Abstract

The purpose of this research is the importance of developing multiculturalism attitudes through habits, especially in SDN Sordang Bolon. The research method used is a qualitative research method of case study type. Data using data reduction, namely summarizing important things related to existing phenomena. The result of the research is that tolerance based on multiculturalism through habits, becomes a way to develop tolerance attitudes of students of different religions. The importance of practicing tolerance in the life of the nation and state, because every individual or group comes into contact with people of different backgrounds. Therefore, in this case it is very important to frame the role of multiculturalism through, especially in formal education, in the attitude of tolerance.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Discovery Learning model in enhancing students' understanding of expository texts in the eighth grade of MTs Negeri 3 Karawang. The method used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups: the experimental group taught using the Discovery Learning model, and the control group taught using conventional methods. The data for this study was collected through pretests and posttests and analyzed using statistical tests such as the N-Gain test and t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the understanding of expository texts in the experimental group compared to the control group. The average posttest score of the experimental group was higher, at 87, compared to the control group, which only reached 41. This indicates that the use of the Discovery Learning model significantly increased student engagement in the learning process and their comprehension of expository texts. These findings provide important contributions to the development of more interactive and innovative teaching methods and can serve as a reference for teachers to improve the quality of Indonesian language learning. The study also highlights the importance of implementing student-centered learning strategies to maximize learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research carried out aims to improve the character education of elementary school students from the perspective of educational philosophy. The research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through observation, topic analysis, actions, interviews, and attitude assessment sheets. From the results found in the field, it is known that character education in elementary schools needs to be instilled and requires more special attention in order to achieve the goals of character education which are implemented appropriately. From the research results, it can be concluded that instilling character education in elementary schools is very necessary for all students regardless of level. The aim of instilling character education is to shape students into individuals who have good morals and social responsibility so that there will be no more oppression or pressure from other parties. others are in accordance with Paulo Freire's educational philosophy

Abstract

The implementation of Permen ATR/BPN No. 14 of 2024 represents a strategic move in the recognition of hak ulayat (communal land rights) for Indonesia’s indigenous communities. This regulation responds to the long-standing issues of complex and non-transparent registration processes that have marginalized indigenous people from formal land registration. Despite previous reforms, data from the Indonesian Land Agency (BPN) in 2022 indicates that only 30% of ulayat land has been officially registered. The aim of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the policy, particularly in addressing challenges such as legal uncertainty, conflicts over land claims, and administrative bottlenecks. The study employs a normative juridical method with a comprehensive legal analysis of relevant regulations, including Permen ATR/BPN No. 3 of 2023 and Permen ATR/BPN No. 21 of 2020, alongside secondary data sources such as legal literature and empirical case studies on land conflicts involving indigenous communities. The analysis focuses on how the Permen ATR/BPN No. 14 of 2024 aligns with broader land management reforms and the technological innovations introduced by Permen 2023, which facilitates electronic land registration.

Abstract

Prosecutors face difficulties when enforcing the criminal penalty of replacing money for corruption, mainly because there are no clear guidelines on the minimum amount needed and it is challenging to trace the assets of those convicted. These hurdles impede the successful recovery of state losses. This research uses a normative-empirical approach, with primary and secondary data sources. The enforcement of substitute money payments for corruption is guided by Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 on the Eradication of Corruption, and payments are processed through the issuance of: Payment Bills; Declarations of Ability to Pay; Payment Receipts; Submission Letters; and delivery of the substitute money to the affected institution. If the convict fails to disclose or surrender their assets, asset tracking and searches are conducted, leading to freezing, confiscation, or auctioning of the assets. Obstacles in the implementation arise from legal factors, such as the lack of regulations on the Prosecutor’s discretion to extend payment deadlines; the conversion of subsidiary imprisonment if full payment is not made; and the determination of the amount of substitute money for claims purposes. Facility-related challenges include a lack of technology for tracking convicted persons’ assets and the depreciation of the value of confiscated goods. Cultural challenges include low legal awareness among convicts and their families, who often fail to report their assets honestly. Public challenges arise from the lack of awareness that recovering corrupt proceeds is a joint responsibility of law enforcement and the community. Public involvement in monitoring corrupt convicts' assets is essential to prevent the concealment or transfer of these assets. Future criminal law policies need to involve government changes to current laws or creation of new regulations on prosecutorial discretion in extending payment deadlines, converting subsidiary imprisonment for incomplete payments, increasing prison terms in prosecutions, and identifying and confiscating suspects' assets early in the investigation phase.

