Education is an important aspect that must be implemented in Era 4.0 towards 5.0. The results of the research in one school showed that the students' mathematical critical thinking skills were still low. This study aims to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills in class XI Fashion Design. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely classroom action research. The subjects who were given the action were students of Class XI Fashion Design at SMK Plus Darussurur Cimahi for the academic year 2021-2022 totaling 30 people and divided into 6 groups. The instrument is in the form of a critical thinking ability test as many as 2 story questions, on the Problem Based Learning Model LKPD which is presented in digital comics pro, assisted by Geogebra. The results showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle 1 to cycle 2, but in cycle 3 there was a decrease. Overall, the results showed that there was an increase in the tendency of students' mathematical critical thinking abilities, from low to good, good responses and above average mastery.

Academic achievement of students of SMP Negeri 4 Cibinong in Mathematics for the 2021-2022 academic year using the Problem Based Learning learning model is not satisfactory. This proves that students still do not understand the stages in working on the questions. Another reason is that students are still not familiar with the PBL method compared to conventional methods. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of ability of students when they solve problems, especially in mathematics problems with algebraic material through the use of Problem based learning models. This research method is descriptive and aims to present a sign, phenomenon, or event in the present. Through descriptive research, researchers describe events and events that have a role as center and attention. The result that can be taken is the low problem-solving ability of students at SMP Negeri 4 Cibinong. There are several types of errors when solving problems in algebraic material. 46% ability to understand problems, 40% ability to make plans, and 0% ability to complete plans 16% ability to recheck solutions. Usually students with conventional learning result in students depending on educators or teachers then they experience a decline to solve problems. If the teacher familiarizes the Problem Based Learning learning model, students' problem-solving abilities will increase and learning will not be teacher-centered.

This research is a classroom action research. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the discovery learning model and to determine student learning outcomes after the application of the discovery learning model to mathematical problem solving abilities. The subjects of this research were 12 students of class IX E SMP Bhakti Mulya Batujajar in the academic year 2021/2022. Data collection techniques through pretest and posttest, teacher and student observation sheets, interviews and questionnaires. This research was conducted in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the application of the discovery learning model went well and had an impact on increasing students' mathematical problem solving as seen from: 1) students were able to understand problems as many as 10 people (83%), 2) students were able to plan problem solving strategies as many as 9 people ( 75%), 3) students were able to do problem solving strategies as many as 10 people (83%), 4) students were able to check the correctness of the answers or the results obtained as many as 8 people (67%). Based on the description above, it is concluded that the application of the discovery learning model can improve mathematical problem solving abilities.

Learning style is a method used by each individual to absorb information easily and quickly. Learning style is one of the supporting factors related to mathematical literacy ability. This can happen because learning styles can affect learning outcomes and student achievement. In this study, the learning style used is the VAK learning style (Visual, Audiotori, Kinesthetic). The purpose of this research is to describe how students' mathematical literacy skills at VAK learning style. Selected 1 student who has the highest score on the visual learning style, 1 student who has the highest score on the auditory learning style, and 1 student who has the highest score on the kinesthetic learning style. The results obtained from this study are students with the highest visual learning style can complete level 1 correctly. at level 3 and 4 students with the highest visual learning style came to the indicators of translating problems. Meanwhile, students with the highest auditory learning style were only able to complete level 3 correctly. Meanwhile, students with the highest kinesthetic learning style can complete level 1 correctly. At level 3 only errors occur when drawing conclusions. So it can be concluded that students with the highest visual learning styles can achieve higher competencies than students with auditory and kinesthetic learning styles.

