Abstract

This reseach form is survey reseach which is done to see the teachers‟ ability inunderstanding punctuation.Tecniques in getting data is that 30 valid questions are given to theteachers. The samples in this reseach are 81 teachers in Tampan district with the level ofprecision 10%. the teachers‟s ability in Tampan district were analyzedbased on category.Among 81 teachers 1 teacher (1,23%) gotthe best category, 31 teachers (38,27%) gotgood,38teachers (46,91) gotfair category , and 11 teachers (13,58) gets less category. Those resultswere got from the test that was given to the primary school teachers in Tampan district. Theaverage score is 63,5 with fair category.This shows that primary school teachers did not passbased on classical completeness 39,50% then it seems that the teachers‟ ability is still low.keyword : punctuation

Abstract

  Indonesia memiliki banyak keberagamaan  sehingga perlunya pendidikan multikultural untuk mahasiswa dengan harapan agar mahasiswa mampu bertoleransi dengan adanya perbedaan. Sehingga peneliti harus mampu menyelipkan pendidikan multikultural pada mata kuliah yang diampu oleh mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pendidikan multikultual dalam membentuk karakter bangsa melalui pembelajaran IPS SD pada mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UIR angkatan 2021. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan kualitatif. Penelitian ini lebih menekankan realitas sosial sebagai suatu yang utuh, kompleks, dinamis, dan bersifat interaktif untuk meneliti objek yang alamiah.  Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh informasi diantaranya adalah : 1) pendidikan multikultural dalam membentuk karakter bangsa melalui mata kuliah pembelajaran IPS SD pada mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UIR dilakukan dengan cara menyesuaikan materi ajar pada mahasiswa semester 3 yang berkaitan dengan multikultural. 2) pendidikan multikultural dalam perbedaan, struktur ssosial dan pendidikan yang sama atau adil dalam membentuk karakter bangsa melalui pebelajaran mata kuliah pembelajaran IPS SD di mahasiswa PGSD FKIP UIR angkatan 2021 dilakukan dengan menerapkan 5S yaitu senyum, sapa, salam, sopan, santun. Di kampus khusunya pada program studi PGSD tidak ada pembedaan, semua mahasiswa mendapat perlakuan yang sama baik dari budaya yang berbeda, ras, suku yang berbeda. 3) pendidikan multikultural ditinjau dari aspek solidaritas, kerja sama, toleransi, dalam membentuk karakter bangsa melalui pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Pembelajaran IPS SD.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a contextual-based learning video media for elementary school. The form of this research is research and development or research and development using the Four-D (4D) model. Given the length of time and cost required, the research on the development of contextual-based learning video media was onlycarried out in three stages, namely define, design, and development. The sampling technique used by researchers was a purposive sampling technique with a total sample taken of 10 students from three schools in the Pelalawan region, Riau Province. The data collection technique used was obtained from validation results by learning mediaexpert validators, material experts, and class science teachers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of this study are in the form of learning video-based desain media on human respiratory system material in the form of video (mp4) which is tested based on the validator's assessment. The results ofvalidation by learning media experts show that the learning media developed is very feasible to use, based on the results of validation from experts, prereview including teachers and limited tests through student responses obtained from biology learning video media products on the subject matter of the human circulatory system are directed to the very category suitable for use as a medium for learning biology.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang program-program refomasi pendidikan dan perbedaan Pendidikan di dua Negara dengan latar belakang dan kondisi serta ideologi yang berbeda yaitu Singapura dan Indonesia.  Perbedaan sistem kurikulum merupakan suatu cara untuk mengetahui berbagai aspek yang berhubungan dengan sistem pendidikan Indonesia dan Singapura. program reformasi pendidikan di Singapura adalah Teach less, Learn More; Thinking School, Learning Nation, dan School Excellent Model. Sedangkan kebijakan reformasi pendidikan di Indonesia diantaranya diselenggarakan dengan desentralisasi pendidikan dalam kerangka manajemen berbasis sekolah, Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan dan Kurikulum 2013, serta program sertifikasi guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi Pustaka dimana pengumpulan data dengan melakukan kajian terhadap berbagai literatur. Penulis mengumpulkan data dari jurnal, buku, dan media online. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori reformasi Pendidikan dan perbedaan sistem kurikulum Pendidikan. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada aspek reformasi Singapura telah berhasil menyelenggarakan reformasi pendidikan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kualitas pendidikan Singapura yang masuk dalam ranking teratas Negara-negara dengan pencapaian standar pendidikan internasional. Sementara itu, Indonesia nampak masih harus berjuang untuk mencapai tujuan reformasi pendidikan. Hasil implementasi pendidikan yang berbeda di kedua Negara ini tentu dikarenakan perbedaan latar belakang, serta kondisi sosial, ekonomi, politik budaya dan geografis kedua Negara tersebut. Sedangakn perbedaan kurikulum Bagi negara maju seperti Singapura kurikulum pendidikan digunakan sebagai upaya untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas hidup para warga negaranya. Sedangkan bagi negara berkembang seperti Indonesia kurikulum pendidikan dilaksanakan sebagai upaya untuk mengejar ketertinggalan.