Abstract

Indonesia own a lot of rich variety of natural resource, ranking 2nd in globa Variety Index in 2022, But the more varied the natural resources, the more accurate regulation the nation needed to ensure the benefit of ts natural resources to be given to the local organizer and the people, in which is regulated in Statute no 20, Year 2016 about Trademark and Geographical Indication. Geographical Indication itself has its definition as a mark that show the origin of the local product as being influenced and inseparable by geographical factor, giving certain reputation and quality to its local product like White Pepper muntok or Sumbawa Honey in which included in this category as one. However, there’s a misuse of corporation/people that use the benefit of Geographical Indication’s mark without the requirement of it, resulting of the local people in loss and worsen their economical condition. Data shows that there’s 138 product registered as Geographical Indication by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI),yet some of them are not qualifed as one within the statute, in which resulting to unhealty rivalry between different local products as well. Significant measure are needed to ensure justice is upheld to protect local product so the people can be able to enjoy the benefit of natural resource in their area.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Christian Religious Education (PAK) on human resource development and economic empowerment among congregations via the wooden house sector in GMIM Sion Woloan. Prior research has underscored PAK's substantial impact on moral and character development in familial contexts; nevertheless, its relevance to particular economic behaviors is still inadequately examined. This study examines how PAK influences the development of positive attitudes towards work and social responsibility within family life and its effect on enhancing economic welfare. The research utilizes a descriptive qualitative methodology, employing a phenomenological method to document the subjective experiences of 30 participants, comprising parents, children, and church leaders engaged in PAK activities and the wooden house industry. Data were gathered via semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions, concentrating on the integration of PAK ideals into quotidian economic practices. Thematic analysis was utilized to discern emergent themes concerning the interplay between religious education, human resource development, and economic activities. The findings indicate that PAK cultivates a robust work ethic and interpersonal connections within families, enhancing both personal character development and economic advancement. The results underscore the necessity for intensified collaboration between religious organizations and local industry to optimize the potential of PAK in improving community welfare.

Abstract

Using a missiological lens, this study investigates the GMIM Yerusalem Kinolow church's involvement in human resource development and the congregation's economic empowerment. The purpose of the study is to investigate how the church combines spiritual and material elements to improve the wellbeing of its members. The study centers on the church's handicraft training program, established to equip the congregation with entrepreneurial skills while reinforcing Christian virtues and values. It includes qualitative approaches, such as observations and interviews. Church members who took part in the program provided data, which was then evaluated to find important themes about social effect, spiritual development, and economic growth. The findings demonstrate how well the church's program enhanced the members' technical proficiency and capacity for entrepreneurship. The training's incorporation of Christian concepts led to participants reporting a greater feeling of accountability, integrity, and discipline. Additionally, the program helped participants develop a feeling of solidarity and community, which aided in their spiritual and financial development. Additionally, the church was instrumental in helping members access new economic prospects, even though there are still obstacles to overcome in terms of increasing market access and integrating technology, especially for senior members. The conversation emphasizes the significance of a comprehensive missiological strategy that takes into account people's material and spiritual concerns. The results imply that by using spiritual teachings to direct economic behavior, the church can effectively serve as a facilitator of socio-economic reform. Nonetheless, additional assistance is required to improve market penetration and technical flexibility. This study adds to the body of knowledge on missiology by illuminating the ways in which churches might uphold their theological purpose while promoting economic empowerment. Additionally, it provides helpful suggestions for enhancing church-based economic initiatives, such as the necessity of outside assistance and specialized training to meet the various demands of the membership

Abstract

This research discusses the strategic role of Kedaulatan Rakyat newspaper during the 1947-1950 Physical Revolution period as a propaganda tool, disseminator of independence ideology, and mobiliser of the people. Kedaulatan Rakyat functioned as the main media in disseminating information related to the independence struggle, especially in Yogyakarta, through the narrative of the victory of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and the solidarity of the people. In addition, the newspaper played an important role in strengthening the spirit of resistance against Dutch military aggression through the narrative of anti-colonialism and nationalism in its editorial section. Despite the challenges of Dutch confiscation and limited resources, Kedaulatan Rakyat was still able to distribute information through a secret distribution network. By conveying military strategy and the success of the TNI, Kedaulatan Rakyat succeeded in mobilising the public, creating a sense of optimism, and strengthening popular support for the independence struggle. This research highlights how mass media can be an important instrument in a nation's political and military struggle.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems that researchers find in the field low interest and knowledge of students in learning to write descriptive texts. This is due to the lack of application of a unique and interesting learning model, so that it can make it easier for students to learn activities. This study aims to prove the influence of the Prediction Guide learning model on learning to write descriptive texts at SMPN 228 Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pseudo-experimental method of non-equivalent group design research design. The population in this study is SMPN 228 Jakarta with a total of classes VII A to VII H with research samples of classes VII A as the control class and VII B as an experimental class with a total of 36 students in each class. The data collection technique uses test instruments with the help of data processing using SPSS software version 27. The results of the study were obtained that the average score of the experimental class was 66 pretest while 81 posttest. This proves that there is an increase in the results of scores in the experimental class where the Prediction Guide learning model is applied. The normality test as a prerequisite for the parametric test was then obtained abnormal data at 0.049 pretest of the control class and 0.042 posttest of the experimental class, while normal data at 0.050 posttest of the control class and 0.102 pretest of the experimental class. Then, the homogeneity test obtained a value of 0.977 for the control class and 0.819 for the experimental class, the data was declared homogeneous. The Mann-Whitney test obtained a significance value 0.003 < 0.05 until H_1 is accepted H_0 rejected. The N-Gain test obtained a value of 0.5232 with the medium category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Prediction Guide learning model has an effect on learning to write descriptive texts. .
