Abstract

Employee engagement has a very close relationship with the competitive advantage of an organization or company, where this competitive advantage cannot be achieved if there is no employee engagement with the company. Employee engagement is a form of positive employee attitudes towards their work and organization which is characterized by feelings of vigor, dedication and absorption. This study resulted in an ethical climate on employee engagement that had a significant positive effect, the effect of ethical climate on satisfaction was also positive, and satisfaction was able to mediate the relationship between ethical climate and employee engagement on employees of Bank Jatim Syariah Malang City. Abstract

The purpose of this reseasrch was to know what factors influence accounting students in choosing a career to become a public accountant. Factors that influence career choice to become a Public Accountant are assessed by variables of reward/salary, professional training, professional recognition, social values, work environment, labor market considerations, and personality. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to accounting students at Universitan Pawyatan Daha Kediri. The sample used was 90 respondents. Data analysis in this study used multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 23.00. The results of this analysis indicate that simultaneously the factors of reward, professional training, professional recognition, social values, work environment, labor market considerations and personality have a significant influence on career choice to become a public accountant. Partially, professional recognition, labor market considerations and personality have a significant influence on career choice to become a public accountant, financial rewards, professional training, social values and work environment do not have a significant effect on career choice to become a public accountant. Abstract

The purpose of the research entitled ‘Tax Planning, Audit Quality, Audit Opinion, Leverage, and Profitability on Timeless Reporting’ is to find out the effect of Tax Planning, Audit Quality, Audit Opinion, Leverage, and ROA variable on Timeless Reporting. The population and sample used in this research is manufacture company registered in BEI in 2016 – 2018. This sample was 123 manufactures which was chosen by using stratified purposive sampling method. The research data analysis used double linier regression analysis and used SPSS. The result of partial analysis test showed that tax planning and audit quality did not affect toward timeliness reporting, but the audit opinion and leverage which were measured by debt to asset ratio (DAR), and profitability which was measured by return to asset (ROA) were proved affected on timeliness reporting. Simultaneous test result showed dependent variable simultaneously affected on tax avoidance. Keyword: Tax Planning, Audit Quality, Audit Opinion, Leverege, ROA, Timeliness Reporting

Abstract

In the midst of the condition of public transportation in Indonesia, especially in big cities in Indonesia, it has a poor level of service. This is reflected in the inconvenience and inconvenience of passengers when using public transportation as a result of overloaded public transportation, reckless drivers, prone to criminal acts, and many other indicators of the deterioration of public transportation services in Indonesia. Evidence of innovation in the ojek and taxi transportation business is the emergence of online ride-sharing operators by transforming online ojek and taxi services in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the factors that play a role in improving the performance of online drivers. The method used in solving problems using regression analysis. The results showed that the incentive variable had a positive and not significant effect on the performance of Gojek drivers, the motivation variable had a positive and significant effect on the performance of Gojek drivers, gender had a positive and not significant effect in moderating the incentive relationship with the performance of Gojek drivers, and gender had a negative and not significant effect on the performance of Gojek drivers. moderate the relationship between work motivation and the performance of Gojek drivers in Surakarta.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between personality traits and motivation factors that causes herding behavior among individual investors in Indonesia. Personality traits included compliant, aggressive, and detached, while motivation factors used the cognitive ability, social factors, and emotional factors. This study's research method uses an online survey by distributing questionnaires to the stock investor in Indonesia. There were 460 questionnaires collected from the distribution of 1,534 sets of the questionnaire, and there were also 52 sets of the questionnaire are incompleted—the collected sets of data analyzed by using multiple regression. This study indicates that a compliant and aggressive personality has a significant positive effect on herding behavior. Meanwhile, a detached personality has a significant negative effect on herding behavior. Apart from that, the motivational factors that comprise cognitive ability, social factors, and emotional factors also significantly affected herding behavior.

