Abstract

The aims of this research is to find out activities and learning outcomes of History major grade 3 of SMAN 4 Barabai. This research was classroom action research ( PTK )that used qualitative approach. The techniques for collecting data were observation to the students learning activities and teacher activities in teaching and learning. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes taken from the pretest and postest scores, and also questionnaires which are given to students after the lessons in order to get their responses. As the result, showed that the students’ learning activities  have been increasing in the first cycle with 84% and in the second cycle with 92%. The learning outcomes have been increasing in the first cycle with 83.3% and in the second cycle with 95.8%. The individual learning completeness has been increasing  which is seen from the average learning outcomes, and positive responses are shown by the students during  the lessons using make-a-match learning model.Key Word: Activity, Learning Outcome of History, Make-a-match model.

Abstract

Upaya pemerintah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, terutama di bidang kurikulum yang mempertahankan pengintegrasian pengetahuan umum (dalam hal ini mata pelajaran IPS) dengan nilai dan Norma agama (nilai-nilai sosial) sudah dikembangkan di dalam kurikulum Berbasis Kompetensi (KBK) dan kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP). Hal ini merupakan realisasi dari tujuan pendidikan nasional. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di MTs Negeri Mulawarman Banjarmasin, bahwa pengintegrasian nilai-nilai sosial Islam ke dalam pokok bahasan penyimpangan sosial pada mata pelajaran IPS belum dikembangkan dan dilaksanakan. Dikarenakan belum adanya desain pembelajaran terintegrasi dan belum adanya kemampuan guru untuk berinovasi dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bentuk perangkat pembelajaran intergasi nilai-nilai sosial Islam ke dalam pokok bahasan penyimpangan sosial pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu pendekatan yang berusaha mendapatkan data deskriptif, ucapan atau tulisan dan perilaku yang dapat diamati.Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah penelitian desain dari Sugiono, yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan informasi dan desain produk.Hasil penelitian ini menemukan sebuah model desain integrasi dalam pembelajaran IPS. Dari 2 kali uji coba desain integrasi dalam pembelajaran IPS, diketahui peserta didik yang tertarik 68,29% yang menyatakan baik dan cukup baik dengan persentasi 31,7%. Selain respon peserta didik menyatakan setuju sekali sebanyak 24,39% dengan jumlah siswa 10 orang, 53,66% menyatakan setuju dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang, dan 21,95% menyatakan ragu-ragu dengan jumlah siswa 9 orang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: How mastery of materials, the structure of scientific mastery, mastery of scientific concepts and mastery mindset social studies teacher at MTsN Barabai. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Where the data collected by observing, interview and documentation. The results showed that the Master IPS in MTsN Barabai Hulu Sungai Tengah has the ability in mastering the learning material, master the structure of science, master the concepts of science and master of science supporting mindset subjects diampunya.Keywords: professional competence of teachers, and social studies

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine how the implementation of the evaluation of social studies learning outcomes in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Siti Mariam Banjarmasin. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. In this research, data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. In the results of the study, the implementation of the evaluation of social studies learning outcomes in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Siti Mariam Banjarmasin has run quite well, but there are shortcomings that need to be addressed. The qualitative description research of the evaluation of social studies learning outcomes conducted in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Siti Mariam in grade IV, V, and VI of elementary school can improve the teacher’s ability in evaluation social studies learning outcome. Keywords: Evaluation, Learning Outcomes, Sosial Studies. AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan evaluasi hasil belajar IPS di Madrasyah Ibtidaiyah Siti Mariam Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian  ditemukan bahwa pelaksanaan evaluasi hasil belajar IPS di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Siti Mariam Banjarmasin telah berjalan dengan cukup baik, namun masih terdapat kekurangan yang perlu di benahi. Penelitian deskripsi kualitatif evaluasi hasil belajar IPS dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Siti Mariam pada kelas IV, V, dan VI SD dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan evaluasi hasil belajar IPS.Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Hasil Belajar, IPS

