Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership style and work environment on job satisfaction, with work motivation as an intervening variable, among educational staff at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University, Surabaya. The method used is quantitative with a path analysis approach to understand the causal relationships between independent, intervening, and dependent variables. The research sample consisted of educational staff selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The results indicate that leadership style significantly influences work motivation and job satisfaction. Furthermore, the work environment also has a significant impact on work motivation and job satisfaction. Work motivation is proven to mediate the relationship between leadership style and the work environment with job satisfaction. Further analysis reveals that a combination of transformational leadership style and a conducive work environment can enhance the work motivation of educational staff, which in turn strengthens their job satisfaction. This research contributes by providing a more comprehensive understanding of the interaction of these variables in the context of Islamic higher education institutions. This study offers practical implications for institutional managers in designing strategies for improving job satisfaction through optimizing leadership style, improving the work environment, and enhancing work motivation. Additionally, this research enriches the literature on human resource management, particularly concerning the role of intervening variables in job satisfaction models.

Abstract

This study explores the effect of entrepreneurial motivation organizational culture, and skills training on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Gedongmulyo Village. The analysis applies multiple linear regression methods. Data were gathered using surveys distributed to 50 MSME respondents in the area. Results reveal that entrepreneurial drive has a notable positive impact on the performance of MSME operators in Gedongmulyo Village. In contrast, organizational culture shows a significant negative (inverse) influence on their performance. Furthermore, skills training is identified as having a meaningful positive effect on MSME operators' performance. Together, entrepreneurial drive, organizational culture, and skills training explain 69% of the variability in MSME performance, with the remaining 31% attributed to other unexplored factors

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is a quantitative study with an explanatory approach, namely an approach that relies on a number of previous studies as the main milestones to build and strengthen arguments in the hypotheses that researchers present slowly. The data used in this article are secondary data that researchers obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2021. The data obtained were analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool  that the Capital Intensity variable does have a positive relationship direction and a significant influence on Tax Aggressiveness. This is because the P-Value tends to be positive and is below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.000.. In addition, in the next hypothesis, it is also true that the Inventory Intensity variable can strengthen the influence of the Capital Intensity variable on Tax Aggressiveness. This is because something similar if the P-Values are positive and below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.000, is smaller than the direct test of 0.008 Keywords: Inventory Intensity, Capital Intensity, Tax Aggressiveness

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of work discipline, work environment, and work motivation on the performance of employees at Madandan Health Center, Rantetayo Subdistrict, Tana Toraja Regency. The research data were obtained by using questionnaires and documentation from the employees of Madandan Health Center, Rantetayo City, Tana Toraja Regency. The research method used in this study is quantitative research with a sample size of 36 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with statistical calculation tools using SPSS version 25.0.The results of the study show that the work discipline variable has a significant influence on the performance (Y) of employees at Madandan Health Center, Rantetayo Subdistrict, Tana Toraja, with a value of0.048>0.05 and a t-value of 1.840<t-table 2.036. The work environmentvariable has a significant influence on performance (Y) with a value of 0.047<0.05 and a t-value of 2.065>t-table 2.036. The work motivation variable has a significant influence on performance (Y) with a value of 0.011<0.05 and a t-value of 2.0711>t-table 2.036. Work discipline, work environment, and work motivation variables simultaneously have a significant influence on the performance (Y) of employees at Madandan Health Center, Rantetayo City, Tana Toraja, with an F-value of 49.595 (>2.90).

