Purpose — This study aims to analyze the consumption behavior of halal cosmetic products, focusing on factors such as halal certification, trust, and awareness of halal practices.Method — The population for this research comprises residents of Jakarta who fall within the millennial generation category (born between 1980-2000). The research sample size will consist of 170 respondents selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection will be conducted through questionnaires, and the analysis will be performed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method.Result — Based on the study's findings, it can be concluded that halal certification has a positive and significant impact on both halal trust and awareness. Additionally, trust exhibits a positive and significant influence on the consumption of halal products, indicating that higher consumer trust is associated with increased consumer behavior in consuming halal cosmetic products. However, it was observed that halal awareness does not significantly affect consumption behavior. This implies that an increase in halal awareness does not necessarily correspond to a higher likelihood of consuming halal cosmetic products.Novelty — The unique contribution of this research lies in its focused analysis of the consumption behavior associated with halal products. This study builds upon previous research by delving into specific variables that impact behavior, particularly within the context of halal cosmetic products.

Purpose — The objective of this research is to examine how lifestyle, product diversity, and product quality influence repurchase intention, as well as to investigate whether customer satisfaction can serve as a mediator.Method — The data collection method utilized an online questionnaire with a total of 224 respondents, aged at least 16 years old, who are users of the Shopee application and consumers of the Western skincare brand (Cerave), and have made purchases of the Western skincare brand (Cerave) on Shopee. Respondents were selected using a purposeful sampling method. Structural Equational Modeling (SEM) with the AMOS 24 tool was employed for data analysis.Result — The findings of this research indicate that lifestyle, product diversity, and product excellence have a positive and significant impact on repurchase intention. Customer satisfaction also demonstrates a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, effectively mediating the relationships between lifestyle, product diversity, and product quality on repurchase intention.Novelty — This study focuses on a Western skincare brand as the subject of research, as such brands have received limited attention in prior research. This distinction sets our research apart from previous studies in the field.

Purpose — This study aims to investigate differences in debt policies among companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with a focus on gender and CEO tenure.Method — This research was carried out on non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2022. The sampling method employed in this study was a purposive sampling approach. The initial sample comprised 86 companies, and the final sample consisted of 65 companies, yielding a total of 650 observations. The data analysis technique utilized in this study is the independent difference test, employing a nonparametric approach through the Mann-Whitney test.Result — This study revealed significant disparities in debt policies among companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, depending on the gender of the CEO. Specifically, male CEOs demonstrated a propensity to employ higher levels of debt compared to their female counterparts. Conversely, with regard to CEO tenure within the company, no significant difference was observed in relation to the company's debt policy.Novelty — The novelty of this research lies in its emphasis on the importance of examining the gender and tenure of CEOs concerning the company's debt levels. The extended research period contributes a unique element by providing a more comprehensive perspective, and this is particularly noteworthy in the context of Indonesian studies, which have been relatively scarce and have yielded mixed results.

Purpose — The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX) on world oil prices (WTI), with the US Dollar variable serving as a mediating factor in the exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Russian currency (Ruble).Method — The research employs an associative causality research approach for data analysis. Path analysis techniques are utilized to examine the nexus between Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX) and world oil prices with the US dollar serves as intervening variables. The study relies on secondary data collected on a weekly basis over a two-year period, specifically from 2021 to 2022. A total of 96 sample data points were gathered from various sources, including the internet, papers, books, and other references that support the research.Result — The findings indicate a significant positive impact of the Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX) on the US Dollar/Rubles exchange rate. However, the US Dollar variable does not have a direct effect on world oil prices. Additionally, the Russian Stock Exchange (IMOEX), when mediated by the US Dollar, does not show any significant impact on the world oil price of WTI.Novelty — To the best of our knowledge, no studies were identified that employed the US Dollar as a mediating variable in the Ruble/USD exchange rate. This study introduces a novel aspect by incorporating this mediating variable into the analysis.

Purpose — This study aims to estimate the impact of four key variables - the average length of schooling, the disaster risk index, the labor force participation rate, and the construction cost index - on the percentage of the population living in poverty.Method — This research is a quantitative study that utilizes secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sumatera and Inariks BNPB. It primarily focuses on the variable of poverty. The analytical approach adopted in this study is panel data analysis, which integrates both cross-sectional and time series data. The cross-sectional aspect of the research encompasses 19 regencies/cities within the West Sumatera Province, and the time series data extends from 2017 to 2022. All data processing and analysis are conducted using Eviews 10 software.Result — The research findings suggest that the Fixed Effects Model (FEM) is the most effective approach for analyzing regression models. The estimated results reveal that both the average length of schooling and the labor force participation rate negatively impact the percentage of the impoverished population. In contrast, the disaster risk index and the construction cost index appear to have no influence on the impoverished population percentage.Novelty — This research introduces a novel dimension to the study of poverty, focusing on disaster risk and construction factors that have not been previously explored in earlier studies.
