Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the effectiveness and application of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method, especially on the Focused Improvement pillar on the Printing Packaging machine at PT. Ultra Prima Plast. The research was conducted using quantitative data and an Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) analysis approach. The OEE value was analyzed using Six Big Losses (SBL) to find the dominant factor causing the loss. The loss factor is then classified with the 80/20% formula as a reference for making Fishbone Diagrams. Fishbone Diagram analysis is carried out to find the cause and effect or root causeof each loss. The root of the problem obtained is then given a suggestion for improvement and analyzed using the 5W+1H method. The results of the study obtained an average value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of 28%. Thisvalue is obtained from several calculations including the Availability Rate 97%, Performance Rate 20% and Quality Rate 98%. This value is still below the world category that has been seet by JIPM. which is 85%. The losses on the printing packaging machine are yield losses wich is 58% and reduce speed losses which is 23%. The roots on the problem found were the absence of planed maintenance and autonomus maintenance on Laminasi packaging machine and unmaintained environment inadequate knowlage of human resources and negligance of work procedures in the field.

Abstract

PT EDS Manufacturing Indonesia is dedicated to providing high quality products to its customers. The quality control system implemented ensures that the company does not to: Accept defective products, Manufacture defective products, and Pass defective products. In the January-November 2022 period, there was an increase in defects with an average of 2.2%, which previously in 2021 was only at 1.7%. In order for the products produced to be in accordance with consumer expectations, the company must take effective quality measures made and avoid the large number of damaged or defective products supplied to the market. Quality Control Circle (QCC) is a form of emphasis instrument commonly used in many companies to manage and improve product quality using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) cycle. The types of defects that often occur in the production of wirring harness (Suzuki) in the January-November 2022 period are: not click connector defects of 1486, not click docking connector of 726 and missing spot of 473. Known factors that cause the occurrence of not click connectors are: human factors, method factors, and environmental factors. Factors that cause not click docking connectors are: human factors, method factors, and machine factors. The factors causing the missing spot are: human factors and method factors. After the improvement, there was a decrease in the disability rate from the previous condition by an average of 2.2%, to 1.4%. At the stage that has been done, to get sustainable results and continue to control the quality of the products produced, the improvements made need to be made a standard. The standardization is made in the form of SOPs and must be applied to all related elements.

Abstract

UPTD adalah Unit Pelayanan Teknis Daerah. UPTD Perlindungan Sosial is to carry out operational technical activities of the Office in the field of Social Protection, as outlined in the "Banten Governor Regulation Number 19 of 2018 concerning the Establishment of Organization and Work Procedures of Service Branches and Regional Technical Implementation Units within the Banten Provincial Office. The purpose of public service is to increase public trust in the government. Purpose This study knows the extent of abandoned children's satisfaction and what services must be improved on the five dimensions of service qualityThe methods used are Service Quality (Servqual), Data Collection Methods in this study Observation, Documentation and Questionnaires with 15 attribute statements. Based on the results of Gap Servqual data processing, 3 (three) attributes were obtained which are included in improving service quality. The Assurance dimension on the attribute (X9) with a gap of -0.59, (X8) with a gap of -0.04 and the Responsiveness dimension on the attribute (X4) with a gap of -0.25.The conclusion of this study, there are still 2 dimensions with unfavorable results, namely the Assurance and Responsiveness dimensions. UPTD Perlindungan Sosial Banten Province is expected to consider proposed improvements using the 5W+1H that the researcher has provided.

Abstract

Marketing strategies are needed by Citra MSME actors to face competition in the target market. This research is a type of qualitative and quantitative research with the use of SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) methods as data analysis. And it is supported by the use of IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Strategy) matrix, EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) matrix, SWOT matrix, SWOT diagram, and QSPM matrix as the decision making. The purpose of this study is to determine the appropriate marketing strategy applied to the Citra City of Serang SMEs according to the internal and external environment owned. The results of this study indicate that the results of the IFAS matrix are 3,246 and the results of the EFAS matrix are 3,213. So that on the SWOT diagram it can occupy a quadrant 1 position, which means that MSMEs The environmental image of Peksrungan is in a strong position and has many opportunities. In accordance with the results of the SWOT matrix and the QSPM matrix, the appropriate strategy to be applied is the W – O Strategy with a rank 1 in the QSPM matrix 1. Increasing promotions to offset the promotion of new competitors and utilizing social media to show product quality 2. Marketing is expanded to the Ciruas - Cikande area as a measure to expand the distribution area.

Abstract

PT. Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk, menjadi salah satu produsen baja di Indonesia. Salah satu produknya adalah Cold Rolled Coil (CRC). Cold Rolled Coil tersebut harus melalui proses pencucian pada Continuous Pickling Line (CPL). Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlu diterapkan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi serta menggunakan teknik Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) untuk mengukur kinerja mesin, dan untuk mencari penyebab ketidakefektifan mesin dilakukan perhitungan Six Big Losses. Berdasarkan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness di Continuous Pickling Line (CPL) pada tahun 2021 sebesar 32,75 %. Nilai OEE tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kerugian dari analisa Six Big Losses dan dibuatkan Diagram Pareto untuk menjadi acuan perbaikan. Kerugian terbesar adalah Reduce Speed Losses 69,10 % dan Equipment Failure Losses 19,66 %. Lalu dibuatkan Diagram Fishbone untuk disusun rancangan perbaikan dengan 5W+1H dan hasilnya terdapat 14 usulan perbaikan Reduce Speed Losses dan 12 usulan perbaikan Equipment Failure Losses.

