This research is motivated by the low mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in mathematics, especially in junior high schools in West Bandung Regency. Students experience learning difficulties in quadrilateral and triangle material. This study aims to determine the level of mathematical communication skills of students. The sample taken was as many as 31 students in class VIII D in one of the junior high schools in Padalarang Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive which is analyzed from the given instrument. The instruments in this study took the form of 5 written test questions. The results of this study indicate that students' ability to complete mathematical communication skills is still lacking. This can be seen from the results of the recapitulation of the overall answers of students who answered correctly as much as 21%, answered incorrectly as much as 76%, and did not answer as much as 3%. Besides that, it can be seen from the results of the score conversion of students that the mathematical communication skills of students are in the very low category, namely students who score less than 55 by 65%.

After the pandemic entered Indonesia, the Indonesian government has adopted a variety of methods to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, one of which is implementing a policy of physical distance. These policies limit the speed of development in various areas of life, one of which is the field of education, which is implemented through the distance learning (PJJ). The purpose of this research is to analyze the difficulties and obstacles that students face in the online learning process and their solutions. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The study was conducted in August and the number of respondents was 77 students in Class VII SMPN 3 Lembang, including 38 female students and 39 male students. The results of this study show that male and female students have almost the same difficulties and obstacles in online learning, but female students are more likely to encounter these difficulties because it is difficult for female students to concentrate on online learning.

This study aims to examine the misconceptions that often occur in junior high school students on the concept of geometry based on abstraction level. The research method is qualitative with a case study design. Subjects in this study are 27 students of the 3rd grade of junior high school students, who had to learn all the concepts that will be appeared on the test. Material that will be given on the test of this research is the concept of Triangle, Quadrilateral, Flat Side Geometry and Curved Side Geometry. This research takes a place at one of the junior high schools in Cimahi. The instrument in this study is a diagnostic test (to find out the types of students’ misconception), mathematical abstraction tests (to determine the level of abstraction) and interview rubrics. Misconceptions produced by students are closely related to students’ mathematical abstractions, the higher the level of abstraction ability, the more students away from misconceptions. The topic taken in this study is the topic of basic geometry, the results can be a source of information about the types of misconception that often occur in students, and how the solution so that these misconception do not re-occur.

Menyediakan layanan dan fasilitas yang memadai untuk setiap kebutuhan pembelajar adalah prioritas yang harus diperhatikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan layanan dan fasilitas pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa disabilitas dalam melaksanakan perkuliahan Strategi Penulisan Karya lmiah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah sembilan orang mahasiswa disabilitas di IKIP Siliwangi. Rancangan Prosedur pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan rancangan model pembelajaran, validasi rancangan model, uji coba produk, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa 1) rasionalisasi pengembangan moodel dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,25; 2) landasan pengembangan model dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata nilai 3,08; 3) prinsip dasar model dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,17; 4) sintaks dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,17; 5) sistem pendukung dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,25; 6) sistem sosial dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,42; serta 7) dampak instruksional dan dampak penyerta dinyatakan valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,33. Simpulan yang diperoleh adalah hasil pengembangan model Team Teaching Model Berbasis Learning Management System dinyatakan valid untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran Strategi Penulisan Karya Ilmiah pada mahasiswa disabilitas netra. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa pengguna, yakni mahasiswa disabilitas dapat mengikuti perkuliahan dengan baik. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan respon pengguna positif terhadap pengembangan model dan mengemukakan harapan agar dengan adanya sistem ini IKIP Siliwangi dapat menjadi barometer pendidikan tinggi inklusif.

This research is motivated by the many learning obstacles experienced by students in understanding the three-dimensional material, while the teaching materials used by teachers are inadequate because they do not pay attention to student needs. Therefore, this study aims to determine the characteristics of Learning obstacles that occur in students in the three dimensional material as well as to find out the didactic designs used in overcoming Learning obstacles. Didactic design developed in the form of teaching materials are arranged based on four things, namely learning obstacle that occurs, learning trajectory, didactical situation theory and the process of abstraction. The research method used is a qualitative method with a didactic design approach. The subjects in this study were 35 students of class X SMAN 4 Cimahi, with instruments in the form of Respondents' Ability Tests about 5 questions and validation sheets of teaching materials from expert validators. The results showed that the characteristics of Learning obstacle that occurred in the three dimensional material were Ontogenic Obstacle, Didactical Obstacle and Obstacle Epistemology. Then a didactic design was made which was implemented as many as 6 meetings with a validation percentage of 69.5% expert validator, a retrospective analysis was carried out to analyze the students' responses to the didactic hypothesis design, because there were still mismatches of student responses and obstacle epistemology was still found. the validation percentage increased to 76% with a valid category. Based on the implementation, this didactic design can overcome the learning obstacles experienced by students in the three dimensional material. The implications of this study, the good teaching materials provided to students must be arranged based on the needs of students which, including analysis of learning obstacles and student learning trajectories so that learning objectives can be achieved.

