Abstract

This paper discusses the existing problem is that students still lack interest in learning in the learning process when educators use the lecture method. Lack of student interest greatly influences students' learning motivation so that this has an impact on student learning outcomes. On this basis, this research focuses on the effectiveness of implementing Ice Breaking Picture Guessing with the help of poster media on learning motivation in history subjects. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the application of the Ice Breaking Image Guessing Technique assisted by Poster Media on Learning Motivation in History Subjects. The type of research used in this research is quantitative percentage. The sampling technique in this research was the Purposive Sampling technique, namely sampling based on certain considerations, so that a sample of class X ATR students was obtained with a total of 23 students and an average UTS score of 34.70% in history subjects. Data collection techniques through observation,questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively as a percentage. The results of the research conducted showed that the effectiveness of the Ice Breaking technique of guessing pictures assisted by poster media on learning motivation in history subjects in Class X ATR SMK N 1 Kerinci was categorized as very effective with a score reaching 88,51%. It can be concluded that the application of the Ice Breaking image guessing technique assisted by poster media can be said to be very effective, according to the criteria table because it reaches a frequency of 81% -100%.

Abstract

Rokat Tase' is a tradition carried out by the Madurese people which is also called basic rokat. In general, Rokat Tase' is practiced by fishermen and is associated with religious values ​​and religious rituals with the intention of being a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the blessings of safety and good fortune received. This research aims to determine the process of implementing the Rokat Tase' ritual, the values ​​developed in the Rokat Tase' ritual process in the development of religious values ​​and social values. This research is a type of qualitative research conducted in Branta Village, Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency. Data sources were obtained from local community leaders, then supported by village documents and archives. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of the research show that Rokat Tase' takes place once a year and the performance is adjusted to the tides. The series of events for the Rokat Tase' Ceremony include chanting and praying together, making and decorating miniature boats, sailing on the sea and entertainment events. The values ​​developed during the implementation process are social values, religious values ​​and traditional values. Rokat Tase' plays a role in developing religious and social values ​​by optimizing the field of education in coordination with nature and routinely implemented in community traditions.

Abstract

This article explores legal proverbs and expressions in the Kailinesse, a regional language spoken by communities in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The study aims to identify and analyze the meaning and social function of proverbs related to law and social norms in Kaili culture. Using an ethnolinguistic approach, the article examines how legal proverbs reflect the cultural values, ethics, and worldview of the Kaili people, as well as their role in maintaining social order. The analysis reveals that legal proverbs in the Kailinesse not only serve as advice or warnings but also as expressions of local wisdom that encompass principles of justice, harmony, and adherence to customary rules. The findings provide insights into how the Kaili community expresses concepts of law and justice through their language and highlight the importance of proverbs as a tool for preserving cultural identity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of character education on the ethics of 5th-grade students at SDN 002 Pasar Usang Baserah, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 30 students selected through census sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire. The results indicate that character education significantly influences student ethics. The majority of students are in the moderate category of character education, positively impacting their ethics. Thus, character education is proven to be crucial in shaping students' ethics, and strengthening this program in schools can enhance students' ethical behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kualitas Sistem, Kualitas Informasi, dan Kualitas Layanan terhadap Manfaat Bersih (Net Benefit) dengan Penggunaan dan Kepuasan Pengguna sebagai variabel intervening. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 74 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SMART PLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kualitas Sistem tidak berpengaruh terhadap Penggunaan; (2) Kualitas sistem berpengaruh terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna; (3) Kualitas Sistem tidak berpengaruh terhadap Manfaat Bersih; (4) Kualitas Informasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Penggunaan; (5) Kualitas Informasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna; (6) Kualitas Informasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Manfaat Bersih; (7) Kualitas Layanan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Penggunaan; (8) Kualitas Layanan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna; (9) Kualitas Layanan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap Manfaat Bersih; (10) Penggunaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pengguna; (11) Penggunaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Manfaat Bersih; (12) Kepuasan Pengguna berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Manfaat Bersih. Abstract

