Abstract

Research studies on student and teacher respond on English reading instruction materials development integrated into character values and used in English learning process has increased several attention stated workshop, seminar and dissemination. In Indonesia, those studies have little attention as a development research base. Gusmaizal (2016), Beniario (2018) some studies relating with applying the instruction materials design is indicated as a practicality of instruction process activities. It infers with student and teacher respond during applying the English reading instruction materials design. This research was held at grade XI of MA KM.M Padang Panjang. Collecting data used questionnaires. The participants of the research were the students and teacher. The students respond was very practical and the teacher respond was practical in applying the English reading instruction materials integrated into character values through the scientific approach. To sum up, the implementing English instruction materials development was practical. This research development is strongly recommended for the English teachers in teaching English integrated into character values through scientific approach.Keywords: Reading, Character, Scientifik Approach

Abstract

Based on the daily tests of pure mathematics odd semester students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang is known that the students' mathematics learning is still low. Based on observations, the learning process is still centered on the teacher. The level of students' understanding of the material being taught is still lacking. Students participate less actively in the learning process, not take the initiative to learn about their own material to be covered. One effort that strategy is expected to increase the activity of students is to apply mathematics learning strategy Small-Group Work using students' worksheets. The problems of this study is whether the small group strategy implementation work using student worksheets can increase the activity of students and student learning outcomes. This type of research is experimental research, the design of Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang registered in the Academic Year 2015/2016. Samples were taken at random, and was elected class X TKJ 1 as an experimental class, and a class X TKJ 2 as the control class. Collecting data in research using achievement test in the form of essay test as many as eight items and observation sheet to see student activity. The conclusion of this study is the student activity in the learning of mathematics Small-Group Work tends to increase with the use of worksheets in the learning process at every meeting and obtained  and  then  which means that  rejected. That is the result of students 'mathematics learning by using mathematical learning strategies Small-Group Work using student worksheets better than not using mathematics learning strategy Small-Group Work using students' worksheets. Kata Kunci: Strategi Small-Group Work, lembar kerja siswa, pembelajaran matematika, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Aktivitas belajar siswa rendah dalam bertanya, menjawab dan mengerjakan latihan dan PR sehingga hasil belajar siswa menjadi rendah. Metode guru dalam mengajar tidak bervariasi (monoton) sehingga siswa menjadi bosan dan malas belajar matematika. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah di atas adalah dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAIPenelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan dua siklus, sebagai subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 1 Sungai Tarab yang berjumlah 26 orang. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah dalam bentuk lembaran observasi aktivitas siswa, kuesioner dan tes hasil belajar.Aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan ke arah yang baik, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 70,5 yang tuntas 11 orang atau 42 % sedangkan pada  siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 77,7 yang tuntas 18 orang atau 69 %. Berdasarkan  hasil analisis data dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN  1 Sungai tarab.Hasil angket memperlihatkan banyak mamfaat dari penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI yaitu siswa menjadi lebih senang, aktif dan lebih berhasil dalam belajar matematika.Kata kunci : Aktivitas, Kooperatif, Matematika, Hasil Belajar, TAI

Abstract

Berdasarkan pengalaman penulis di SDN 12 Sitiung bahwa guru belum memanfaatkan media yang sesuai dalam menyajikan suatu materi pembelajaran PKn, sehingga hal ini menyebabkan peserta didik kurang termotivasi dan kurang memahami konsep pembelajaran yang disajikan, hal ini tergambar dari hasil belajar peserta didik   pada saat evaluasi setelah pembelajaran berakhir hanya mencapai nilai rata-rata 62 pada materi yang di ajarkan, sedangkan  standar nilai di sekolah itu adalah 75, jadi nilai yang di capai masih di bawah standar. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa maka penulis menggunakan media Gambar Dalam Pembelajaran PKn dengan Tema Kedisiplinan. Media gambar merupakan sarana yang dapat membantu proses belajar mengajar, sarana itu mencapai proses pembelajaran siswa dan dapat membuat pembelajaran menarik dan relatif lebih mudah. Media gambar dapat membantu siswa dan guru untuk menciptakan proses pembelajaran lebih baik jika dipakai dengan tepat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan. Yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Dari data penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa. Ini terlihat dari nilai pra siklus rata-ratanya 61,3 meningkat 8,7% jadi 70. Dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II meningkat lagi 13% yakni menjadi 83. Jadi setelah proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus didapatkan 13 siswa dari 15 siswa yang nilainya berada diatas KKM yang ditetapkan. Kata Kunci: gambar, hasil belajar PKn, materi kedisiplinan

