Abstract

The development of technology in the era of society 5.0 has given rise to new innovations in the form of advanced technology, one of which is artificial intelligence (AI). The presence of Artificial Intelligence makes it easier to assist human tasks in various activities, including the world of education. In this case, education is required to adapt learning needs to the development of the times. Therefore, the use of Artificial Intelligence in learning, especially local history learning, is an opportunity to improve the quality of learning to be more optimal. The purpose of this study is to develop media in local history learning, namely an Artificial Intelligence-based historical film about the resistance of Tuanku Tambusai and encourage the use of technology as a learning innovation in line with the 5.0 era. This study uses the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The research subjects were 36 students in class XI 3 of SMAN 19 Pekanbaru. The data sources were obtained from interviews and questionnaires. This study used qualitative descriptive techniques to analyze interview information and quantitative analysis techniques to process the data in the questionnaire. Validation carried out showed that the assessment from material experts reached 85%, while from media experts obtained 95%. These results confirm that both are in the very feasible category. In the pilot phase, the small group scored 84%, while the large group achieved 95%, and both were rated in the same category: very appropriate. Therefore, this AI-based historical film is suitable for implementation in schools. AI-based historical films can help students develop a better understanding of history through meaningful and visual learning experiences and foster pride in the struggles of local figures, particularly Tuanku Tambusai.

Abstract

Globalisasi melahirkan sebuah paradigma baru bagi kehidupan manusia yang menimbulkan sisi negatif dan positif. Kebanyakan dari mereka terjebak ke dalam sisi negatif dari adanya globalisasi tersebut. Paradigma negatif tersebut adalah liberalisme, sekularisme, individualisme, materialisme, hedonisme yang mengakibatkan manusia jauh dari ruh agama dan norma. Akhirnya, ia mengalami kekeringan krisis spiritual dan moral yang berdampak kepada kehidupannya secara sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pemikiran Thomas Aquinas, yang merupakan tokoh filsafat realisme yang masyhur tentang pendidikan spiritual dan moral sebagai solusi terhadap problem masyarakat era disrupsi dan relevansinya dengan pendidikan Islam. Pendidikan spiritual Aquinas ialah sebuah proses untuk mendidik manusia mengenal Tuhannya dengan mengoptimalisasikan akalnya melalui pemaknaan darilima jalan yang ditawarkan Aquinas. Kemudian, pendidikan moral Aquinas adalah proses membentuk prilaku yang sesuai dengan petunjuk Tuhan sebagai upaya meraih kebahagiaan sejati dengan senantiasa menekankan pada tindakan yang sesuai norma Tuhan. Relevansi pendidikan spiritual dan moral Aquinas dengan pendidikan Islam adalah bahwa pendidikan Islam juga sebagai sebuah proses untuk mendidik manusia menjadi pribadi yang taat kepada Allah dan pribadi yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai moral bagi kehidupan sosialnya. Aspek spiritual dan moral menjadi prioritas dalam pendidikan Islam di samping aspek pengetahuan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the implementation of the "Kurikulum Merdeka" (Independent Curriculum) in the history subject at SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri Dau in Malang Regency. Purposive sampling is the qualitative research methodology used to select informants who have relevant knowledge and experience. Interviews and observations are utilized to gather data, which is then evaluated using source and method triangulation. The research findings indicate that SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri has been teaching history using the Kurikulum Merdeka since the 2022/2023 academic year. The implementation is being carried out gradually, starting from grade X and will be applied to grade XI in the following academic year. The school has chosen the option of autonomous implementation, with four driving teachers assigned to facilitate a community of learning among the teachers at the school. These findings can provide input for the school and the government in enhancing the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at a broader educational level. Furthermore, this research also provides further insights into the challenges and impacts of adopting an autonomous curriculum in the topic of History at SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri.

Abstract

The digital ecosystem is a state that cannot be separated from today's life, including the world of education. History students must have digital literacy skills and habits. Field trips are one of the methods of learning history in getting used to digital literacy. So, the purpose of this study is to describe the field trip of students of the history of Islamic civilization; and analyze field trips in shaping digital literacy habituation of Islamic Civilization History students of UIN Salatiga. The method in this study is field research with a critical historical approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, documentation, and triangulation. The results of this study show that field trips are carried out in temples of the Ancient Mataram Kingdom, Magelang, and Yogyakarta areas. Digital literacy habituation is carried out by assigning information searches through students' smartphones. The results of these activities were then cross-checked in the field with interviews with guides and field observations. Digital literacy habituation is also formed by the activity of taking photos of the objects visited. The data from documentation, interviews, and observations of the temples were then analyzed using a critical historical approach (heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography). Students then make a short article that is uploaded on Instagram. So the results of digital literacy habituation from field trip activities in the form of digital skills, digital ethics, digital security, and digital culture are owned by students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an oral history-based SEKUL (Sejarah Keluarga) Learning Model in improving the social-emotional competence of SMA Negeri 4 Malang students. The problem identified is the limited attention of history learning to the development of empathy, social awareness, and relational skills of students. The research used the Dick and Carey Model systematic approach, including identification of instructional objectives that combine cognitive and social-emotional mastery, analysis of skill components (interview techniques, transcription, context interpretation), development of operational performance objectives, and instrument development: interview rubrics, communication observation sheets, and reflective journal formats. Instructional materials and strategies were prepared with oral history guide modules, interview simulations, and focused discussions. The final stage was a summative evaluation involving cognitive pre-tests and post-test, reflective journal analysis, and standardized interviews. Results showed significant improvement in five CASEL domains: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. In addition to mastery of historical facts, students reported increased self-confidence, active listening skills, and awareness of the family's cultural context. The findings confirm that the SEKUL Model facilitates meaningful history learning by integrating academic and character-building objectives, thus recommending its integration into the secondary level history curriculum.

