Abstract

This study is to investigate the willingness or intention of millennials and Gen Z era because nowadays, they are the new target market and their tourism destination image to visit several places in Indonesia based YouTube account "Indonesia.Travel" about their promotional video "Wonderful Indonesia-A Visual Journey." In this video, there will be four places. The first one is Bunaken, Manado; Banyuwangi, East Java; Lombok; and Wakatobi. The paper is presenting and experimental research (pre-test and post-test) to measure intention and tourism image of destination places in Indonesia and qualitative method (with Focus Group Discussion) in the open-ended questions. There is a significant influence of post-test to tourism image of choosing a destination in Millenials, and Gen Z and also there is a significant difference between post-test and pre-test, before and after the promotional video of "Wonderful Indonesia-A Visual Journey." The Research Limitation/Implication is the subject is only Millenial, and Gen Z and this research only use accidental sampling. The practical implication in this research it is hoping that the paper will contribute to doing business about the promotional video in other places in Indonesia, or the world.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically prove the influence of debt to total assets ratio, capital adequacy ratio, total assets turnover, return on assets, and good corporate governance towards financial distress by Altman Z-Score. This research uses the population of Islamic banks published in the Financial Service Authority during the period 2013-2018, where the data is collected from official bank websites. Adopting a quantitative research and has 72 observations from 12 banks in six years. The result shows that capital adequacy ratio and return on assets have significant positive influence towards financial distress. While debt to total assets ratio has the significant negative influence to financial distress. However, total assets turnover and good corporate governance have a negative insignificant influence to Financial Distress. Simultaneously, all independent variables have a significant influence on financial distress, which is indicated by a value of 59.9%.

Abstract

This research conducted to measure the factors that influence social entrepreneurial intention of  young generation with use President University Faculty of Business students. It has three independent variables (empathy, self efficacy and exposure) and one dependent variable (social entrepreneurial intention). Quantitative research chosen as an approach and using questionnaire as a collection data instrument.The questionnaire distributed through online (google form, social media) to 557 respondents and the response received were 334 (59.96% response rate).  Multiple regression used to analyze the data gathered. All 20 items in the questionnaire have passed the validity and reliability test by using pearsoncorrelation and cronbachalpha. Then multiple regression analysis shown that all independent variables were significance influence to dependent variable. From three independent variables, the self efficacy as the highest influence towards social entrepreneurial intention (39.7%), followed by exposure (34.4%) and empathy (25.3%).The  regression  model  was:     Y= 1.073 + 0.253 X1+ 0.397 X2+ 0.344 X3 + e.  From t-test and F-test, showed that all the independent variables (empathy, self efficacy and exposure) had significant effect towards the dependent variable (social entrepreneurial intention) and it also had simultaneously significant effect towards social entrepreneurial intention. Lastly, this research explained 40.4% variation of social entrepreneurial intention could explain by empathy, self efficacy and exposure, while the rest (59.6%) explained  by other factors that was not included in this research.

Abstract

Analysis of the Response of Conventional Taxi Transportation Service Users to the Existence of Online Taxis in Pontianak is a problem raised in this study, and the authors limit it to: Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis and Measures of Availability of Analysis of Public Facilities. Descriptive methods and data collection techniques are done by conducting interviews, documentary studies and questionnaires. The population is Conventional Taxi Service Users and Online Taxis in Pontianak. The sampling technique from the population used purposive sampling with 100 respondents. The results showed that Transportation Minister Decree Variable Number 26 Year 2017 Article 5 Regarding Transportation Services of People Using Conventional and Online Taxis has an overall average of 6.00 and 7.67, and Variable Size of Decision to Use Taxis has an overall average of 6.25 and 7.50. Key words: Analysis of the taxi passengers

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of actuating and controlling on the performance of the South Sumatra Province Porprov XII organizing committee in Prabumulih in 2019. The data used in this study are primary data by distributing questionnaires to 128 respondents. The analysis technique used is linear regression analysis. Based on the results of this study, using SPSS version 23 shows that: (1) Actuating has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Porprov committee. (2) Controlling has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Porprov committee. The percentage value of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.524 illustrates that 52.4% of the variation in performance variables can be explained by the actuating and controlling variables at Porprov XII South Sumatra Football Branch in Prabumulih in 2019, while 47.6% others are explained by causes other than the model under study. Keywords : Actuating, Controlling, Performance, Porprov, Football

