Jurnal Penelitian Enjiniring Fakultas Teknik Unhas
Jurnal Penelitian Enjiniring (JPE) merupakan media publikasi ilmiah untuk hasil-hasil inovasi terkini dalam bidang kajian dan rekayasa ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi keteknikan. JPE diterbitkan dalam dua bahasa dunia (bi-lingual), yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris. Berbagai bidang ilmu yang sangat popular, menarik dan spesifik dalam rumpun ilmu keteknikan seperti Teknik Arsitektur dan Pengembangan Wilayah Kota; Teknik Elektro dan Informatika; Teknik Geologi dan Pertambangan; Teknik Mesin dan Industri; Teknik Perkapalan dan Ilmu Kelautan; serta Teknik Sipil dan Lingkungan merupakan disiplin ilmu-disiplin ilmu yang menjadi topik utama dan konsen publikasi JPE. Selain itu bidang-bidang lain yang relevan termasuk diantaranya kajian sosio-ekonomi, kajian aspek keamanan (security) dan kajian aspek kesehatan yang terkait dengan bidang-bidang kajian utama diatas dapat pula diterima manuskrip ilmiahnya untuk dievaluasi nilai orijinalitas, kebaharuan dan kualitasnya oleh Tim Evaluator Ahli. Mulai tahun 2016, JPE-UNHAS terbit secara periodik sebanyak 2 kali dalam setahun, yakni edisi Mei dan edisi November.

Classification of Strawberry Maturity Based on Color Segmentation using HSV Method. Manual fruit maturity classification has many limitations because it is influenced by human subjectivity. Hence, the application of digital image processing and artificial intelligence becomes more effective and efficient. This study aims to create a classification system that automatically divides strawberry maturity into three categories, namely not ripe, half-ripe, and ripe. The process of identifying the level of fruit maturity is based on the color characteristics Red, Green, Blue (RGB) value of the image. The method used for color segmentation is Hue, Saturation, Value (HSV) and for the classification of strawberry maturity using the Multi-Class Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm with a Radial Basic Function (RBF) kernel. Strawberry image data was retrieved using the Logitech C920 camera. The dataset consisted of 158 images of strawberries. The results showed that the classification of strawberry maturity using the multi-class SVM algorithm with kernel parameters RBF cost (C) = 10 and gamma (γ) = 10-3 produced the highest accuracy of 97%.

Sorong is a city that has been planned as an economic center that will serve Eastern Indonesia. This makes Sorong City planned as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) based on the national spatial plan. The development that occurred in Indonesia is more dependent on economic aspects without looking at other aspects so that the need for industrial estate planning that not only involves economic aspects, but involves social aspects and environmental aspects. The purpose of this plan are: 1) know the current location of industrial estate in terms of the principles of green industry; 2) evaluate the principles of green industry, especially in determining the location; 3) draw up direction for the development of the industrial area of shoves based on the principles of green industry. This research uses scoring method, spatial analysis, and conceptual analysis. this study found that based on the principle of green industrial location, the application of these principles had a total application of 75.6% and on the principle of sustainable site, the area of land was classified as "very appropriate".

The development of the industrial now increasingly rapid because the companies compete each other to be excellent in their fields. Companies can survive in the midst of competition if the company is able to increase efficiency. One of the way is to control inventory. This research was conducted to make the planning and control of the optimal needs of raw material and component at PT. X by applying the Wagner Within Algorithm method to achieve the Mbox production target. Types of raw materials and component in forming one Mbox product unit consist 18 types of component and 6 types of raw materials. Data processing will be done by setting the Mbox request every period. After that, inventory control costs are calculated using the 3 step Wagner Within Algorithm method. From the calculation results obtained by order lot size which results in a total inventory cost of Rp. 54.109.030. with component production every period must be fulfilled and raw material ordering is done at the beginning of the period to meet the production needs to entire period. Except for 1,5 mm steel plate order, which are ordered 6 times. The difference is due the calculation results from the Wagner Within Algorithm method which requires bookings made at certain periods.

The Pattern of Sea Transportation Network in the Region of Pangkajene and Islands Regency. Geographically, Pangkajene Islands Regency consist of land and islands, with a sea area of 11,464.44 km2, with 115 islands, 73 inhabited islands and 42 uninhabited islands. These conditions require a reliable sea transportation network to improve connectivity between the regional growth centers and the local growth centers. This study discusses the pattern of passenger movements, and plans for developing a sea transportation network system in the island cluster of Pangkajene Islands Regency using the method of cross classification analysis or category analysis to obtain the pattern of trip generation, as well as the gravity model analysis method for calculating the number of passenger movements. The results showed that, the high potential for passenger movement in the islands, but the availability of transportation networks and services is still low, identified several islands as the main economic center that serves as a hub port to connect the surrounding islands that function as feeders, including Balang Port Lompo and Sarappo Lompo Port in Liukang Tupabbiring District; Gondong Island Bali and Sabutung Island in Liukang Tupabbiring Utara District; Matalaang Port, Sapuka Lompo Harbor, and Sailus Harbor in Liukang Tangayya District; and Dewakang Lompo Port, Kalukalukuang Port and Pamantawang Port in Liukang Kalmas District.

Lumpue Beach Subsurface Profile Analysis of Parepare City. This study aims to analyze the subsurface profile of Lumpue beach which is directly contaminated with activities around the coast. In this study, the Wenner Schlumberger method was used in the Lumpue beach area, Perepare City, South Sulawesi Province. The tool used is a multichannel geoelectric with a maximum length of 480 m in each trajectory, in this study there are 3 trajectories in which the first trajectory is 480 m with depth as deep as 91.2 m and the resistivity results obtained range from 0.207 -> 97.8 Ωm which identified as alluvium containing clay soil, silt soil, sandstone and pyroclastic rock bolder that has been contaminated by sea water. At lane 2 intersects the middle lane 1 with a length of 240 m and identified depths of 91.2 m, the recorded resistivity results range between 5.52 -> 623 Ωm where the resistivity value identifies the alluvium material, which contains clay, silt soil , sandstone that has been contaminated with water and the presence of some pyroclastic rock inserts that are contaminated by water. Whereas lane 3 intersects lane 1 at the end with a lenght of 240m and a depth of 91.2 m, while the recorded resistivity results range from 0.354 - 11776 Ωm where from the recorded resistivity results the material contained in lane 3 is the inserted alluvium material. by pyroclastic rocks. The area covered by the track is an area with alluvium material which is an alluvial unit and most of it is contaminated by water, either by sea water or fresh groundwater and is inserted by pyroclastic rocks.

Hazard Navigation Map Analysis on Risk of Ship Collision (Case Study: Water way of Port of Makassar). Accidents in Indonesian Marine Transportation should be a concern of all parties that effect accumulation of dangers score from some factors, based on data from the KNKT (Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi) ship accident investigation report. The collision cases were among the highest in recent years and most collisions occurred in the harbor area. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compile the danger score criteria that affect ship collision risk from several factors consisting of ship condition factors, human factors, environmental factors, machinery factors, and management factors. The research was conducted with the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. AHP method is used to create a model of the problem that has no structure, applying to problems measurable (quantitative), as well as problems that need an opinion from expert or a complex situation or do not have a frame work. AHP stages are decomposition problem, assessment and comparison of the elements of the synthesis in priorities. The result showed that human factor is the highest priority that affects the value of danger score in Makassar Port to the value of 0.395 or 39% and management factors with the lowest priority value of 0.073 or 7.3%. While the total value of danger score in Makassar Port with AHP method is 196.95 which means at the level of a fairly safe.
