Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of improving learning outcomes in mathematics on the subject of FPB and KPK, in class IV students of MI Ma'arif Nu Kedungrandu for the 2022/2023 academic year using the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by dakota media. This type of research is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model. The research subjects were all fourth grade students at MI Ma'arif Nu Kedungrandu in 2022/2023, consisting of 11 students, 8 boys and 3 girls. The object of this research is the results of learning mathematics on the subject of FPB and KPK on students. Data collection was obtained by the observation method and the test method to measure learning outcomes. The results showed that the class average score in cycle I was 82.6 with a weight of easy questions and a percentage of completeness of 80%, in cycle II the class average was 71 with a weight of difficult questions and a percentage of learning completeness of 80%. This research was said to be successful because 8 out of 10 students who took part in the action got a higher score equal to the specified KKM score. So it can be concluded that the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by dakota media can improve learning outcomes in mathematics on the subject of FPB and KPK in class IV students of MI Ma'arif Nu Kedungrandu in 2022/2023.

Abstract

Since being shocked by the corona virus / Covid-19. This virus has spread widely to various parts of the world including Indonesia. Until April, the Indonesian government announced a lockdown policy, namely completing all activities, which carried out settlements in worship activities, schools, offices, or universal facilities, social and cultural activities, modes of transportation, and other activities related to regional security, some of the mandatory requirements followed by regions following lockdown regulations. Courageous learning does not always go as desired, the problems faced by children are difficulty concentrating on learning and many school assignments. This can also cause a feeling of stress, boredom, and has the potential to cause depression in children, on the part of parents also have difficulties in accompanying their children to study at home, due to other responsibilities and difficulties understanding children's lessons and methods, also not understanding applications or features. which is used as a support for the brave learning process. However, in this regard, especially in Pangulah Utara Village, Kota Baru District, Karawang, where generally parents are not highly educated, there are certainly difficulties in this regard. These various obstacles need confirmation between teachers, students, as well as the cooperation between parents and children and parents and good teachers so that the learning process carried out at home can run as expected.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini umtuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa e-modul interaktif pada muatan IPA dengan penguatan karakter mandiri siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sambitan yang valid, praktis, dan menarik. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development dan mengacu pada model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu analyze (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan instrumen wawancara dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil validasi ahli materi dan bahan ajar sebesar 95%, guru sebagai pengguna sebesar 93,75%. Kepraktisan produk mendapatkan persentase 100%. Rata-rata kemenarikan produk sebesar 98,47% dan penguatan karakter mandiri sebesar 98,75%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, e-modul interaktif teruji valid, praktis, dan menarik sehingga bisa dipergunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menguatkan karakter mandiri siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to re-analyze whether there is an effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning approach on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This type of research is meta-analysis. Data obtained from previous research, summarized, reviewed, and then analyzed the research data, and by analyzing from several relevant sources that have been published thoroughly, which relates to using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students. Elementary schools then obtain valid data. The research subjects were students of class V Elementary School. The data collection technique was by browsing e-journal articles through Google Scholar as many as 20 articles in the last 10 years (2012-2022). The research instrument was carried out using an observation sheet. The data analysis technique uses effect size and with the help of SPSS 26. From the overall effect size calculation, the average score obtained is 0.985455155 in the high category. So it can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning approach on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The article aims to analyze the misconceptions of the water cycle material in Grade VI students at SDN Bujel 3 using the three tiers diagnostic test. Misconceptions are misunderstandings in connecting a concept with other concepts, between new concepts and concepts that already exist in students' minds, resulting in wrong concepts being formed and contrary to the conceptions of experts. The purpose of this research is to identify misconceptions that occur in class VI students at Bujel 3 elementary school regarding the water cycle material and to find out the percentage of students at Bujel 3 elementary school class who experience misconceptions about the water cycle material. The type of research we use is descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique used included a three-tier diagnostic test with 18 Grade VI students as research subjects. The results showed that most students were identified as having misconceptions with the largest percentage of misconceptions being on 2 topics, namely Evaporation (55.56%), and Infiltration (50.00%) while the topic with the lowest percentage of misconceptions was on the topic of understanding the water cycle ( 0.00%).