Abstract

Children are a big market with great potential. As reported by www.quora.com, for just the clothing market, the children’s market is approximately US$ 173.6 billion dollars. Some studiesrevealed that the market total for children reaches 80 billionUSD annually for 2019. According to Haryanto et al. (2015), the children’s market consists of three simultaneous markets, which are: First, the primary market, where children spend their money to purchase the products they like. Children’s spending is reflected from the data on the pocket money that is given to them by their parents. Data in Indonesia that was surveyed from TotalyAwesome (a child-friendly advertisement and digital content platform) in 2016-2017 showed that for children between the ages of 4 and 14 years old, they receive an average monthly allowance of Rp 550,000. The money is mostly spent for meal (No. 1), drinks (No. 2), toys (No. 3), and snacks and books (No. 4)

Abstract

This community service starts from difficulties of university students in Indonesia to develop start up business. Most of the students make business in food and beverages, although they are not majoring in culinary art, food technology, or other food based major. The problem indicate that students have no good entrepreneurial spirit. To solve the problem, this program will use other method in developing students’ startup business, namely Entrepreneurial Learning Model (ELM). The steps of ELM are: training, education, experience, and mentoring. This model has already run for 6 months (May to October 2019) to 10 groups of students (who make 10 startup business). The results of this program are: (1) students able to develop their startup business; (2) the startup business come from their innovative idea; and (3) students able to maintain their business. Based on the results, it is recommended to use the model on developing students’ startup business.

Abstract

Tujuan studi ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh economic value added (EVA), market value added (MVA), likuiditas dan firm size terhadap harga saham di industri perdagangan bidang retail. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 12 perusahaan selama periode 2012-2016 di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data sekunder yang diambil mengacu laporan keuangan yang dipublikasikan secara tahunan. Tahapan prosesnya melalui analisa deskripsi yang meliputi rata-rata, minimum, maksimum dan standar deviasi. Proses selanjutnya uji asumsi klasik yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, heterokedastisitas, multikolinearitas, autokorelasi dan diestimasikan dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel EVA, MVA dan firm size berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap harga saham, sedangkan likuiditas berkontribusi negatif signifikan. Selanjutnya seluruh variabel bebas mempunyai efek signifikan terhadap variabel terikat. EVA memiliki nilai yang paling tinggi perannya dibanding variabel lainnya. Nilai proporsi yang digambarkan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 85,6% dan sisanya 14,4% yang tidak dijelaskan dalam riset ini.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to improve the quality of life of SEKOPER members to become creativepreneur, which is a form of women's empowerment program for economic emancipation. This is program for gender equality and justice, developing and strengthening women's knowledge and learn poverty alleviation as the social protection programs, which is organized by Gresik Regency Government because many women dropped out of school and un-productive. According to data from the Central Statistics Bureau, the female unemployment in 2019 it increased significantly to 5.92%.To achieve this goal, researchers used a qualitative method, with primary and secondary sources as data collection instruments, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and using the Participatory Rural Appraisal approach. Based on the analyzed data, the research findings that SEKOPER members have succeeded in becoming creativepreneur with : 1) Facilities and policy from Head of village as the Regional Government, 2) Coaching from UMG as a higher education institution that provides innovative healthy food and how to market the products and 3) Sponsorship by Combined Cycle Power Plant (PJB) as their CSR program. The success of developing an innovative healthy food business, it will improve the economy of the family and the region, which is form of economic emancipation. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh Educational Background Board of Directors, Gender Diverse Board of Directors, Ethnically Diverse Board of Directors dan Age Diverse Board of Directors terhadap pengungkapan Sustainability Report dan Nilai Perusahaan pada beberapa perusahaan perbankan pada sub sector perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016-2018. Pengolahan data dalam penulisan tesis ini menggunakan program Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Versi 25.0. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Educational Background Board of Directors, Gender Diverse Board of Directors, Ethnically Diverse Board of Directors dan Age Diverse Board of Directors tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan Sustainability Report dan Nilai Perusahaan sedangkan pengungkapan Sustainability Report berpengaruh pada Nilai Perusahaan.
