domain levels C2 (understanding), C3 (Applying), C4 (Analyzing), C5 (Evaluating) and C6 (Creating). This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The analysis is done by giving a written test in the form of a description question that amounts to 10 questions, then analyzing the test results that have been done. The method used is content analysis with the help of Microsoft Office Excel. The results of the analysis showed that out of the 10 question items tested there are 6 questions that can be used with the average result of validity and reliability in the moderate category as well as a difficulty index that shows the categories of easy, medium and difficult questions.

Abstract

The research aim to analyzes the ability problem solving mathematical students. a method of research used is descriptive qualitative .The subject of study is 27 students XI at one state senior high school in kabupaten bogor . Technique data collection with use of the instruments tests the ability of problem solving mathematical matter system of equations linear two variables .Technique data analysis three steps, those check their answers students , provides the data test , and draw conclusions the research .The results from the study is the percentage of achievement the ability problem solving mathematical students at the understanding a problem of 30 % , at devising a plan of 52 % , at carrying out of 52 % and looking back of 50 %. This shows that the problem solving mathematically students are on medium category.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive wich aims to find out the differences in the results in solving the material opportunity questions based on gender. The population in this research is all students of class IX in one private junior high school in Cimahi with a sample of 4 female students and 6 male students. The instrument used consists of four written test questions in the form of descriptions on the opportunity material. The data analysis in this study is to calculate the score of the answers, add up the results of each question, calculate the average questions, and interpret the results of the students’ difficulties based on the assessment scale. The results showed that gender differences have an effect on solving math problems. Female students are more dominant in answering and solving math problem clearly than male students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the location of the errors experienced by MTs students in solving the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV) questions in online learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects are students of class IX in Karawang totaling 16 people. Data collection is done by analyzing 5 items of description. The problem indicators used are (1) Creating SPLDV as a mathematical model of the given situation, (2) Creating a mathematical model and determining the completion of SPLDV using the graphical method, (3) Creating a mathematical model and determining the completion of the SPLDV using the elimination method, (4) Making mathematical model and determine the solution of SPLDV by substitution method, (5) Identifying special SPLDV and its solution. Based on the results of the study, the highest student errors were found in the indicators of making mathematical models and determining the completion of the SPLDV using the graphical method with an error percentage of 87.5% (where the minimum criteria were 75%). Based on the results of the analysis, the factors that make these indicators experience errors are that students have difficulty in transforming story questions into the form of mathematical models and difficulties when drawing graphs, this happens because during online learning the concept construction process and the form of visualization when constructing concepts are very difficult to facilitate.

Abstract

This study aim to analyse student difficulties in solving problem in statistic lesson. The type of research is qualitive method with descriptive qualitative approach. This study was implemented at SMPN 1 Batujajar with subject  9D with amount 32 student. Data collection technique in this study using documentation method are student test result with main course of statistic, and data analysis conducted, namely assessing student answers based on the tests given, determining the types of errors in answering questions and the number of types of student errors. Based on the research and discussion, Level mathematical ability of student at SMPN 1 Batujajar that is 44,5% which including in medium category. Difficulties experienced by student are found in the indicators of analyzing data from data distribution that is given from percentage diffifulty level student in solving problem in the mount of 80%. It is because student have found difficulties in turning story problem into mathematical models.

Abstract

Vocational High School is a formal institution that creates more independent, creative, innovative, skilled, and responsible students in solving a problem. Graduates from vocational education are expected to be more competent in solving problems in the world of work. Students are also required to be more active in solving a problem. The research objective was to determine student activity and analyze mathematical problem-solving abilities in implementing mathematics learning using the Problem Based Learning model. The method used is to use a qualitative design. In this method, student activity is measure using the observation sheet, and the problem-solving ability test is carried out by following the steps of Polya's theory. The results showed that the overall student activity reached the excellent category. The general average problem-solving ability obtained an ideal classification, with the movement and moderate mathematical problem-solving ability of students achieving a reasonable variety and positively impacting all vocational students.