Abstract

This study analyzes the risks in the procurement process at ORC using the House of Risk approach. The methodology used in this study includes: identification of various risks related to the procurement process, measurement of the probability of risks, and the impact of designing an effective risk mitigation strategy. Risk identification is carried out through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies related to practical work topics. The results of the phase 1 HOR analysis identified the five best risk mitigation strategies, namely: clearly informing the requirements and format of the bidding documents they must prepare and providing an easily accessible and understandable written guide on the procurement procedure (PA1), ensuring that the selection criteria for each aspect (administrative, technical, HSSE Plan, and commercial) have been clearly and objectively established before the selection process begins (PA5), ensure the HPS/OE covers all relevant costs, including direct and indirect costs, as well as reasonable profit margins (PA4), ensure the definitive officer has allocated authority or delegation of duties to staff or other officials who may temporarily replace them (PA2), conduct a thorough assessment of the availability of local supplies necessary to meet the TKDN value (PA3). This study provides recommendations to implement identified mitigation strategies and regular monitoring for improved risk control. The results of this study contribute to the development of procurement risk management in ORC and become a reference for decision-making in risk mitigation at the procurement stage.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) Leun Deund operating in the food industry, specifically in bread production. The enterprises is currently facing issues related to a shortage of human resources, which results in unmet consumer demand and frequent delivery delays. The purpose of this research is to improve supply chain performance based on the SCOR method indicators with the lowest values, thereby increasing production efficiency. The method employed in this study is the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model, which measures supply chain performance through five core processes. Data analysis revealed 16 performance indicators and five key attributes, including. A questionnaire was distributed to 7 individuals in the company, and performance indicators were weighted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to prioritize processes for higher operational efficiency. The findings from the research suggest that the performance of the supply chain performance measurement has a final value of 28.16, which falls into the "poor" category. Therefore, improvements are needed through the creation of standard operating guidelines for the delivery process, which has the lowest final value of 2.83.

Abstract

PT. Krakatau Osaka Steel is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry which produces Reinforcement Bar, for the product under study, namely S36, which experienced an increase in product defects with dimensions that did not meet standards. The aim of this research is to determine optimal parameters to reduce product defects in S36 products. This research was conducted using the Taguchi method. The Taguchi method can be used in companies to evaluate a process or product that is not yet efficient so that a process or the results of the product produced can be maximized. The setting parameters used are rolling speed (s) and raw material heating time (s), the standards of which have not yet been determined. Data was collected by conducting parameter experiments and analyzed using Minitab 20 software. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the most influential parameter is rolling speed and the optimal parameter for defective product results with the largest S/N Ratio value is at level 2 for rolling speed. namely -1.915 with a speed of 50 seconds and level 3 for heating time, namely -2.401 with a heating time of 3000 seconds. So, the optimal improvement proposal is to set parameters of 50 seconds for rolling speed and 3000 seconds for heating time.

Abstract

As a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise that is engaged in the food business, namely crackers, the raw material used in Citra UMKM is wheat flour which is the main raw material in making crackers. raw material . In this study, the authors review controls to determine the size of the safety stock. the availability of raw materials for Citra UMKM by comparing the two availability systems. This study aims to determine the amount of safety stock and when to reorder and compare the availability control system that has been carried out by Citra UMKM using two availability control systems, namely the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and the Just In Time (JIT) method. After further analysis showed that in controlling the inventory of raw materials, the costs incurred by Citra UMKM were greater than those using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and the Just In Time (JIT) approach. Meanwhile, if the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) approach is compared with Just In Time (JIT) with each of the total inventory costs between companies, EOQ and JIT are IDR 10,000,000, IDR 1,109,995 and IDR 934,924, using the JIT approach is superior because the number of higher orders and lower total inventory costs.

Abstract

PT. Niaga Nusa Abadi is a company engaged in sales, distribution and marketing. Established in 2012. It is known that PT. Niaga Nusa Abadi has never carried out an energy audit since the company was founded. After collecting data, it can be seen that the lighting and air conditioning in several rooms do not comply with SNI standards. Energy audit technique used to calculate the amount of energy consumption in a building. Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) is the quotient between total energy consumption during a certain period (one year) and the building area. The IKE unit is kWh/m2 per year. Energy saving opportunities are the potential to reduce energy use in a particular system or process in an efficient manner without compromising comfort. PT. Niaga Nusa Abadi has an area of ​​713.42 m2, an office with an area of ​​139.5 m2 and a warehouse with an area of ​​574.24 m2. After carrying out calculations, it can be seen that the initial energy audit is 52.77 Kwh/m2 per year. Carrying out detailed energy audit calculations of 46.79 Kwh/m2 per year. Recalculating the energy audit after carrying out improvements to lighting and air conditioning, it was found to be 52.27 Kwh/m2 per year. After making improvements to the lighting system and air system (AC), it is ideal and meets SNI standards. IKE after making improvements amounting to 52.27 kWh/m2 per year. IKE after carrying out repairs experienced an increase of 10% but the suitability and comfort of building users can be fulfilled and can increase user productivity
