Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil kemampuan berbicara siswa sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan metode Role Playing, serta penerapan metode Role Playing pada siswa kelas IV SDN Kondangjaya I. Penelitian ini tergolong ke dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini akan menciptakan kolaborasi peneliti dan guru kelas IV SDN Kondangjaya I. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan test. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data observasi dan analisis data hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, hasil kemampuan berbicara siswa sebelum menerapkan metode Role Playing menunjukan bahwa aspek atau indikator kebahasaan berada pada posisi rendah dengan nilai 126 rata-rata 31,5%, sedangkan dalam aspek atau indikator non kebahasaan dengan nilai 191 rata-rata 31,83%. Penerapan metode Role Playing dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV di SDN Kondangjaya 1 mengalami peningkatan secara signifkan berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa selama menggunakan metode Role Playing. Oleh karena itu, penerapan metode Role Playing merupakan metode yang tepat dalam kemampuan berbicara siswa khususnya jenjang SD. Hasil kemampuan berbicara siswa setelah menerapkan metode Role Playing dengan 2 siklus yaitu hasil siklus I dengan 2 kali pertemuan angka dalam aspek atau indikator kebahasaan tersebut berubah naik menjadi 146 dengan rata-rata 36,5%, sedangkan dalam aspek atau indikator non kebahasaan dengan nilai 207 rata-rata 34,5%. Adapun pada siklus II dengan 2 kali pertemuan ternyata kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas IV di SDN Kondangjaya 1 ini ternyata naik lagi dengan aspek atau indikator kebahasaan menjadi 186, rata-rata 46,5% sedangkan aspek atau indikator non kebahasaan menjadi 288 dengan rata-rata 48.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media busy book, faktor pendukung dan penghambat implementasi model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media busy book, dan keberhasilan implementasi model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media busy book untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian lapangan atau field research, dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: 1) pelaksanaan implementasi model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media busy book dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berjalan dengan baik. Kegiatan pembelajaran terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, kegiatan penutup, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. 2) Faktor pendukung implementasi model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media busy book dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia antara lain, semangat belajar tinggi, motivasi dan minat mempelajari hal baru, perilaku dan sikap, kemampuan dan bakat, kegiatan menarik dan menyenangkan, sarana dan prasarana. Sedangkan, faktor penghambatnya yaitu perbedaan karakter, suasana kelas tidak kondusif, dan kemampuan belajar belum maksimal. 3) Keberhasilan implementasi model pembelajaran word square berbantuan media busy book telah terlihat dari indikator motivasi yang dicapai siswa antara lain, adanya harapan dan cita-cita masa depan, hasrat dan keinginan berhasil, sikap ulet dan tidak pantang menyerah, kegiatan menarik, evaluasi pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat. Sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa motivasi belajar siswa telah meningkat dengan baik.

Abstract

Siswa berkesulitan belajar matematika sering melakukan kekeliruan dalam belajar berhitung dan kekeliruan dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan bilangan cacah terutama pada operasi pengurangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam menjelaskan materi matematika dalam bentuk pengurangan bilangan cacah dan upaya apa yang akan dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengatasinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian yaitu guru kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar Negeri Puncu 1. Hasil wawancara yang dilakukan, guru menyatakan bahwa sudah menggunakan berbagai perangkat pembelajaran seperti kartu bergambar dan berbagai video pembelajaran dan powerpoint interaktif, namun masih banyak kendala yang dihadapi saat memasuki materi operasi pengurangan bilangan cacah, yakni siswa belum memahami cara menentukan hasil pengurangan satuan dengan satuan, puluhan dengan puluhan, ratusan dengan ratusan,siswa saat mengerjakan teknik meminjam langsung mengurangi bilangan besar dan kecil karena mereka belum memahami unsur-unsur operasi pengurangan. Factor yang mempengaruhi kesalahan tersebut adalah adanya miskonsepsi yang tidak terkendali antara guru dan juga siswa.

