Abstract

AbstractThe fanaticism of supporters of the pride of the football team in each region often causes trouble outside the ?field?. This kind of fanaticism also occurs between two supporters of the football team in Yogyakarta, namely the Brigata Curva Sud (BCS) community and Brayat Jogja Utama Sejati (Brajamusti). Although they have long experienced "friction", the two communities that live in one area of Yogyakarta establish a communication that is quite different when it is outside the scope of the match. Not a few of them turned out to have close and even friendly relationships despite defending different football teams. This article examines the interpersonal communication that exists between members of the two BCS and Brajamusti communities in the outside of the match. Specifically the findings in the field were analyzed by the face-negotiation theory. The study was carried out using explanatory case study methods. The results of this study indicate that the two supporter communities namely BCS and Brajamusti have the same tendency in dealing with conflicts that occur in their interpersonal communication, namely by avoiding strategies, and including the type of self-maintenance maintenance with face restoration strategies.Keywords: face-negotiation, football supporters, interpersonal communication

Abstract

ABSTRACTFor the sophomore students in their senior high school, in choosing their majors were not an easy things to do, regarding many things should be taken as the matter of reconsideration. For example, parent?s opinion and friends, furthermore the student?s own interest and perception toward desired concentration. Interest, in the Indonesia dictionary means that some preferences regarding to which liking something or wanting something that suit the subjects. And perception means the responses of the subjects regarding something in the subject?s field of interest.In choosing their own education, SMK sophomores senior high school students would putting their full interest to the concentration which they chose, and also had their own perception towards it. This research would be using quantitative methods in order to obtain how much their perception and interest shall affect their willingness to continues their studies in AKRB Yogyakarta academy. The benefits of this research expected to grants valuable advices for referred concentration study in broadcasting field to enhances their qualities therefore the said academy would become the main choice for the students who sitting in the sophomore class. This research also expected to gives a contribution for sophomore students? interest in choosing their major in university.Keyword : Prception, Sophomore Students, Education.

Abstract

Program berita merupakan identitas khusus yang dimiliki oleh stasiun televisi. Program berita menjadi bentuk kewajiban dan tanggung jawab pengelola televisi kepada masyarakat yang menggunakan gelombang udara publik. Program berita merujuk pada informasi dan peristiwa terbaru baik di lingkup regional, nasional, maupun internasional. Kredibilitas stasiun televisi sebagian besar ditentukan oleh kualitas berita yang ditampilkan. Stasiun televisi yang menayangkan berita-berita akurat, seimbang, obyektif, dan menarik dapat memperoleh kepercayaan yang besar dari pemirsanya. Berita yang disiarkan oleh televisi dapat memberikan pengaruh baik positif atau negatif kepada penonton. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh pelanggaran siaran berita terhadap audiens televisi dan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan pelanggaran. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengungkap pengaruh tayangan televisi terhadap pemirsa televisi yakni melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, penulis mengakumulasikan semua data yang diperoleh sebelum melakukan penelitian, baru kemudian menganalisanya. Dari penelitian tersebut, diperoleh hasil bahwa siaran berita dapat memberikan pengaruh negative maupun pengaruh secara emosional kepada audiens karena tayangan-tayangan berita televisi banyak memuat berita kekerasan, kriminal, langkah-langkah melakukan kejahatan yang dapat ditiru oleh audiens. Hal itu disebabkan karena penonton bersikap pasif sehingga dapat menelan mentah-mentah pesan yang disiarkan.Kata Kunci: televisi, berita, penonton, jurnalis.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIt cannot be avoided that communication is the most essential need in every aspectof human?s life. No matter what the field or where the activity is, it is human whose alwayscommunicate to express what they want, or at least, what they think. One of communicationfield which has increasement in its interraction level lately is politics, and the activity whombecome its trigger is the presidential debate. The purpose of this research is to give a pictureabout the reaction given from the millennial generation toward their social media based ontheir mind pattern, whether his position as an individual or a group?s member, with 2019Election Debate as a medium of informational exchange.This will discuss about the summaries about Election Debate results, millennialpublic?s judgement about a serial of its activities into their social media, either their positionas individuals or as the member of a social group and the implementation of their behaviorbased on their judgement. This research using the phenomenology theory as major theorysupported by the combination between technology determinism theory with transactionalanalysis theory as minor theories. Abstract

AbstractIn the process of community empowerment there is a dimension of communication which is a way or method to disseminate and facilitate information or messages aimed at improving the quality of life of the community. One communication model in the context of community empowerment is a communication model of participatory communication based on community participation or beneficiaries, so that the empowerment messages can be effectively transformed through a partipatory dialogue model. Based on this context, this research tries to explore how communication model in the context of empowering peasant community in Nanggulan conducted by an association of Lumbung Tani which is a joint study between the facilitators of peasant empowerment (peasant activist) and peasant in relation to problems faced by peasants both in the context of policy and technical issues of cultivation. The results of this study show; (1) The facilitator plays a role as a partner for peasants to facilitate discussions and dialogues in every existing communication processs, (2) participatory and egalitarian nature that respects every vote or opinion of every individual involved in the process of engaging in Lumbung Tani; (3) pattern of communication built in Lumbung Tani, can be said as a participatory communication model.Key Words : Participatory Communication, Community Empowerment

