Abstract

The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Gresik Regency in 2019 stated that some villages in the Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency experienced drought, this condition is in contrast to the availability of water in 2012. The purpose of this study is to determine the spatial pattern of the carrying capacity of water resources. and direction of control policies for the carrying capacity of water resources. The research method used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis with the analysis technique of Water Bearing Capacity (DDA), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and spatial analysis using Arcgis 10.1 Software. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, questionnaires and agency surveys. The results showed that the water carrying capacity in Driyorejo District was 99.7% surplus and 0.3% deficit. The status of deficit water carrying capacity is in Petiken and Mojosarirejo Villages, especially in the industrial and service trade sectors. The main priority for the direction of the water carrying capacity control policy based on AHP is to improve land rehabilitation, development of infrastructure and improve the quality and quantity of water sources with scores of 161.4, 98 and 40.6, respectively.

Abstract

The high growth rate of vehicles gives direct effect on high road traffic. The capacity of Surabaya-Gresik Highway, which is designed with 2 lanes on each lane, is no longer able to accommodate the existing traffic load. This is proven by frequent long traffic jams on Jalan dr. Wahidin S.H. Therefore it is the right time to construct the underpass.The purpose of this research was to define the peak hours, the degree of saturation, and the level of service that occurred on the road section of Dr. Wahidin S.H to the intersection of Gresik Grand Mosque due to the construction of the underpass in GKB Gresik. The method used in this study was identification of traffic character, traffic survey, and analysis of traffic performance of signalized intersections using the Indonesia Highway Capacity Manual. The results of the study were morning and afternoon peak hours. In the existing condition in 2020 the value of Saturation Degree (DS) was 0.858 > 0.75 (LOS) E. In 2026 in which it is 5-year prediction by using management of traffic engineering the value of degree saturation (DS) was 0.744 < 0.75, level of service (LOS) C. Conditions after management of traffic engineering with adjustment of traffic light time cycle at the intersection of Jl. Dr. Wahidin S.H. – Jl. Gresik – Babat – Jl. Mayjen Sungkono, widening of intersection geometry and the operation of left and right side frontage and setting of Traffic Signaling Equipment (APILL) showed a level of service (LOS) C, stable flow, but limited speed.

Abstract

Pavement is one of the elements of highway construction which is very important in the context of smooth land transportation so as to provide security and comfort for its users, so that the pavement needs to be planned properly based on the standards and planning criteria that apply in Indonesia. However, there are still indequate road pavements in various parts of Indonesia. One of them is on the Kepatihan-Warujayeng road, Nganjuk Regency. This road is a connecting road between Nganjuk Regency and Jombang Regency. This study aims to analyze the pavement thickness planning for the Kepatihan-Warujayeng road, Nganjuk Regency. Research analysis using the method of Bina Marga 1979, AASHTO 1993. With a plan age of 10 years on the Kepatihan-Warujayeng road. Based on the results of calculations and analysis, it was found that the type of flexible pavement was to repair the damage. The first calculation of Jalan Kepatihan Warujayeng with pavement thickness of Laston AC 13cm, Base 27cm, and Sub base 21cm and the second calculation of Jalan Kepatihan Warujayeng obtained results with pavement thickness Laston AC 11cm, Base 25cm, and sub base using a minimum pavement thickness of 20 cm

Abstract

The economy is progressing at this time starting from the number of small-medium businesses, especially businesses in the culinary field, one of which is a coffee shop. Drinking coffee has become a lifestyle so this makes a high demand, then becomes a business opportunity to open a coffee shop. Moreover, starting a coffee shop business is not that difficult. However, studies still need to be done so that the business can run smoothly and earn profits. This study will discuss whether a coffee shop business, in this study is Zoa Coffee Shop is economically feasible to run. Therefore, to find out whether a business is feasible, a feasibility study is needed. In the feasibility study discusses aspects of the feasibility study such as market aspects, technical aspects and management aspects. In addition, this research will discuss the investment feasibility analysis using the Net Present Value (NPV) method and also sensitivity analysis. From the results of the analysis and calculation, Zoa Coffee Shop meets the eligibility requirements to start. The NPV value of the study results is positive. The value of the Sensitivity Analysis by assuming some cost increases, the NPV value is still positive, indicating that the Zoa coffee business is still feasible.

