The utilization of consumables as an educational tool presents an avenue for fostering student creativity and engagement in teaching and learning endeavors. Research conducted at SMK Swasta Pelita Bulu Cina focuses on harnessing consumables to enhance student creativity and serve as educational aids, thereby promoting eco-friendly learning mediums. The research methodology incorporates training, practical application, and socialization efforts. Findings indicate that integrating consumables into learning activities enlivens classroom dynamics, capturing students' interest and attention, particularly when they actively participate in crafting their educational materials. This approach empowers teachers to innovate within the classroom, fostering a more dynamic learning environment and mitigating student disengagement. Consequently, consumables offer a viable strategy for enhancing student involvement and preventing monotony in the learning process.

The Covid-19 pandemic, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has impacted human health and hygiene worldwide. Maintaining hand hygiene is crucial to halt the spread of the virus. Handwashing and the use of hand sanitizers have been recognized as effective methods to prevent virus transmission. Awareness campaigns on the importance of handwashing have increased alongside the virus's spread. This research is a literature review that integrates data from various sources. Data were collected from national journals and critically analyzed to gain a better understanding of the effectiveness of hand hygiene awareness campaigns during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The method employed is descriptive, analyzing data from various sources to present comprehensive information. The research findings indicate that these campaigns have enhanced public knowledge and behavior regarding hand hygiene. Campaigns were carried out through various means such as socialization, teaching, providing handwashing facilities, setting examples, and online campaigns. The objective is to raise public awareness about the importance of regular and proper handwashing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had negative implications for the education sector, including Special Schools. This study was conducted to analyze formal pedagogical practices in Special Schools and the adaptations made by students with disabilities during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study was conducted using qualitative research methods and a phenomenological approach. Robert K. Merton's adaptation theory is used to analyze the types of adaptations made by students with disabilities to formal pedagogical practices during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study finds that the Covid-19 pandemic reproduces formal pedagogical practices in two formats, namely online and hybrid. Apart from that, the form of adaptation of students with disabilities is largely determined by their physical, cognitive, and mental conditions. Among them are students with intellectual disabilities who have the innovation adaptation type, then students with deaf-speech impairments who have the conformity adaptation type, and students with autism have the ritualism adaptation type. This type of adaptation reflects the dynamics and complexity of students with disabilities when carrying out the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This paper aims to elucidate Thaha Husain's thoughts on the use of pre-Islamic poetry in the exegesis of the Quran. Husain was a contemporary Islamic thinker who emphasized the importance of Islamic reasoning in the effort to reconstruct a comprehensive understanding of the Quranic text. The focus of the study primarily addresses the authenticity of pre-Islamic poetry, its urgency in interpreting the Quran, and how the Quran views pre-Islamic Arab society. Husain perceives that Quranic teachings align with rational thought. He endeavors to reconstruct Islamic thought through hermeneutical and critical-historical approaches, particularly through literary and historical lenses. This research indicates that much of the pre-Islamic poetry was not composed during the pre-Islamic era by pre-Islamic Arab poets but by imitators during the Abbasid Dynasty for various purposes: political, religious, storytelling, and hadith narrators. According to Thaha Husain, many pre-Islamic poems do not resonate with pre-Islamic Arabs or objectively depict pre-Islamic Arab society. Husain employs Western scientific concepts such as semiology, philology, and Cartesian deconstruction as analytical tools in examining the Quran. It is not surprising that Husain's skepticism in evaluating pre-Islamic Arab literature has stirred controversy in Egypt.

Established in 1937, Muhammadiyah made its debut in Southeast Aceh through Minangkabau migrants, propagating its teachings and organization. Despite initial challenges, including misconceptions labeling Muhammadiyah as Wahabi or Salafi, it emerged as a Quran and Hadith-based movement. Utilizing historical research methods, this study explores Muhammadiyah's impact on Southeast Aceh, revealing rapid acceptance among the Alas people due to their existing religious understanding. Muhammadiyah significantly influenced the region, targeting social, educational, and religious spheres for renewal. Its presence led to the establishment of educational institutions and social development, resonating deeply with the community's needs. Muhammadiyah's role in Southeast Aceh exemplifies its broader mission to enrich Islamic practices and community welfare, underscoring its profound influence in the region's religious and social landscape. Through its multifaceted initiatives, Muhammadiyah continues to shape the socio-religious fabric of Southeast Aceh, embodying a dynamic force for positive change in the community.

