Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to develop an online-based history learning assessment design that meets high standards in terms of accessibility, completeness of assessment components, and visual appearance, and (2) to develop an online-based history learning assessment design with a high level of effectiveness in measuring students' critical and analytical thinking skills. This study employs an experimental method, with data collection conducted through questionnaires, interviews, and observations involving history teachers and eleventh-grade social science students at SMAN 1 Yogyakarta, SMAN 1 Godean, and SMAN 1 Bantul. The data analysis employs parametric statistics and an independent t-test to compare the experimental and control groups, determining the effectiveness level of the assessment design. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The developed online-based history learning assessment design has demonstrated high standards of accessibility, with a score of 19.21 and an achievement rate of 90%; completeness of assessment components, with a score of 18.11 and an achievement rate of 91.67%; and visual appearance, with a score of 17.66 and an achievement rate of 91.67%. (2) The developed online-based history learning assessment design has been proven effective, as indicated by a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, confirming its effectiveness in measuring students' critical and analytical thinking skills. This effectiveness is further supported by improvements across six critical and analytical thinking indicators, which were higher in the experimental group than in the control group. These findings suggest that the proposed assessment design is viable and suitable for assessing students' critical and analytical thinking skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah (1) menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran sejarah berbantuan Instagram ‘Bojonegorohistories’, dan (2) menguji efektivitas ‘Bojonegorohistories’ untuk pembelajaran sejarah kelas X-8 di SMAN 4 Bojonegoro. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development model ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan. Pada tahap analyze dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen wawancara, observasi dan pengisian angket untuk memperoleh data awal. Tahap kedua yaitu design yang merupakan kegiatan perancangan pada media yang akan dikembangkan. Dilanjutkan dengan tahap develop yang merupakan tahapan untuk mewujudkan media yang sebelumnya telah dirancang. Pada tahap ini juga dilakukan penilaian kelayakan pada media dengan cara validasi pada ahli materi dan ahli media. Keempat yaitu implement yang merupakan kegiatan pengimplementasian media pada pembelajaran sejarah dengan subjeknya siswa kelas X-8 SMAN 4 Bojonegoro yang dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling. Kelima adalah tahap evaluate yaitu melakukan evaluasi pada media berdasarkan hasil analisis penilaian siswa pada uji kelompok kecil dan uji lapangan. Pengembangan ini menghasilkan dua jenis data yaitu (1) data kuantitatif yang berasal dari skor validasi dan skor keefektifan media melalui penyebaran angket, dan (2) data kualitatif yang didapatkan dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan saran dari validator dan siswa. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis. Data kuantitatif yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pada penilaian uji validasi materi, multimedia ‘Bojonegorohistories’ mendapatkan skor 95% sedangkan uji validasi media mendapatkan 92,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Selanjutnya pada uji kelompok kecil mendapatkan skor 95,2% sedangkan pada uji lapangan memperoleh skor sebesar 96,4% dengan kriteria sangat efektif. Dampak yang didapatkan dari pengembangan multimedia ‘Bojonegorohistories’ yaitu meningkatkannya pemahaman siswa pada materi sejarah lokal Bojonegoro yaitu peran Mbah Menak Anggrung dalam penyebaran agama Islam di Bojonegoro.Kata Kunci: Multimedia; Instagram; Bojonegorohistories, Mbah Menak.Anggrung