Abstract

The rainfall is a factor that has a significant effect on the stability of the retaining wall. In this paper, a study was conducted on the effect of rainfall intensity and duration on the stability of the Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) wall indicated by the number of the safety factors. The variations were made on the rate of the rainfall intensity, namely the intensity of normal, heavy, and extremely heavy rain, then variations were also made on the duration of the rain, namely 12, 24, 36, 48, 72, and 96 hours. The analysis was carried out using the software PLAXIS 2D finite element method with the type of calculation of fully coupled flow-deformation analysis. The analysis begins with an analysis of the safety factor was carried out on the construction process and the operational loading conditions of the MSE wall, the results obtained that the wall was in a stable condition with a safety factor for the long term 1.87. The next step is to analyze the effect of rain intensity and duration on the stability of the MSE wall, it was found that there is a decrease in safety factor due to rainfall intensity for a certain duration. Normal rain intensity results in a safety factor that is always above the safety criteria for the specified rain duration, while in heavy and extremely heavy rain the safety factors are below the minimum safety criteria after the rain duration of more than 24 hours and 12 hours, respectively. The decrease in safety factor is caused by several factors, such as an increase in pore water pressure, an increase of soil saturation, and a decrease in the suction pressure which affects the effective stress as a parameter that determines soil strength.

Abstract

The high mobility of the community in the Jakarta - Bandung corridor, caused a surge in passengers of Argo Parahyangan Train. To overcome this, the Government of Indonesia is carrying out a National Strategic Project, by building the Jakarta - Bandung High Speed Rail which takes only 36-44 minutes. When the Jakarta - Bandung bullet train starts operating, there will be passengers transfer from Argo Parahyangan Train to Jakarta - Bandung High Speed Rail. To find out how many passengers will move from Argo Parahyangan Train to Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail, this research surveyed with revealed preference technique, then the data analyzed with binary logit method. The travel attributes used in this study are the time difference and cost different. The results in this study, as many as 97.67% and 97.97% will move from Argo Parahyangan Train to High Speed Rail if the time difference is faster 150 and 165 minutes with a higher cost of Rp 25,000. By the cost is more expensive which is Rp 200,000, as much as 12.9% of participants select move to the High Speed Rail if the travel time is faster 150 minutes and about 14.59% select move to the High Speed Rail if the travel time is faster 165 minutes.

Abstract

Semen Tonasa is a company that operating in cement industry at east Indonesia region with the base material is limestone. PT. Semen Tonasa is located in Pangkajene Islands Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Mining method used is quarry method with blasting as a mine activity to open the materials. In every blasting activity needed the size of fragmentations is not more than 80 cm ≤ 15%. That size is obtained base on the capability of crusher mouth. Analysis method of rocks fragmentation that used was digital image analysis actually on the field with using split-dekstop software and theoretically with Kuz-Ram method. That thing was taken to compare percentage distribution of size fragmentation of blasting activity. The result of fragmentation analysis on mining area at PT. Semen Tonasa, was conducted on two locations of data interpretation that were at B7 and B8. The geometries applied at Quarry B7 was burden of as 5,04 m and a spaced of 6,03 resulting fragmentation size ≥ 80 or 8,15% and at Quarry B8 was a burden of 5,2 m and a spaced of 5,7 m resulting fragmentation size 5,61%, these were based on split-Dekstop method. In other hand that results were contrary with the prediction of Kuz-Ram method by the percentage of fragmentations at Quarry B7 equal to 24,17% and B8 equal to 22,99% with the size of fragmentation ≥ 80 cm.