Learning difficulties are external factors that have an impact on the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics. Another element that adds to learning difficulties is the lack of enthusiasm (motivation) for learning and makes students reluctant and lazy to learn mathematics. The reasons for carrying out the analysis of this study include finding, identifying and assessing learning difficulties faced by class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Cililin, as well as students' mistakes when working on set material questions. The method used in this research is by using descriptive qualitative method. Participants in this study were 18 students. The approach of collecting data in this research is by giving a test test of three questions in the form of a description. Based on the money study that has been carried out, there are several aspects of learning difficulties including although most students already understand the concept of the set, they still experience some learning difficulties, such as not being able to understand the problem, not being careful in recording the members of the set, and having difficulty in making the required mathematical model.

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research that aims to describe algebra thinking skills of student SMP in solving mathematic problem review from mathematic anxiety. Two subject were selected through of provision of mathematic anxiety questionnaire (AKM) and mathematical ability test (TKM) in class VII-B of MTs Hidayatun Najah Tuban. The instrument used for problem solving test (TPM), and interview guide. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result show that low anxiety student do all algebraic thinking activities, meanwhile high anxiety student don’t make algebraic thinking activities.

This study aims to develop a manipulative puzzle game media on permutation and combination subject. The puzzle game manipulative media developed in this study consisted of game board and game card. This research is a development research using a response questionnaire instrument and a validation sheet. This manipulative media development research refers to the model proposed by Plomp which consists of 5 stages, namely 1) the initial investigation stage, 2) design stage, 3) realization stage, 4) evaluation, test, and revision stages, and 5) implementation stage. This research was only carried out until the evaluation and revision stage. The subjects in this study were 10 prospective mathematics teachers. The techniques of analyzing by Hobri’s. The results of this study from questionnaire response analysis showed that the percentage of media practicality, which was 80%, was in the practical category. Based on analysis data of validation sheet, percentage of media validity is 83% so that is in the valid category. This shows that the manipulative puzzle game media is valid and practical to use in learning activities.

The experimentation was conducted online with the aim of analyzing student errors when working on set material questions through bold learning. The subjects of the experimentation are students from private high school in Bandung City with total of 20 students. The collection of data method uses the Whatsapp Group media. The technique for this observation is descriptive qualitative. Research media uses 6 about descriptions. The conclusion from the inquiry of participants in working on sets of: (1) students cannot change a representation into other forms, (2) students also cannot identify the properties of the set concept. This study obtained the result that the completion of the set questions was difficult for students. So it can be concluded that the skill of students when learning is low about the set material is still categorized (minimal).

During the covid-19 pandemic, learning in schools became limited. However, as time goes by, face to face learning had to continue in order to achieve maximum learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in class XI in a Vocational High Schools in Cimahi City by using a Problem Based Learning approach to the material of mathematical logic. This research is a classroom action research method which was conducted on 12 students in the 2021/2022 academic year.The test instrument is a posttest consisting of 4 essay questions, which are given in cycle I and cycle II. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. The average value of the class in cycle I did not meet the KKM. In cycle II, the average value of the class has increased, so that it reaches the KKM.

This research is included in classroom action research or classroom action research to examine efforts to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes after being rewarded. The hypothesis is that the method of giving rewards can be one of the efforts to increase motivation, which impacts student learning outcomes in series and sequence material in distance or online learning in class XI SMK students. The research instrument for class XI RPL-A SMK Pusdikhubad Cimahi in the 2020/2021 period was 34 people. Researchers used an instrument with an ability test to measure student learning outcomes and a questionnaire to measure their learning motivation. The data analysis technique used is the initial data analysis or requirements test which consists of normality test, homogeneity test. Then the final data analysis was carried out in the form of normality, homogeneity, T-Testm, N-Gain, and Treatment tests. Researchers found an increase in learning motivation and learning outcomes for class XI SMK students in online or online learning in the subject "Barisan dan Deret." This is indicated by the percentage of students' motivation scores and learning outcomes in cycles I and II. Student learning motivation in cycles I and II, namely 2.92 and 4.22, means an average increase of 1.30. And for student learning outcomes in cycles I and II, namely 52.94% and 79.41%, which means there is an average increase of 26.49%.