Abstract

This research moved from the problems of children in group B1 XIX-I TK Kartika Siliwangi Bandung. Based on interviews and observations beginning in mind that children may not treat the plants as it should, like a child throwing garbage into flower pots, children ruin flower plants, yet the growing awareness of children throwing trash in the space provided, as well as not fully maintain the cleanliness of oneself. The purpose of this study is to assist classroom teachers in addressing the issue through the implementation of strategies naturalist garden based learning. The method used is classroom action research using a qualitative approach to thematic analysis technique. Was conducted during three cycles of each of the two acts, and each act consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research results garden based learning implementation strategy in growing naturalist children show improvement. In the third cycle shown increasing children's knowledge about the types of plants, animals and natural objects in the environment around the school. Improved change children's attitudes to the environment around the school, children are no longer disturb the plants, keeping his own personal hygiene and the environment around the school.Keywords: garden based learning, child naturalist intelligence Penelitian ini beranjak dari permasalahan kecerdasan naturalis anak kelompok B1 TK Kartika XIX-I Siliwangi Kota Bandung. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi awal diketahui bahwa anak belum memperlakukan tanaman sebagaimana mestinya, seperti anak membuang sampah ke pot bunga, anak merusak tanaman bunga, belum tumbuhnya kesadaran anak membuang sampah pada tempat yang telah disediakan, serta belum sepenuhnya menjaga kebersihan diri sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membantu guru kelas dalam mengatasi permasalahan kecerdasan naturalis melalui penerapan strategi garden based learning. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik analisis tematik. Dilaksanakan selama tiga siklus masing-masing dua tindakan dan setiap tindakan terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Adapun hasil penelitian penerapan strategi garden based learning dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan naturalis anak menunjukkan peningkatan. Pada siklus ketiga terlihat peningkatan pengetahuan anak tentang jenis tanaman, hewan serta benda-benda alam dilingkungan sekitar sekolah. Peningkatan perubahan sikap anak terhadap lingkungan disekitar sekolah, anak tidak lagi menganggu tanaman, menjaga kebersihan diri sendiri dan lingkungan sekitar sekolah.Kata kunci: garden based learning, kecerdasan naturalis anak

Abstract

The low learning outcomes Social Studies sixth grade students of SDN 2 Marga Mulya Sungai LobanTanah Bumbu. Teachers tend to use the lecture method, less use of instructional media in teaching Social Studies. One alternative to overcome this problem is the use of Social Studies Learning Media. This study, researchers used a qualitative approach. Researchers sought to explore in order to get the data naturally or it is in the field through intensive observation and communication with the various data sources. Data collection techniques in this study, namely: (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) documentation, (4) combined. Based on the survey results revealed (1) Media Social Studies owned learning maps, Globe, learning CD, fruit atlases, books for students 2:1, Social Studies landscape posters Kits. Teachers utilize instructional media Social Studies owned schools adapted to the material made in the RPP and make LKS. In the early observations of teachers utilize instructional media lacking Social Studies maps and completeness of the material globe.pada map. Student learning outcomes are less satisfactory completed. Observation of both teachers utilize instructional media whiteboard, maps, globes, pictures, student involvement in the use of media in the material sample countries in the continent of Asia, Learning outcomes of the students final test average 100% mastery. From the results of student responses of strongly agreed students answered happy implemented by utilizing the Social Studies learning instruction media material easier to understand because it is done with real world example so that they can know the matery that is still abstract to concrete.Keywords: Learning Media Social Studies

Abstract

AbstractSMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin has superior skills to make Sasirangan Cloth which is a local culture of South Kalimantan. This study aims to describe the skills of making Sasirangan fabric in SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin. The research method used is qualitative research method with data collection technique through interview, observation, and document study. Sources of data obtained from interviews with sources namely Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers Council, Skill Development Teachers, and students of SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin. The data were also obtained from observation of Sasirangan fabrication process and document study. The results showed that the skill of making Sasirangan cloth at SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin is a skill education in the framework of self-development of students as the provision of independent living. Skills of making Sasirangan Cloth in SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin is relevant a learning social studies material.Keywords: Sasirangan, learning resources, social studies. AbstrakSMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin memiliki keterampilan unggulan membuat Kain Sasirangan yang merupakan budaya lokal Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keterampilan membuat kain Sasirangan di SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Sumber data yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan informan yaitu kepala sekolah, wakasek, dewan guru, guru bina keterampilan, dan siswa SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan membuat kain Sasirangan di SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin merupakan pendidikan keterampilan dalam rangka perkembangan diri siswa sebagai bekal hidup mandiri. Keterampilan membuat kain Sasirangan di SMP Terbuka 02 Kuin Utara Banjarmasin relevan sebagai sumber pembelajaran IPS.Kata Kunci: Sasirangan, sumber belajar, IPS

