Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through animation-based learning videos with a deep learning approach. Conventional teaching methods are less effective for science lessons, resulting in less engagement and achievement of student learning outcomes. The integration of deep learning implemented through animated videos has an impact on teacher success in learning through visualization, adaptive, automatic narration, and intelligent synchronization, making lessons interactive. This study uses the ADDIE model development method. Data collection is based on expert validation, teacher and student responses, and pretest posttest tests. The results show that the level of student learning success through animated videos meets very good feasibility standards, with an average score of 92% for media experts and 89% for material experts. Student responses increased by an average of 91%. Animated videos in the implementation process are very effective with a score from the pretest results of 68.3 to the posttest increasing to 86.7 with an N-Gain score of 0.58 in the moderate category. Based on learning outcomes during the implementation process, animated videos for science lessons are feasible and interesting, but also effective in improving student learning outcomes, offering innovative digital resources to support meaningful science education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of macroeconomic factors and internal factors of the company on the share price of commercial banks in Indonesia, with the role of net foreign investor funds as a moderation variable. The macroeconomic variables studied include economic growth (G), inflation (INF), and exchange rate (Exchange Rate), while the company's internal variables include net interest margin (NIM), debt to equity ratio (DER), and loan to deposit ratio (LDR). This study uses quarterly time series data from 2018 quarter I to 2024 quarter IV with a research sample of 14 commercial banks consisting of 4 banks in the KBMI category 4 and 10 banks in the KBMI category 3 and uses panel data regression analysis with an interaction approach to test the effect of moderation of net foreign investor funds on the relationship between independent variables and stock prices. The findings of the study show that macroeconomic factors such as economic growth (G), inflation (INF), and the Rupiah exchange rate (KURS) as well as internal factors such as net interest margin (NIM) have a significant effect on the share price of commercial banks. Meanwhile, net foreign investor funds (NF) were proven not to moderate the relationship between macroeconomic factors and internal company factors to bank share prices. These findings suggest that the direct influence of foreign investors on the dynamics of bank stock prices may not be as strong as the independent variables of macroeconomic factors and internal factors of the company, so the direction of stock movements is more influenced by fundamental and macroeconomic conditions than net foreign investment funds.

Abstract

The digital economy presents new opportunities and challenges for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study explores hidden patterns in social media data to strengthen MSMEs in the culinary, tourism, and fashion-textile sectors. Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data mining of leading brands’ social media was combined with qualitative validation through interviews with nine MSME representatives. Quantitative analysis revealed key engagement trends and content strategies, while qualitative insights confirmed their relevance and feasibility for SMEs. The integration of findings demonstrates that social media analytics can guide SMEs in enhancing digital presence, improving competitiveness, and adapting to shifting consumer behaviors. The study contributes practical recommendations for MSMEs while positioning social media as a strategic tool for sustainable growth in the digital era.

Abstract

The high turnover intention at PT. Graha Inti Jaya reflects challenges in human resource management, particularly regarding compensation, work-life balance, and job satisfaction. This study examines the influence of compensation and work-life balance on turnover intention, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey of 144 respondents drawn from 225 employees. Data were analysed using structural equation modelling with Partial Least Squares. The findings indicate that compensation positively affects job satisfaction and negatively affects turnover intention. In contrast, work-life balance negatively influences job satisfaction and positively influences turnover intention. Job satisfaction itself negatively impacts turnover intention and mediates the relationship between compensation and turnover intention, but not between work-life balance and turnover intention. These results highlight that compensation plays a crucial role in enhancing job satisfaction and reducing turnover intention. Conversely, poor work-life balance can diminish satisfaction and increase employees’ desire to leave. Companies are encouraged to design fair and transparent compensation systems while revising work-life balance policies to better align with employee expectations. By addressing these factors, organizations can strengthen employee commitment and reduce turnover risks.

Abstract

The implementation of the Generic Open Source Hospital Management Information System (SIMGOSV2) is essential to support effective and efficient healthcare services. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure, user resistance, and staff competencies remain significant barriers. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the successful implementation of SIMGOSV2 at Ryacudu District Hospital, Kotabumi, Lampung. A quantitative survey approach was employed, involving 124 purposively selected respondents from a population of 180 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the effects of human resource competence, managerial commitment, external factors, and technology on the successful implementation of SIMGOSV2. Findings indicate that human resource competence and managerial commitment significantly affect SIMGOSV2 implementation, while external and technological factors show weaker effects. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.681 suggests that 68.1% of the variation in successful implementation is explained by the studied variables. The success of SIMGOSV2 implementation is strongly influenced by human and managerial aspects. Hospitals should strengthen training, motivation, and managerial support while evaluating system features to better enhance work productivity. This study confirms that technological factors are the strongest determinant of SIMGOSV2 implementation success in regional hospitals.

Abstract

The phenomenon of quiet quitting has gained attention as it reflects employees’ tendency to perform only basic tasks without additional involvement. This study aims to analyze the influence of job burnout, workplace bullying, and work conflict on quiet quitting, while exploring the role of work stress as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents from various sectors. The findings reveal that job burnout, workplace bullying, and work conflict have a positive and significant effect on quiet quitting. Furthermore, work stress was found to moderate the relationship between these factors and quiet quitting, where higher levels of stress amplify the negative impact of burnout, bullying, and conflict on employees’ tendency to engage in quiet quitting. These results emphasize the importance of stress management and workplace climate improvement to reduce the potential occurrence of quiet quitting within organizations.

Abstract

Crab mentality, often described as a tendency to obstruct or undermine the success of others, poses a significant challenge to collaboration and human resource development (HRD) within higher education institutions. This study employed a qualitative phenomenological approach to explore how academics experience crab mentality, how they interpret and cope with it, and what implications it holds for HRD strategies. Data were collected from 15 purposively selected participants, including lecturers, administrative staff, and unit heads, at university X in Papua, Indonesia, through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that crab mentality manifests through passive-aggressive behaviors, lack of collegial support, resistance to innovation, and the downplaying of others’ achievements. Participants described feelings of isolation, mistrust, and alienation, which undermined their motivation and willingness to engage in collaborative projects. Organizational factors such as hierarchical structures, individual-based promotion systems, and competitive reforms aimed at achieving world-class university status further reinforced the prevalence of crab mentality. Despite these challenges, participants demonstrated coping strategies including endurance, selective collaboration, and seeking support from trusted peers. The study highlights that crab mentality directly contradicts the goals of HRD by weakening professional development, obstructing leadership cultivation, and reducing organizational learning capacity. To mitigate these effects, strategic HRD interventions are recommended, including team-based reward systems, transformational leadership development, structured mentoring programs, and transparent HR policies. These interventions are critical for fostering an academic culture that values collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation, thereby strengthening both institutional cohesion and global competitiveness.
