Abstract

Railway level crossing safety is one of the most critical issues for railways. Collisions between trains and motorized vehicles contribute most to LX accidents. Population growth and the development of economic in Indonesia affect the increase in vehicle volume, especially in the city of Surabaya. Furthermore, the increasing of vehicles volume, causing congestion at some points in Surabaya including Gayung Kebonsari railway level crossing. One of the congestion factors at the railway level crossings is the duration of closing time as the train passes through the crossing. The uncertain duration of gate closing time cause road users to be undisciplined by break through the crossing gates while the train pass through the crossings. Considering of those problems, respondents? opinion is being evaluated to see the society behavior to early warning on reducing the number of traffic violation. A comprehensive discussion of the existing problems, lessons learned and the possible future implications that can be applied in Indonesia are presented. Key Words: Railway Level Crossing, Accident, Society Behavior, Regression, Binary logit

Abstract

Seiring dengan peningkatan permintaan Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) jenis premium yang diprediksi oleh BUMN minyak dan gas (MIGAS) sebesar 31 juta kiloliter dimulai dari tahun 2013, maka PT. Pertamina (Persero) berencana untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kilang-kilang minyak yang ada dengan cara melakukan pengembangan untuk kilang baru yang akan diletakkan pada area offshore PT. Badak NGL Bontang. Kilang tersebut direncanakan mengalami penambahan kapasitas produksi sebesar 200.000 barel/hari. Untuk mendukung peningkatan kegiatan produksi dan pengiriman Bahan Bakar Minyak Premium diperlukan adanya suatu dermaga yang dapat melayani peningkatan arus bongkar muat minyak yang akan meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan produksi. Dermaga Island Berth yang direncanakan adalah dermaga minyak untuk kapal tanker dengan kapasitas 85000 DWT. Perencanaan dermaga baru ini telah diwujudkan dalam bentuk gambar rencana pengembangan dermaga. Namun untuk mewujudkan pembangunan dermaga tersebut diperlukan detail engineering desain yang meliputi perencanaan loading platform, breasting dolphin,  mooring dolphin, catwalk, dan floating pontoon. Selain detail engineering desain perlu juga ditinjau kebutuhan kedalaman perairan pada area dermaga Island Berth, hal ini dikarenakan kedalaman perairan harus mencukupi draft dari kapal 85.000 DWT  yang direncanakan akan bersandar di dermaga minyak PT. Pertamina (Persero). Pengerjaan konstruksi dermaga Island Berth  sepenuhnya dilakukan di laut, sehingga dalam pengerjaannya digunakan kapal pontoon sebagai direksi kit. Perencanaan dermaga Island Berth ini mencakup perencanaan  fasilitas laut, perencanaan struktur dermaga, dan perencanaan alat-alat yang digunakan untuk proses bongkar muat. Selain itu perlu juga direncanakan terkait metode pelaksanaan pembangunan yang akan digunakan dalam pembangunan dermaga tersebut. Dalam perencanaan dermaga juga harus ditinjau terkait rencana anggaran biaya dari dermaga tersebut. Dari hasil analisis perhitungan didapatkan kebutuhan dermaga dengan ketentuan Loading Platform sebesar 35,5 x 24 m2, Breasting dolphin 8 x 8 m2, Mooring Dolphin 6,5 x 6,5 m2 ,Catwalk dengan panjang 24, 28, dan 30 meter, dan struktur floating pontoon.

