Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate a centralised procurement model in the construction industry using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The EFA results identified six new factors representing the multidimensional nature of centralised procurement: ORCHESTRA, STRATEGUS, DIGISONIC, FINCERTO, SYMPHONY-LINK, and GRAND-GOVERNANCE. All constructs showed strong statistical validity and reliability. The PLS-SEM findings showed high explanatory power, with R² values of 0.732 for SYMPHONY-LINK and 0.731 for GRAND-GOVERNANCE. These results highlight that STRATEGUS significantly influences SYMPHONY-LINK, while SYMPHONY-LINK is the dominant predictor in procurement governance. Furthermore, SYMPHONY-LINK fully mediates the effect of STRATEGUS on GRAND-GOVERNANCE, highlighting cross-functional integration as a critical driver of centralised procurement success. This study contributes theoretically by introducing new constructs into the domain of centralised procurement and provides practical implications for construction companies seeking standardised, transparent, and sustainability-oriented procurement strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Canva-based educational game as an interactive and independent learning medium for Javanese language learning, specifically the topic of modern drama for eighth-grade junior high school students. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model, which consists of the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research subjects were eighth-grade students of SMPN 2 Sooko. The developed product is an interactive quiz-based educational game that contains learning materials on drama structure, types of drama, intrinsic elements of drama, as well as evaluation questions equipped with feedback features. The validation results from the material expert showed a feasibility score of 97.11%, while the media expert validation resulted in a score of 97.22%, both categorised as very feasible. Limited trials indicated that the media was able to increase students' learning interest, understanding of modern drama concepts, and independent learning ability. Students also gave very positive responses, especially regarding visual appearance, ease of use, and clarity of the material. Therefore, the Canva-based educational game developed in this study is considered appropriate and effective as an alternative learning medium for Javanese language learning, particularly in modern drama material, both for classroom learning and independent study.

Abstract

The digitalisation of railway services in Indonesia has significantly altered passengers’ travel behaviour, although non-digital touchpoints remain essential for users with diverse levels of digital proficiency. This study investigates user interactions with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) across the pre-trip, on-trip, and post-trip stages, and analyses how these interactions shape perceptions of service quality and contribute to the formation of brand equity. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach grounded in service design, the research utilises contextual inquiry to capture actual user behaviour at Bandung and Gambir Stations. Field observations were complemented by questionnaire data from respondents to identify patterns in information search, ticket purchasing, station navigation, and engagement with digital features such as face-recognition gates. The results indicate that digital touchpoints facilitate efficient access to schedules, ticketing, and payments, yet users continue to rely on physical guidance, staff support, and clear environmental cues to navigate the service ecosystem effectively. The degree of coherence between digital and physical touchpoints throughout the customer journey substantially influences user satisfaction and plays a critical role in strengthening KAI’s brand equity.

Abstract

Nurse retention remains a pressing concern in many healthcare settings. Prior studies have shown that job satisfaction, perceived staffing adequacy, and fair shift scheduling may shape nurse loyalty; however, the evidence has often been mixed and inconsistent. Therefore, this study was conducted to re-examine the influence of Job Satisfaction, Nurse Sufficiency, and Shift Scheduling Fairness on Nurse Loyalty through a more comprehensive approach. This study aimed to assess how these three variables affect Nurse Loyalty and to identify which variable should receive priority in loyalty-enhancement efforts, using the Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) approach. The study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design using SEM-PLS. The study involved 302 nurses selected through a sampling technique aligned with the characteristics of the targeted population. The results showed that Job Satisfaction had a significant and positive influence on Nurse Loyalty, while Nurse Sufficiency and Shift Scheduling Fairness did not have a significant direct effect. IPMA results further indicated that Job Satisfaction had the highest level of importance, yet its performance remained lower than the other two variables. This positions job satisfaction as the most urgent priority for improving nurse loyalty. The study highlights the need for healthcare organizations to focus on initiatives that strengthen nurse job satisfaction, including improvements in work conditions, managerial support, reward mechanisms, and employee well-being programs. Although adequate staffing and fair scheduling remain operational necessities, their influence on loyalty is indirect, suggesting they function more as supportive factors rather than primary determinants.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is a crucial factor in maintaining workforce performance and sustainability. Various changes in compensation systems, work environment conditions, and workload require a more in-depth analysis of the influence of these three aspects on job satisfaction. This study was conducted to identify the key determinants of job satisfaction as a basis for strengthening human resource management policies. The study aims to analyse the influence of workload, compensation, and the work environment on job satisfaction among healthcare workers. The study used SEMPLS with 200 respondents. The results of the study indicated that Compensation, Work Environment, and Workload had a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Among these variables, compensation emerges as the strongest predictor, followed by the work environment, whereas workload shows a smaller yet still significant effect. The study model also shows that these three variables are able to explain most of the variation in Job Satisfaction, with good validity, reliability, and predictive relevance. These findings confirm that employee job satisfaction is strongly influenced by fair compensation systems, supportive work environments, and well-regulated workload management.

