Abstract

This study looks into how Generation Z students' language usage has changed on digital communication platforms, particularly Instagram and WhatsApp. The study, which was carried out as a case study at Polytechnic Ganesha Campus 2, Medan, focused on the 32 participants in the fourth semester of class 24M24. The goal of the study is to identify the most common linguistic traits, linguistic deviation patterns, and sociolinguistic elements that affect language style changes in digital environments. Semi-structured interviews and a structured questionnaire were used in addition to direct observation of chat conversations and Instagram captions to obtain data. Code-switching, abbreviation, the use of slang and neologisms, phonological reduction, and the extensive use of emoji and visual symbols as linguistic tools are among the notable changes in language use that Generation Z students display, according to the research. WhatsApp serves as a semi-formal and casual communication tool, but Instagram tends to stimulate more creative and informal vocabulary. The study comes to the conclusion that Generation Z's language behavior is actively shaped and constantly changing by digital platforms, which has consequences for language instruction and academic communication standards.

Abstract

Investment policies in the ASEAN region play an important role in boosting economic growth, enhancing competitiveness, and strengthening regional cooperation among member countries. Investment development in ASEAN has experienced rapid growth due to support from stable economic growth, a large population, and a strategic geographical position. ASEAN countries implement various investment policies such as providing tax incentives, infrastructure development, bureaucratic simplification, and the development of modern industrial sectors to attract both domestic and foreign investors. Although sharing similar goals, each ASEAN country also has differences in policies according to their economic conditions and national development priorities. Singapore focuses more on the technology and financial services sectors, Indonesia on infrastructure and manufacturing, while Vietnam is prominent in the labor-based manufacturing sector. Investment policies It provides a positive impact on economic growth, job creation, technology transfer, and the improvement of human resource quality in the ASEAN region. However, there are several challenges such as global competition, infrastructure disparity, and global economic instability. Therefore, ASEAN countries need to continuously strengthen economic cooperation, improve the quality of regulations, and create economic stability so that investment prospects in the ASEAN region continue to grow and are able to compete at the international level

Abstract

Investasi saham syariah merupakan instrumen keuangan Islam yang berkembang pesat di Indonesia seiring dengan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat Muslim terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mekanisme investasi saham syariah di Pasar Modal Indonesia, mengkaji kerangka regulasi yang mengatur aktivitas tersebut, mendeskripsikan prinsip-prinsip syariah yang melandasi perdagangan efek syariah, serta mengidentifikasi implikasi ekonomi yang ditimbulkan bagi umat Muslim dan perekonomian nasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research) melalui telaah terhadap berbagai sumber literatur ilmiah, fatwa Dewan Syariah Nasional-Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI), regulasi Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), serta laporan resmi lembaga pasar modal terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa investasi saham syariah di Indonesia dioperasikan melalui mekanisme yang terstruktur dan tunduk pada dua lapisan pengawasan, yaitu pengawasan OJK secara kelembagaan dan pengawasan DSN-MUI secara syariah. Saham syariah yang terdaftar dalam Daftar Efek Syariah (DES) memenuhi kriteria khusus terkait jenis usaha, rasio keuangan, serta bebas dari unsur riba, maysir, dan gharar. Mekanisme perdagangan saham syariah berlangsung melalui Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) dan indeks turunannya dengan prinsip transaksi yang bersih dan transparan. Implikasi ekonomi yang dihasilkan meliputi penguatan inklusi keuangan syariah, peningkatan partisipasi investor Muslim, serta kontribusi terhadap pembiayaan sektor riil yang halal dan produktif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya literasi keuangan syariah dan mendorong partisipasi umat Muslim secara optimal di pasar modal Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven a major transformation in modern trading systems, one of which is through the emergence of the concept of Scrapless Trading. This study aims to examine the background, principles, characteristics, processes, benefits, implementation, and impacts of Scrapless Trading on the business world and the economy. The discussion results show that Scrapless Trading emerged as a response to the need for efficiency, speed, and accuracy in increasingly complex transactions in the digital era. This system is supported by technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and real-time data integration that enable trading processes to run automatically and in an organized manner. In terms of principles and characteristics, Scrapless Trading emphasizes automation, data integration, and transparency, with the features primarily the minimal human intervention and the high speed of transaction processes. The mechanism of this system includes stages of data input, automatic verification, transaction execution, up to digital-based monitoring and reporting. Its implementation in the business world has proven to be able to increase operational efficiency, productivity, and quality of service to consumers. In addition, this system also provides various benefits, such as reducing operational costs, increasing data accuracy, transaction transparency, and flexibility in transactions. In the economic context, Scrppless Trading has a positive impact in the form of increased market efficiency, digital economy growth, and expansion of business opportunities, especially for MSME actors. However, there are also challenges that need to be considered, such as technological infrastructure gaps, low digital literacy, as well as data security risks and workforce reduction due to automation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif peran strategis Pemerintah Daerah dalam memberikan perlindungan konsumen di kawasan kuliner Danau Toba, yang telah ditetapkan sebagai Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas (DPSP). Di tengah pergeseran paradigma wisata ke arah gastronomi, kuliner lokal bukan lagi sekadar pelengkap, melainkan pilar identitas budaya yang memerlukan jaminan kepastian hukum. Secara normatif, penelitian ini mengkaji sinkronisasi kebijakan daerah terhadap Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen dan Undang-Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah guna mengevaluasi wewenang Pemda dalam pengawasan pasar. Analisis hukum mengungkapkan bahwa urgensi peran Pemda terletak pada fungsi preventif melalui standarisasi keamanan pangan (food safety) serta fungsi represif terhadap praktik usaha tidak etis, seperti ketidakterbukaan harga (getok harga). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan konsumen yang efektif oleh Pemerintah Daerah merupakan instrumen krusial untuk menjaga kedaulatan konsumen sekaligus reputasi internasional Danau Toba. Melalui penguatan regulasi lokal yang transparan dan akuntabel, Pemerintah Daerah tidak hanya menjamin hak-hak konsumen atas informasi dan keamanan, tetapi juga menciptakan iklim persaingan usaha yang sehat yang mendukung keberlanjutan ekosistem pariwisata berbasis etika hukum.