This research is based on the need to address the lack of historical empathy in Indonesia through social studies education. It highlights the importance of promoting the concept of historical empathy, which is currently not widely recognized in the country. The study focuses on the perspectives of 15 junior high school social studies teachers in Palembang City regarding historical empathy. Data was collected through questionnaires, with respondents answering various questions about historical empathy, including its definition, significance, relevant topics, suitable learning resources, methods, challenges faced, and recommendations for teaching it effectively. The findings indicate that there are misconceptions among teachers regarding historical empathy, particularly in distinguishing it from sympathy and understanding its psychological and historical aspects. Despite these challenges, the teachers acknowledge the importance of integrating historical empathy into social studies education. This research provides a foundational understanding of teachers' perspectives on historical empathy in Indonesia.

The emergence of online markets has accelerated social transformation within society, particularly in consumption patterns shifting from conventional to digital modalities. This phenomenon has posed a new challenge for traditional market traders. While some traders are able to adapt by marketing their goods online, the limitations faced by Wonokromo Traditional Market traders force them to survive with only the limited resources they have. This research aims to identify survival mechanisms utilized by traditional market traders in response to the proliferation of online stores. The study employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Findings from this study indicate that the economic conditions of Wonokromo Traditional Market traders are highly unstable, and they sustain themselves through very limited mechanisms, such as welcoming customers warmly, maintaining consistency in trade, clearing out old stock, avoiding market trends, and strengthening solidarity among traders.

One effort to reduce the incidence of stunting is through Communication, Information, and Education to prospective newlyweds through media such as the Elsimil application and YouTube videos. The use of media is expected to make communication more effective, so that the information about stunting conveyed can be well understood by prospective newlyweds. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using the Elsimil application, YouTube video media, and the combination of Elsimil application plus YouTube video on improving the knowledge of prospective newlyweds about stunting. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design on three groups of respondents. The number of respondents in each group was 10 people, making a total sample of 30 people. Data collection was conducted through pretest and posttest questionnaires for each group at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Lengayang Sub-district from August 2023 to September 2023. The data analysis used was paired t-test. The results showed a significant difference in the level of knowledge of prospective newlyweds before and after being treated using each media: Elsimil application, YouTube video, and combination of Elsimil application plus YouTube video. The use of the combination of Elsimil application plus YouTube video media provides more effective results in improving the knowledge of prospective newlyweds about stunting compared to other media.

This article aims to investigate the culture of gotong royong originating from the Angkola-Mandailing ethnicity, especially related to their thick agrarian life. The focus is on a tradition of mutual aid called marsialap ari. This research also uses qualitative methods by analyzing literature sources and conducting field research. Data sources used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Emile Durkheim's theory of social solidarity sees the relevant practice of mutual aid in the marsialap ari tradition of the Angkola-Mandailing community. This practice reflects the values of togetherness, solidarity, and shared trust that are the basis of social solidarity. The results of the study can be concluded that the marsialap ari tradition in the Angkola-Mandailing community is a clear example of strong mutual assistance, where residents help each other in agricultural work voluntarily. This tradition builds a sense of community, cooperation, and joy in carrying out agricultural duties. Although threatened by individualistic values, modern agricultural technology, and shifting values of society, marsialap ari remains important as a mirror of social values that build character, mutual trust, and togetherness in society.

UNO cards are a game that can be played by all groups. Currently, UNO is a game that is often used, so UNO cards as a learning medium is expected to attract students' attention and involvement. Therefore, studies are needed to see how effective UNO cards as a learning medium and researchers promote learning designs using the HLT method to support learning probability using UNO media because of the need for didactic teaching in probability. This literature review took a total of 10 journal articles published in the 2018-2023. The results obtained showed that UNO cards as a learning medium was proven to be effective in helping mathematical thinking skills. The effectiveness of UNO cards as a learning medium in collaboration with HLT approach to develop learning designs for opportunity materials in junior high schools. Guided reinvention from the teacher is adapted to class conditions, and additional activities can also be adjusted to bridge understanding for students.
