Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Government Sharia Securities (SBSN) and Government Debt Securities (SUN) on Indonesia's economic growth as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP). A quantitative approach with a positivistic paradigm is used in this study, with quarterly data from 2015 to 2024 processed using the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique. The results of the study indicate that SBSN has a positive and significant effect on GDP, indicating that increasing SBSN issuance can drive Indonesia's economic growth. On the other hand, SUN does not show a significant effect on GDP, indicating that the use of SUN is more widely used for short-term and consumptive financing, not for financing productive projects that can increase national output. These findings provide theoretical contributions related to the role of state financing instruments in the economy and suggest that SBSN issuance policies need to be maximized to support sustainable development. In addition, evaluation of the use of SUN is also needed to direct more productive fund allocations, in order to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Digital transformation has driven the recruitment and selection process to shift to online systems to improve efficiency and candidate reach. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and relevance of online systems in recruiting interns at PT. X Pulp and Paper Riau and their impact on employee performance. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with case study methods through perspectives of Sociotechnical System (STS), Transaction Cost Economics (TCE), and Resource-Based View (RBV). The results indicate that online systems effectively improve operational efficiency through reduced transaction costs and accelerated recruitment processes. However, the online system still has limitations in assessing certain aspects such as physical condition and candidate honesty. Nevertheless, the performance of the intern employees remains high, with 90% of participants rated good. This high performance reinforces the RBV principle, as the technology relevance gap is compensated by a strict offline evaluation system during internships. This finding indicates that operational effectiveness is achieved, while technology relevance limitations are offset through comprehensive offline assessments during the internship program.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the insurance industry requires organizations not only to adopt technology but also to ensure that their human resources are ready to utilize it optimally. However, in practice, the claims process still often experiences delays, impacting service quality and customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the role of human resource digital skills in accelerating the claims process at insurance Broker companies in Indonesia, employing a qualitative approach through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The data were collected from scientific articles and institutional publications obtained through Google Scholar and credible websites between 2022 and 2026. From the initial 50 identified articles, a rigorous selection process was conducted based on relevance and methodological quality to examine the role of digital skills in improving operational efficiency, communication quality, and the accuracy of information management in the claims process. The findings indicate that digital skills play an important role in enhancing work process efficiency, strengthening digital communication, improving the accuracy of information management, and accelerating coordination among parties involved in the claims process. Based on the perspective of Resource-Based Theory (RBT) and the VRIO framework, digital skills can be categorized as strategic resources that are valuable, relatively rare, difficult to imitate (inimitable), and require organizational support (organized), thereby creating sustainable competitive advantage. This research provides theoretical contributions by integrating the concepts of digital skills and RBT within the context of insurance Broker companies, as well as practical implications for the development of digital-based human resource strategies.

Abstract

Based on global retail industry developments in recent years, the fast-fashion industry occupies the top position in attracting consumer buying interest in Indonesia. Meanwhile, ZARA, as one of the leading global brands, holds an important position in market competition within major cities like Surabaya. However, intense competition does not necessarily guarantee instant customer loyalty without adaptive marketing strategy management. Aligned with these conditions, although clothing consumption volume continues to rise, the phenomenon of consumer behavior shifting from traditional channels towards multi-channel integration and demands for brand originality pose real challenges. Therefore, this study examines the determinants of customer loyalty, particularly among consumers of the fast-fashion brand ZARA in Surabaya. The independent variables in this study are Product Quality, Brand Authenticity, and Omni-Channel Strategy. Customer Satisfaction is positioned as a dependent variable as well as a mediating variable that links product quality, brand authenticity, and multi-channel strategies to Customer Loyalty as the ultimate measurement of consumer behavior. Primary data collection was conducted via a survey method using Google Forms with a purposive sampling technique, yielding a sample of 155 respondents. Statistical data analysis to test the hypotheses applied Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) using WarpPLS 7.0 software. The research results indicate that all formulated hypotheses are supported with positive and significant direct effects. Specifically, product quality, brand authenticity, and omni-channel strategy each exert a positive and significant direct effect on both customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction also exhibits a positive and significant direct effect on customer loyalty, while successfully serving as a crucial mediating variable that channels the indirect influences of product quality, brand authenticity, and omni-channel strategy toward customer loyalty. Based on the research results, customer satisfaction plays a crucial role in maintaining fast-fashion consumer loyalty. For this reason, ZARA's retail management needs to continuously consider aspects of brand identity authenticity and the consistency of physical-digital integration (omni-channel strategy) when designing promotion and service strategies to secure future customer retention.