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine and provide empirical evidence on the effect of incentive schemes on employee performance. The study used bonuses, allowances, flexible work arrangements, and career development as components of the company's incentive schemes to employees. The unique characteristics of Generation Z, as the main drivers in optimizing Indonesia's demographic bonus, are considered in this research. This is a quantitative study with a sample comprising 148 Generation Z individuals in Surakarta. The results show that bonuses positively and significantly effect on employee performance. Allowances have a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, flexible work arrangements positively and significantly effect on employee performance, while career development have no effect on employee performance.  Keywords : Bonus, Allowance, Flexible Work Arrangements, Career Development, Employee Performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is a quantitative study with an explanatory approach. The data used in this article is primary data that researchers obtained from various credible sources and have been used in every existing study. The primary data obtained by the study came from 300 employees of PT Sampurna spread throughout Indonesia. The researcher distributed an online questionnaire containing 10 questions from four statements. The data obtained were analyzed using the smart PLS 4.0 analysis tool. The result in this article show that the Financial Literacy variable can have a positive relationship direction and a significant influence on the Investment Interest variable, namely 0.016 which is smaller than 0.05. This is because good Financial Literacy can make employees' thinking good and ultimately interested in investing. The next hypothesis also shows the same results that the Financial Behavior variable can moderate the influence of the Financial Literacy variable on the Investment Interest variable. This is because the P-Values are positive and below the significance level of 0.05, namely 0.000 which is smaller than the direct test of 0.016. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of capital structure, financial performance, and profitability on stock prices with dividend policy as a moderating variable. The sata from this study uses annual reports from the infrastructure sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021-2023. Sixteen companies that fit the sample criteria were included in this study, which used the purposive sampling method for data collecting. To determine the impact of the independent and moderating variable on the dependent variable, the data analysis method employs multiple regression analysis with the SPSS version 25 application. Results of this study explain that profitability on stock prices, while capital structure and financial performance have no effect on stock prices, dividend policy does not moderate the influence of capital structure and financial performance on stock prices.

Abstract

This study analyzes the responsibility of local governments towards victims of the Trans Metro Deli Bus accident using the maslahah mursalah approach. This principle, as part of Islamic law, provides flexibility in making public policies that are oriented towards the public interest and public welfare. Accident data in Medan shows a high number of incidents involving public transportation, demanding strategic steps from the government. This study explores the role of the Medan City Transportation Agency and the Governor of North Sumatra in providing safe infrastructure, strict regulations, and comprehensive victim handling. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of maslahah mursalah can guide social justice-based policies, such as emergency evacuation, medical services, and fair compensation. This policy must be inclusive, transparent, and meet the basic needs of the community (dharuriyah) without contradicting the qath'i nash. Abstract

Persaingan kompetitif pada perguruan tinggi swasta menuntut untuk perguruan tinggi memiliki  nilai keunggulan yang bagi konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji  citra merek dan fasilitas mempengaruhi keputusan pemilihan perguruan tinggi dengan kepuasan konsumen sebagai variabel intervening. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Model -Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah alumni mahasiswa LP3I Lampung sebanyak 535 dariangkatan tahun 2014 sampai dengan tahun 2022, dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 229 responden. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan hasil bahwa Citra Merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap dan Fasilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Memilih. Kepuasan Konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Memilih perguruan tinggi dansecara tidak langsung Citra Merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Memilih perguruan tinggi. Kata Kunci : Citra Merek, Fasilitas, Keputusan Memilih, Dan Kepuasan Konsumen

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of store atmosphere (X1) and service quality (X2) on customer loyalty (Y) through customer satisfaction (Z) as an intervening variable at Harmoni Square Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni. A purposive sampling method was used to distribute a 4-Likert scale questionnaire to 152 customers of Harmoni Square Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni online via Google Form and in person. The structural equation model based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) was used to identify characteristics that have a significant impact on customer loyalty at Harmoni Square Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni. The questionnaire consists of two parts: the first part includes respondent identity data such as name, gender, age, and occupation, while the second part includes research variables such as store atmosphere, service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty. The data analysis results indicate that there is a significant effect and positive value between the store atmosphere and customer satisfaction, service quality and customer loyalty, service quality and customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. However, the store atmosphere and customer loyalty variables have a less significant effect. Furthermore, this study also shows that customer satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between store atmosphere and service quality towards customer loyalty.
