Abstract

Prediksi gerak kapal di atas gelombang nonlinear menjadi perhatian mendalam saat ini. Sehinggabanyak peneliti berupaya keras membuat metode baru dan atau mengembangkan suatu metodeyang lebih akurat dan tepat. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini kami mengembangkan suatumetode a coupled Eulerian Scheme with Lagrangian Particle dan mengaplikasikan pada berbagaijenis kapal. Pengembangan metode ini akan diaplikasikan untuk memprediksi gerak heave danpitch kapal Feri penyeberangan di gelombang nonlinear. Hasil simulasi numerik menunjukkanbahwa perbandingan time history dari elevasi gelombang hasil numerik dengan teori cukup stabilpada numerical wave tank. Selanjutnya, maksimum nilai volume error | 7,6 10 | 2  % dan ratarata| 7,31 10 |% 3  , ini menunjukkan bahwa numerical wave tank stabil dan dapatmengkonservasi volume air sangat baik. Tendensi dan konsistensi hasil numerik sama dengan hasildari Strip theory. Hasil gerak heave hasil numerik untuk Hw/L=0,02 dan 0,75 pada L<0,5 tidakterlalu signifikan berbeda dibandingkan dengan hasil Strip theoy, namun pada kondisi L ≥ 0.5menunjukkan nondimensional heave untuk Hw/L = 0,02 lebih kecil daripada Hw/L = 0,75.Nondimensional gerak pitch Hw/L = 0,02 dan 0,75 di sepanjang L menunjukkan hasil numeriklebih besar dibandingkan dengan hasil strip theory. Selain itu pula, nilai nondimesional gerakpitch untuk Hw/L = 0,02 lebih kecil dari nilai Hw/L = 0,75.

Abstract

Kapasitas dermaga pelabuhan penyeberangan dinyatakan dalam satuan tonase kotor (GT) kapal, yaitu: tonase > 1000 GT, tonase antara 500 GT dan 1000 GT, dan tonase < 500 T, masing-masing untuk pelabuhan penyeberangan kelas I, II, dan III. Klaster tonase kapal itu berimplikasi pada kebutuhan lahan perairan pelabuhan. Karena itu, kejelasan tentang elemen ukuran utama kapal yang terbesar pada masing-masing kelompok tonase diperlukan untuk penentuan kebutuhan lahan perairan pada masing-masing kelas pelabuhan. Ada 189 variasi ukuran utama kapal ferry ro-ro yang digunakan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Ukuran utama dan tonase kapal sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus empirik. Variasi panjang antara garis gerak kapal sebanyak tujuh variasi, yakni sekecilnya 29,111 meter dan sebesarnya 64,444 meter dengan interval sebesar 5,889. Tonase kapal sampel terhitung: sekecilnya 169 GT dan sebesarnya 2327 GT. Kapal yang memiliki tonase lebih besar tidak serta memiliki elemen ukuran utama yang semuanya lebih besar dari elemen ukuran utama kapal yang tonasenya lebih kecil. Elemen ukuran utama kapal yang terbesar diidentifikasi pada masing-masing kelompok tonase kapal. Hasil akhir dari penelitian adalah ukuran lahan fasilitas pokok perairan untuk pelabuhan penyeberangan kelas I, II, dan III. Lahan fasilitas pokok perairan pelabuhan penyeberangan kelas I dibatasi untuk pelayanan kapal dengan tonase sebesarnya 1500 GT.

Abstract

Beberapa type kapal tidak dapat memenuhi kriteria stabilitas karena perbedaan karakteristik geometri seperti kapal feri ro-ro Indonesia yang memiliki lambung timbul dan sarat yang kecil dibandingkan dengan lebar kapal. Oleh karena itu, kriteria stabilitas khusus untuk kapal dengan karakteristik geometri yang tidak terakomodir pada kriteria IMO penting untuk dikembangkan. Paper ini membahas tentang pengaruh karakteristik lengan stabilitas terhadap respon gerak roll pada gelombang samping. Hal ini merupakan langkah awal dalam pengembangan kriteria stabilitas yang berbasis karakteristik lengan stabilitas. Respon gerak berupa amplitudo resonansi sebagai fungsi frekuensi eksitasi dihitung dengan menyelesaikan persamaan gerak roll menggunakan metode multiple scale.Karakteristik lengan stabilitas divariasikan dengan tinggi metacentra serta sudut kemiringan dengan lengan stabilitas sama dengan nol tetap sama untuk semua variasi.Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi resonansi menjadi lebih kecil dari frekuensi natural roll untuk koefisien kekakuan lebih kecil dari nol dan lebih besar dari frekuensi natural apabila koefisien tersebut lebih besar dari nol.Gerak roll tidak stabil mulai terjadi ketika amplitudo roll lebih besar dari sudut kemiringan dengan lengan stabilitas maksimum ketika rasio tinggi dan panjang gelombang sama dengan atau lebih besar dari 0.04.Untuk karakteristik lengan stabilitas kapal pada muatan penuh, ketidakstabilan gerak roll mulai terjadi pada rasio tinggi dan panjang gelombang sama dengan 0.06.

Abstract

Since the International Maritime Organization decided to revise its intact stability criteria from deterministic based criteria to be performance based one, some researches regarding the ship performance in waves have been conducted by several researches. One of the dangerous condition reccomended to be included in the criteria was the stability of ships in following waves especially for ship with small coefficient for vertical well-sidedness. Ships with large breadth and draught ratio tends to have large the coefficient for well-sidedness. However large roll angle may occur when the ships operate in large significant wave height. The forward speed also could have significant effect on the roll motion characteristics due to time spend of ship in a certain position relative to the wave. This paper discusses effect of restoring arm variation due to waves characteristics and ship speed on roll motion of ships with large breadth and draught ratio in following waves. The waves characteristics is modelled based on the Beaufort scale and the forward speed is estimated by changing the propeller revolution from 6 rps to 15 rps. The results of numerical simulation and discussions show that amplitude of roll motion significantly affected by variation of the waterline area of the ship in sugging and hogging condition. The large roll angle can be avoided by increasing the forward speed with considering the other dangerous condition such as pure loss of stability and broaching.

