Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the sustainability of Indonesia's public debt under domestic and global fiscal pressures, identify macroeconomic factors that affect fiscal sustainability, and provide strategic recommendations for strengthening credible and sustainable fiscal policies. The research method used is an explanatory quantitative approach with time series data and panel data. The analysis methods used are the Generalised Method of Moments (GMM) to address endogeneity, and the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to measure long-term relationships. Indonesia's public debt has continued to increase in recent years, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, raising concerns about long-term fiscal sustainability. Reliance on debt financing can narrow fiscal space and increase risks to macroeconomic stability. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study on the extent to which current public debt is still within sustainable limits, as well as its impact on national fiscal stability. The results of the study support the Fiscal Sustainability Theory, which asserts that fiscal sustainability is determined by the government's ability to maintain a positive primary balance and control the debt-to-GDP ratio in the long term. Empirical findings show that although Indonesia's debt ratio is still below the safe limit (60%), fiscal sustainability remains fragile if the primary deficit continues to be negative. The urgency of this research lies in sustainable fiscal policy. Increasing external pressures, such as high global interest rates and exchange rate volatility, increase the risk of government debt financing. In addition, spending allocations that are not fully productive can undermine the effectiveness of development financing. Therefore, it is important to scientifically analyse the factors that influence the sustainability of Indonesia's public debt and its impact on national fiscal stability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial stability on financial statement fraud and examine the moderating role of external pressure in banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The research adopts a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and moderation interaction tests to assess both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that financial stability has a significant effect on financial statement fraud, suggesting that the more stable a company’s financial condition, the lower the likelihood of management engaging in fraudulent financial reporting. Furthermore, external pressure was found to moderate this relationship by weakening the effect of financial stability on the tendency to commit fraud. This implies that under high external pressure, the effectiveness of internal controls decreases, increasing the potential for fraudulent behavior. This study provides important implications for management and regulators to strengthen financial governance and mitigate excessive external pressures to prevent financial statement fraud.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of community marketing strategy and brand image on customer loyalty at Fore Coffee in Jakarta. The study is motivated by the growing competition in Indonesia's coffee shop industry, where customer loyalty is a critical factor for maintaining brand sustainability. The research applies a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. The sample consists of 100 respondents who are Fore Coffee customers in Jakarta, selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that community marketing has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, indicating that more active and engaging community marketing activities lead to higher customer loyalty. Moreover, brand image also has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, suggesting that a positive perception of the Fore Coffee brand strengthens customers' commitment and repeat purchase behavior . Among the two variables, brand image shows a stronger influence on customer loyalty. The model demonstrates an R² value of 0.792, indicating that both variables explain 79.2% of the variance in customer loyalty. This study highlights the crucial role of maintaining a strong brand image and implementing community-based marketing strategies to enhance customer loyalty in the competitive modern coffee industry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how gender equality practices in the digitalisation of employment in Tasikmalaya include inclusion in the workplace, recruitment, job placement, training and career development, and compensation. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The informants in this study are formal workers in Tasikmalaya. The results of the study indicate that gender equality practices in the digital workforce in Tasikmalaya have been realized structurally, but have not been fully realized culturally. This is seen in inclusion in the workplace, recruitment, placement, training and career development, as well as fair compensation and equal opportunities for men and women. However, despite equal opportunities in job placement, internal job placement is still influenced by cultural gender stereotypes, which causes bias.