Abstract

Water is very important in an irrigation area. In the growth of plants such as rice, they really need an adequate amount of water, so there is a need for research on effectiveness in terms of water requirements and in terms of water availability in irrigation buildings such as reservoirs. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of the availability of water in Embung Anggotoa in supplying water needs in the fields of Kukuluri Village. In this study, a modified Penman method was used to calculate the level of water use by plants, then calculated the need for clean water in the fields and then compared with the availability of water in the fields. the member pond. In analyzing the availability of water in the Anggotoa reservoir, a minimum discharge calculation is used using the Rational method. The results of the analysis of the need for clean water in the fields based on effective rainfall data and climatological data analyzed resulted in the water demand in the fields of 10.4605 mm/day/ha, then multiplied by the land area to determine the overall discharge required in Kukuluri rice fields with a land area of ​​95 ha. then the result is 993.7475 mm3/day. The results of the analysis of the minimum discharge in the upstream of the Anggotoa Reservoir based on rainfall data using the Rational method for a return period of 2 years = 61.198 m3/s, a return period of 5 years = 74,899 m3/s, a return period of 10 years = 87,686m3/s, a return period of 20 years = 100.930 m3/s, return period of 25 years = 105.041m3/s, return period of 50 years = 117.828, and return period of 100 years = 130.616 m3/s. Based on the results of the analysis of the flow of water availability, it shows that the capacity of the Anggotoa reservoir is still effective in meeting the water needs of the Kukuluri rice fields, the current accommodated discharge reaches 99405 m3 from the initial planning of 100000 m3.

Abstract

In the planning, design and determination of various transportation system policies, the theory of traffic flow characteristics plays a very important role. To facilitate the application of the theory of traffic characteristics, a mathematical approach is used to analyze the phenomena that occur in the traffic flow. One approach to understanding traffic behavior is to describe it in mathematical and graphical relationships by paying attention to the relationship between speed (S), density (D) and volume (V) of traffic. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of traffic flow on Jalan KHZ Musthofa which is the primary arterial road connecting vital locations in the City of Tasikmalaya using several mathematical models, namely the greenshield, greenberg and underwood models. This study has an urgency to determine the characteristics of the appropriate traffic flow and closest to the existing conditions in the field so that it can be used as a basis for determining the level of service on a road segment. This is an answer and proof that there is no road segment that has the same traffic flow characteristics even though the environmental conditions are very similar. From the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the traffic characteristics that are most appropriate to the existing conditions in the field based on the analysis of the selected model on the KHZ Musthofa Road Section, namely the Greenshield Model with free flow speed (Sf) = 52,043 km/hour, congestion density that occurs (Dj ) = 70,207 pcu/km and the maximum volume or road capacity (Vmax) = 3,654,088 pcu/hour. The structure of the model of the relationship between velocity (S) and density (D) is S = 50.96 - (0.66)D, for the model of the relationship between volume (V) and density (D) is V = 50.96 D - (0.66) D2, for the model of the relationship between volume (V) and velocity (S), namely V = 77.13 S – (0.66) S2.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of construction and infrastructure, so the need for concrete materials increases. In the field of engineering the development of concrete materials, from time to time, we always carry out innovations and research for construction materials. The price of steel reinforcement is increasingly expensive so it is very difficult for the middle to lower class to reach. The use of bamboo as a construction material has not proven its scientific quality and there is a lack of public understanding of the mechanical properties of bamboo. In order to provide an understanding and prove the quality of bamboo, this research was conducted by utilizing bamboo as reinforcement in lightweight fiber concrete. This research also uses strapping band type additives and the use of styrofoam as a substitute for coarse aggregate, the use of strapping band waste that is ± 70 mm long with a composition of 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% of the weight of cement, styrofoam of 20% of the volume. test object. The method used is an experimental method that is carried out in a concrete laboratory.From the results of this study, the volume weight of concrete without woven bamboo was 16.67 kg / m³, decreased by (8.67%), and with woven bamboo was 15.22 kg / m³, compressive strength was 11.23 Mpa, decreased by (24.40%), and with bamboo plaited by 8.49 Mpa, split tensile strength of 1.65 Mpa, decreased by (3.03%), and with bamboo plaited by 1.6 Mpa, on 28 aged concrete days with a strapping band fiber content of 5%.It is recommended to use strapping band fibers of 5% of the weight of cement to obtain the optimum compressive strength and split tensile strength values, while the use of bamboo mat is not recommended for lightweight concrete.
