Abstract

Head injury is a type of trauma that is commonly found in emergency departements, this is evidence by the large number of deaths resulting from the incidence of head injuries. if the patient survives and they will have physiological or anatomical disorders that affect to the quality of life. The purpose of this literature study is to find out the quality of life of patients after suffering a head injury. The method used is a literature study obtained from scientific reseach article that searches in accordance with the inclusion criteria, start from 2015 up to 2019 using Google Scholar,Science Direct, and Pubmed. The keyword used are Quality of life, Head Injury. Based on 7 research articles, it was found that 6 out 7 articles stated that there was a decrease in quality of life in post-injury patients with duration of 3, 6, and 12 months, evaluation quality of life the domain of assessment of quality of life that experienced the most decrease was in the physical, psychological, social and cognitive domains, 1 research article stated that there was increase in quality of life after head injury. Based on result there was a decrease in quality of life in post-injury patients

Abstract

Excessive usage of gadgets can lead to addiction for school-age children, which has some impacts on the child's physical and psychosocial development. This study aims to describe the dependence of gadgets on school-age children. This study used a descriptive design. The sample of this study was 30 respondents who were taken by non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The measuring instrument of this study was the Smartphone Addiction Scale Short Version (SAS-SAV) questionnaire. Data analysis used simple descriptive. Most of respondents were 11 years old (66.7%), boy (70%), first-born (36.7%), fifth grade (70.0%), application used was games (83.3%), usage time of gadget was 1-2 hours (36.7%) and the owner of gadget for respondents was their parents (63.3%). The results of this study indicate that more than half of the respondents who are addicted to gadgets are 53.3%. This study recommends to community, especially families, to be able to monitor their children in the usage of gadget and can prevent gadget addiction in school-age children.

Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome is the most common disorder experienced by women of childbearing age. There are various factors that can worsen the degree of premenstrual syndrome, including stress levels, sleep quality, nutritional status, smoking and alcohol. Various limitations during the distance learning process in the period of Covid-19 pandemic increased the academic stress and bad sleep quality of the students. This study aims to determine the relationship of academic stress and sleep quality to the degree of premenstrual syndrome in the Undergraduate Nursing students of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta during the distance learning process in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used Cross sectional research design with a sample number of 160 respondents through Stratified Random Sampling method. Data collection is done through google form’s questionnaire using Student-Life Stress Inventory (SLSI), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and The Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form (SPAF) that have undergone the validity and reliability test. The result showed that there was a significant relationship between academic stress (p-value 0.000) and sleep quality (p-value 0.000) to the degree of premenstrual syndrome. This study recommends that students be able to manage and control academic stress conditions and sleep quality well to reduce the risk of premenstrual syndrome.

Abstract

The world is having the same problem, Covid-19, it is signed by morbidity and mortality caused by Covid-19. The need of learning process should be done by paying attention onon effectivity and efficiency to reach the optimal result. The blended Learning method become the solution for answering the need of learning process, especially for the nurse. This learning process combines Online and ofline learning so the need of learning can be fulfilled without disregard our government program in decreasing the new cases of Covid 19.This research goals is to identifiy the Blended learning training effectivity to increase the result of the learning proses basic operating room. The research design is using pre experimentusung one group Pre Test and Post Test.The research sample is 50 nurses in basic operating room in Dinas Kesehatan DKI Jakarta by using Total sampling Technique. The research is done in August - September 2021 at Pusat pelatihan Central Java. The Training program is done for 4 days equal as 40 JPL (Online and Ofline).The Research Instrument is using Knowledge Questionaire developed by HIPKABI Jakarta. The Data analysis is useing N Gain Score. The rrsearch result showed quite effective in increasing the result of learning process about basic operating room with the N gain score = 71,812%. The Learning Method became a consideration in The research process. We hope the lack in accessing internet can be minimized. The advantage that we can get is cost eficiency and time and also the result of optimum learning process.

