Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of the audit committee, independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership and company size on the financial performance of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The population used is all food and beverage companies listed on the IDX in 2016-2020. The data collection technique in the research was carried out using the documentation method with the sampling method, namely the purposive sampling method, in order to produce samples in accordance with the research criteria. The research sample was 13 companies with 65 observations. The data analysis technique used by the researcher was multiple linear regression analysis. The data was processed using the IBM SPSS 25 program. The results showed that partially the audit committee had an insignificant positive effect on financial performance, the independent board of commissioners had a significant positive effect on financial performance, institutional ownership had an insignificant positive effect on financial performance and firm size had a significant positive effect. on financial performance. The results of the determination test show the adjusted R2 value of 0.276, meaning that the financial performance variable can be explained by the four independent variables of the audit committee, independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership and company size of 27.6%, while the remaining 72.4% in this study is explained by other factors. which is not included in the regression model.

Abstract

Service quality is a powerful weapon which is used by the marketers to differentiate their services from the competitors. In this context, this study investigates the difference between the banks in respect to the service quality dimension. SERVQUAL model has been selected to measure the service quality in Northern Province of Sri Lanka. Four main commercial banks were selected for the study. Three hundred and fifty questionnaires were issued for data collection based on Convenience sampling method. SPSS version 18 was used for data analysis. Discrepancy was found in customer perception of services in terms of tangibles and reliability dimensions between banks. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of Shopee's Viral Marketing in TikTok on consumers’ attitude at Shopee. The purpose of this study is to explain how informativeness, entertainment, irritation, credibility of Shopee's viral marketing video on TikTok and their influence consumers’ attitudes in the video. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive - causal purposes. Non-probability sampling has been used in this study with the type of purposive sampling. The number of respondents were 275 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS analysis using the SmartPLS 3.0. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis Informativeness, Entertainment, and Credibility, they are in the good category, while Irritation is in the not good category. The consumers’ attitude variable is in the good category. The results of the SEM-PLS analysis show that informativeness, entertainment, and credibility have a positive significant influence on consumer attitudes, while irritation has no significant influence on consumers’ attitude.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan yang terdapat pada struktur modal perusahaan sebelum dan selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Secara spesifik penelitian ini berfokus pada pada modal sendiri dan aset perusahaan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu Trade-Off dinamis dengan menggunakan dua macam pengukuran yaitu DER (Debt To Equity Ratio) dan DAR (Debt To Asset Ratio). Dengan menggunakan data dua tahun (mulai dari januari tahun 2019 sampai desember tahun 2020) dari 182 perusahaan, dengan menggunakan dua teknik analisis data, uji wilcoxon signed rank, hal ini dilakukan karena hasil pengujian normalitas data menunjukkan data tidak terdistribusi secara normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada struktur modal (DER maupun DAR) sebelum dan selama terjadinya pandemi COVID-19. Sehingga teori Trade-OFF dinamis tidak terbukti pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

The topic raised in this research is the emphasis on the relevance of Business Model Innovation (BMI). Based on this, the purpose of this study is to explore the management approach and Business Model Innovation (BMI) to foster SMEs in Kolaka Regency with an approach that connects management capabilities to Business Model Innovation (BMI). This is purposively from 89 SMEs in Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province by adopting the Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) method. The data analysis technique used in this study also uses the concept of Structural Equatin Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) program using a configuration approach, the results show that management ability shows a significant influence on Business Model Innovation (BMI). The results of fsQCA strengthen these findings and refine SEM which provides good conditions for the development of Business Model Innovation (BMI).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of the variables Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Behavioral Control on the actualization of use in Batam city students. In this case, this study will investigate how the variables Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Behavioral Control can make users feel comfortable using an application, website or technology. The technique used by the author is a purposive sampling method, which is a sample used and selected through the knowledge of the researcher or according to the appropriate researcher to participate in this research. After the results of the respondents have been collected, the next author will test the data using PLS software. The results of the study explain that the variables Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Behavioral Control can create Intention to Use which affects users in using an application, website, or technology, so that an Actual to Use will be formed for users.

Abstract

Menghasilkan kualitas produk yang baik, merupakan faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam menghadapi persaingan di era globalisasi. Oleh sebab itu PT. Dunia Baru Gramindo harus dapat memanfaatkan pengetahuan yang ada dengan terus belajar sehingga dapat berinovasi dan beradaptasi dalam menghadapi segala perubahan dan tantangan. Knowledge Management System merupakan suatu pendekatan yang bertumpu pada pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan pengetahuan. Dalam hal ini langkah awal yang dilakukan yaitu mengidentifikasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada beserta rekomendasi penyelesaiannya kemudian pengetahuan-pengetahuan yang ada diidentifikasi melalui pendekatan proses bisnis dengan Work System Framework dan proses bisnis Hexagon dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yaitu facebook, email dan whatsapp sebagai sarana penyimpanan dan pengelolaan pengetahuan untuk mewujudkan organisasi pembelajar agar penerapan Knowledge Management System dapat terwujud. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah pengembangan model penerapan konsep knowledge management system di PT. Dunia Baru Gramindo dengan memanfaatkan teknologi yaitu facebook,email dan whatsapp diharapkan mampu memfasilitasi tumbuh kembangnya budaya saling berbagi pengetahuan (knowledge sharing) sehingga dapat menciptakan pengetahuan baru yang kompetitif,sarana penyampaian aspirasi dan penyimpanan dokumen elektronik dan pengelolaan pengetahuan, yang di harapkan dengan adanya pengembangan model konsep manajemen pengetahuan sistem dengan memanfaatkan facebook,email dan whatsapp sebagai teknologi pendukung ini dapat menjadikan PT. Dunia Baru Gramindo untuk selalu menghasilkan inovasi baru dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas produk.

Abstract

This study wants to know the role of human resources in the development of the coastal tourism sector in Blitar district using a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The data analysis of Miles and Huberman models is data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The validity of the data used triangulation, namely source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the role of human resources is very important. Human resources must have competence in good coastal tourism governance. The role of human resources as stakeholders is technical implementer in policy making and practice, determining competitiveness, providing facilities, managing income, maintaining conduciveness, developing human resources, empowering communities, and improving and advancing the coastal tourism sector.

Abstract

Researcher conducted this research to find out whether the halal label or halal certification affected the buying interest of Muslim communities in Batam. The independent variables in the research were Subjective Norm and Religiosity. The mediating variable in the research conducted was Attitude. Meanwhile, the dependent variable in this study was the Purchase Intention. The samples in this research were Muslim communities in the city of Batam who often consumed halal food. The data of this research were 389 samples. However, 123 data did not qualify, and 266 data could be proceeded by researcher. This research was conducted with a testing process using the Smart PLS application. After conducting this research, the result showed that Religiosity had a positive effect on Purchase Intention, Subjective Norm had a positive effect on Purchase Intention, Attitude had a positive effect as a mediating variable Subjective Norm and Purchase Intention, Attitude had a positive effect as a mediating variable Religiosity and Purchase Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Overconfidence Bias, Mental Accounting and Familiarity Bias on investment decision making (case studies of victims of illegal binary option investments) either simultaneously or partially. The research method used was descriptive and verification methods. The research population is all victims of illegal Binary Options investment in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was the Probability Sampling Technique with the Simple Random Sampling method. Calculation of the sample in this study using the slovin formula. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire distributed to all victims of illegal Binary Options investment in Indonesia, while the data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that Overconfidence Bias, Mental Accounting and Familiarity Bias simultaneously affect investment decision making. Overconfidence Bias, Mental Accounting and Familiarity Bias partially positive and significant effect on investment decision making.