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis feature program entitled "Gir Pasang" which discusses a village named Gir Pasang located on the slopes of Mount Merapi, precisely Kemalang included in the sub- district, Klaten, Central Java. Gir Pasang is extremely isolated because it is located between the steep ravines and away from the construction of infrastructure such as mosques, schools and health centers. This hamlet is also entered into the Merapi eruption disaster-prone areas. Even so, the villagers of Gir Pasang still choose to survive and stay in the village without worrying eruption of Mount Merapi since they mempercaya that they will remain safe if Mount Merapi erupts because there are mountains green which is believed to be older than the Mount Merapi that Mount Merapi dare not pass if the eruption. To establish friendships with Merapi, until now they preserve the tradition selametan as a symbol of friendship. Creating the works feature in desperately needed a photographer to take pictures as directed by the Director.This program focuses on the exploration of camera angle in the delivery of information visually. The camera angle used is eye-level, high angle, low angle and bird eyes. In addition, using the technique cameraman panning camera movement, tracking, tilting, crabbing and following. As for the type of shot that is used among close-up, medium close-up, medium shot, medium long shot, long shot, and the full shot. All camera techniques used in order to produce images yabg vary so it is not boring. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe making of this work aims to describe the work of editors in films relating tothe post-production process, including Logging, Offline Editing, Online Editing, Mixing,Distribute. As for the background for the making of the short film "SRIHUNNINGKANTHIL", the local culture of Indonesia is still thick with the spiritual, mythical, andhumanistic aspects. To produce a work, especially film, editing technique becomes one ofthe important aspects that must be present. With image editing techniques, it will createa work that is sustainable with the story line for the creation of aesthetic value. Themethod used is observation and interview. At the observation stage the authors payattention to the screening screened by film communities and sharing with the filmmakerswho screened. The interview stage, the writer interviewed several figures, including akejawen expert who had some experience that he had experienced and also as a formerpalace man of the palace.In editing techniques include aspects of editing (graph continuity, rhythmic,spatial and temporal aspects), editing forms (cut, fade in / out, dissolve and wide), andediting continuity. The image editing process used in the short film "SRIHUNNINGKANTHIL" namely graphics, coloring, masking and subtittle. One of the image editingtechniques used is in scene 1, namely cut to, dissolve, and crosscutting. Dissolve is atransition effect, while moving to the next scene uses the cut technique. Film is one artthat is different from other arts. Because it stands from several elements of literary arts,theater arts, fine arts, sound, music, and architecture. Film editing is an important thingin film because film editing is a high and key art of the final productions of filmproduction. Image editing technique is one of the important editing processes to producean aesthetic work that can be enjoyed by connoisseurs of art.Keywords: Work, Film, Editing, Continuity

Abstract

Abstract The Islamic Party began to rebuild its image after experiencing many problems. Stumbling on corruption cases is one of the causes of the decline in the electability of Islamic parties. For this reason, through mass media, the Islamic party is now re-gaining public attention. This study aims to examine how the Islamic party is imaged in the Republika and Tempo SKH in the May-October 2012 edition. The research method used is the critical discourse analysis of Teun A. Van Djik's model. Discourse analysis of the Van Dijk model is divided into three research schemes. First is textual, second is social cognition, third is social analysis or social context in which researchers analyze how discourse develops in society, the production process and reproduction of a person or event is described. The results of the research obtained are, the Republika SKH provides a positive image on the news of the Islamic party through macro structure, super structure, and microstructure. ABSTRACTBusiness competition to manage radio broadcasting in DIY so tight, the number of terrestrial radio is too much and not balanced with the number of radio listeners that resulted in the community is often confused in choosing dan know the name of the radio station. This also affects advertisers who are also confused about selecting suitable broadcast radio as a means of promoting their business. Abstract

Radio komunitas Lintas Merapi FM 107,40 Mhz merupakan radio komunitas yang didirikan dan dikembangkan oleh masyarakat Kampung ?Deles, Desa Sidorejo, ?Klaten, Jawa Tengah, sejak 1999 dan terus berkembang hingga sekarang. Radio ini mendapatkan berbagai penghargaan dan mampu bertahan hingga tujuhbelas tahun. Kunci kesuksesan radio komunitas ini adalah adanya partisipasi dari komunitasnya secara nyata. Penelitian ini ?bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Harapannya hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai model bagi radio komunitas lain agar dapat bertahan dan berkembang. Konsep partisipasi warga dalam radio komunitas, marketing mix (4P), elemen komunikasi pemasaran dan konsep tentang radio komunitas digunakan sebagai dasar teori. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif diskripstif dengan metode studi kasus tunggal Robert K.Yin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi radio komunitas Lintas Merapi mendapatkan partisipasi masyarakat lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan faktor kondisi yang kondusif untuk berpartisipasi. Faktor eksternal berupa hubungan pengelola radio komunitas dengan sasaran dan pelayanan pengelolaan kegiatan. Pelayanan pengelola radio komunitas Lintas Merapi yang diwujudkan dalam produk siaran yang mengutamakan informasi cuaca dan kondisi puncak Gunung Merapi; musik dangdut dan karawitan dari musisi lokal, serta pelayanan program off air; disiarkan dengan kekuatan 60 kw dan dapat diakses melalui handy talky (HT), radio dan internet streaming. Faktor eksternal lain yaitu, lokasi radio ini dibuka untuk warga selama 24 jam, memiliki ruang latihan gamelan, teras untuk kumpul warga/temu pendengar dan fasilitas lain. Selain itu, kegiatan promosi yang dilakukan antara lain WOM, branding dan Public Relations, melakukan program off air serta membangun relasi dengan organisasi, akademisi dan praktisi radio komunitas dalam dan luar negeri.?
