Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of risk profile, asset familiarity, investment objectives, investment awareness, and portfolio management on investment behavior. The method of collecting data using a questionnaire aimed at the people of Batam. A total of 100 questionnaires were collected and then processed using SPSS. The study continued with testing the validity and reliability. For testing the hypothesis the author uses multiple linear regression analysis. From this study it can be concluded that risk profile, asset familiarity, investment objectives, investment awareness, portfolio management have a significant positive effect on investment behavior. Overall the independent variable can explain the dependent variable by 51.8% while the rest is influenced by other variables outside the study.

Abstract

The main purposes of this study is to analyze the relationship of cost leadership, differentiation strategy, market orientation and organization performance. The research sample are souvenirs shop in Batam City. Multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis. The results of this study are information about cost leadership, differentiation strategies, market orientation towards company performance. The results showed that cost leadership, differentiation strategy, market orientation has significant efect on organization performance.

Abstract

This research is to detect the factors that impact the purchase intention of “Halal” food and drink product consumer in Batam City. The Independent variables are Subjective Norm, Religiousity, Product Quality, Attitude as intervening variable and the dependent variable is Purchase intention. This research exploit consumer that look forward to buy “Halal” food and drink product ABC, Nestle, NESCAFE, and other brands. The adopted data was 330. Purposive Sampling was used as sampling method in this research, conclude there was a positive significant effect between the Subjective Norm, Religiousity, Product Quality and Attitude on Purchase Intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether financial behavior, financial socialization agents, financial attitude, financial stress, and financial literacy can influence financial well being in millennial generation in Batam City. Financial well being is described when a person is able to prosper in the field of financial finance. Welfare is reflected in the ability to meet and manage all needs and desires. While millennial is the most current generation so that it can be a hope and reflection of a country. This research method begins with the distribution of questionnaires to the people of Batam city aged 15-19 years. Data were collected as many as 300 respondents then processed with multiple regression research models using SPSS. Variable financial literacy, financial attitude and financial socialization agents provide a significant positive relationship to financial well being. Meanwhile financial stress has a significant negative relationship with financial well being. Then for financial behavior variables show no significant relationship to financial well being.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of the work environment, leadership, compensation and work training variables on employee involvement variables in star hotels in Batam. This research was conducted using a survey method through a questionnaire to 380 respondents, namely employees of five-star hotels in Batam. After being distributed directly to respondents, the questionnaire was collected and managed to get 340 questionnaires filled out completely and then the authors tested the regression data using the SPSS program. From the results of data processing with SPSS it is known that there is a relationship in all variables studied. Based on the results of this study, the relationship between work environment variables, leadership, compensation and work training in employee attachment variables is known, so it is expected that star hotel management can pay attention to the variables studied earlier and manage employee attachments as one of the added values ​​and advantages of the hotel.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate marketing strategies that include product, price, place, promotion in increasing customers of murabahah financing products at KSPPS Baitut Tamwil Tazakka. The population used is all members of the Tazakka KSPPS in Pekalongan. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, one head of marketing, one head of KSPPS, and one marketing finance. Data collection techniques use interviews and data analysis techniques in three stages: reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this study indicate that the strategy implemented by KSPPS Baitut Tamwil Tazakka for murabahah financing is effective

Abstract

Customer loyalty is the core of business sustainability. In the disruptive era of digital business, it is important for the conventional retail business industry to focus on some determining factors that influence customer loyalty. This study finds that physical aspects and problem-solving are considered giving a significant contribution to building customer loyalty in the Retail Industry in Indonesia. The physical aspect that creates positive moods and security is expected by every potential customer especially in conventional business retail. The ability to solve the problem of the customers is building a positive relationship with the customers and could be the driver of positive mood and it strengthens future customer loyalty.

Abstract

Awareness of financial knowledge in this era, especially college students, is still scarce. College students are one part of society which increasing each year in numbers and would have strong impact on the economy of a country. College student is one levelbefore get into the working level, which means they have to be more able to depend on their own self in managing their own finances. This study’s purpose is to analyze factors which affect financial literacy of college students in Indonesia. The independent variables used are money management, financial behavior, influence, attitude, and investment. This study survey usedgoogle form which has 28 questions. The sample of this study is 350 college students taken randomly. The data tested by using SPSS program. This study results proved that all of the independent variables affect significantly positive on the financial literacy.

Abstract

The performance of high school teachers (SMA) is very important in education, several factors that influence emotional intelligence from the teacher itself. On this occasion the independent variable was emotional self-awareness, self-confidence, emotional self control, while the dependent variable was teacher performance. Research data retrieve using a questionnaire, to measure how much influence emotional intelligence has on teacher performance. Data is processed using the SPPS program. The results of the analysis show that two variables of emotional intelligence have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance while self-confidence has a positive and not significant effect on teacher performance. Furthermore, the adjusted R square is obtained at 65.0%, influenced by these three factors, 35% is the contribution of other variables not included in this study.
