Abstract

Employees are an important company asset who have quality work competencies to provide the best performance to support company programs. In practice, the Human Capital (HC) team has a competency improvement program that requires motivation from employees as an internal factor so that the program can run effectively. Work motivation is affected by a variety of factors such as salary, work environment, job security, relationships with coworkers, awards, and so on. This influences whether an employee is satisfied with his or her job. The proportionate stratified random sampling approach was utilized, which is a sampling methodology for populations with mixed or variable features, and the data in this study uses a quantitative approach. The population is millennial employees at PT XYZ with a total of 139 millennial employees. The data was collected by distributing a questionnaire with 28 closed questions and response options indicating how strongly respondents agreed or disagreed with the questions posed. The results show it is possible to conclude that the millennial employees at PT XYZ have a level of job satisfaction that is influenced by work environment factors, innovation, and career development factors that can mediate changes in the level of job satisfaction. This finding could be an overview of benchmarks for management in departments, so that job satisfaction obtained by employees does not become a saturation point but becomes a driving force to improve their performance in this company continuously.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, export-import, interest rates on sales in state-owned pharmaceutical holding companies with moderating variables of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The type of research used is quantitative with primary and secondary data sources related to inflation, export-import, interest rates, GDP and sales. The data used is a combination of time series data for 2018-2022 and cross-section which is then referred to as panel data. The study was also conducted in more depth using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire with respondents as many as six people who had positions as department heads in the parent company of Pharmaceutical SOEs. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis and Moderating Regression Analysis. The results showed that simultaneously the variables of inflation, export-import and interest rates had a positive and significant effect on sales. Meanwhile, the moderation variable, namely GDP, partially affects sales, but cannot moderate the influence of inflation and export-import both in terms of strengthening and weakening the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Other research results show GDP can be a pure moderator of the influence of interest rates on sales. This research has limitations, namely the variables used are macro, therefore for future research it is expected to be able to conduct research using micro variables in the economy. Keywords: Inflation, Export-Import, Interest Rate, GDP, Sales and Holding Company of SOEs.

Abstract

Based on the inbound country in the last five years, Timor Leste is in the top position for tourists entering Indonesia. Meanwhile, Malaysia, the neighboring country with the largest number of Muslims, occupies the second position. This condition is not necessarily due to Indonesia's potential to attract Muslims as a Halal Tourism destination. Aligned with the condition, based on BPS data & the Ministry of Tourism, in 2019 there were more than 15 million tourists coming to Indonesia, 22% of whom were Muslims. This number is less than Muslim tourists who come to neighboring countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Turkey. Therefore, in this study will be examined regarding Motivation and Intentions to Travel, especially for prospective Malaysian tourists to Indonesia. The independent variables in this study are Pull Factor Motivation (X1), Push Factor Motivation (X2) and Religiosity (X3). Religiosity (X3) is also a moderating variable in its effect on the motivation of Malaysian tourists to Indonesia. The dependent variable in this study is the Motivation of Malaysian Tourists (Y), which can be measured by various dimensions in the instrument of Indonesia as a tourist destination. The research results show that the push and pull factor do not have a direct influence on the motivation of Malaysian tourists but has an indirect effect on religiosity as a moderate variable. The religiosity variable with indicators of religious beliefs, principles and activities directly influences the motivation of Malaysian tourists to Indonesia. Based on the research result, religiosity influences the motivation of Malaysian tourists to come to Indonesia. For this reason, the Government needs to consider aspects of religiosity in the promotion strategy and services for foreign tourists, especially Malaysian tourists.

Abstract

Abstract The pandemic of COVID-19 disrupted supply chain systems, with long-term consequences. This study examines the impact of Covid-19 disruption, resilience, and adaptation strategies on the company's supply chain performance (SCP). The research is a case study conducted sequentially with a qualitative and quantitative approach at PT XX, a pharmaceutical company in Indonesia, under interviews and document analysis. The techniques and analytical tools used in this study are multiple linear regression using Minitab, which included t-test, F regression, R-square analysis, and moderation regression analysis to measure the relationship between variables. The study's findings indicate that the Covid-19 disruption has had a negative impact on SCP. However, the SCR, SCRM, SCI, and SCE are all components of resilience that positively influence SCP. This research also shows that adaptation strategies such as intertwining, substitution, and repurposing improve the SCP. As a result, to achieve long-term supply chain performance and sustainability, companies should focus on integrating business operations, resilience, and adaptation strategies to deal with the consequences of major disruptions. Improvements in several resilience parameters and the implementation of several adaptation strategies are required to accelerate recovery and enhance supply chain performance. Keyword: disruption, resilience, adaptation strategy, and supply chain performance (SCP)

Abstract

Absorption capacity is a variable that has been proven to influence the effectiveness of transfer technology in previous studies. Few of these studies examined this variable in the vaccine industry sector. This research is an empirical study to see the effect of absorption and each of its constituent dimensions (the ability to recognize, the ability to acquire, the ability to assimilate, and the ability to apply) to technology transfer effectiveness carried out in vaccine companies. The research approach is proportional stratified random sampling, where the data is processed statistically quantitatively. Research data were collected by distributing questionnaires containing 43 questions to 114 respondents from employees with strategic position levels in the vaccine companies studied. Quantitative statistical methods with SPSS software were used to analyze the research data, including regression analysis, Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis, and impact analysis. The results showed that the level of absorption capacity of the vaccine companies studied had a statistically significant positive effect on the technology transfer's effectiveness. Each dimension of absorptive capacity is separately proven to have a statistically significant positive impact on the effectiveness of technology transfer in the order from which it gives the most significant influence, namely the ability to apply, the ability to assimilate, the ability to recognize, and the ability to acquire. The findings in this study can be used as a reference by company stakeholders as a basis for maintaining and increasing their absorption capacity based on the order of magnitude of influence from each dimension studied to increase the effectiveness of technology transfer in the future.
