Abstract

This research contained about the implementation of civic education competency in college; in order to face the globalization defiance, this research has done at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The aim of this research is to know how the implementation of civic competency that consist of civic knowledge, civic skill, and civic disposition. This research used qualitative features with descriptive methode, the result of this research shows that the implementation of civic education competency in order to face the globalization defiance can be happened by three steps. The first step is planning, in planning step, the civic education supporting lecturer made a study planner for every semester together that customized with regular requisite book from directorate general and student affairs of Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. In arrangement of civic education learning in college has the competency that must accomplished by students and the implementation which in civic knowledge. Student got the knowledge from lecturer through the process teaching and learning in class about the materials that already made based on the study planner for each semester. After the first competency, next to the second one which is civic skill. For this compentency, students had given the activity that could build their critical thinking. Project citizen, one of the activity that given to students to reach their more knowledge potentions, especially their skill as student college. The last competency is civic disposition, this competency is the result of mixed two competencies; citizenship knowledge and citizenship skill. From citizenship character competency, in hopes that the students could get the knowledge and skill that shows a good personality based on Undang-Undang Dasar 1945, so they will not easily get contaminated by the negative impacts of globalization.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality of the field when making initial observations that menunyarat that students are considered less active, less attention to the lessons described by teachers. One of the goals of this research is to improve the learning process by using Think Talk Write learning model which aims to improve student learning outcomes. The research design is done through two cycles, starting from planning, execution, observation, reflection, and continuing with next cycle planning. Classroom Action Research took place from January 12, 2017 to March 42017 by using data collection tools from test results and learning outcomes learning instruments. Students' learning outcomes in each cycle experienced an increase evidenced from the results of the cycle I 73% and 86% cycle II. Reinforced by the average of pretest result in cycle 1 is 54,16 while for result of postest for cycle I is 71,25, mean that in cycle I mean result of student learning up 17,09%, while for postest cycle II average 80.4 means that in cycle II the average of student learning outcomes up 9.15%. Based on the data, if the average pretest of cycle I is 54,16 and posttest result of cycle II 80,4 then the average increase of student learning result from pretest cycle I until post cycle II is 26,24%. Thus it can be concluded that using the Think Talk Write (TTW) model can improve student learning outcomes. So it is recommended for teachers related to education to apply and develop the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model as an alternative in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The research problem of this class action is the low motivation to learn civics class X AP 2 SMK Pasundan ! City ofSerang in the academic year 2017. The purpose of this research is to increase student’ motivation on the subjects ofcivic education. The results of this research can be direct benefit to the school is to improve the quality of civiceducatin, besides that it is also useful for teachers and students. This reseach implemented in three cycles, whereeach cycle includes the activites of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Teh subjects of the research arstudent of class X AP 2 as man as 46 student. The troubleshoothing method used is to apply cooperative learningmodel Two Stay – Two Stray on the subjects of civic education, the instrumens of the research is using observationsheet increase student motivation and field notes, implementation of the research conducted collaboratively wihtteachers as obsever and researchers act ang implementers. The results of this research show in creased studentmotivation. The cycle I with an average of 40, 10 % the cycle II with an avarege 57,82% The cycle III with anavarage of 81,95% There fore this classroom action research is successful so the researchers recommended theimplementation of learning model Two Stay – Two Stray can increase student’s motivation on the subjects of civiceducation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the role of Legal Counselors in the Regional Office of the Banten Ministry of Law and Human Rights in the socialization of free legal aid for the poor. In this research the authors use a methodology with a qualitative approach. In the research to be conducted, researchers will use three data collection techniques, by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this research are that legal aid regulated by Rule Number 16 of 2011 years concerning Legal Aid, is the state's obligation to provide the rights of every citizen to get legal protection and human rights, especially for the poor. The provision of legal aid as a state obligation to implement the constitutional rights of the poor is to provide funding to legal aid organizations with the State Budget. The state is present to provide legal assistance, one of which is by means of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Banten. The method of socialization about free legal assistance to the poor is done by legal counseling activities with direct and indirect methods; firstly, legal counseling is carried out solely by law enforcement officers from the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Banten. Secondly, legal counseling is carried out by accredited legal aid organizations but with budgets derived from legal aid funds from the state with the authority of budget users from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Abstract

