Abstract

Humans are unique creatures (Descartes, 1596-1650) humans are creatures who think (cogito); doubts about its existence the cogito ergo sum are answered which is building a relationship with their environment to develop themselves as human beingsm, wherever men have lived together there has been some group interest in food, traveling, and pleasure. This interest as group grows becomes more complex, and places in charged with the chance and challenge of feeding and offering is created. Human capital is not only a factor in economic growth, but also an effect of it or of developments generated by economic growth. The process of economic growth can explain much of the observed variation in the structure distribution among culinary foods as a social phenomenon. The global spread culinary industries produced benefit development of well-being in many areas. The contribution of culinary to economic well-being depends on the quality and revenues of the culinary that offer. The trend of  world community todays there is an interest increase of most of people, with their own reasons, they like to spend their time to the food court even a while. Due to the result of research shows that with 180 respondents from any reasons we try to study (ages of group of respondents, gender, education, occupation, the living area, their related Activities Culinary for. Lunch and or dining out is growing form of half of informal form and leisure where meals are consumed not out of necessity but also important sustainable positioning in ever more complex for pleasure and to build a relationships, the occasion are part of the leisure experiences as much as the food itself as social-belonging, esteem, and self-actualization (Hierarchy of Needs, Maslow, 1954), and event cultural object. In Sen’s capabilities approach which holds a person’s capability to have various functioning vectors and to enjoy the corresponding “well-being achievements” to the best indicator of welfare (Sen, 1985) means that culinary as social phenomenon growth amplifies the positive impacts of rotation economic and  market production at the same time welfare too. Abstract

This study quantitatively assessed the model of Employee Excellence with predictor constructs of Employee Engagement, Enablement, and Empowerment.  The analyses utilized Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with latent variables.  The measurement model for the predictor variables used formative indicators, therefore, this study used Partial Least Square (PLS)-SEM.  The research focused on eight manufacturing companies in Indonesia, with foremen as the unit of analysis, totaling as many as 257 respondents.  Research findings revealed that each predictor construct has a key driver: Psychological Capital was found to be the key driver of Employee Engagement, Infrastructure for Data Sharing (which was later reconfirmed as Knowledge Management) was the key driver of Employee Enablement, and Transformational Leadership was the key driver of Employee Empowerment.  The study also revealed that Employee Engagement, Enablement, and Empowerment altogether related positively and significantly with Employee Excellence.  The research findings provide empirical basis for prioritizing strategic actions on the most important factors for affecting employee engagement, enablement, and empowerment, in order to foster employee excellence.

Abstract

Pembangunan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah seringkali tidak diketahui oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Banyuasin secara luas, karena lambatnya proses penyampaian informasi, seringkali informasi pembangunan yang dilakukan hanya diketahui oleh instansi-instansi Pemerintah yang terkait dan masyarakat lokal tempat kegiatan pembangunan dilakukan. Selain itu, penggunaan akun-akun media sosial resmi pemerintah yang belum maksimal menyebabkan masyarakat Kabupaten Banyuasin masih banyak yang belum mengetahui bahwa pemerintah sudah memiliki akun media sosial resmi yang digunakan untuk memberikan informasi-informasi mengenai kegiatan pembangunan yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah di Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas media sosial dalam penyebarluasan informasi pembangunan Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni menggunaan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah admin media sosial resmi pemerintah, sedangkan sumber data sekunder dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa dokumen, struktur organisasi dan buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian yang dilakukan berdasarkan indikator dari Teori Uses and Effect yaitu, Efek yang didapat ialah penyebaran dan penerimaan informasi dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin kepada masyarakat terjadi secara efektif dan efisien, kemudian Konsekuensi yang didapat ialah informasi terbaru yang dibagikan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin dapat langsung diakses oleh masyarakat, serta Konsefek yang didapat ialah Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin mendapatkan kepercayaan yang tinggi dari masyarakat atas informasi-informasi yang dibagikan melalui media sosial resmi milik Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuasin.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of event’s service quality and event’s satisfaction of company sport repetitive event on employee happiness at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III Plaju. The population in this study is all employees of PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III Plaju as many as 1024 employees. The samples used in the study were as many as 156 employees as respondents obtained by probability sampling with proportional random sampling method. Data collection methods use questionnaires and data processing techniques used through multiple linear regression analysis. Results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that event’s service quality has a positive and significant effect on the employee’s happiness at PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III as well as the event’s satisfaction is positive and significant to the employee’s happiness at PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III. From those variables, the most dominant variable affecting employee happiness in this study was the service quality. It is recommended to PT Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III to enhance service quality aspects at the future company sport repetitive events, including interaction quality, physical environment quality and outcome quality. For further researchers, it is advisable to add other variables including performance, work environment, compensation and achievements.

Abstract

The number of Indonesian millenials visiting Bangkok is increase year by year.  There must be a strong reason, why Indonesian millenials decide to visit Bangkok.  This research aims to find out the factors influencing Indonesian millenials’ travel decision to visit Bangkok.  The push and pull travel motivations theory are used to develop the research framework.  A quantitative research with primary data collected   by using a questionnaire is done.  The data analysis used in this research is linear regression.  There are two models, multiple linear regression and simple linear regression.  A multiple linear regression is used to find out the factors of traveler satisfaction, while a simple linear regression is used to find out the influence of traveler satisfaction toward travel decision.  The result shows that there are five push factors and five pull factors influencing traveler satisfaction, and at the end, traveler satisfaction influences travel decision.  The five push factor are knowledge and culture, friendship, social status, sightseeing, and new experience.  Meanwhile the five pull factors are local values, destinations features, historical values, cultural values, and outdoor attraction.  Relaxation, as a part of push factor, does not influence traveler satisfaction.Keywords: Push and Pull Travel Motivations, Traveler Satisfaction, Travel Decision,Indonesian Millenial, Bangkok