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes are caused by various factors, including the majority of students are less focused and less active during pembelajaan process, which makes difficult students to master the material so that students are lazy for homework given. One effort that can be done is to give teachers some Brain Gym movements (brain exercise) before the learning begins in order to focus more students during the learning process. The hypothesis put forward is the results of students 'mathematics learning that uses the Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Beginning with the Brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning is better than the results of students' mathematics learning without the use of Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT ) Beginning with brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning in class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh.Penelitian done in class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh. The results of study were taken in this study is the result of learning mathematics in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The instrument used was a test result of learning and observation sheet.Analysis of the final test result data by using t-test at 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) and 37 degrees of freedom is obtained t_hitung = 2,73> 1,68 = t _ ((0.95; 37)). which means H_0ditolak and H_1 received thus results of mathematics learning by applying Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Beginning with the Brain Gym (brain exercise) is better than the result of learning mathematics students who do not apply Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Heads Together ( NHT) Beginning with brain Gym (gymnastics of the brain) in Mathematics Learning in Class VIII SMP N 1 Batipuh. Keywords: Numbered HeadsTogether, Brain Gym

Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan hasil ungkapan kejiwaan seorang pengarang, yang berarti di dalamnya ternuansakan suasana kejiwaan sang pengarang, baik suasana pikir maupun suasana rasa. Sebagai pencerminan dari realitas kehidupan masyarakat, novel memuat peristiwa-peristiwa yang muncul melalui tokoh. Tokoh adalah pelaku yang terlibat dalam cerita, sedangkan psikologis adalah aspek kepribadian yang dimiliki tokoh tersebutJenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Metode ini digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data-data tentang psikologis tokoh novel Jangan Buang Ibu Nak karya Wahyu Derapriyangga pada aspek:  id, ego, dan super ego. Analisis data dilakukan terhadap perilaku 12 tokoh.  Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa masing-masing tokoh memiliki aspek kepribadian dan perannya. Tokoh utama novel Jangan Buang Ibu Nak karya Wahyu Derapriyangga yaitu Restiana, sedangkan tokoh pendamping: Sulung, Tengah, Bungsu, Wulan, Bu Sumi, Euis, Pak Hasan, Pak Burhan, Bu Surti, Pak Gading, Junadi Ansor. Setiap tokoh memiliki aspek kepribadian yang bebeda. Restiana sebagai tokoh utama memiliki 4 aspek id; sabar, tidak mudah menyerah, berani, menginginkan anaknya bahagia, 1 aspek ego; ragu, dan 4 aspek super ego; pekerja keras, bersyukur, peduli, dan putus asa. Sulung memiliki 2 aspek id; keinginan memenuhi kebutuhan biologis dan jujur,1 aspek ego; kecewa, dan 2 aspek super ego; bertanggung jawab dan berterima kasih. Tengah memiliki, 1  aspek id; penyayang, 1 aspek ego; memiliki penilaian baik terhadap orang lain, dan 1 aspek super ego; peduli. Bungsu memiliki 2 aspek super ego; perhatian dan rela berkorban. Bu Sumi memiliki 1 aspek id yaitu penyayang, dan  super ego; peduli. Pak Hasan memiliki 1 aspek super ego; perhatian. Wulan memiliki 1 aspek id; ramah, 1 aspek ego; memiliki pendendam, dan 1 aspek super ego; dermawan. Euis memiliki 1 aspek ego; perhatian. Pak Burhan memiliki 1 aspek id; sombong dan juga egois. Pak Gading memiliki1 aspek id; pemarah. Bu Surti memiliki 1 aspek id; pemarah. Junaedi Ansor memiliki 1 aspek super ego; peduli.Kata kunci: karya fiksi, psikologis, id, ego, super ego