Abstract

The Pattern of Sea Transportation Network in the Region of Pangkajene and Islands Regency. Geographically, Pangkajene Islands Regency consist of land and islands, with a sea area of 11,464.44 km2, with 115 islands, 73 inhabited islands and 42 uninhabited islands. These conditions require a reliable sea transportation network to improve connectivity between the regional growth centers and the local growth centers. This study discusses the pattern of passenger movements, and plans for developing a sea transportation network system in the island cluster of Pangkajene Islands Regency using the method of cross classification analysis or category analysis to obtain the pattern of trip generation, as well as the gravity model analysis method for calculating the number of passenger movements. The results showed that, the high potential for passenger movement in the islands, but the availability of transportation networks and services is still low, identified several islands as the main economic center that serves as a hub port to connect the surrounding islands that function as feeders, including Balang Port Lompo and Sarappo Lompo Port in Liukang Tupabbiring District; Gondong Island Bali and Sabutung Island in Liukang Tupabbiring Utara District; Matalaang Port, Sapuka Lompo Harbor, and Sailus Harbor in Liukang Tangayya District; and Dewakang Lompo Port, Kalukalukuang Port and Pamantawang Port in Liukang Kalmas District.

Abstract

Wind force and moment may force a ship to drastically decrease its speed and use a large drift angle as well as a large rudder angle in order to maintain its course. Ships with a small draught might have more risk in maneuvering to its point of view compared with a ship with a larger draught. This paper discusses maneuverability of a ship with a small draught in steady wind. The effect of wind on ship speed, drift angle, and rudder angle are investigated in a steady state condition. Five different ratios of wind velocity to ship speed from 1.0 to 20.0 are used in the simulation. The variation in wind direction is examined from 0° to 180°. Results of the numerical simulation show that the wind has a significant effect on the reduction in ship speed with a wind direction less than 100°. The drift angle increases due to increasing wind velocity in the same wind direction. Wind direction also has a significant effect on the drift angle especially when the wind direction is less than 140°. The same phenomenon was found for the rudder angle. The necessary rudder angle is greater than the maximum rudder angle of the ship when the wind direction is 60° with a wind velocity to ship speed ratio of 20 or more.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemindahan ruangan ABK dari geladak kendaraan ke bangunan atas dilakukan dengan pertimbangan efisiensi peangkutan dengan dilakukan pemindahan tersebut akan menambah jumlah kendaran yang bisa diangkut, akan tetapi dengan penambahan tersebut justru akan memberikan pengaruh terhadap stabilitas kapal utama titik berat, penambahan berat dan sarat. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis, metode yang dilakukan ialah menggunakan untuk menganalisis lengan stabilitas dengan bantuan Maxsurf stabilitas dengan metode benyamin space sedang untuk mengevaluasi lengan stabilitas berdasarkan kriteria umum dan kriteria cuaca sesuai pada Intact stability code,2009. Hasil yang didapat terjadi perubahan titik berat yang tidak signifikan mempengaruhi lengan stabilitas dan berdasarkan evaluasi masih memenuhi kriteria baik kriteria umum dan kriteria cuaca

Abstract

Ethics in Islam cannot be separated from the science of morals in various branches of Islamic religious knowledge. Therefore, ethics in Islam (it could be said) is identical to the science of morals, namely the science of virtues and how to obtain them so that humans will be adorned with them and the science of despicable things and how to avoid them so that humans are free from them. Ethics, on the other hand, is often considered the same as morals. Science and religion are human achievements, which in essence, arise from the same spirit so that humans can survive. In other words, science and religion were born out of necessity, namely to answer various kinds of challenges that humans always face in their existence.

Abstract

Muslim intelectual traditions and societies are charactericed prophetic since its inception, thus marked by specific perception and awareness about the deepest meaning of reality and its relationship with The Ultimate Truth. This perception and awareness play pivotal role in construing everyday lives of society in all aspect, including political one. Although there is no single defenition about the meaning and boundaries of islamic politics, the legacy of propfetic dimension as mentined before still play as doctrinal and operational ground of everyday islamic politics. The purpose of this paper is to shed new light on the basis for islamic politics by recentering insan kamil as a prime example of homo politics in Islam. By examining primer and secunder sources, the purpose of this paper will be reached by utilizing literatur review with content analysis on insan kamil as the role model for homo politics.

Abstract

The main process of shipbuilding consists of several stages of work, including design, fabrication (cutting, shaping or forming), block assembly, outfitting, painting, erection, and work on the pier. The block assembly system is very efficient to be used in a ship production process in modern shipyards. In this system, the assembly's efficiency and productivity depend on the design of the block division; hence, it requires an appropriate design. Generally, the feasibility of the block division design still relies heavily on the expertise of experienced designers who has extensive knowledge of shipbuilding. This study uses 2 (two) block division designs which are based on a plate length of 20 feet (6069 mm) and 30 feet (9144 mm). Based on the division, the characteristics of the blocks' weight, number, dimensions and the number of supply plate material requirements can be obtained. The results show that the characteristics of the weight, number and dimensions of blocks for each plate reference length are different. The total material needed for each design is 773,028 kg and 907,212 kg. The effectiveness of supply material requirements for the design with 20 feet plate is better than the design for 30 ft plate, which is 0.31 compared to 0.41.