Abstract

Student achievement is very important to improve the quality of human resources. Each student's academic performance is different even in the same situation. Many factors influence students in their academic achievement. Academic achievement is a result achieved by students in the learning process at a certain time. This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, learning discipline, teacher competence and parental support on student academic achievement. This research used quantitative descriptive with a sample of 90 students of the Gama English Course Sukoharjo. The sampling technique used was survey sampling with data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis and was processed with SPSS 23. The determinant coefficient of the research results showed that motivation, learning discipline, teacher competence and parental support could explain the student's academic achievement by 62.3%. The results of the study concluded that there was a positive effect of teacher motivation and competence on student academic achievement, but learning discipline and parental support had a negative effect on student academic achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the effect of both simultaneously and partially on motivation, leadership and job training on the performance of STIE Trisna Negara staff and lecturers. This study used a quantitative descriptive research design. The population is 74 lecturers and staff, STIE Trisna Negara. The total sample is 44 respondents. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling method. The questionnaire was used to collect data. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis. The results showed that the F test of motivation, leadership and job training simultaneously and significantly affected the performance of lecturers and employees of STIE Trisna Negara. The results of the t test indicate that motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers and employees of STIE Trisna Negara. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers and staff of STIE Trisna Negara. Training has a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers and staff of STIE Trisna Negara. The results of the coefficient of determination show that motivation, leadership and training have an effect of 59.1% on the performance variables of STIE Trisna Negara lecturers and staff. The most dominant influence on the performance of lecturers and staff of STIE Trisna Negara is the leadership variable because it has the highest t-count value, namely 3.305. Abstract

In recent years, the development of the health insurance business, in recent years since 2019 in Indonesia has decreased, including one insurance company X. The company closed several branches in several cities in Indonesia. Many employees are forced to take early retirement decisions and resign, but on the other hand, potential employees are still needed to become branch heads. Several branch heads who have retired must be replaced with new ones, therefore, the company needs to carry out several strategies to get new branch head candidates. This study aims to explain a process of mapping the head of an insurance company branch carried out by the human resources division. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Informants in this study were prospective branch heads, consultants, and the human resources team. From the results of this study, the mapping system carried out by the Human Resources Division in mapping is quite effective. The selection of test tools and dimensions of managerial competence used for prospective branch heads is quite by the profile and branch leadership needs. This research can improve the mapping skills of branch heads of similar insurance companies and contribute knowledge of human resource management for insurance companies and other similar companies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the company value of companies engaged in property on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with financial ratios. The population in this study are all companies engaged in the property sector, which are already listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange . The sample used was 37 property companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2019. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. This study used secondary data, an analysis tool with Multiple Linear Regression. Financial analysis using profitability ratios as measured by return on asset, liquidity ratio by Cash Ratio, Solvency ratio by debt ratio, while the company value using Toben's Q. Results hypothesis testing proved that the profitability ratio and solvency ratio showed positive and significant effect to company value . The liquidity ratio shows negative and insignificant effect to company value . The results of the F test prove that the profitability ratio, liquidity ratio and solvency ratio together have a significant effect to company value. The test results of determination prove that the overall impact that the independent variable on the dependent variable of 17.1% while the remaining 82.9 % is influenced by variables or other models that are not included in this study

Abstract

Companies must be able to compete, so it requires quality human resources (HR) and technology in the form of applications implemented by the company that can assist in achieving the company's vision and mission. This research aims to analyze the influence of the quality of human resources and the Millennium Pharmacon International (SIMPI) Information System Application on the Performance of PT. Millenium Pharmacon International Tbk. This study uses a quantitative approach, where the population and research sample of all employees of PT. Millenium Pharmacon International Tbk. Surabaya branch as many as 85 people. The incoming data is processed and analyzed using the SPSS-26 program. The results of this study the quality of human resources has a positive but insignificant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Millenium Pharmacon International Tbk, SIMPI has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance of PT. Millenium Pharmacon International Tbk, and the quality of HR and SIMPI simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Millenium Pharmacon International Tbk.