Abstract

The high mobility of the community in the Jakarta - Bandung corridor, caused a surge in passengers of Argo Parahyangan Train. To overcome this, the Government of Indonesia is carrying out a National Strategic Project, by building the Jakarta - Bandung High Speed Rail which takes only 36-44 minutes. When the Jakarta - Bandung bullet train starts operating, there will be passengers transfer from Argo Parahyangan Train to Jakarta - Bandung High Speed Rail. To find out how many passengers will move from Argo Parahyangan Train to Jakarta Bandung High Speed Rail, this research surveyed with revealed preference technique, then the data analyzed with binary logit method. The travel attributes used in this study are the time difference and cost different. The results in this study, as many as 97.67% and 97.97% will move from Argo Parahyangan Train to High Speed Rail if the time difference is faster 150 and 165 minutes with a higher cost of Rp 25,000. By the cost is more expensive which is Rp 200,000, as much as 12.9% of participants select move to the High Speed Rail if the travel time is faster 150 minutes and about 14.59% select move to the High Speed Rail if the travel time is faster 165 minutes.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk dan perkembangan ekonomi di Indonesia mempengaruhi peningkatan volume kendaraan, terutama di kota Surabaya. Peningkatan volume kendaraan, menyebabkan kemacetan di beberapa titik di Surabaya. Salah satu faktor kemacetan di perlintasan kereta api adalah durasi waktu penutupan saat kereta melewati persimpangan. Durasi penutupan perlintasan yang tidak pasti menyebabkan pengguna jalan menjadi tidak disiplin dengan menerobos perlintasan yang berakibat pada meningkatnya tingkat kecelakaan lalu lintas yang terjadi di persimpangan sebidang tidak berpalang pintu. Sehingga perlu dibuat dua model hubungan antar variable. Model pertama yaitu hubungan antara lama waktu penutupan perlintasan dengan jumlah rangkaian kereta dan kecepatan kereta, dan model kedua yaitu hubungan antara lama waktu penutupan perlintasan dengan panjang antrian kendaraan. Digunakan metode regresi berganda (multiple regression) untuk membuat model tersebut. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu model hubungan antar variable yang dianalisis, yang nantinya dapat digunakan sebagi rekomendasi terhadap pembangunan early warning

Abstract

The economy is progressing at this time starting from the number of small-medium businesses, especially businesses in the culinary field, one of which is a coffee shop. Drinking coffee has become a lifestyle so this makes a high demand, then becomes a business opportunity to open a coffee shop. Moreover, starting a coffee shop business is not that difficult. However, studies still need to be done so that the business can run smoothly and earn profits. This study will discuss whether a coffee shop business, in this study is Zoa Coffee Shop is economically feasible to run. Therefore, to find out whether a business is feasible, a feasibility study is needed. In the feasibility study discusses aspects of the feasibility study such as market aspects, technical aspects and management aspects. In addition, this research will discuss the investment feasibility analysis using the Net Present Value (NPV) method and also sensitivity analysis. From the results of the analysis and calculation, Zoa Coffee Shop meets the eligibility requirements to start. The NPV value of the study results is positive. The value of the Sensitivity Analysis by assuming some cost increases, the NPV value is still positive, indicating that the Zoa coffee business is still feasible.

Abstract

This research contains an analysis of the traffic performance by dint of on-street parking, afterward the results are compared with the traffic performance if a scenario is made that there is no on-street parking activity. The purposes of this research are to determine the impact of on-street parking to road performance also to perceive the road level of service. The method used in this research is a quantitive method by direct field research. The results of this research are on-street parking activity around Jaya Ciracas Market affected the traffic performance with a difference in road capacity about 39,03%. The value of the road level of service when there is on-street parking activity is D, while when on-street parking is abolished, the road level of service can increase to C.

