Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi alternatif berasal dari bahan-bahan yang tersedia dan belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Energi alternatif merupakan energi yang ramah lingkungan yang dapat diperbaharui melalui pemanfaatan limbah organik seperti sayuran dan buah-buahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan elektroda terhadap kelistrikan buah tomat dan jeruk sebagai solusi energi alternatif ramah lingkungan. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan dua buah elektroda (Cu-Fe dan Cu-Mg) untuk mengukur arus dan tegangan pada buah seperti jeruk nipis dan tomat. Rangkaian alat yang digunakan sama seperti rangkaian sel galvani dengan menggunakan lampu LED dan multimeter untuk mengukur kuat arus dan tegangan. Hasil Penelitian yang diperoleh adalah elektroda Cu-Fe menghasilkan kuat arus dan tegangan lebih kecil dibandingkan penggunaan elektroda Cu-Mg pada percobaan kelistrikan pada buah tomat dan jeruk nipis. Nyala lampu dengan menggunakan elektroda Cu-Mg lebih terang dibandingkan penggunaan elektroda Cu-Fe.

Abstract

Tiap tahun di musim penghujan daerah yang selalu banjir disebabkan karena intensitas curah hujan yang cukup tinggi sehingga air sungai atau aliran air dipermukaan meluap menggenangi daratan, khususnya masyarakat yang tinggal di sekitar Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prinsip kerja dan penerapan alat pendeteksi banjir sederhana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, dengan menggunakan konsep Hukum Archimedes. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui prinsip kerja alat pendeteksi banjir didapati bahwa ketika air naik, gabus mampu mengangkat tembaga penusuk hingga menyentuh resistor karena adanya gaya apung/gaya Archimedes yang bekerja, besarnya gaya apung adalah -0,49 N. Alarm akan berbunyi dan lampu akan menyala saat tembaga menyentuh resistor yang berfungsi sebagai saklar, sehingga banjir yang akan terjadi dapat segera kita ketahui. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, khususnya yang tinggal di daerah rawan banjir untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya banjir. Jarak atau tinggi saluran mempunyai tiga tingkatan batas awas (kondisi siaga, waspada, dan bahaya) yaitu 14 cm pada saat air naik tingkat pertama (kondisi siaga) dengan kecepatan 0,28 cm/detik alarm akan berbunyi dengan suara rendah dan lampu akan menyala sebagai peringatan untuk siap-siap, ketika air naik pada tingkat kedua (kondisi waspada) yaitu 18 cm dengan kecepatan 0,276 cm/detik bunyi alarm akan lebih keras dan lampu menyala, dan pada tingkat terakhir (kondisi bahaya) yaitu 22 cm dengan kecepatan 0,275 cm/detik alarm akan berbunyi sangat keras sebagai peringatan terakhir bahwa banjir sudah melewati batas awas dan lampu menyala. Abstract

This research aims to increase the motivation of learning students and to find out how much improved the concept of understanding on the development of a water rocket independent lab module in newton’s legal material at SMA Negeri 4 Langsa. The study uses two stage method, the first phase using a R&D method with the 4-D development model and the second stage is an experimental research method with form one group pretest-postest design. The population on the study is class X MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Langsaconsisting of classes with samples taken in a random class X MIPA 1. The results of the study were a high motivation for the students after learning to use a water rocket independent lab module as much 85 % and there is an increase in understanding the conceptof development of a water rocket independent lab module on newton’s legal material III at SMA Negeri 4 Langsa. The sugestion for this research needs to be improved from this research to be improvet from the module readability level in support of students understanding of the material and students need more guidance from the teacher during the learning process. Abstract

Curriculum change is done not without a clear reason, because the curriculum is structured in order to meet the growing demands in society. With changes in community life that continues to evolve, the curriculum used must be adjusted so that education can keep pace with the changing times and the development of science and technology. Assessment standards that have been imposed by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research population was all 79 junior high school teachers in Langsa, a sample of the data source was carried out in a porposive manner, in this study the sample taken only involved natural science teachers, amounting to 8 teachers. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of each aspect are 1) The principles of valuation are (90%), 2) The form of valuation is (100%), 3) The evaluation mechanism is (93%), 4).The evaluation procedure is (86%). Based on the results of all aspects of teacher readiness in carrying out the assessment process of the revised 2013 curriculum is (92.25%). Abstract

This study aims to determine the miniature of the conversion of motion energy can be used as a medium for contextual physics learning. This type of research is development research using the R & D (Research and Development) method which adopts the development of Gravermaijer and Cobb. The population in this study were all class X in SMA Negeri 4 Langsa and the sample in this study was class X MIPA 1 with a total of 22 students. The results of this study are miniatures of the conversion of motion energy into electrical energy. The value of media validation gained 99% and material validation was 82.5%. Based on the validation values, the developed media is declared suitable for use as a contextual physics learning media for energy conversion material. The results of student responses also showed that learning physics using miniature energy conversion was "very interesting" for students with an average response rate of 85.4%. Suggestions in this research are Miniature energy conversion which is developed is the conversion of motion energy into electricity. for further development it is recommended to be able to develop other types of energy conversion. Abstract

