Abstract

nternet (Interconnection Networking) merupakan media penghubung yang dapat menjembatani komunikasi akses antara node/simpul dengan node/simpul yang lainnya dalam suatu komunitas jaringan yang saling terhubung satu sama lainnya di dunia ini. Kemampuan untuk saling terkoneksi serta terintegrasi dalam satu jaringan On-Line menjadikan internet sebagai wadah penampung aspirasi para user pemerhati IT dimana dengan keberadaan internet dunia seakan-akan terasa dekat dan tidak ada batas antara benua dan benua di planet bumi ini. Agar dapat terkoneksi secara On-Line pada internet maka dibutuhkan beberapa strategi diantaranya dengan pemanfaatan bluetooth yang terdapat pada ponsel dengan menggunakan jasa penyedia layanan telekomunikasi seperti; Telkomsel, Indosat, 3 dan provider lainnya. Bluetooth yang ada pada ponsel akan berfungsi sebagai bluetoth modem kemudian akan terhubung dengan bluetooth yang terdapat pada Komputer (PC), Note book, sehingga nantinya akan bisa dijadikan sebagai fasilitas untuk melakukan proses koneksi atau Dial-Up Networking.Key words: bluetooth, connection, internet, computer

Abstract

Research has been conducted to analyze the conten of the heavy metal content of lead (Pb) in red pepper (Capsicum Annuum L) circulating in Batusangkar market. Samples of five red peppers  were  taken from different places in Batusangkar market. The sample was dissolved by using a mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid. Furthermore, lead was measured by using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (SSA) at a wavelength of 283.3 nm. The results of the analysis showed that  the lowest lead level of 0.2386 mg / kg and the highest lead level of 0.73642 mg / kg. From  the five samples, it was found that there was one sample whose lead level exceeded the maximum limit set by National Standardization Council of 2009 about maximum limit of heavy metal contamination in food that is 0,5 mg / kg for lead, whereas for 4 other sample the value of lead level is less from 0.5 mg / kg. In addition, from the five samples, one sample did not meet the safe criteria and the other four samples meet the criteria.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition in which a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal resulting in increased morbidity and mortality / mortality. Star fruit and dragon fruit can also be used to overcome hypertension. Fruit starfruit and dragon fruit has a lot of antioxidant substances such as vitamin C, Flavonoid and niacin and magnesium that can flex or relax the arterial blood vessels. In addition, star fruit and dragon fruit also have diuretic calcium contents atua peluruh urine so increase the intake of minerals that play a role in lowering high blood pressure. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of juice of star fruit (Averrhoa Carambola) and dragon fruit (hylocereus undatus) to blood pressure in hypertension patient in Internal Room of RSUD Padang Panjang Year 2017.The study was conducted for 6 days with 1 day feeding. The research design used Quasi-Ekperiment using One group pre-post test design on 15 respondents with hypertension. The statistical test obtained p value of systolic blood pressure = 0.000 and p value of diastolic blood pressure = 0.001 then ha accepted, meaning there is influence of star fruit juice and dragon fruit to blood pressure patient room internal hospital RSUD Padang Panjang.Based on the results of this study, researchers suggested that starfruit and dragon juice can be used as an independent intervention, especially for people with hypertension.

Abstract

Price, consumption, and production influence global food estimation. Food consumption and food production needs improving affordability, government policy and expert proposition in decision making. Expert have developed a scenario  combining direct weather impact on key grain producing regions, indirect impact through crop pathogens, consequences for markets, and stock of global food. Global food production tended to increase, meanwhile consumption under production. In Indonesia, production is under consumption. It is anomaly by global situation and world condition. Government policy is tariff, export, and import. Export food influenced by price food commodity is not stable, meanwhile food import tended to increase because by national food consumption increasing demand. Government policy and expert proposition to modern society, need Expert System is increasing rapidly. In Artificial Intelligence, Expert System is a computer system that emulates the decision making ability of a human expert. There are two reasoning strategies in Expert System: Forward Chaining and Backward Chaining. The aim of this paper is to identify which reasoning strategy system (Forward Chaining). This paper focus on the concept of knowledge representation in Artificial Intelligence and implementing of Forward Chaining on Food Affordability. Food Affordability used to planning of food in the future. Finally, Inference using Forward Chaining on Food Affordability, the result it is good and can be used to planning and policy on national food.