Abstract

In improving the quality of education, the role of the principal is very much needed to manage facilities and infrastructure. However, in reality there are still schools whose facilities and infrastructure are inadequate. So the role of the principal is very much needed in managing facilities and infrastructure in schools. The purpose of this study is to gain an understanding of the role of the principal in managing facilities and infrastructure towards the quality of education at SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative research type. The subjects in this study were the principal and teachers of SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. Data collection techniques and instruments used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The validity test of the data in this study used the triangulation technique of source data, techniques and time. The data analysis method used is in accordance with the theory of Miles and Huberman which has stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the principal of SD Negeri 8 Pekanbaru plays a very important role in managing facilities and infrastructure towards the quality of education. The principal at Pekanbaru 8th State Elementary School plays a role in planning the budget for procurement, construction, maintenance and repair of school facilities, distribution and making an inventory of procurement of facilities and infrastructure and providing a warehouse for storage and reporting items that are written off.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum demands a significant and comprehensive role for teachers, starting from planners, designers, managers, evaluators, researchers, decision makers, to learning administrators. The aim of this research is to describe in detail the conditions related to the role of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SDN 017 Mayang Pongkai. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with case studies. Researchers used various data collection techniques, such as observation, interviews and document analysis, involving research subjects, namely the class V homeroom teacher at SDN 017 Mayang Pongkai. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the independent curriculum has been implemented well according to its role. The role of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum includes teacher, educator, facilitator, guide, servant, designer, manager, innovator and assesor.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of character education on the ethics of 5th-grade students at SDN 002 Pasar Usang Baserah, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 30 students selected through census sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire. The results indicate that character education significantly influences student ethics. The majority of students are in the moderate category of character education, positively impacting their ethics. Thus, character education is proven to be crucial in shaping students' ethics, and strengthening this program in schools can enhance students' ethical behavior.

Abstract

Learning media that does not support the learning process is one of the causes of students feeling bored with learning. Therefore, teachers need to use learning media that can support the learning process, one of which is interactive learning media Powerpoint. This study aims to describe the development process and assess the feasibility and effectivene sof interactive PowerPoint learning media for the Norma dalam Kehidupanku material for grade V students of SDN 160 Pekanbaru. The research method used is research and development using a qualitative and quantitative approach of the Research and Development (R&D) type with a 4D design. This development research was conducted using a four-stage procedure, consisting of the definition stage (define), the planning stage (design), the development stage (develop), and the dissemination stage (disseminate). The main data sources in this study consisted of 6 material expert validators, language experts, and design experts as well as teachers and students of class VA. The research instrument was in the form of a validation questionnaire sheet for material experts, language experts, and design experts as well as a questionnaire for teacher and student responses. Based on the validation results, it shows that this learning media meets the eligibility standards, with the percentage of eligibility from material experts of 85,5%, language experts 85,8%, and design experts 85,2%, all in the category of feasible or valid. Meanwhile, the response from the teacher showed a level of eligibility of 95% and the response from students was 95.7%, both of which were in the very feasible category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di SD Negeri 167 Pekanbaru. Rendahnya motivasi ini berdampak negatif pada hasil belajar dan keterlibatan siswa. Faktor internal yang berkontribusi meliputi kurangnya minat belajar, sikap, dan kondisi fisik siswa. Sementara itu, faktor eksternal mencakup lingkungan keluarga, interaksi sosial, serta metode dan media pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan optimal. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, melibatkan siswa, guru, dan lingkungan sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa disebabkan oleh kombinasi faktor internal dan eksternal. Secara ilmiah, penelitian ini memperkaya pemahaman tentang dinamika motivasi belajar di jenjang sekolah dasar. Secara praktis, temuan ini berkontribusi dalam perancangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan kolaboratif antara guru, siswa, dan pihak sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar.