Abstract

Bank di Indonesia dikategorikan menjadi beberapa tipe berdasarkan ukuran, tipe bunga yang diberikan (shariah dan komersial), kemampuan melakukan transaksi (umum dan perkreditan rakyat). Salah satu fungsi kategorisasi tersebut adalah fungsi administratif dan pengawasan oleh lembaga pemerintah. Penelitian ini mencoba meneliti apakah terdapat karakteristik sebagai konsekuensi dari kategori tersebut. Selanjutnya apa konsekuensi ekonomi dari karakteristik tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran yaitu dengan menggunakan analisa rasio dan studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan karakteristik dari masing-masing ekonomi. Konsekuensi dari perbedaan karakteristik tersebut adalah adanya penguasaan pasar yang dominan dari bank-bank besar yang timbul karena adanya skala ekonomis.

Abstract

Investor pemula mempunyai peran penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Jumlah investor pemula menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Mempelajari perilaku para investor pemula merupakan hal yang menarik, mengingat segala aktivitas mereka pada akhirnya akan mempengaruhi investasi dan perekonomian secara keseluruhan. Tujuan studi ini adalah menentukan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi perilaku investasi para investor pemula dan melihat apakah ada perbedaan perilaku berinvestasi para investor pemula antara, baik saat sebelum Ppandemi Ccovid-19 dan selama Ppandemi Ccovid-19. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, yang mengimplementasikan teori  perilaku terencana (the theory of planned behavior) dengan mewawancarai 234 investor pemula di Bursa Efek Indonesia sebagai (responden)  yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Variabel yang digunakan meliputi : sikap investor terhadap investasi (attitude toward investment), norma subjektif dalam berinvestasi (subjective norm in investing), dan persepsi pengendalian perilaku dalam berinvestasi (perceived behavioral control in investing)  sebagai variabel independen.  Sementara niat berinvestasi (investing intention) dan perilaku berinvestasi (investing behavior) sebagai variabel dependen. Data diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan model SEM ( Stuctural Equation Modelling (SEM)). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pada masa Ppandemi Ccovid-19, sikap investor, norma subjektif, dan persepsi pengendalian perilaku, berpengaruh pada niat berinvestasi investor pemula. Sementara pada saat sebelum Ppandemi Ccovid-19, norma subyektif tidak berpengaruh pada niat berinvestasi. Selanjutnya, pada kedua periode tersebut(sebelum dan selama pandemi covid-19), niat berinvestasi mempengaruhi perilaku berinvestasi investor pemula.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pertimbangan konsumen dalam purchase decision obat bebas painkiller. Responden yang dipilih untuk mengisi survey ini adalah konsumen yang telah membeli obat bebas painkiller selama 3 bulan terakhir. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan purposive sampling. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 175 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk pengujiannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa promotion, product quality, dan price memberikan pengaruh terhadap purchase decision. Sedangkan, perceived risk tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap purchase decision.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, pendidikan merupakan salah satu kebutuhan sangat penting dalam kehidupan saat ini yang harus dipenuhi oleh manusia. Tingkat Pendidikan menjadi tolak ukur untuk kemajuan suatu wilayah, daerah ataupun negara. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif ekploraitf, dengan menggunakan teknik analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMK Dharma Wanita yaitu sebanyak 34 orang, dengan teknik penentuan sampel adalah sampling jenuh sehingga didapatkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 34 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel motivasi (X1) mampu meningkatkan kinerja (Y), begitu juga dengan variabel disiplin kerja (X2) didapatkan hasil mampu meningkatkan kinerja (Y) guru. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS versi 26.0 pada uji t didapatkan nilai probabilitas signifikansi untuk motivasi sebesar 0.000 dengan nilai beta (B) sebesar 0.659, sedangkan nilai probabilitas signifikansi untuk disiplin kerja adalah 0,001 dengan nilai beta (B) sebesar 0,408. Sedangkan untuk nilai signifikansi uji simultan (Uji F) didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000, dimana nilai signifikansi tersebut kurang dari 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulan bahwa secara simultan variable motivasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru SMK Dharma Wanita Gresik. Dari hasil tersebut dinyatakan bahwa baik secara parsial (uji t) maupun secara simultan (uji F) menyatakan bahwa variable motivasi dan disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial Venture Creation is one of signature curricula in International Business Management Universitas Ciputra Surabaya. It is part of 7 semesters Entrepreneurship Education Journey to equip students with entrepreneurial skill by doing real business project.  It is a set skill that helps students to face volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) future. Especially during COVID-19, it’s one of a real case study of VUCA. During Entrepreneurial Venture Creation (EVC), students guided through design thinking phase starting from empathize, defining problem, ideation and prototyping, market testing, finally they evaluate and conclude their venture development. Half of the design thinking process of EVC was done remotely in an online classroom platform due to COVID-19. The purpose of this research is to evaluate whether Entrepreneurship Education intervention in form of Entrepreneurial Venture Creation curricula can increase their perceived knowledge, perceived entrepreneurial mindset, and perceived venture creation skill. This study also want get a closer understanding how team behavior can interfere their venture continuation. There are 533 of second semester students who were participated in the survey. Total population sampling was used in the process. The result of simple statistic descriptive showed they have positively increased their perceived entrepreneurial knowledge, perceived entrepreneurial mindset and perceived venture creation skill, whether they have a good team behavior or not. The statistic showed that there are 9.19% teams that didn’t have good behavior and decided to discontinue their venture, yet still have high perceived entrepreneurial knowledge, perceived entrepreneurial mindset, and perceived venture creation skill.