Abstract

21st century education in the form of education that always moves in line with the progress of the times based on changes in the educational paradigm from conventional to modern century education. However, not all educators are ready and able to keep up with the times, so students need to move to achieve real educational goals. The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding and comfort of students' learning when using the "Ruangguru" learning application, especially in class IV the material for animal and plant locomotion. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the aim of describing students' understanding and learning comfort in more detail and depth. The subjects of this study were twelve fourth grade students in two elementary schools in Kediri Regency. The results showed that students felt comfortable and their understanding increased when using the "Ruangguru" learning application in learning the material. The convenience of learning is shown by not being disturbed by students with other online activities and the use of animations that help visualize the picture of the material. Meanwhile, students' understanding is shown by the written test results that are in line with expectations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the level of professional ability of elementary school teachers, especially in pedagogic, interpersonal, communication and information technology competencies in the province of D.I. Yogyakarta. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The subjects of this research are elementary school teachers in Yogyakarta. The number of teachers who became the subject was 16 teachers from the primary school level, both public and private, in the province of Yogyakarta. The collection of research data was obtained through a closed questionnaire with a Google Form Linkert scale. The results of the study indicate that the average percentage of the overall professional competence of teachers in the realm of interpersonal, communication, information technology and pedagogy competencies, the overall average is 95% appropriate and valid. Based on this, it can be concluded that the competencies possessed by new and old teachers are in accordance with professional competency standards that have been established through indicators set by researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence parents' education level on independence in doing homework for fourth graders at the Wonosari State Elementary School Temanggung (SD N WONOSARI) in the 2021/2022 school year. This quantitative research use data collection methods in the form of questionnaires and also several surveys of parents of fourth grade students of Wonosari State Elementary School. Questionnaires are used to find out how much independence students have in doing homework. Before being implemented, the instrument had passed the validity stage using the Pearson Product Moment and the reliability test using the Cronbach Alpha formula. while the survey was conducted to find out and also as a means of collecting data on the level of education of parents of students and the analysis in this study was using simple linear regression analysis and for data collection using population research. The results of this study after going through the normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, hypothesis testing and also the regression coefficient test obtained a simple regression equation as follows: Y = 13,048 + 8,737. X which shows that if the education of parents increases by 1 point, the level of independence will increase by 8.737. There is an influence of the level of parental education on the independence of doing students' homework and the value of R Square = 0.880 results in the calculation reaching a level of 88% of the total number of fourth grade elementary school students. Wonosari country, thas can be proven that there is a significant influence on the level of parental education on the independence of doing homework for fourth graders at Wonosari Elemtary School

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually (SAVI) learning model assisted by the ask puzzle on students’ critical thinking skills. The type of research used is quantitative research using experimental methods in the form of non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study was the fourth grade students of SD Isriati Moenadi, with a sample of grade IV A students as the experimental class and class IV B students as the control class. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed by normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and regression test. The results showed : 1) There were differences from the use of the SAVI learning model assisted by ask puzzle on students’ critical thinking skills, as evidenced by the results of the independent sample t-test which showed that the average of the experimental class was hinger than the control class, namely 77,8 > 73,8 and with a significance value of 0,012 < 0,05. 2) There is an influence from the use of the SAVI learning model assisted by the ask puzzle on students’ critical thinking skills, as evidenced by the results of the regression test showing a significance of 0,00 < 0,05 which means that X has an effect on Y and the value of R square or R2 = 0,799 = 79% (X affects Y by 79%). So it can be concluded that the SAVI learning model assisted by the media ask puzzle has an effect on the critical thinking skills of fourth grade student at SD Isriati Moenadi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the literacy ability profile of high school elementary school students in Malumbi, East Sumba Regency. This literacy ability was carried out in one of the 5th grade students' schools in the high class area as a reference point used to analyze comparisons before finally moving on to a larger stage of research scope. This type of research is qualitative with the instrument used in collecting the data is the literacy test, namely the test uses EGRA (Early Grade Reading Assessment) measurements, interviews and observations. The results of the research on the school's numeracy skills which were collected through a literacy test found that elementary school students were in the very low category with an average score of 42.67. This is caused by several factors such as the lack of textbooks which so far have only been provided while at school, difficulties in teacher delivery because students are more familiar with using their mother tongue, there are no modules that are easy to understand in the context of local wisdom which supports students to be able to study at home, and students are not used to reading story problems and then draw conclusions from the story, so that reading literacy skills in this test recognize the sound of letters, read words, read meaningless words, fluency in oral reading in context, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, dictation.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing efforts to improve students' learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning model in Mathematics class 3B at MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka. This research is a class action research based on the theory of Kemmis and Taggar. The subjects in this study were class 3B MI Darul Hikmah Bantarsoka Purwokerto students totaling 28 students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, documentation and learning outcomes tests. The research data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive techniques to analyze the observation results and quantitative descriptive to analyze the test results. The results of the study show that learning the Project Based Learning model can improve the ability of student learning outcomes in mathematics learning. This can be seen from the actions of Cycle I students who achieved an average score in Cycle I of 38.07 and in Cycle II of 73.2. Meanwhile, the number of students who reached KKM in the first cycle was 18.5% and cycle II was 66.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Adobe Flash learning media product based on CAI in Natural Sciences (IPA) subject matter of sound reflection. Science learning media available at this time are less interactive, less able to attract the attention of students so it is necessary to develop learning media because learning media has a very important role in the learning process, especially to attract attention and increase student interest and can assist teachers in conveying material to students to make it easier to understand. These problems can be overcome by developing CAI-based Adobe Flash learning media. The method used in this study is the ADDIE development method with five stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection technique used is by interviewing and validating the material experts and media experts. The results of the validation show that the score obtained from the material expert is 86%, while the media expert gives a score of 97.5% so that this media is included in the criteria of being suitable for use without revision to support science learning in elementary schools on sound reflection material. The response of teachers and students to the Adobe Flash learning media is very good and positive, which means that this media is able to help students to better understand sound reflection material.
