Abstract

Strengthening students' scientific culture is a key focus of higher education in supporting the development of superior human resources. One strategic effort that can be undertaken is through innovative English language learning integrated with students' scientific contexts. This study aims to examine how innovative English language learning contributes to the growth of students' scientific culture in the Accounting Study Program through an autoethnographic approach. The study used a qualitative approach with an autoethnographic design, where the experiences of lecturers teaching English courses served as the primary data source, which were analyzed reflectively and critically. The study was conducted in the English course of the Accounting Study Program at ITB AAS Indonesia. Data were collected through lecturers' reflective journals, learning documentation, and student academic artifacts, then analyzed thematically by linking the findings to the theoretical framework of scientific culture, academic literacy, and English language learning based on scientific contexts. The results showed that innovative English language learning integrated with the accounting context was able to increase students' awareness of the function of English as an academic tool, encourage the development of basic academic literacy, and foster scientific attitudes such as courage to express opinions and active involvement in class discussions. Despite challenges related to differences in student language abilities and limited learning time, this study concludes that English language learning plays a strategic role in fostering a scientific culture in students in non-language study programs. The findings offer theoretical and practical implications for developing innovative English language learning in higher education.

Abstract

The development of financial technology (fintech) has driven the emergence of online lending services as an integral part of Indonesia’s digital financial ecosystem. While these services have the potential to expand financial inclusion, understanding of their penetration levels and consumer behavior patterns remains limited, particularly based on nationally scaled data. This study aims to analyze the penetration of online lending usage and consumer behavior in Indonesia based on generational groups, household expenditure levels, and primary reasons for usage. This research adopts a descriptive quantitative approach by utilizing secondary data from the 2025 Survey on Internet Penetration and User Behavior in Indonesia conducted by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII). The analysis is based on official percentage tables and infographics covering online lending usage status, user distribution by generation and expenditure level, as well as the motivations for using online lending services. The results indicate that the penetration rate of online lending in Indonesia remains relatively low, at approximately 8.21% of internet users. However, usage is concentrated within specific segments, particularly Generation Z and Millennials, as well as households with low to middle expenditure levels. Online lending is utilized for various purposes, with the main motivations including installment-based purchases without credit cards, fulfillment of urgent needs, and financing daily necessities, accompanied by factors such as promotional incentives, ease of process, and lifestyle considerations. These findings suggest that online lending functions, both as a consumption financing instrument and a short-term liquidity buffer. Overall, this study indicates that the primary users of online lending services are digitally adopt groups who simultaneously exhibit higher levels of financial vulnerability. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening targeted digital financial literacy initiatives and consumer protection measures in the development of the online lending ecosystem. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for policymaking and further studies that are more sensitive to generational dynamics and household expenditure structures within the context of Indonesia’s digital finance landscape.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of product quality, product variants and promotions on purchasing decisions for Pinkflash cosmetics in the cosplayer community in Surakarta City. This research is motivated by the increasing consumption of cosmetic products in creative communities who have specific needs for product diversity and digital-based marketing strategies. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design. The research sample consisted of 120 respondents who were members of the cosplayer community in Surakarta and had purchased Pinkflash cosmetics, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire with a Likert scale, then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the analysis show that product quality does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Pinkflash cosmetics. This indicates that product quality is perceived as a basic factor that is inherent in cosmetic products, so it is not a main consideration in making purchasing decisions. On the other hand, product variants were proven to have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, which shows that diversity in product types and colors is an important factor for the cosplayer community in adjusting character makeup needs. Apart from that, promotions also have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, especially through digital promotions and social media which are relevant to the characteristics of young consumers. Thus, it can be concluded that the decision to purchase Pinkflash cosmetics in the cosplayer community in Surakarta is significantly influenced by product variants and promotions, while product quality does not have a significant influence. Abstract

Persaingan antar gerai kopi di Kota Padang semakin ketat sehingga mendorong merek nasional seperti Fore Coffee untuk memperkuat strategi pemasarannya. Meskipun Fore Coffee merupakan merek yang cukup dikenal namun faktanya merek ini sering menempati peringkat ketiga dalam Top Brand Index (TBI). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa citra merek di tingkat nasional belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan kondisi persaingan di tingkat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan citra merek terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen Fore Coffee di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 70 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian, namun pengaruh tersebut tidak signifikan secara statistik. Sebaliknya, citra merek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian yang mengindikasikan bahwa persepsi konsumen memiliki peran yang lebih dominan dalam menentukan keputusan pembelian. Hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk dan citra merek secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa citra merek merupakan variabel yang paling dominan dan menjadi faktor utama dalam keputusan konsumen memilih Fore Coffee. Oleh karena itu, Fore Coffee perlu terus memperkuat citra merek serta menjaga kualitas produknya guna menciptakan dan meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the framework of the Resource Based View (RBV) theory in the perspective of ontology, epistemology and axiology that is put forward in the discussion of strategic management and especially relating to the strengths and weaknesses of the organization. Based on a historical approach and literature review from the opinions of experts who discuss RBV theory in relation to capabilities and competencies in synergizing several partnership models of an organization in creating superior competitiveness. The antecedent of this research is the rationality of the emergence of collaborative organizations that cooperate must have strategic resources and the ability/competence to manage resources. The consequences of this research are partnerships with a systems approach considering the influence of the organizational environment on organizational growth. This paper puts forward the concept of partnership formulation based on RBV values ​​moderated by innovative collaboration principles.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of ice breaking in improving student concentration based on previous research results. Declining student concentration is one of the problems often encountered in the classroom learning process. This condition can be caused by monotonous learning, long learning durations, and a lack of variety in learning strategies that take into account the psychological conditions of students. One strategy that can be used to overcome this problem is the application of ice breaking in learning. The method used in this study is a literature review by examining various national and international scientific journal articles, reference books, and other academic publications relevant to the research topic. The data obtained was analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify key findings related to the implementation of ice breaking in learning. The results of the study show that ice breaking plays a positive role in improving students' concentration by creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, reducing boredom, and helping to restore students' focus on learning. Thus, the application of ice breaking can be used as an effective learning strategy to support the achievement of learning objectives.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of the fourth industrial revolution, the interplay between human capability and technological integration has become the primary determinant of organizational success. This study investigates the impact of digital competence on employee performance, with a specific focus on the mediating role of work motivation and the moderating effect of technology adaptability. As organizations transition toward fully digitized workflows, the mere possession of digital skills may no longer suffice to guarantee high performance; instead, the psychological drive and the fluid ability to adapt to new technological tools play a crucial role. Utilizing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), this research analyzes data from professional employees across various sectors. The results indicate that digital competence significantly enhances work motivation, which in turn acts as a robust predictor of employee performance. Furthermore, the findings reveal that technology adaptability significantly moderates the relationship, suggesting that employees who are more agile in embracing new technologies derive higher motivational benefits from their digital skills. This study provides a comprehensive framework for Human Resource Management (MSDM) to design training programs that balance technical proficiency with psychological resilience and adaptability in the digital era.

