Abstract

This research aims to influence macroeconomic variables on economic growth in Indonesia. Economic growth is seen as a development of economic activity which causes goods and services produced in a country to increase. This research method is quantitative research with secondary data in the 2012-2021 observation period. Secondary data collection uses the documentation method for data on reports of total exchange rates, inflation, interest rates and economic growth from BPS, BPPRP and BPKAP, the data collected is analyzed using multiple linear regression using the eviews 9 computer program. Research results show 1) Value Exchange rate from the results of the multiple linear regression test has a negative and significant effect on economic growth during the 2012-2021 period, meaning that every increase in the exchange rate will reduce economic growth by -1.28%. 2) Inflation has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in 2012-2021, increasing economic growth by 3.83%. 3) The BI-7 Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) has no significant effect on economic growth in 2012-2021 and has no impact whatsoever on economic growth. This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility on the reputation of Sharia banking companies in Indonesia and the Islamicity Performance Index on the reputation of Sharia banking companies in Indonesia for the 2019-2022 period. This research is a quantitative study and the data used in this research is secondary data. starting from annual statements and statements about the sustainability of Sharia banks. The sample collection technique uses a purposive sampling method, meaning the sample selection method uses the specified collection method, obtained from 3 Sharia commercial banks which were used as research samples during 2019-2022. Data analysis uses simple Linear Regression Analysis. The research results show that ICSR and IPI disclosures have a positive and significant influence on corporate reputation at Sharia banks in Indonesia. This research contributes to know about the influence of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility on the reputation of Sharia banking companies in Indonesia and the Islamicity Performance Index on the reputation of Sharia banking companies in Indonesia for the 2019-2022 period. Not only that, this research can be a reference for further research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of ROA, ROE, and NPM on the profit growth of cigarette manufacturing companies on the IDX for the period 2014-2021. This study uses the method of analyzing the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable with descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression, assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study partially identified that ROE on profit growth had a significant effect at 2.221 and a p-value of 0.035. ROE on profit growth is not significant and negative at -1.593 and p-value 0.122. While NPM has a significant and positive effect on profit growth at 4.740 and a p-value of 0.000. Net Profit Margin, Return On Assets, and Return On Equity affect profit growth using secondary data from the IDX. PT. Gudang Garam must evaluate the aspects of the profitability ratio, this is proven by ROE which hurts profit growth so that equity is correct so that all assets can be used efficiently so that profits are maximized.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze howresolving problematic financing by restructuring murabahah financing during the Covid-19 pandemic at PT. Bank Sumut (Sharia Business Unit).This research uses a qualitative type of research with a case study approach using data collection techniques through observation and interviews with related parties from Bank Sumut. The results of the research show that the practice of restructuring murabahah financing at Bank Sumut is carried out as an effort to rescue problematic financing. When viewed from POJK, especially POJK 48, the implementation of restructuring shows several important points that banks must pay attention to. Bank Sumut has guidelines for determining debtors affected by COVID-19. Abstract

Competition between banks can lead to various innovations and expansions in the banking sector that ultimately relate to the profitability that will be obtained by banks. Profitability is one of the important indicators commonly used to know the performance of banks in gaining profits in a country in a certain period. This study aims to analyze the influence of competition, shadow banking, and other determinant factors on the profitability of banks in Indonesia. The population studied in this study was conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2014-2019. Sampling in this study using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis methods use multiple regressions. The results of the analysis in this study show that competition and company size has a positive and significant effect on the profitability of banks. Credit risk negatively and significantly affects bank profitability, while shadow banking has a positive but insignificant effect on bank profitability. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the level of competition, ownership of assets, and risk of bad credit greatly affect the profitability of the bank.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether Job Satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of Transformational Leadership and Total Quality Management (TQM) on Employee Performance. This study used a sample of 106 respondents. In this study, data analysis used the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. PLS is a component-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on the results of this study, several conclusions were found: Transformational Leadership (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y); Total Quality Management (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y); Transformational Leadership (X1) does not have significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z); Total Quality Management (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y); Job Satisfaction (Z) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y); Job Satisfaction (Z) could also mediate the relationship between Transformational Leadership (X1) and Total Quality Management (X2) on Employee Performance (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of celebrity endorsers, brand image, and trust in purchasing decisions for Wardah Skincare products in Sami Luwes Surakarta. The research design uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population is consumers who buy and use Wardah Skincare in Sami Luwes Surakarta. The sample is 100 people calculated by the unknown population formula and taken by purposive sampling. Linear regression test, t-test, and coefficient of determination were used to analyze the data. The result is celebrity endorsers, brand image, and trust each have positively and significantly affected the decision to purchase Wardah Skincare products at Sami Luwes Surakarta. Abstract