Abstract

This research aimed at (1) improving students achievement through the application of a learning cooperative model  of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type, (2) describing the use of a learning cooperative model  of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type, (3) increasing the motivation for students’ achievement in learning accounting in XI Sosial Science 2 SMA Negeri 2 Barabai years lesson 2013/2014. This research was designed and carried out by using Classroom Action Research (PTK). The result of the research shows that (1) learning achievements of Accounting subject from students of class XI Social Science 2 SMA Negeri 2 Barabai Academic Year 2013/2014 can be improved through Team Games Tournament (TGT) with learning exhaustiveness of 87.10%. (2) the liveliness of the students generally shows good result;and (3) The learning management result of the Teams Games Tournament in general can be assessed as good  Key Word:   Cooperative Learning  Model of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Type, Achievement Learning, Accounting.

Abstract

AbstractThe high Open Unemployment Rate for secondary education in South Kalimantan is 7.73%, indicating that the results of high school and vocational education have not met their goals. The method used is a cross-sectional method, with research data in 2018, which is converted in the form of present value. Data collection tools are questionnaires. The results showed that: (1) the average direct personal costs of high school students were greater than the vocational school students, namely Rp9,076,630.00 > Rp8,947,133.33 in Banjarmasin City, and Rp11,521,000.00 > Rp3,687,333.33 in Banjar Regency, on the contrary in Banjarbaru City the average direct personal costs of high school students were smaller than those of  vocational education students, namely Rp11,606,133.33 < Rp13,379,666.67; (2) indirect student personal costs are Rp35,958,000.00 per year; (3) the main income of senior high school and vocational high school graduates per year is Rp82,800,000.00 for the highest income, and the lowest is Rp26,640,000.00; (4) there is no difference in individual economic service fees between high school and vocational high school graduates, with a price of -tcount> -ttable or -0.208> -2.007, with p > 0.05.Keywords: student personal costs, employee income, individual economic benefits AbstrakTingkat Pengangguran Terbuka yang tinggi untuk pendidikan menengah di Kalimantan Selatan yaitu 7,73%, mengindikasikan bahwa hasil pendidikan SMA dan SMK belum memenuhi sasarannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode cross-sectional, dengan data penelitian tahun 2018, yang dikonversi dalam bentuk present value. Alat pengumpul data adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata biaya personal langsung siswa SMA lebih besar daripada siswa SMK, yaitu Rp9.076.630,00 > Rp8.947.133,33 di Kota Banjarmasin, dan Rp11.521.000,00 > Rp3.687.333,33 di Kabupaten Banjar, sebaliknya di Kota Banjarbaru rata-rata biaya personal langsung siswa SMA lebih kecil daripada siswa SMK, yaitu Rp11.606.133,33 < Rp13.379.666,67; (2) biaya personal tidak langsung siswa adalah Rp35.958.000,00 per tahun; (3) penghasilan utama karyawan tamatan SMA dan SMK per tahun adalah Rp82.800.000,00 untuk penghasilan tertinggi, dan terendah Rp26.640.000,00; (4) tidak ada perbedaan imbal jasa ekonomi perorangan antara karyawan tamatan SMA dan SMK, dengan harga -thitung > -ttabel atau -0,208 > -2,007, dengan p > 0,05.Kata Kunci: biaya personal siswa, penghasilan karyawan, imbal jasa ekonomi perorangan.

Abstract

The aim of  the research is to describe low score of the students is caused by the lack motivation of the students in studying PKn subject. There could be motivation factor is also influenced by the lack of teaching media and teaching method  used by teacher when she/he is teaching. So far the teaching method used by teacher is lecture method which has one way communication or  teacher centered where students are passive. This condition makes the students feel boring while they are studying.The aim of the research is to investigate the application of cooperative teaching and learning with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) toward the increase of motivation and learning outcome in  the PKn subject of the MTsN Batu Benawa students Grade IX A in 2014.This research applied action research method with observation method in group discussion. This research has two cycles, each of which contains one meeting.  Qualitative data  is analyzed descriptively; quantitative data is analyzed in percentage.The data analysis result shows that student motivation in studying PKn can be increased. Learning outcome can also be increased. Class mean score has increased in 17 points. In the first cycle, it is found that the student learning outcome is 64 for pre test and 81 for post test.  Class mean score in the second cycle can be increased to 25 point, from 65 to 90. It is a high improvement. Classical learning mastery also increases. It can be seen from post test result. Post test score in the first cycle is 72% and can be increased into 91% in the second cycle.Keywords: learning motivation, learning outcome, Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), teaching strategy