Abstract

Dalam beberapa dekade terakhir serta adanya persaingan di era globalisasi, menghasilkan persaingan antar perusahaan yang mengakibatkan perusahaan membuat strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Perusahaan dituntut untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas produk atau layanan. Rumah Sakit merupakan salah satu sektor jasa yang harus memaksimalkan kualitas pelayanan agar pelanggan tetap senang. Kualitas pelayanan yang optimal harus selalu diterapkan dalam setiap industri khususnya pada organisasi pelayanan kesehatan, karena tanpa kualitas pelayanan yang baik maka pasien dan masyarakat dapat kecewa dan akhirnya kehilangan loyalitasnya. Tujuan penelitian ini di harapkan dapat di gunakan oleh manajemen perusahaan sebagai acuan untuk memberikan layanan kesehatan yang baik dengan mengukur Lean Six sigma dan kualitas layanan pada RS Gigi dan Mulut Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam pelnelliltilan ilnil adalah staf Rumah Sakilt Gilgil dan Mulut Unilvelrsiltas Muhammadilyah Selmarang yang berjumlah 55 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan alat bantu kuesioner. Penerapan Continous Quality Improvement dapat mencapai kinerja suatu organisasi. Hal ini dikarenakan, CQI merupakan suatu cara organisai mengadakan peningkatan secara terus-menurus mengarah ke kemajuan yang lebih baik. Penerapan Lean Management Intiviates di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang sebagai peningkatan untuk mencapai kualitas kinerja organisasi. Six Sigma berpengaruh terhadap kualitas kinerja di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang dengan diterapkan Six Sigma Iniviates dapat mendorong suatu layanan kesehatan dengan mendapatkan performa yang tinggi dan membantu organisasi layanan kesehatan menemukan cara untuk memaksimalkan sumber daya, menghilangkan pemborosan dan mendapatkan hasil yang dapat mengurangi biaya dan meningkatkan kepuasan pasien. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of industrial relations for Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Malaysia using a decent work indicator approach, both prioritized and marginalized in the migration decision-making process. This study uses a normative-empirical legal research method, which combines an analysis of labor laws and regulations in Indonesia and Malaysia, including bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with empirical findings in the field. Empirical data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 30 PMIs working in the formal sector in Malaysia, who were selected purposively. The results show that decent work indicators that are the main priority for PMI include legal employment opportunities, relatively higher income, more regular working hours, and access to basic social security for legal migrant workers. These indicators are perceived to provide direct economic benefits and certainty of employment status, thus becoming the dominant factors driving migration to Malaysia. In contrast, decent work indicators related to long-term social protection and worker participation—such as job stability and security, work-life balance, a preventatively safe work environment, and social dialogue and worker representation—tend to be marginalized by migrant workers. Although both countries have legal frameworks that are relatively aligned with International Labour Organization (ILO) standards, their implementation remains selective and does not fully protect the interests of migrant workers. This study concludes that Indonesia–Malaysia transnational industrial relations function more as a migrant worker management mechanism than as a comprehensive protection instrument. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis secara sistematis pengaruh simultan dari Warisan Nilai dan Tren Keuangan Digital terhadap Minat Mahasiswa Generasi Z (Gen Z) di Indonesia dalam menggunakan Tabungan Syariah. Warisan Nilai mencakup dimensi religiusitas dan norma subjektif (sosialisasi), sementara Tren Keuangan Digital diukur melalui Literasi Keuangan Syariah (LKS) dan kemudahan akses Financial Technology (Fintech). Menggunakan metode studi literatur kuantitatif dengan menyintesis temuan-temuan empiris dari literatur terkini (2023–2025), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kontradiksi pada pengaruh parsial religiusitas individual, namun menegaskan pengaruh positif yang konsisten dari sosialisasi, LKS, dan kemudahan Fintech. Hasil sintesis regresi simultan menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelompok variabel secara kolektif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat menabung syariah Gen Z. Fenomena perilaku Gen Z, seperti Loud Budgeting, mengindikasikan bahwa minat memilih produk syariah sangat bergantung pada seberapa jauh platform digital (Tren Keuangan Digital) dapat memfasilitasi implementasi nilai etis (Warisan Nilai) secara transparan dan efisien. Kesenjangan penelitian utama terletak pada belum terujinya peran Kepercayaan Digital sebagai variabel mediasi yang menghubungkan LKS dan Fintech dengan keputusan menabung, yang merupakan kontribusi teoretis penting dari studi ini.