Abstract

The development of multimedia e-module teaching materials based on flip PDF-corporate material on the National Revolution in Malang 1945-1949 for history learning class XI students at SMA Panjura Malang was based on potential findings and existing problems. The research method used is research and development (RnD) by Sugiyono which consists of 10 stages, namely: 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) initial trials, 7) product revision, 8) use trials, 9) product revision, and 10) mass production. The results of this research and development are multimedia e-module teaching materials based on flip PDF-corporate materials on the National Revolution in Malang 1945-1949 which obtained material suitability validation test scores of 96%, teaching material suitability validation test scores of 86%, and product trials carried out by expert practitioners or teachers got a score of 96%, small group trials with 6 students in class XI-IPS 3 got a score of 85%, while large group trials with 14 students in class XI-IPS 3 obtained a score of 87%. Showing an increase of 2%, meaning that this teaching material is very valid and suitable for use in history learning in all class XI SMA Panjura Malang also answers based on the potential and problems found.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku digital tentang sejarah lokal asal-usul Tegal sebagai upaya memperkuat kesadaran sejarah siswa SMA. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari minimnya konten sejarah lokal dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah, yang lebih banyak menekankan pada peristiwa sejarah nasional. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan pengetahuan siswa tentang sejarah lokal terbatas dan kesadaran sejarah mereka rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, serta validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap kebutuhan bahan ajar digital berbasis sejarah lokal. Buku digital yang dikembangkan memadukan teks, gambar, dan multimedia interaktif, dirancang menggunakan Canva dan Smart App Creator (SAC). Hasil validasi menunjukkan skor 96% dari ahli materi dan 97% dari ahli media, keduanya termasuk kategori “sangat baik.” Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa buku digital asal-usul Tegal layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan efektif dalam mendukung peningkatan kesadaran sejarah siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan berbasis digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai karakter pada Situs Batu Kalde yang merupakan salah satu peninggalan sejarah dari Kerajaan Pananjung di Pangandaran sebagai pembelajaran sejarah. Pada penelitian ini terdapat manfaat untuk memberikan suatu kajian ilmiah tentang Situs Batu Kalde sebagai proses pengetahuan karakter dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian kualitatif ini diperoleh dari teknik wawancara, observasi dengan observasi partisipan, membaca sumber pustaka dan dokumentasi yang mendukung penggunaan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Situs Batu Kalde memiliki nilai budaya yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber pendidikan karakter bermuatan lokal dalam pembelajaran sejarah. nilai karakter yang dapat diangkat dari peninggalan sejarah Situs Batu Kalde ini, yaitu: Karakter toleransi budaya, menghargai keindahan dan karya seni, mencintai dan meningkatkan rasa nasionalisme dan karakter religius.

Abstract

This research aims to determine student learning outcomes in Integrated Social Sciences Subjects by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model using PowerPoint media. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Implementation of actions is carried out through two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation and observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were class IX MTs students. Negeri 2 Labuhanbatu, totaling 32 people, consists of 18 male students and 14 female students. The data collection technique uses a learning outcomes test consisting of a pretest and posttest. The research results obtained showed that the percentage of students' learning completeness that occurred in the pre-cycle was 46.87% and had increased with a completeness percentage of 71.87% in cycle I and increased again to 90.63% in cycle II

Abstract

The Radio Pemberontakan (Rebellion Radio) holds many values of struggle that can serve as lessons. One example is the reason Bung Tomo established Radio Pemberontakan. This radio served as a tool for the youth of Surabaya to unite their spirit in defending independence. Interestingly, Radio Pemberontakan was established through self-will, determination, and personal capability, reflecting the spirit of independence. Unfortunately, topics related to Radio Pemberontakan are still rarely explored in history education at schools due to the broad range of topics covered in the material on efforts to defend Indonesia’s independence, including both physical and diplomatic struggles. This study aims to understand the role of Radio Pemberontakan in the 1945 Battle of Surabaya and its application to history education. The role of Radio Pemberontakan is significant and should be taught in greater detail, especially in schools around Surabaya, along with the values embedded in each event. The study uses a historical research method comprising five stages: topic selection, heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The research findings show that Radio Pemberontakan played an essential role during the Battle of Surabaya. It broadcasted information such as announcements from rebellion leaders, updates from the battlefield, and commentary from both domestic and international sources. Moreover, Radio Pemberontakan symbolized independence in the struggle, a value relevant to the goals of history education: developing self and national understanding, fostering moral and environmental values, and shaping Indonesian students to be independent and proud of their nation’s history. Therefore, the role of Radio Pemberontakan should be taught to students. By understanding the spirited and independent struggle of Surabaya’s youth, students can appreciate the fight to defend Indonesia’s independence. This is crucial in instilling pride and love for the nation’s history.