Abstract

A baseline river flow estimation has been conducted in the area of Duncok and Ngrejok Wetan Gunung Kidul, using VLF-EM and VLF-EM-VGRAD methods to find out VLF response of tilt angle mode. Interpretation is done from VLF and VLF-EM-VGRAD data of tilt angle and ellipticity to estimate underground stream that is interpreted qualitatively and quantitatively. Measurements were made on July 22-26, 2014. The data were processed by using uses MATLAB R2014a computational language. This qualitative interpretation is done by processing data filtered by Moving Average through Karous-Hajelt filter and Fraser filter so as to show the anomaly of underground conductive object. Of the two methods used, the most effective method is with VLF EM, it can be seen from the result of the Karous Hjelt filter shows the contrast resistivity in VLF EM compared to VLF-EM-Vgrad

Abstract

Long term period of using fertilizers is not beneficial for soil fertility due to decreasing soil organic matter content. Otherwise, the source of organic matter widely available as waste in the environment are not used optimally because the naturally decomposition quite long time. This problem can be overcome by utilizing various types of microbes, such as Trichoderma. This research conducted to determine the effect of organic fertilizer from the decomposition result of T. harzianum in enhancing growth of spinach plant. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were doses variation of decomposition of organic material; 0 g, 15 g, 30 g, 45 g, 60 g and 75 g. Data were analyzed with ANOVA and continued with Duncan New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT). The results showed that the application doses  of organic fertilizer from decomposition result influences height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight and dry weight of spinach plants. Optimal dose for all growth is 45 grams/polybag.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many foods that contain harmful substances in the community. Among them are fried foods that contain plastic. Similar cases were also found in the campus area in city of Padang. Based on preliminary observations it was found that some fried foods sold in one campus area in the city of Padang were indicated to contain plastic. This study therefore aims to determine whether fried foods sold in the city of Padang contained plastic, what the physical characteristics of fried foods that contain plastic were, and what plastic content contained in the cooking oil. This type of research was descriptive qualitative. Sampling in this study was conducted by purposive sampling in 16 locations around the campus area in the city of Padang. The data of the research data were obtained from physical and chemical sample identifications. Physical identification included data on shape, color, fragility, and fuel test. Physically indicated samples containing plastic then analyzed chemically with GC-MS. The results of the study showed that the physical characteristics of fried foods that contain plastic were black clots when observed with a microscope, there are white patches on the surface of the fried, brittle for hours, and if it was burned, it burnt and produced melt. The results of the chemical analysis showed that from 16 sampling points 11 samples (68.75%) positive contained plastic. The type of plastic compound found was from PVC (Polyvinyl chloride).

Abstract

Teaching materials have been prepared using the concept of Ethnomatematics Sunda who believe that mathematics is a product of a culture. Supremum and Infrimum is part of mathematics that we can serve to connect the values of philosophy of Sundanese culture as a giver of value in understanding the concept of real analysis. Learning will be more memorable for studying mathematics at once understand the cultural aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to provide general information about the survival and fecundity of Aedes aegypti in suboptimal habitats based on relevant research articles collected from 26 journal sources. A combination of three to five keywords was used to obtain the data. This journal is obtained from four electronic data bases, namely PubMed, Medline, Scopus and Google Schoolar, which were collected during 2017. The data were obtained by identifying, screening, matching the criteria that were intended (eligibility) and reviewing those articles. There were 83 journals identified and 56 journals reviewed. In addition, there were two local journals and 52 international ones. Journal review results show that larvae are able to live and complete their development into adulthood in suboptimal habitats. Stagnant sewer water that is clear and septic tanks are suboptimal larval habitats. Phosphorus is a major limiting factor in the presence of larvae in suboptimal habitats. Thus, manipulating the phosphorus content in ditches and septic tanks is one of the vector control strategies.

Abstract

Along with progress in improving communication and information, more people who gather as much information as possible through various media had. But not everyone is able to manage information to good use at the appropriate time efficiently and effectively. Because it has a lot of information alone is not sufficient if it can not manage to become the best alternative using the simulation system model of scheduling customers in a bank queue. With the design of simulation models the scheduling queue is expected to provide customers get into the parties will try to develop a simulation, so it can be seen every error that occurs during the development of models and simulations. The design of this system using excel simulation tests, with the implementation of systems using Microsoft Access 2003 database system and program visual basic 6.0. From system design are made to dipe.