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the difficulties experienced by students in working on BRSD material problems. This is taken from the cognitive indicators on the bloom taxonomy which are indicators of its difficulty. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique is by giving questions to students. Furthermore, students' answers are analyzed to determine the extent of the difficulties that occur to students based on the determined indicators. This research was conducted at one of the state junior high schools in Cimahi for the 2020-2021 academic year. The subjects were 20 grade IX students. The instrument inside is a test item with predetermined indicators. The results of the analysis obtained are that there are still students who have difficulty solving indicators of problems that involve cubes. The above is evidenced by the results of the test questions to students where 70% of students experience difficulties with the question indicators as well as the percentage of student answers that are less than the predetermined KKM. The factors that make this indicator experience difficulties are (1) the students' lack of thoroughness in reading, understanding and answering questions; (2) Lack of students' spatial ability to imagine BRSD; (3) Students are accustomed to solving routine problems found in examples.

This study aims to analyze the creative thinking abilities of junior high school students in the Triangle and Quadrilateral material. The method used in the preliminary study is descriptive qualitative, which aims to analyze the ability of students to solve triangular and quadrilateral problems seen from the level of mathematical creative thinking ability of junior high school students. The population in this study were junior high school students in the city of Cimahi and the sample for this study were 36 eighth grade students in one of the junior high schools in the city of Cimahi. The instrument of creative thinking ability test is given as many as 5 questions with the type of description. Then the results obtained are the level of mathematical creative thinking ability of junior high school students in the city of Cimahi based on the written test is still relatively low.

The question is in the form of a description test on the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic which shows that most students have difficulty answering questions about mathematical logic material, this underlies the research. This problem occurs because students do not understand the existing statements and the concept of determining the truth value of a compound statement. The purpose of the research is to find out more about students' mistakes when answering mathematical description questions through analysis and description of some students' mistakes when answering questions on mathematical logic material, therefore this study uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of class XI OTKP (Office Automation and Governance) at one of the Vocational High Schools in Cimahi with a total of 18 students. The stages in this research are planning, implementation, and reporting. The results of the student description test of three questions were used to collect data. The analysis technique used is data reduction, presenting the data and then drawing conclusions. The results and discussion of this study indicate an average of 33.33% of students with low abilities. The percentage of student errors is 44.44% with moderate criteria and 22.22% with low criteria.

This study aims to describe the difficulties of students in solving plane figures questions. This research method is a qualitative method with a case study approach, by describing students with high, medium and low abilities. The subjects of this study were eighth grade junior high school students in West Bandung, taken randomly with 9 students with high abilities who could be said to be good, and students with moderate and low abilities were still classified as low. The instrument used is a test item that refers to indicators of mathematical connection ability. Based on data analysis that students do not understand the questions given, lack of understanding in mathematical concepts, students' mistakes in completing questions based on conceptual and procedural, students feel confused when connecting mathematical material with other material so that they cannot work on the problem. With so the results of the analysis of a sample of junior high school students in West Bandung regency with initial abilities of high, medium, and low level students shows the average level of mathematical ability is still relatively low in students with medium and low abilities.

The study aims to provide results from an analysis of the need for such materials as ICT at Senior High School levels. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through Google form spread by the respondents of 5 math subjects from several Senior High Schools and 10 students at one Senior High School in Sukabumi district. The angular instruments used in this study are based on three things: math study, mathematical materials, and the use of ICT with the analysis techniques used are (1) studying all the data gathered, (2) studying the open angular response results (3) describing ICT - supported teaching needs. Based on the results of this research analysis, math learning uses a saintifical approach and a variety of approaches consistent with the material and the characteristics of he student, the study of mathematical materials is desirable when the relative material is easy to understand, and the use of ICT is essential because it can not only accommodate and strengthen the student's imagination in understanding mathematical materials. Thus, teaching that is appropriate and can sustain students' ability in the learning process, which is in the LKS form by providing ict assistance.