This research aims to examine the effects of transfer pricing, thin capitalization, firm size, and tax haven country utilization on tax aggressiveness. This study uses manufacturing sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2017 – 2021 period. The total of samples used were 14 manufacturing sector companies for 5 years. This study used multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS 25. The results of this research indicated that transfer pricing and thin capitalization have no effect on tax aggressiveness. While, firm size has a positive and significant effect on tax aggressiveness. Also, tax haven country utilization has negative and significant effect on tax aggressiveness This research have an implication for related parties, especially the Directorate General of Taxes of the Republic of Indonesia and taxpayers in minimizing tax aggressiveness Keywords : Aggressiveness, Transfer Pricing, Capitalization, Firm, Haven, Tax

Abstract

This study analyses the effect of transformational leadership, compensation on employee performance and loyalty on Organizational Citizen Behavior at PT. Yarindo Farmatama, either partially or simultaneously. The methodology used for this study is a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. In this study, the data collection technique is done with the distribution of questionnaires to the PT. Yarindo Farmatama employees. The data type that is used for this study is primary data. The population of this study is all of PT. Yarindo Farmatama's employees, which consists of 273 employees. The sample's withdrawal is made by using probability sampling, with the technique of simple random sampling. There are 56 respondents for the models in this study. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple regression. The result of the study has shown that transformational leadership (X1) and compensation for employee performance (X2) do not have a significant influence on Organizational Citizen Behavior (Y). The value of sig X1 (0.545) and X2 (0.196) is more potent than 0.05. The loyalty of the employees (X3) showed significant influence towards Organizational Citizen Behavior, with the value of sig 0,000, which is smaller than 0,005. However, the variables X1, X2, and X3 have a significant and positive influence on variable Y. The results of the coefficient of determination test obtained an adjusted r-square value of 65.7%. It means that the contribution of the variables X1, X2, and X3 combined has dramatically influenced the Y variable as much as 65.7%. In comparison, the remaining 32.3% is influenced by other factors outside the variables of this study. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of procedural justice, quality of work life, and intrinsic work motivation on organizational citizenship behavior and their impact on the performance of honorary teachers in Pangkalpinang. Research respondents are honorary teachers in the city of Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung as many as 127 people. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. Model development using structural modeling. Data processing using structural equation model (SEM). The results of the study concluded that there was a relationship between procedural justice, quality of work life and intrinsic work motivation with the performance of honorary teachers; further studies also conclude that there is a relationship between procedural justice and quality of work life, and intrinsic work motivation with organizational citizenship behavior; The study also confirms that there is a relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and teacher performance; Organizational citizenship behavior mediates the relationship between work motivation and teacher performance, the results of the analysis conclude that Organizational citizenship behavior can mediate the relationship between work motivation and teacher performance; Organizational citizenship behavior mediates the relationship between procedural justice and teacher performance, the results of the analysis conclude that Organizational citizenship behavior can mediate the relationship between procedural justice and teacher performance;.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of knowing and explaining the influence of Brand Image, Social Media, Lifestyle, and Product Innovation on Consumer Loyalty of iPhone Users in Solo City. The distribution of questionnaires and documentation of iPhone users in the city of Solo who agreed to be respondents was chosen to be the data collection technique in this study. The sample for this study was 125 respondents with convenience sampling. The results of this study are that the variables of Brand Image, Social Media, Lifestyle and Product Innovation together or simultaneously have a significant effect on Consumer Loyalty of iPhone Users in the City of Solo. Partially, each variable, namely Brand Image, Social Media, Lifestyle and Product Innovation, has a significant effect on Consumer Loyalty of iPhone Users in the City of Solo. Overall Variables of Consumer Loyalty Overall the variables of Brand Image, Social Media, Lifestyle and Product Innovation which are explained by the independent variables are 52.20% and the rest are obtained from other variables.