The rapid development of technology has brought changes in various sectors of people's lives. One of them is in the education sector. Canva is an online design application, which provides a variety of graphic designs consisting of; presentations, posters, pamphlets, graphics, banners, photo editing and Facebook covers. The purpose of this study is to describe History learning at MAN 1 Banjarmasin, the use of the Canva application as a learning media for History class XI MAN 1 Banjarmasin This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources are taken purposively and snowball. In testing the validity of the data in this study using triangulation techniques. The stages in analyzing data are by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that history learning activities using the Canva application by history teachers begin with planning to create lesson plans in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, in the implementation of learning using this Canva application can increase students' creativity in designing to support history learning. The conclusion of the study shows that the application of the Canva application in history learning media by teachers has produced. The use of the Canva application runs effectively and smoothly according to the teacher's instructions. The results show the benefits obtained from the use of the Canva application, the application as a practical learning media increases student creativity, in creating graphic designs. Benefits for teachers help create student projects to create works. Helping teachers to create graphic designs

Abstract

Crime in urban areas is a social phenomenon that is sometimes very disturbing to society, so that it is sometimes imagined as a terrible space of horror for many people. A reality like this has happened on the highway of Makassar, a city in Indonesia located in the province of South Sulawesi. This criminal practice was carried out by a group of motorbike riders at night. This research examines several factors that cause crime and possible solutions, so that it does not have a negative impact on public peace and damage the city's image. This research method is descriptive using qualitative data. The results of the research show that the emergence of the phenomenon of motorized crime committed by teenagers is partly triggered by a lack of control from both parents and city security guards. As a result, criminal practices occur which cause road users to become victims.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to investigate how Dream Tours and Travel LTD utilizes Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) to keep customers coming back. The research approach taken is descriptive and qualitative, with participants including management from Dream Tours and Travel LTD and Umrah pilgrims. Information was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using qualitative methods. The findings revealed that Dream Tours and Travel LTD has successfully executed an IMC strategy by utilizing a range of communication channels that work together seamlessly. The company utilizes customer data to present relevant offers, develops informative content to build trust, and conducts analysis to adjust their communication strategy. The strategic and tactical implementation of IMC has contributed to increased customer engagement and strengthened brand loyalty. In conclusion, Dream Tours and Travel LTD's implementation of IMC has been successful in retaining customers and can serve as a model for other companies in the same industry.

Abstract

Collective memory of a nation is the result of the process of identifying the memories of historical actors in the heroic events of the physical revolution of the Indonesian Independence fighters (PKRI) who were members of the Indonesian Veteran Legion (LVRI). The number of Independence Fighters is decreasing so that historical memory needs to be saved as a historical source through the excavation of oral history. The aim of this study is to reveal the historical memory of PKRI Veterans in 1945-1949 in an effort to save local historical sources. The method used is the historical method with oral history techniques. Informants are key actors in the revolutionary events of 1945-1949. The results of the study show that the historical actors of 1945-1949 were not from the armed forces but from the people who were members of the armed forces and paramilitaries recognized by the government. In general, it started from the awareness to defend independence by choosing guerrilla warfare. The army and the people fought to defend the country. Victory in war is determined by the strength of the people who are united. Historical Memory is presented in a contemporary context so that it can foster a spirit of nationalism, build historical awareness and can be used as a source of learning history.

Abstract

The position of women in the structure of ancient Chinese society is very interestingto discuss, this is because traditions in China prioritized the position of men in allaspects of life in Chinese society at that time. This research uses Mulan movie as aresearch object to explain the position of women in ancient Chinese society. Thisresearch is a qualitative descriptive study that uses Mulan movie as referencematerial and is supported by other references related to the topic of this research.From the research results, it was found that the position of women in the life ofancient Chinese society was quite low, this was because there were many thingsthat cornered women at that time, and also the discrimination they experiencedwhere men were given priority over women. It is hoped that this research can provideadditional references for those who wish to study Chinese culture and history,especially the position of women in ancient Chinese society.
