Abstract

Monitoring is an activity carried out to monitor, supervise, and observe certain things in a place. Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Riau has two laboratories, namely software and robotics laboratories, each of which has 30 computers. There is 1 officer who supervises and performs maintenance for the two laboratories. However, of the many computers, routine checks must be carried out so that the learning process always runs well and smoothly. With a minimal number of officers, the learning process will be disrupted if there is damage to one of the computers in the laboratory. For this reason, a laboratory monitoring information system is needed that is useful later in providing reports on the state of computer damage by computer users which here are Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Riau campus students. The method used is waterfall, this method is suitable for the problem of applying for marriage and reconciliation more easily and quickly. After the system is implemented, the result that will be obtained is an integrated system that becomes easier. The results of testing this information system will later display reports from students regarding the state of the computer, both related to software and hardware itself.

Abstract

The availability of clean water is the top priority for the survival of the community. Therefore, efforts are needed to distribute clean water evenly, including by building a pipeline network that reaches every house in an area. The Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation System Management Group (KPSPAMS) of Ulakan Village, Karangasem Regency, built a water pipeline network to overcome the problem of lack of clean water experienced by local residents, especially during the dry season. However, development is still often not optimal because there is a pipe rotation (circuit) that causes the length of the pipe not to be optimized and the overall cost to be higher. Thus, the preparation of an efficient and effective pipeline network is the main focus. The location studied is part of Ulakan Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency. This study aims to find the most optimal pipeline network arrangement through a comparison of three Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) algorithms, namely the Kruskal, Prim and Sollin algorithms. This study represents the pipeline graph into an edge list. Furthermore, with the three algorithms, the list is analyzed based on the complexity of time and computer programs to find the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST). This research seeks to provide a practical solution of the comparison of the three algorithms with a focus on theoretical understanding and experimental results.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the Rohingya refugee exodus is something that attracts a lot of public interest on social media. This study aims to see how the public represents the phenomenon of the presence of Rohingya refugees in Indonesia on X social media with the Decision tree 5.0 algorithm and Naive bayes with the keyword "rohingya". The results of the study showed that negative sentiment is still dominant on X social media with an average of 49.5%, positive sentiment 18.5% and neutral sentiment 27%. For validity testing using the K-Fold Validation method, it shows that the naïve Bayes algorithm has a better level of accuracy with an accuracy level of 83% while the decision tree only has an accuracy level of 78%. The results of the study indicate that Indonesian people through X social media still tend to give a negative attitude towards the presence of Rohingya refugees in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a website-based chatbot system using a matching pattern algorithm to improve the efficiency of the store department at PT.XYZ in managing warehouse inventory. The system is designed to assist users in adding item names, images, and quantities to the database in a more structured and efficient manner. The system development process was carried out using the SDLC method to ensure a systematic approach, while the performance of the developed features was tested using the black box testing method. The results of this study indicate that the web-based chatbot successfully displays item information based on user requests. Additionally, the system provides an option to add new items to the database if the requested item is not found, automatically updating the knowledge base with relevant string patterns. Black box testing results demonstrate that all key features, such as item search, quantity adjustment, and image display, function reliably and effectively. Thus, this chatbot system has proven to significantly support the operational efficiency of the store department at PT.XYZ.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a website based chatbot application implemented at PT. International Hardware Indo using the Flask framework and Rule-Based algorithm. The application is designed to improve customer service efficiency by providing quick answers to frequently asked questions, reducing the workload of customer service, and addressing operational time constraints. The chatbot development process follows the Waterfall methodology, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The Rule-Based algorithm is employed to map user input to the company dataset through logical "IF-THEN" rules. The research results demonstrate a chatbot accuracy rate of 90%, as measured through black box testing, despite limitations in handling input outside the trained dataset. The chatbot is designed with hybrid navigation, a simple interface, and cross-platform device compatibility. This research contributes to the development of chatbot based information systems that are widely accessible to customers, thereby enhancing user experience and improving operational efficiency for the company.

Abstract

This study focuses on developing and implementing a chatbot system using the Python Flask framework to enhance customer service efficiency at PT. NG Tech Supplies. The chatbot is designed to provide fast and accurate responses to customer inquiries, leveraging artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies. The development follows a systematic approach using the Waterfall methodology, encompassing requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. Key features include seamless integration with order management and CRM systems, enabling real-time updates on product and order status. Black-box testing was conducted to evaluate system performance, demonstrating an average response time of less than 2 seconds and high accuracy in handling queries. The chatbot also supports a well-organized folder structure in cPanel, ensuring efficient management and scalability. This research highlights the chatbot's potential to automate repetitive tasks, reduce workload, and improve customer satisfaction through enhanced service delivery.

Abstract

This study investigates methods to enhance the quality of OKU Timur script images through preprocessing techniques utilizing Adaptive Thresholding. The OKU Timur script, significant for daily communication and traditional ceremonies, encounters challenges such as skew, rotation, and low resolution in image processing. The proposed preprocessing approach includes contrast normalization to improve image clarity, noise reduction to eliminate unwanted artifacts, and feature extraction to emphasize critical image characteristics. These steps are designed to enhance the accuracy of character recognition. The findings indicate that proper preprocessing is crucial for effective recognition of OKU Timur script and holds substantial potential for preserving this cultural heritage through modern technological applications.

Abstract

The Web-Based SPP Payment and Teacher Payroll Application for tutoring centers is designed to enhance efficiency in financial management, specifically in recording student SPP payments and teacher payroll processing. Previously, financial management processes were manual, making them prone to errors and time-consuming. This application automates data recording and provides a more structured data storage, reducing the risk of common errors in manual systems. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall methodology was adopted in developing this application, following structured and systematic stages. The application involves five main actors—Admin, Owner, Teacher, Student, and Visitor—each having tailored access to relevant features. Technically, the application is built using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and PHP, supported by the Bootstrap framework for a responsive interface, while MySQL is used as the database to store data. The objective is to enable more effective, accurate, and efficient SPP payment recording and teacher payroll processing while minimizing human errors due to oversight..

Abstract

A house is a primary need that everyone must have, yet not everyone can afford to purchase it outright. Therefore, a bank is needed as a financial institution to provide financial assistance through credit disbursement. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) offers several Home Ownership Credit (HOC) programs with the Murabahah sale and purchase contract. The current analysis of eligibility determination for granting KPR credit at Bank BSI does not yet utilize an appropriate method for decision-making. This study aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method to assist Bank BSI in analyzing KPR customer data quickly, accurately, and precisely. The ARAS method focuses on comparison with an ideal solution, ensuring that the best alternative approaches optimal conditions based on the specified criteria. The results of this study can help Bank BSI determine the eligibility of KPR credit disbursement more effectively, and the system can rank customer data as eligible or not eligible based on predefined value thresholds.

Abstract

Accreditation is one of the important aspects in ensuring the quality of education in higher education, accreditation assessments are carried out periodically by accreditation institutions. The effectiveness of the accreditation process can be a challenge for Universitas Internasional Batam (UIB) in managing and accessing information related to the required accreditation data quickly. In supporting the accreditation team, a solution is needed that can facilitate the acquisition of information quickly and accurately. The design of a chatbot based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) is considered capable of understanding and responding to questions naturally according to the needs of the accreditation team. This chatbot is designed to provide access in the form of statistical data related to student graduation, lecturer research, and other relevant data related and needed as a consideration for accreditation more efficiently. For this reason, the accreditation chatbot is expected to increase the efficiency of the accreditation team's work and become an innovative solution in managing accreditation information.