Abstract

The implementation of Government Credit Cards (GCC) at the Secretariat of the Vice President is part of a broader cash management modernization initiative. However, the use of GCC has not yet achieved optimal performance. These conditions highlight the urgency of establishing accurate and adaptive cash planning for the GCC Imprest Fund. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to the suboptimal utilization of GCC, with a particular focus on cash planning. The analysis applies Lienert’s (2009) cash planning theory and organizational managerial factors proposed by Gie in Muthohar (2012), and is further strengthened through SWOT analysis to formulate optimization strategies. The findings reveal that GCC utilization remains suboptimal due to the lack of comprehensive cash planning, unclear allocation of GCC funds, limited use of core cash flow data, historical transaction patterns, and activity schedules, as well as insufficient coordination with the Ministry of Finance. Furthermore, human resource capacity, internal coordination, and leadership commitment remain inadequate, while the reward and punishment mechanism has not been implemented. Priority optimization strategies include capacity building, development of technical coordination guidelines, establishment of pilot projects, and the use of historical data and the SAKTI system to support cash planning and optimize GCC utilization.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged governments to adopt digital systems to improve the quality of public services, particularly through the implementation of e-Government at the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of West Java Province. However, the effectiveness of digital services is not only determined by the availability of information but also by the level of accessibility that ensures equality for all users, including persons with disabilities. This study aims to evaluate the accessibility of Disdukcapil websites across 18 regencies and cities in West Java using Site Analyzer and AudioEye tools, based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 standards. The findings reveal that most websites fall into the moderate category in terms of design and accessibility, but remain weak in search engine optimization and content quality. The AudioEye audit identified recurring accessibility issues, including unlabeled links and buttons, missing skip links, unlabeled form fields, disordered headings, and interactive elements without proper identification. These violations not only create technical barriers but also have psychological impacts on users with disabilities, such as frustration, mental fatigue, anxiety, and feelings of exclusion in digital interactions. The study underscores that failure to meet accessibility standards is not merely a technical issue but also reflects a form of social exclusion that re-duces the quality of life for vulnerable groups. Therefore, the development of Disdukcapil websites must prioritize the gradual implementation of WCAG 2.2, improve navigation struc-tures, and provide consistent labeling to realize inclusive, effective, and sustainable digital public services.

Abstract

Financial literacy play a pivotal role in the economy and community welfare. In the digital era, the ability to navigate financial technology is crucial for making rational investment decisions. However, a paradox exists in Indonesia where high digital adoption does not necessarily correlate with active or rational financial behavior, often due to psychological factors like impulsivity. This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Financial Literacy and Impulsivity on Financial Decision Making among tech-savvy investors in DKI Jakarta, with Financial Attitude as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 200 respondents categorized as tech-savvy investors through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results demonstrate that Digital Financial Literacy has a significant positive effect on Financial Decision Making, while Impulsivity has a significant negative effect. Furthermore, Financial Attitude significantly mediates these relationships; it is positively shaped by Digital Financial Literacy and negatively impacted by Impulsivity. The study concludes that fostering a prudent Financial Attitude is essential for mitigating the adverse effects of Impulsivity in the digital investment landscape. These findings suggest that stakeholders must integrate behavioral interventions alongside technical education.

Abstract

Service companies, including PT KAI, can determine appropriate marketing strategies to achieve their goals. During a pandemic, factors influencing passenger purchasing decisions include purchase intention, brand communication, brand loyalty, and the quality of the transportation company's services. The decline in rail transportation users due to the Covid-19 pandemic demonstrates that public interest in purchasing train tickets remains low. Purchase intention is the desire to possess more of a product or service. This study aims to determine the influence of brand communication, brand loyalty, and service quality on purchase decisions, with purchase intention as the intervening variable, among users of PT Kereta Api Indonesia services in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research employed a quantitative method with a total of 105 respondents who are users of PT KAI services. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that all proposed hypotheses are accepted. Brand communication, brand loyalty, and service quality have a significant effect on purchase intention, with significance values of 0.031, 0.001, and 0.001, respectively. In addition, all three variables also have a significant influence on purchase decisions, with significance values of 0.010 forbrand communication,0.004 for brand loyalty, and 0.001 for service quality. Furthermore, purchase intention as an intervening variable also significantly influences purchase decisions, with a significance value of 0.001. These findingsindicate that purchase intention plays an important role in mediating the effect of brand communication, brand loyalty, and service quality on the purchase decisions of PT Kereta Api Indonesia service users.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the recruitment and employee placement methods at JNE Express Gunungsitoli Branch in order to evaluate their effectiveness in supporting organizational performance within the logistics service sector. The research background is based on the continuing mismatch between applicant qualifications and job requirements, as well as employee placement decisions that are not fully aligned with individual abilities and educational backgrounds. A quantitative descriptive   analytical approach was employed, involving all employees as the research sample through a census technique. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics supported by thematic interpretation. The results show that the recruitment method is generally well implemented in terms of transparency, fairness, and objectivity, although the suitability of applicant qualifications remains moderate. Employee placement is considered effective in providing clear tasks and balanced workloads, yet alignment between skills, education, and job assignments has not reached an optimal level. The study concludes that recruitment and placement practices at JNE Express Gunungsitoli are adequate for maintaining operational stability but require strategic refinement to ensure stronger competency alignment and long-term performance improvement.
