Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara murid kelas VIII B SMPN 7 Banjarmasin melalui strategi role card. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan murid dalam menyampaikan pendapat, memberikan tanggapan, dan berbicara saat presentasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode mix methods dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 42 murid. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan penilaian keterampilan berbicara pada aspek partisipasi, cara penyampaian, dan kepercayaan diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berbicara murid setelah penerapan strategi role card. Pada siklus I, murid berkategori sangat berkembang sebesar 24%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 71%. Strategi role card mampu meningkatkan keaktifan, kepercayaan diri, dan kemampuan murid dalam menyampaikan gagasan dengan jelas.      Abstract This study aims to improve the speaking skills of class VIII B students of SMPN 7 Banjarmasin through the role card strategy. The research was motivated by the low ability of students to express opinions, provide responses, and speak during presentations. The study used a mixed methods method in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 42 students. Data were obtained through observation and assessment of speaking skills in the aspects of participation, delivery methods, and self-confidence. The results showed an increase in students' speaking skills after the implementation of the role card strategy. In the first cycle, students were categorized as very developed by 24%, while in the second cycle it increased to 71%. The role card strategy was able to increase students' activeness, self-confidence, and ability to convey ideas clearly.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter yang termuat dalam buku Cerita Rakyat Kalimantan Selatan karya H. Yustan Aziddin. Pendidikan karakter dipandang penting sebagai upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur yang mencakup aspek pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan tindakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa teks dalam buku tersebut. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat, maupun paragraf yang memuat nilai pendidikan karakter, melalui teknik studi dokumen dan dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pendidikan karakter dalam buku ini mencerminkan berbagai karakter positif, di antaranya religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kreatif, tanggung jawab, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat atau komunikatif, cinta damai, suka membaca, peduli sosial, dan kerja keras.   Abstract This study aims to describe the values of character education contained in the book Folklore of South Kalimantan by H. Yustan Aziddin. Character education is considered essential as an effort to instill noble values that encompass aspects of knowledge, awareness, and actions in everyday life. This research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach with data sources taken from the text of the book. The collected data include words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and paragraphs that reflect character education values, obtained through document study techniques and analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The results show that the character education values in this book represent various positive traits, including religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, creativity, responsibility, independence, democracy, curiosity, nationalism, patriotism, appreciation of achievement, friendliness or communicativeness, love of peace, reading interest, social care, and hard work.