Abstract

Maternal self-efficacy is part of the concept of self-efficacy which is the mother's belief in her Maternal self-efficacy is part of the concept of self-efficacy which is the mother's belief in her ability to carry out her role as a parent, one of which can be influenced by social support. Social support arises because of interactions with other people who make a person feel cared for and appreciated, if social support is not obtained by postpartum mothers, the possibility of mothers experiencing postpartum depression will increase. The crisis period in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic raises concerns, especially for postpartum mothers because of limited access to formal and informal support which will increase maternal mental health problems. The research design used was cross sectional. The population of this study, namely all postpartum mothers in the Pejuang Health Center Work Area, Bekasi City, amounted to 132 people and obtained a total sample of 116 respondents through a sampling technique, namely accidental sampling. Data analysis used chi-square at 95% confidence level. The results of this study showed a significant relationship between social support and MSE (p = 0.038). It is hoped that health services can increase their participation in providing counseling based on family support for postpartum mothers by including the family to have a positive effect on the bond between mother and baby.

Abstract

The transition in education from elementary school to junior high school is a difficult process for teenagers and requires adjustment. The process of adapting to teenagers is becoming increasingly difficult because they are currently faced with the Covid 19 pandemic. The complexity of the developmental task is a stressor for teenagers who are first year students in Junior High School. Self-adjustment is important in order to be able to align the needs of oneself and the situation outside of adolescents in order to get a better relationship between themselves and their environment. The failure of adolescents to make adjustments will cause problems such as irresponsible behavior and neglect of lessons, aggressive attitudes and withdrawing from association with peers. Based on this review, it is necessary to conduct a screening regarding the adjustment of adolescents in first year junior high school students during the Covid 19 pandemic. The research design method used descriptive quantitative. The sample in the study amounted to 81 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distributed via a google form link. Data analysis used univariate to describe the characteristics of respondents and students' self-adjustment. Data were analyzed with categorization scoring guidelines using frequency and percentage distributions. The results showed that 40.74% had sufficient adjustment and 59.26% had less adjustment. Efforts are needed to improve adolescent adjustment to prevent problems in adolescents.

Abstract

Stroke can affect balance. Balance is the ability to maintain the body in a balanced position both in static and dynamic conditions. However, the assessment of the existing balance is only done in a static state in stroke patients. The balance assessment describes the balance of stroke patients so that they can be written on asessment form and the transfer record and can determine the need for balance training as one of the rehabilitation of stroke patients. This EBN application aims to find out the use of Berg Balance Scale to assess the balance of both static and dynamic conditions in stroke patients. The method used is conducting PICO analysis, searching database, critical appraisal, and determining relevant journals. EBN implementation was carried out on 10 people who had a stroke in zone A on the 5th floor of Building A RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo. This study uses the Berg Balance Scale scale in Indonesian. The analysis showed that stroke patients who experienced balance disorders were 7 people and did not experience a balance of 3 people BBS can assess the balance of stroke patients in accordance with existing evidence. BBS can be used as a balance assessment in stroke patients.

Abstract

Knowledge is an important factor for pregnant women to be able to adapt to physiological and psychological changes during pregnancy. Failure to adapt causes several health problems for pregnant women, one of which is bleeding. Bleeding events can be prevented by obediently carrying out antenatal visits. To determine the relationship between respondent’s characteristics and knowledge of signs of bleeding during pregnancy with antenatal visit compliance in third trimester pregnant women. Quantitative research with a cross sectional approach and purposive sampling technique on 30 third trimester pregnant women, in October-November 2020. Using a questionnaire and data analysis using Chi-Square. Characteristics of respondents aged 20-35 years (93.3%), primigravida (56.7%), secondary education (60%), less knowledgeable (60%), obedient to antenatal visits (76.7%). The p-value=1,000. There is no significant relationship between the knowledge of third trimester pregnant women about signs of bleeding during pregnancy and compliance with antenatal visits at the Cipayung District Health Center, East Jakarta. Nurses have a duty to provide counseling regarding the compliance of third trimester pregnant women in antenatal visits to prevent the risk of bleeding.
