One activity that is recommended for mothers after childbirth is the puerperal exercises Pelvic Floor Muscle Treatment (PFMT) or exercises specifically performed for pelvic floor muscles. The research method uses quasy experiment with one group post test design with control. The total sample is 36 people. Sampling technique is done by consecutive sampling with random permutation block. The instrument of data collection that is observational sheet is doing direct observation to the object of research to look closely at the activities carried out. Observation sheet which includes Pelvic Floor Muscle Training . The results of Pelvic Floor Muscle Training exercises affect the acceleration of the first defecation in Postpartum mothers compared to not doing gymnastics. Health workers should try to provide counseling and counseling about the importance of Pelvic Floor Muscle Training .

Abstract

is a form of community participation in the early detection, monitoring and early follow-up of PTM risk factors independently and continuously. One of the factors influencing the low level of Posbindu PTM visits is the community's knowledge about the use of Posbindu PTM. If the public's knowledge is less about Posbindu PTM, it will result in an increase in mortality due to PTM. To analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the compliance of the productive age community in the use of Posbindu PTM. This study used a descriptive correlational method with a cross sectional approach conducted on 93 samples using a sampling technique that is non probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Results: Most of the productive age community in Busung Yeh Kauh had less knowledge level with less compliance level, as many as 50 people (53.8%). The Spearman Rank statistical test results obtained p = 0,000 (<0.05) with a correlation coefficient of 0.855 which means that there is a very strong relationship between the level of knowledge with the compliance of the productive age community in the use of Posbindu PTM. Public knowledge about Posbindu PTM influences compliance with the use of Posbindu PTM. Efforts should be made to increase public education about the importance of utilizing Posbindu non-communicable diseases to reduce mortality due to non-communicable diseases.

Abstract

Because of the relatively high mortality rate in head injury patients requires an accurate initial assessment to predict the outcome and appropriate nursing interventions in accordance with patient’s condition. This study examined Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), systolic blood pressure, and respiratory rate as mortality predictors in patients with head injury at Haji Adam Malik Central Hospital in Medan. It was an analytical observational study with retrospective approach. The research population was medical record of head injury patients in the period of January – December 2018 in Haji Adam Malik Central Hospital. The sampling was taken by purposive sampling technique with several criteria including: having a GCS score, systolic blood pressure, respiratory rate at the time the patients admitted to the emergency room and was not a transferred patient. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that there was a correlation between GCS score (p 0.000; OR 3.299) and systolic blood pressure (p 0.024; OR 1,044) toward mortality of head injury patients. It is concluded that GCS and systolic blood pressure statistically increase the prediction of mortality in patients with head injury.

The results of the study obtained a positive relationship between family function and bullying behavior in teenagers in SMAN 5 Depok with a p-value 0.030 with OR = 2.078. This means that the function of family had a chance of 2.078 times to positively conduct bullying behavior. While there is a positive relationship between peer roles and bullying behavior in teenagers with p-value = 0.008 with OR = 2.430. This means the role of poor peers is 2.430 times to positively conduct bullying behavior. Researchers advise teenagers to better appreciate their peers, by not hurting or ridiculing other friends and avoiding physical, psychological, verbal and cyberbullying forms.

Abstract

Pre-eclampsia is an abnormality that can harm both the mother and the fetus, therefore every pregnant woman must be screened to detect pre-eclampsia symptoms. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of checking Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP), Roll Over Test (ROT), Body Mass Index (BMI) as a screening for pre-eclampsia in pregnancy. This type of research is quantitative analytic using a Quasi-experimental research design in the Midwives Practice Mandiri working area of Puskesmas Pulorejo, Jombang Regency. Sample: 48 pregnant women in Trimester II who met the inclusion criteria were using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were the KIA book, checklist. Chi-square statistical test and logistic regression test. The results of the bivariate test using Chi-Square found that pregnant women with positive MAP had a greater risk of developing pre-eclampsia, mothers who had positive ROT had 2 times the risk of developing pre-eclampsia compared to negative ROTs, mothers who were overweight or obese based on BMI had a risk more likely to have pre-eclampsia. The results of the multivariate analysis carried out with logistic regression tests together showed the effect of MAP, ROT and BMI examinations as a screening for pre-eclampsia in pregnancy. It is hoped that midwives and service providers for pregnant women to carry out MAP, ROT and control weight gain in pregnant women based on the Body Mass Index to screen for pre-eclampsia in pregnancy