Abstract

Berdasarkan nilai pre tes didapatkan data rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, dari 30 siswa yang tuntas 18 orang (60 %) dan 12 orang (40 %) belum tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 58.46. Nilai rata-rata ini masih jauh dari nilai KKM IPS  yaitu 65 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 85 %. Hal ini disebabkan materi Kehidupan Masyarakat Indonesia Pada Masa Pra Sejarah  merupakan materi yang sulit dipahami siswa. Hal ini bisa dipahami karena materinya menyangkut masa lampau dan materinya padat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning dengan menggunakan media LIPS CARD GAMES dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Manfaat Penelitian adalah agar siswa mendapatkan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, menjadi alternatif model/ media bagi guru sejenis atau bisa dimodifikasi oleh guru mata pelajaran lain. Penelitian  dilaksanakan dengan  dua siklus, setiap siklus diadakan dua  kali pertemuan. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning dan media LIPS CARD GAMES dengan langkah-langkah perencanaan tindakan, pelaksaanaan  tindakan, evaluasi setiap akhir siklus I dan II. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pre test rata-rata 58.46  menjadi 63.20 pada siklus I dan meningkat lagi menjadi 70.12 pada siklus II dan ketuntasan siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 60 % menjadi 75 % dan diakhir siklus II menjadi 87 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning dan   media LIPS CARD GAMES pada Mata Pelajaran IPS di SMP dapat dijadikan alternatif model pembelajaran  bagi guru lain.Kata Kunci : Hasil Belajar , Cooperative Learning,  media LIPS CARD GAMES dan SMPN 2 Koto Besar

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze and describe the achievement motivation of badminton athletes in Bungo district. This research has shown some of its outcome target such as becomes a topic discussion in local scientific meeting which has been held in STKIP-MB. In addition, the results of this study will be published in the National Journal of ISSN. Furthermore, this research was a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data were gathered through observation, interview and documentation study. Sources of data in this study were athletes and badminton coaches who joined in the bottom club PBSI Bungo. This research was conducted in June 2017 until August 2017. The conclusions of this research were: (1) motivation source for achievement of badminton athletes in Bungo was the intrinsic motivation. They wanted to be excellent athletes, champion and top athlete, (2) even though the motivational role of the badminton athlete of Bungo district in PB Bungo Sport and PB Tunas Bungo was high, but it could not contribute to the achievement. This happened due to coaches, parents and related parties didn’t fully support the athlete's process while training for the match.Keywords: Achievement motivation, badminton athlete

Abstract

This research is motivated because connotative meaning is not only used in society only, in the text of the short story used the language is very diverse. In writing the text of the short story students only write based on ideas and ideas alone regardless of the use of words and meaning of words contained in the text of the short story reviews. Actually the words written by the students contain a lot of meaning. This study aims to describe the connotative meaning in the text of the students of class education study. This type of research is a qualitative research that produces written data of connotative meanings in the text of students of class education study . The method used in this research is descriptive method that is describe connotative meaning in the text of student class education. The data collection technique is done by the teacher explaining the text material of the short story and connotative meaning, the teacher distributes the short story sheet which will be reviewed, the teacher assigns the students to make the review text, the teacher collects the students work, and the researcher asks the students Indonesia. The steps taken in analyzing the data in this study is, reading the text of the students' short story reviews, underlining words that include connotative meanings by coding in accordance with research instruments, classifying data into tables contained in research instruments, analyzing connotative meanings used by students, and summarizes the results of connotative meaning analysis. Based on the research result, it is concluded that there are 14 connotative meanings. Keywords: connotative meanings, short story text.