Abstract

Efforts to Improve Students' Writing Skills Through Illustrated Newspapers for Grade 5 SDN 1 Metenggeng. Grade 5 students at SDN 1 Metenggeng, this study aims to improve writing skills. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) with various models. This can be seen from the results of the class action with Kurt Lewin's PTK model, students enthusiastically followed the instructions when the class action was carried out through the use of illustrated newspapers. In addition, before carrying out the lesson, take advantage of comic book media for lesson plans for class 5 topic 2 (clean air for health). This allows students to develop their narrative writing skills. The results of the research show that to draw conclusions by analyzing the characteristics through the main idea of ​​a text in a structured and what it is.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students to understand learning English in the application of the 2013 curriculum using picture media at SD Negeri 1 Kadipaten Tasikmalaya class IV. Learning media is an important component in the learning process in order to achieve learning objectives. The learning media used in this study is using media images which are expected to train students' cognitive abilities in memorizing English vocabulary using media images. Where the number of grade IV students at SD Negeri 1 Kadipaten is 48 people, 10 female students and 40 male students. This research is a type of qualitative research and data collection techniques in this study are through observation and documentation. In this study, students were very enthusiastic in participating in the learning process. We know that in the 2013 curriculum learning English was abolished, this became a trigger for students' learning motivation in learning English. Thus this teaching practice research can be said to be successful in improving students' ability to know and understand English vocabulary through the media of pictures.

Abstract

Setiap calon guru harus memiliki kemampuan mengajar. Untuk mendapatkan keterampilan tersebut, calon guru harus mencoba untuk mempraktikanya secara langsung selain mempelajari materinya. Dari praktik mengajar yang dilakukan, dibutuhkan refleksi terhadap pembelajaran yang sudah dilakukan agar bisa diketahui kekurangan yang harus diperbaiiki untuk kedepannya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hasil refleksi pelaksanaan peraktik mengajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di sekolah dasar. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil beberapa peserta didik belum memenuhi kriteria baik pada tes tulis. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada refleksi mahasiswa saat membuka pembelajaran, refleksi mahasiswa terhadap materi pembelajaran, refleksi mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran, refleksi mahasiswa terhadap metode dan teknik yang digunakan, refleksi mahasiswa terhadap kegaiatan pembelajaran yang terdiri dari; pengelolaan kelas, alokasi waktu, dan komunikasi guru dengan peserta didik, refleksi terhadap hambatan yang terjadi, dan refleksi terhadap penutupan pembelajaran. Dari hasil refleksi praktik mengajar ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar dan mengetahui hambatan apa saja yang terjadi di lapangan. Serta diharapkan dapat bermanfaat untuk calon guru yang akan mengajar bahasa Inggris untuk melakukan pembelajaran yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce interactive Powerpoint-based learning media for the subject of the human digestive system in natural sciences for 5th grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kalangsari. The method used is R&D (Reseach and Development). The research model used is the ADDIE model, with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects used in this study were teachers and grade 5 students at SD Negeri 1 Kalangsari. The results of the study show that interactive PowerPoint-based learning media is very suitable for use in learning the human digestive system for 5th grade elementary school students. This media can also increase students' interest in learning the human digestive system. This interest can be seen from the response of teachers and students after the trial was carried out.

Abstract

The lack of use of learning media can be an inhibiting factor in the teaching and learning process as a result of which learning is not optimal. In order to overcome this, it is necessary to develop learning media. One of the learning media that can overcome this is powerpoint media, powerpoint media is a learning media that was developed to increase students' understanding and interest in social studies subjects. Therefore the authors conducted research. This research is seen as development research which aims to develop powerpoint learning media as social studies learning media for class IV at SD Negeri 1 Parakannyasag. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative model. For data collection techniques used are validity and observation. Powerpoint media was developed by implementing it directly based on the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) procedure. The results of the validity of the material experts and media experts after implementing them at SD Negeri 1 Parakannyasag obtained a percentage of 95% for material experts and 89.2% for media experts so that they can be categorized as valid. Based on the results of research and development, it can be concluded that powerpoint media in social studies class IV material for types of work in elementary schools is appropriate for use in learning.