Abstract

Coffee Class on Mase Coffee Lab is a business which provides knowledges about coffee industry. The business was founded with basis that there is a growth in interest of coffee and only few similar businesses already exist. With that uniqueness, a research of feasibility study is needed. The aim is to determine the feasibility of the investment that is already ongoing. The data is obtained from either owner and literature study. Then using the data, feasibility study is conducted by analyzing non-financial aspect, financial aspect, continued with further evaluation by doing sensitivity analysis. Non-financial aspect consists of market aspect, technical aspect, management and law aspect also social, economic and environmental aspect. Financial aspect consists of evaluation of Net Present Value (NPV), Payment Back Period (PBP), Benefit to Cost Ratio (BCR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The result obtained are, consecutively, IDR 49,046,768.59, 2 years, 1,21, and 57,84%. Then sensitivity analysis is done for participant numbers, and operational cost. From analysis, it can be concluded that the investment on the business is feasible and it is sensitive to the number of participants.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk, berbanding lurus dengan peningkatan volume kendaraan. Semakin meningkatnya volume kendaraan dapat menyebabkan semakin tingginya kerawanan dan indikasi terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas Berdasarkan data SATLANTAS Polres Magelang Kota, jumlah kejadian kecelakaan pada tahun 2015 sebanyak 136 kejadian, tahun 2016 sebanyak 188 kejadian, tahun 2017 sebanyak 186 kejadian, tahun 2018 sebanyak 167 kejadian, tahun 2019 sebanyak 265 kejadian, dan tahun 2020 sebanyak 149 kejadian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan lokasi  rawan kecelakaan (blacksite) serta titik rawan kecelakaan (blackspot)pada ruas jalan di kota Magelang . Metode yang digunakan yaitu Accident Rate untuk mengidentifikasi ruas jalan rawan kecelakaan dan Metode Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) sebagai identifikasi titik rawan kecelakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah titik rawan kecelakaan yang ditinjau pada ruas jalan Ahmad Yani berada di KM 3+800 – KM 4 dengan nilai accident rate sebesar 70,399 , ruas jalan Jenderal Sudirman berada di KM 0+600 – KM 0+800 dengan nilai accident rate sebesar 105,446, ruas jalan Urip Sumoharjo berada di KM 1+800 – KM 2 dengan nilai accident rate sebesar 78,283, ruas jalan Soekarno Hatta berada di KM 0+800 – KM 1 dengan nilai accident rate sebesar 47,424, dan ruas jalan Gatot Subroto berada di KM 1+200 – KM 1+400 dengan nilai accident rate sebesar 59,729.

Abstract

Indonesia on the fifth ranks in the world considering of accident number, after China, India, Afghanistan, and Nigeria, where East Java is the province that has the highest accident in Indonesia. The city of Surabaya as the Capital of East Java Province automatically became the centre of government activities, giving rise to transportation activities that indirectly had an impact on accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to obtain the accident rate and the location of black site in the city of Surabaya. In addition, considering that productive age including junior high school (SMP) is the highest contributor on the accidents, the level of understanding of junior high school students on traffic regulations needs to be analysed. From the data obtained at IRSMS, it can be seen that five roads in Surabaya were the highest contributors to accidents in Surabaya, namely Mastrip, Diponegoro, A. Yani, Kenjeran, and Ir. Soekarno, where the five roads are inter-city connecting roads that blend with the road in the city. In addition, from the interview data, there was a relationship between awareness of traffic behaviour and willingness to protect themselves. Indonesia menduduki peringkat kelima, setelah Tiongkok, India, Afghanistan, dan Nigeria. Dan Jawa Timur adalah propinsi yang mempunyai kecelakaan tertinggi di Indonesia. Kota Surabaya sebagai Ibukota Provinsi Jawa Timur secara otomatis menjadi pusat kegiatan pemerintahan, sehingga menimbulkan kegiatan transportasi yang secara tidak langsung berdampak pada terjadinya kecelakaan. Oleh karenanya perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk memperoleh nilai accident rate, serta black site di Kota Surabaya. Selain itu mengingat usia produktif termasuk anak sekolah tingakat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMP) adalah penyumbang kecelakaan tertinggi, maka tingkat pemahaman para pelajar SMP terhadap peraturan lalu lintas perlu di analisa. Dari data yang didapat pada IRMS, terlihat bahwa lima jalan di kota Surabaya menjadi penyumbang kecelakaan tertinggi di Surabaya, yaitu jalan A. Yani, Mastrip, Diponegoro, Kenjeran dan Ir. Soekarno, dimana kelima jalan tersebut adalah jalan-jalan penghubung antar kota yang berbaur dengan jalan dalam kota. Selain itu dari data wawancara diperoleh hubungan antara niat dengan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan lalu lintas.
