Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Organisational Culture, Perceived Risk, Status Quo Bias, and Sustainable Procurement Orientation on Vendor Selection and Procurement Performance in the construction industry, and to assess the mediating role of Vendor Selection. A quantitative approach was applied using survey data from 112 employees involved in procurement activities at a construction company in Indonesia, and the data were analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling. All constructs met the criteria for reliability and both convergent and discriminant validity. Organizational Culture emerged as the strongest predictor of Vendor Selection and Procurement Performance, followed by Sustainable Procurement Orientation. Contrary to theoretical expectations, Perceived Risk and Status Quo Bias showed positive effects on Vendor Selection, indicating the strategic importance of caution and stability in high-risk construction environments. Vendor Selection significantly mediated all examined relationships. These findings enhance the understanding of behavioral dynamics in supply chains and sustainable procurement by demonstrating how psychological, cultural, and sustainability-oriented factors collectively shape vendor decision-making and influence procurement outcomes.

Abstract

Generation Z, now emerging as the dominant segment of the labor market, demonstrates increasing selectivity in evaluating potential employers, underscoring the importance of understanding the determinants of job application intentions. This study examines the effects of perceived CSR implementation, employer brand, corporate reputation, perceived employee benefits, and perceived career development on Generation Z’s intention to apply for a job, and further assesses the mediating role of corporate reputation. Using a quantitative survey conducted in Surabaya, Indonesia, as an important urban labour market context, data were collected from final‐year undergraduate students and fresh graduates, yielding 218 valid responses. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that employer brand, employee benefits, career development, and corporate reputation significantly influence job application intentions. The results also confirm that corporate reputation mediates the effects of CSR and employer brand on intention to apply. Furthermore, perceived CSR implementation does not exert a direct effect on intention to apply but has an indirect effect through corporate reputation. These findings contribute to the human resource management literature by advancing understanding of employer attractiveness among Generation Z and provide practical insights for organizations in designing recruitment strategies that align with the values and expectations of young job seekers in emerging labour markets.

Abstract

Athlete performance is determined not only by physical and technical abilities, but also by psychological factors that influence mental readiness during competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of anxiety, self-confidence, and motivation on the performance of East Java Kabaddi athletes in the 2025 Provincial Sports Week (Porprov). The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of 96 athletes selected using a total sampling technique. The instruments used included the Sport Anxiety Scale-2, Self-Confidence Scale, Sport Motivation Scale-6, and Sport Performance Perceptions Scale. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results showed that anxiety, self-confidence, and motivation simultaneously had a significant effect on athlete performance (F = 8.062; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.208. However, partial anxiety (p = 0.189) and motivation (p = 0.136) did not have a significant effect, while self-confidence had the most dominant positive effect (β = 0.503; p = 0.076). These findings confirm that self-confidence is a key psychological factor supporting emotional stability and effective decision-making during competition. In conclusion, strengthening self-confidence through mental conditioning programs such as visualisation and positive self-talk should be a priority in the development of Kabaddi athletes. A psychological approach integrated with physical and tactical training is expected to improve optimal performance at higher levels of competition.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the factors causing the poor implementation of other receivables management by the BPK and to formulate a model for good management implementation at the BPK RI. The research method used is a qualitative approach and a case study at the BPK. Data collection was carried out through interviews and document review. The results of the study show that the BPK has not used the receivables module in the SAKTI application to manage other receivables, and that one-way communication has also been an obstacle. The BPK has good SOPs but does not yet have guidelines to support them. The recommended suggestions include forming a state receivables management team, providing effective communication training to staff involved in managing other receivables, and, last but not least, developing a State Receivables Management Guideline. This study recommends the adoption of an integrated internal control system model, namely the receivables management team as the first line, the Finance Bureau as the second line, and the Inspectorate General as the third line.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of mathematics learning through the assignment method at SDN Srengseng 06 and SDN Srengseng 05, Kembangan, West Jakarta. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to provide an in-depth description of how teachers apply management functions, including planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating, in mathematics instruction. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and were examined using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal that teachers in both schools planned assignments based on students’ learning needs, organized learning groups, time, and instructional media adaptively, implemented learning with intensive guidance and motivation, and conducted continuous evaluation through task analysis, process observation, and feedback provision. Although student conditions and school capacities differ, the consistent application of management functions enabled the assignment method to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and learning independence. This study affirms the importance of strengthening teachers’ managerial competencies in managing assignment-based learning to ensure that mathematics learning strategies become more effective and contextually grounded.

Abstract

Increasing environmental issues and the growing demand for sustainable products highlight the need to understand consumer responses toward sustainable packaging, particularly among Generation Z as the most environmentally conscious yet price-sensitive consumer group. This study aims to analyze how perceived value of sustainable packaging, willingness to pay, environmental concern, and attitude toward sustainable packaging influence purchase intention among Generation Z consumers in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 157 respondents through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings show that all four variables positively and significantly affect purchase intention, with attitude toward sustainable packaging serving as a key driver. The study concludes that enhancing consumer perceptions, environmental awareness, and willingness to support eco-friendly packaging can strengthen sustainable purchasing behavior. These results emphasize the strategic role of sustainable packaging in shaping young consumers’ decisions and contribute to efforts toward environmentally responsible consumption in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of marketing communication strategies, selling prices, and product innovation on competitive advantage through marketing performance in MSMEs in Berau Regency. The research is motivated by the low competitiveness of MSMEs and the need to strengthen marketing strategies amidst a dynamic business environment. A quantitative approach was used with the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling method. The sample consisted of 60 MSMEs selected based on the criteria of active business ownership and completeness of research data. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to MSME actors through various associations, including Rumah Kemas Bartiwakkal, Diskoprindag, Rumah BUMN Pertamina, Hands on, and other related communities. The results show that marketing communication strategies and product innovation have a significant positive effect on competitive advantage, while price does not have a significant effect. Marketing communication strategies and prices have a significant positive effect on marketing performance, but product innovation does not have a significant effect. Marketing performance has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage but does not mediate the relationship between the three independent variables and competitive advantage. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening more targeted communication and innovation strategies to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in Berau Regency.