Abstract

SKA Field is one of the oil and gas fields owned by PT Pertamina EP (PEP), located in Bojonegoro, East Java. As a brown field experiencing natural production decline, its oil output decreased from 8,212 BOPD in 2020 to 4,498 BOPD in 2024, resulting in higher production costs. The field is also affected by volatility in global crude oil prices and the depreciation of the Indonesian rupiah, which further increases operational expenses. The largest component of SKA Field’s operational expenditure is the cost of power supply, amounting to IDR 1,468,082,803 per month. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to high power supply costs and to analyze potential strategic alternatives to improve cost efficiency in power operations. The methodology includes a qualitative descriptive approach supported by strategic management analysis through interviews with Pertamina EP and PLN management, combined with quantitative comparisons of net present value (NPV) for several strategic options. The analysis employs the Cause-and-Effect Diagram, SWOT Analysis, IFE Matrix, EFE Matrix, and QSPM Matrix. The results indicate that a synergy strategy between Pertamina EP and PLN has the potential to reduce operational costs while improving power supply reliability to support production activities in SKA Field.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digital marketing and discounts on purchase intention during TikTok live sales. The rapid development of social media has transformed how companies market their products. TikTok, as one of the most popular platforms today, functions not only as a medium of entertainment but also as a tool for promotion and direct selling through its TikTok Live Sale feature. Through this feature, sellers can interact directly with potential buyers and offer attractive promotions such as price reductions or discounts to increase purchase intention. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 121 TikTok users in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 3.0 with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) technique. The results indicate that digital marketing has a positive but insignificant effect on purchase intention, suggesting that digital promotional activities such as social media content, online advertising, or live streaming have not been able to directly increase consumers’ willingness to purchase. In contrast, discounts have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, meaning that the greater the price reduction offered, the higher consumers’ intention to buy products during live sales.

Abstract

This study analyzes the accessibility of closed captioning (CC) to the inclusive viewing experience of the Deaf community on the Netflix streaming service in Indonesia. Departing from the gap between feature availability and perceived functionality, this study positions Deaf people as subjects of knowledge, not merely objects of the service. Qualitative-descriptive methods were used through in-depth interviews and observations of viewing practices. The study population was the Deaf community in the DKI Jakarta and Tangerang areas, with a convenience sampling technique involving six respondents as participants in the observations and interviews. Data were analyzed thematically with a focus on time synchronization, translation accuracy, descriptions of sound effects/emotions, readability, and consistency of caption placement. The results of this study include a map of accessibility dimensions (technical, cognitive, affective, and social), identification of common barriers and good practices, and recommendations for improving Closed Caption (CC) standards and interface design that involve the participation of the Deaf community from the upstream production stage. The theoretical contribution enriches the discourse on inclusive communication and digital literacy, while the practical contribution provides a basis for policy and technical guidelines for platform providers, policymakers, and educators. Ultimately, this study affirms everyone's right to enjoy stories equally safely, meaningfully, and without barriers.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low utilization of electronic catalog–based e-purchasing in government goods and services procurement in Musi Rawas Utara Regency. This condition indicates the need for strengthening strategies to optimize the implementation of electronic catalog e-purchasing policies. The aims of this study are to analyze the implementation of electronic catalog e-purchasing policies, examine the roles of the stakeholders involved, and formulate optimization strategies for electronic catalog e-purchasing in Musi Rawas Utara Regency. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews with procurement officials and local business actors. The analysis was conducted using a policy implementation model, internal and external factor analysis, SWOT, and QSPM. The findings show that the implementation of electronic catalog e-purchasing in Musi Rawas Utara Regency has been carried out effectively, with respondents showing generally positive perceptions. However, several areas for improvement were identified, including the need for more equitable policy dissemination, strengthened digital infrastructure, enhanced implementer motivation, enforcement of fairness for business actors, an increased number of local suppliers in the electronic catalog, and improved oversight and information services. The study further reveals that the success of optimization is influenced by the commitment of regional leadership, the readiness of human resources, and coordination among stakeholders. The resulting priority strategies include strengthening regional commitment and policy frameworks, advancing procurement-related public communication and outreach, improving human resource capacity and digital literacy, and empowering local business actors through digital-based initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to map the intellectual developments, thematic trends, and methodological directions of research on BDA and AI in accounting during the 2015–2025 period using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA guidelines combined with bibliometric analysis of 74 articles. The research process includes identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages, accompanied by a quality assessment using the CASP instrument to ensure methodological validity. The analysis results show that publications on BDA and AI in accounting have increased significantly since 2019, dominated by contributions from developed countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia, while developing countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia show a trend of rapid research growth. Methodologically, quantitative research still dominates, followed by qualitative and mixed methods approaches. The bibliometric analysis results place The British Accounting Review, Journal of Business Ethics, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change as the most productive journals, with prominent authors such as Moll, Munoko, and Dwivedi as key contributors to the global citation network. The keyword co-occurrence map reveals two major orientations in the literature: technology-driven accounting research, which focuses on automation, predictive auditing, and machine learning, and value-driven research, which emphasizes transparency, sustainability reporting, and institutional legitimacy. These findings reinforce the relevance of Decision Usefulness, Legitimacy, and Agency Theory in explaining the dynamics of technology adoption in accounting. Theoretically, this study broadens the understanding of the digital accounting knowledge ecosystem and future research directions related to ethics, data governance, and the integration of AI in auditing and sustainability reporting. Practically, the results provide implications for educators, practitioners, and regulators to strengthen analytical competencies, AI governance policies, and the development of technology-based accounting curricula.
