Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine the factors that affect the income of fishermen in Great Aceh. This study uses primary data is data that is obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to 95 respondents. Data were tested and analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression Model (Model Regresi linier Berganda) technique with Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results of the analysis indicate that the traditional fishermen Capital (M), The amount of labor (L) significantly affects the income of fishermen in Great Aceh, the results of the analysis showed the modern fisherman working capital (M) and the number of days at sea (J) a significant effect on the income of fishermen. From the analysis that has been carried out on several criteria that capital should be used with an increase in working capital, of course the results obtained should be greater using of working capital efficiency improvements can be done by calculating the operational cost needs better. Limitations of venture capital or investment can also complicate fisheries fishermen increase economic activity. Because the government can help the fishermen by enhancing the functions of microfinance institutions and cooperatives pro fisherman and build Business Group (KUB) for fishermen, such as through ownership of the means of collective arrests

Abstract

Fishery sub-sector is one sub-sector that has great potential to be developed. This study aims to determine how much influence the working capital, the number of fish sold, and the number of hours worked against the income of fish traders in Meulaboh. In this case hypothesized that the working capital variable, the number of fish sold, the number of working hours significantly and positively affect the income of fish traders in Meulaboh. Thus any increase that occurs in each variable will increase the income of fish traders in Meulaboh. Based on the results of the analysis, for the variable X1, H0 rejected and H1 accepted, it means working capital variables significantly affect pedapatan fish traders. For variables X2 and X3, H0 received H1 is rejected, meaning the number of fish sold and the number of working hours have no significant effect on the income of fish traders. Simultaneously, the working capital variable, the number of fish sold and the number of working hours significantly affect the merchant's income. 97.6% of changes in merchant income can be explained by changes in working capital variables, number of fish sold and number of working hours simultaneously. While the remaining 2.4% is explained by other variables that are not included as variables in the study. VIF values indicate that there is multicolinearity so it must be tested between independent variables. R12> R2 and R22> R2, it means multicollonierity.

Abstract

Saprolegnia sp fungi are freshwater mushrooms that live in freshwater environments and require water to grow and reproduce. Mushroom Saprolegnia is a major type of water fungus that is associated with fungal infections of fish and eggs that are in freshwater. Saprolegnia sp fungus is also called a cold water fungus because it spreads in cold water. Saprolegnia fungus growth in fish / egg bodies or suitable substrate is affected by water temperature. Saprolegnia sp attack causes clinical symptoms that are filled with white threads such as cotton grown in fish eggs. To overcome this problem needed a solution for the prevention of fungal infections one of them is by using anti-fungal herbs such as chicken shoot leaves (Tagetes erecta L). therefore this research needs to be done to control fungal infections Saprolegnia sp on tawes fish eggs. This study used a complete randomized design (RAL), each treatment was repeated three times, the treatment was: P0 = ppm, P1 = 400 ppm, P2 = 600 ppm, and P3 = 800 ppm. The results showed that the most effective extraction was found in treatment P1 with an average value of 14%.

Abstract

Seaweeds have been utilized by local community as foodstuff, cosmeceutical, traditional drug and others. There are three major groups of seaweeds namely brown algae (Phaeophyta), red (Rhodophyta) and green (Chlorophyta). Halimeda sppis one of green algae which sufficiently dominant at the coastal of WestAceh. Seaweed contains bioactive compound which can serve as a defense from ultraviolet radiation that caused hyperpigmentation effect. The purpose of this study is to analyse the tyrosinase inhibitory activity of Halimeda sppextract from WestAceh. The results shown that the methanol extract of Halimeda spppossess phytochemical properties such as ekstrak Halimeda spp mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, phenol, tannin and steroid. Tyrosinase inhibitory activity of Halimeda sppmethanol extract  is the best extract which can be inhibit monophenolase with  IC50 : 57300,660µg/ml and IC50 = 3981685,489µg/ml in diphenolase pathway with kojic acid as positive control. Moreover, etyl acetateand n-hexane extract have no activity of tyrosinaseinhibitor. Therefore, new finding of tyrosinase inhibitor agent from green algae Halimeda sppgive the fruitfull information forcosmeceutical industry. Halimeda sppparts could be complementaryeach other in providing the raw material of cosmetic product.