In physics learning the teacher usually explains with the lecture method without explaining and linking it to daily life and that makes students misconceptions and misconceptions that cause misconceptions. Physics learning in high school is currently experiencing a lot of problems because students find it difficult to understand physics lessons or material delivered by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine students' misconceptions of Newton's Law material in class X IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. The research method used descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted with a population of research is class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi, Samples were taken randomly (random sampling) and selected class X IPA 2 as many as 30 students as research classes. The results showed that there was a misconception in Newton's Law material in class X IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Berastagi. Misconceptions on Newton's Law material are divided into 3 criteria: high, medium and low. Based on the data analysis the average percentage of students' misconceptions in Newton's Law material is high criteria as much as 89.3%. The average percentage of students' misconceptions on Newton's Law material is 50%. The average percentage of students' misconceptions on Newton's Law criteria is as low as 28.6%. It is recommended for further researchers not only to examine the existence of misconceptions in students but also to examine the causes of misconceptions that arise, types of misconceptions, and also how to overcome misconceptions. To minimize misconceptions the teacher should change the method, a clearer learning model so that students understand more and not be mistaken in understanding concepts. Abstract

Studying physics at school tends to be directed at the ability to memorize legal sounds and remember only formulas. While the process of learning through direct experience and discovery is often overlooked, so students do not understand the concept of physics/ misconceptions occur and are not able to apply in real life. By using experimental method can reduce misconceptions in students who directly involve in practicum. The purpose of this study was to look at the effect of the experimental method on reducing the misconceptions of students of class ten science two of Senior High School 3 Langsa. The method used in this research methods. The population in this study were 204 students of class ten natural sciences consisting of 6 classes. While the sample is as many as 70 students from two classes, namely class ten natural 2 as an experimental class totaling 32 students and class ten natural 1 as a control class of 33 students. Based on the results of the study showed t count = 8,70 with t table = 1,145. The magnitude of the effect of the experimental method to reduce students misconception on Newton’s Law concept in class ten natural 2 of Senior High School Negeri 3 Langsa on average by 44%. So it can be concluded that there influence of the experimental method to reduce misconceptions on the Newton Law concept in class ten Senior High School Negeri 3 Langsa. Abstract

Electrolyte solution is a solution that can conduct electricity and NaCl solution is an example of a strong electrolyte solution. NaCl is a chemical compound of salt. On the market can be found many types of salt. In this research, the ratio of current and voltage of electrolyte solution obtained from various types of salt was obtained. This research was conducted by an experimental method using a simple electrical circuit. The purpose of this study is to find out how much current and voltage are produced in each salt, To find out if a salt water solution can turn on the lights. The results showed that the electric current which has the highest value is that of sea salt with the respective water volume 240 mL in 20, 40, 60, gr salt, wherein the current is obtained for 20 gr of current obtained 0.81 A, for 40 gr of current obtained 1.09 A, for 60grn of current obtained 1.16 A and the resulting voltage is the same as 001 volts where the higher the water content salt the salt water voltage is also higher. Then the electric current which has the lowest value is the dalfino salt and elephant salt with their respective volumes of water 240 mL of dalfino salt in 20 gr, 40 gr, 60 gr. For 20 grams of Dalfino and elephant salt a current of 0.33 A is obtained, for 40 grams obtained 0.44 A, for 60 grams obtained 0.65 A, and in the current elephant salt obtained in 20 gr, 40 gr, 60 gr, that is, for 20 grains a current of 0.24 A is obtained, for 40 grams a current of 0.52 A is obtained, for 60 grams a current is obtained currents 0.72 A. So, sea salt can produce high currents because sea salt contains sodium chloride, contains various minerals such as potassium, iron and zinc.

Abstract

Social media tools have become ubiquitous. We can see everyone use them all the time. The advancement of modern technologies tries its best to accommodate the needs from people, especially the younger generation or we can call it with The X Generation. This study deals with The Role of Social Media in the Physics Learning process in the Age of Industrial Revolution 4.0. The study was conducted using a literature review method. The results show that one social media that is Youtube influential in the development of physics learning in the era of the Revolution 4.0 industry. The top four reasons for using social media tools are for social engagement, direct communication, speed of feedback, and relationship building. Based on it, the author suggested some educational implications of some of those tools as a valuable resource for teaching and learning. Kata kunci: Sosial Media, Revolusi Industri 4.0, Generasi X