Based on the fact that there is no end to the problems of education that occur in our country even though the government has worked hard to change it. The irrelevance between expectations, the process and the results achieved in education. Thus there are certainly other factors, one of which is the willingness or interest of students towards learning. The purpose of this study is 1) To find out how much the students' willingness to learn in improving the intellectual intelligence of students of SD Negeri Pandeglang district. 2) To find out the factors and efforts to improve the intellectual intelligence of students of SD Negeri Pandeglang district. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. While the data source was obtained through informants as research subjects using data collection techniques in library research and field research (research locations) by observing, documenting, interviewing guidelines for several informants namely students, teachers (SD) in the State of Pandeglang Regency. Then the data is analyzed correctly. The data obtained from the results of the study is that students 'interest in learning to improve students' intellectual intelligence in the area of ​​Pandeglang Regency cannot be categorized well. This can be proven from the findings of researchers that students of the SD Negeri Pandeglang Regency will their interest in learning only reach 50%. From 4 schools based on the results of research data, with a low willingness to learn so that 32.18% of students cannot read and write.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe how the role of the Badan Permusyawartan Desa in improving local democracy and to find out what are the obstacles of the Badan Permusyawaratan Desa in raising local democracy in the Desa Kramatlaban Kecamatan Padarincang Kabupaten Serang Provinsi. Banten. This research used qualitative research methods with data analysis techniques used which are descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the Chairperson of the BPD Kramatlaban, the Secretary of the BPD Kramatlaban, Village head of the Kraatlaban, village secretary of the Kramatlaban and Kramatlaban Village community. The results of the study indicate that the BPD in Desa Kramatlaban has carried out its main tasks and functions, namely establishing Village Regulations with the Village Head, accommodating and channeling community aspirations, and carrying out the supervision of the performance of the Village Head properly. The obstacles of the BPD in carrying out its role are 2 (two) factors, namely internal and external factors. The following are internal factors: (1) Facilities, (2) Financial constraints, (3) Limited time. Whereas for external factors: (1) Less optimal participation from the community,. The efforts made by the BPD to improve local democracy are (1) Providing knowledge to the public about the importance of democracy, (2) Provide every information report on the implementation of the village community to the village government, and (3) Hold socialization with the community related to the functions and duties of BPD.

Abstract

The Role of Society in the Moral Development of Children Due to Divorce Parents in Kapuren Village, Walantaka District, Serang City, Banten. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Banten Jaya University. This study aims to determine how the role of the community on children's moral development in the Kapuren Village. The subjects of this study are the Village Chief, Divorce Actors, Children and the Community. This researcher uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach because to see the facts and conditions in the field that occur when the research takes place by presenting what actually happened. The results of this study indicate that there is still a lack of community's role in children's moral development due to parents' trust.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the role of Pancasila education subject as general compulsory subject in developing students` personality based on Pancasila values. The background of this research was related to the problems which happened in this country: anarchism, radicalism, terrorism, and other problems those could be able to damage the unity and integrity of the republic of Indonesia. Therefore, Pancasila education subject must be implemented in a university, this is in accordance with Law No. 12 of 2012, article 35 paragraph 3. The place of this research was at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This research used qualitative approach and descriptive method. The results of this research shown that Pancasila education subject at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University had a very important role in developing students` personality in accordance with the values of Pancasila, this could be seen in learning achievements: cognitive, psychomotor, affective. In the achievement of cognitive, the students were taught some materials related to the semester learning plan, with the aim was to make students having knowledge of Pancasila, the achievement of psychomotor emphasized to students` skills by using learning methods as a form of student centered learning. In affective achievement could be seen in the students personality which had been in accordance with the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the professionalsm of teachers in increasing the learning motivation of grade VII D student in MTs Al-Khairiyah Pipitan. the research method used is descriptive analysis research with a qualitative approach. Date collection techniques used by researchers in this study are through observation, interviews and documentation. The source of data in this qualitative research is the information directly from sources of information that are consideret to be related to the professionalism of PPKn teacher in MTs Al-Khairiyah Pipitan.The results of the study showed that the professionalsm of the teachers of PPKn at MTs Al-Khairiyah pipitan had specialized expertise by an expertise or specialization education program. have the ability to understand students. the ability to develop learning outcomes assessment tools and the learning process. Based on the results of research that PPKn teacher professionalsm offorts to improve student motivation by giving number/prizes, prizes,rivals/competitions,and giving tests.

Abstract

As per the laws and regulations the regional government is obliged to submit a statement of accountability at the end of the term of office. The report contains information on the implementation of Decentralization, Co-Administration and Public Administration. The methodology in this research was carried out by the method of library study (documentary study) to collect data and information. The documentation study was carried out by conducting a comparative study of policy documents that became legal references, including: (1) Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2012-2017, (2) Banten Provincial Regulation Number 3 of 2015 Concerning Changes Banten Province Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget 2015 and (3) Official BPS News. The results of the study found that the information conveyed in the report did not adjust to the indicators, benchmarks and achievements as stated in the 2015 RKPD. There was no visible relationship between vision, mission, goals and performance achievements in 2015. The performance of the Banten provincial government in general, have not yet achieved the vision and mission stated in the 2012-2017 RPJMD document.