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the implementation of the Jogja Library Center Tour history learning model to actualize historical literacy and analyze its implications for improving historical thinking skills. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques were carried out comprehensively through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The sampling technique employed purposive sampling with several subjects, including the Vice Principal for Curriculum, history teachers, and student representatives from grades XI and XII at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. Data validity and reliability were obtained through data triangulation techniques and analyzed using the model promoted by Cresswell. The findings of this study indicate that the Jogja Library Center Tour is capable of representing an effort to improve the historical literacy of students at State Senior High School 9 Yogyakarta. In this context, the Jogja Library Center Tour model not only provides comprehensive understanding to students but also contributes to the success of the school's literacy program. The success of the Jogja Library Center Tour has implications for fostering historical thinking skills, such as chronological thinking, historical comprehension, historical analysis and interpretation, and historical research capabilities. The results of this study are beneficial as a reference for history teachers in the context of developing historical literacy and enhancing historical thinking skills to address challenges faced in school literacy programs in an enjoyable, interactive, and meaningful way.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan homeschooling di Indonesia melalui lima aspek utama, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, dan evaluasi kebijakan. Kajian ini berupaya untuk menilai sejauh mana kebijakan homeschooling telah berjalan efektif, adil, dan berkelanjutan dalam sistem pendidikan nonformal. Metode yang digunakan ialah studi literatur (literature review) dengan menelaah sumber ilmiah, dokumen kebijakan, serta hasil penelitian relevan pada periode 2015–2025. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan content analysis dan thematic review guna mengidentifikasi pola kebijakan, kesenjangan implementasi, serta praktik terbaik dalam penyelenggaraan homeschooling. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan homeschooling memiliki dasar hukum yang kuat melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 dan Permendikbud Nomor 129 Tahun 2014. Dari aspek analisis kebutuhan, kebijakan ini lahir sebagai respons terhadap tuntutan masyarakat akan pendidikan yang lebih fleksibel dan personal. Dalam perencanaan, pemerintah telah merancang kurikulum adaptif dan sistem asesmen kesetaraan, namun dalam kenyataannya saat ini masih menghadapi beberapa kendala dalam pemerataan sumber daya dan integrasi data nasional. Pada pelaksanaan, terdapat sinergi antara pemerintah, PKBM, tutor, dan orang tua, meski hambatan berupa diskriminasi akses ke perguruan tinggi serta keterbatasan dukungan pembiayaan masih terjadi. Proses monitoring berjalan secara administratif namun belum menyentuh kualitas pembelajaran. Evaluasi menunjukkan homeschooling efektif dalam membentuk karakter dan kemandirian peserta didik, tetapi membutuhkan penguatan pelatihan bagi orang tua serta sistem pengawasan berbasis data. Secara keseluruhan, homeschooling merupakan kebijakan pendidikan alternatif yang relevan, namun memerlukan peningkatan aspek akuntabilitas, kesetaraan, dan keberlanjutan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials in the form of the E-Mocari (E-Modul Candi Arimbi) based on Canva. In addition, this research also aims to determine the validity and effectiveness of the product. The research method used in this study is a research and development (R&D) method with a procedural model from Sugiyono, which consists of 10 stages. This product is designed as a learning resource for history that enhances understanding of the importance of studying the history of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia, particularly regarding Candi Arimbi. E-Mocari contains material on Candi Arimbi, an infographic of the statue of Goddess Parwati, which can be accessed through a QR Code, as well as learning evaluations and answer keys. Students can access E-Mocari through smartphones or laptops both online and offline. E-Mocari can also be shared by downloading the .pdf file format, which makes it easy to access. Based on the results of the data analysis in the expert validation stage, the material expert achieved a percentage of 98.00% with a very valid criterion. The validation results from the instructional materials expert obtained a percentage of 79.00% with a valid criterion. The feasibility test of the product in a small group yielded a result of 83.00% with a very effective criterion. The feasibility test of the product in a large group obtained a percentage of 88.00% with a very effective criterion. Thus, it can be concluded that based on the results of validation by subject matter experts, instructional material experts, and trials with students, the E-Mocari developed in this research is declared very valid and highly effective for use as teaching material in the history lessons of class X-9 at SMA PGRI 1 Jombang.

Abstract

Abstract: The Chronicle of Sumatra History by William Marsden is one of the historical sources that is included in the primary sources in the form of notes that can be used as a source for learning history. This study aims to determine and analyze the chronicle of the History of Sumatra by William Marsden which is used to enrich the history learning sources for high school students, as well as to determine the relevance of the use of the chronicle of the History of Sumatra by William Marsden with the Merdeka Curriculum. This study uses a descriptive analytical method with a qualitative approach. In writing, the researcher used several books and journals that were relevant and in accordance with the topic of discussion written. The results and discussion of this study, the chronicle of the History of Sumatra is a note from William Marsden and was later published as a book. The chronicle presents various information about the history of Sumatra as well as the geographical conditions, natural resources, social, cultural, political, and government of the Sumatran people in the 18th century, which helps students understand the diversity of Indonesian culture. The Chronicle of the History of Sumatra also has relevance to the Merdeka Curriculum phase F. This book can fulfill the elements of the CP history phase F, including being relevant to the material on the history of colonialism and imperialism in Indonesia, developing historical literacy and historical research. This book can also help students develop historical thinking and use primary sources of history, as well as provide reinforcement of nationalism over the richness and diversity of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

Modernization influences the quality of the younger generation in their actions and behavior. The loss of Generation Z’s awareness of their cultural heritage has become an important concern that requires proper solutions. Historical values contained in every cultural heritage site must continue to be preserved to maintain their sustainability. In the era of revolution, developments in information and technology are advancing rapidly. One example is a social media platform called TikTok. The TikTok application has been downloaded by millions of users from various countries. TikTok provides diverse video features that are easily accessible to anyone. Therefore, educational content is needed to stimulate curiosity among the younger generation. In fact, the current habit of the younger generation is scrolling through TikTok and other social media platforms. The presence of educational historical content, such as cultural heritage, can help improve Generation Z’s knowledge and encourage their participation in preserving cultural heritage. Indonesia has various historical sites that have been recognized by UNESCO. This study takes the Mantyasih Inscription located in the Magelang City area as the research object.
