Abstract

This research to reveal the contribution of teachers to the pedagogical rational thinking ability of students in the learning economy Pedagogical competence is basic pedagogical competence inherent in a teacher. This Competence is fundamental to the self-image of teachers as part of the natural community. Teachers are designers of children’s future. The study used survey method. This is to be expected as a result of the teaching profession through pedagogical competence. The fact that the economy has been less lead students toward developing the ability to think rationally in an economy such as life saving, saving, efficient, productive, prioritize needs, economical, and allocate limited resources to fullfil the needs. Most teachers prefer the ability to memorize material or concept learning, but for the life of the future filled with uncertainty, students need the skills to apply the concept of economic concepts into their daily lives in the community. This study used survey method to a senior high school of a Paser district of the east borneo. There are 546 students of class XI Social sciences from eight senior high schools in the population and take a random sample many as 231 students. Abstract

To support the enforceability of character education, schools should be conditioned as a major supporter of activities especially in SMP Negeri 9 Banjarbaru.  Character education can also be demonstrated in the behavior and attitudes of teachers in providing. Teachers are expected to be the role models for their students.  This study used a qualitative research method, which gives an idea of character education in teaching social science in SMP Negeri 9 Banjarbaru.  Data collection techniques in the study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results of the study character education in schools is also strongly associated with the management of the school, how the character education is adequately planned, implemented, and evaluated in the educational activities in schools.  Therefoe, the character education should be combaining by many values, such us: religious, honesty, tolerance, discipline, curiosity, achievement appreciation, environmental care, social care, and responsibility.Keywords: character education and social studies learning.

Abstract

Learning social studies teacher at the school applied generally not maximized, is evident from the results of tests and observations during classroom learning social studies in grades completeness is still lacking and student activity is still low. This condition should be corrected by learning strategies so that learning can be meaningful for students in dealing with life problems that it faces in the future. Lessons are suitable for this is problem-based learning strategies. This study uses a Class Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation of teachers and students in learning activities. Learning outcomes measured by the initial test and final test on each cycle and analyzed using Anates program. The results showed that the activity of teachers through problem-based learning to obtain a score of 85.71 in the first cycle and 95.23 in the second cycle. Student learning activities also increased there the first cycle (meeting of 1 and 2) reached 78% and 79%, while the second cycle (meeting of 1 and 2) reached 81% and 88%. The study of students in the first cycle reaches 72.50 with classical completeness 80%, while the second cycle reaches 80.00 with classical completeness 95%. Through problem-based learning beneficial for students to foster creativity and improve learning achievement.Keywords: results of social studies, problem-based learning.

Abstract

AbstractCurriculum changes KTSP 2006 to Curriculum 2013 raises new problems for the community, for schools and for teachers due to lack of socialization and readiness in the field, therefore this study aims to find out about the Implementation of Curriculum 2013 at State Junior High School 4 Banjarmasin, more specifically want to know how readiness schools in the socialization of the Curriculum 2013, the readiness of infrastructure facilities supporting the implementation of Curriculum 2013, and the readiness of teachers in implementing Curriculum 2013. Research methods that researcher used is Qualitative-Descriptive with Data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed data include three procedures: (1) reduction, (2) data presentation; (3) drawing conclusions and verification. The result of the research shows that: (1) The school has prepared the planning and organizing socialization of the implementation of Curriculum 2013 at State Junior High School 4 Banjarmasin through training activities of In House Training (IHT) and Subject Teacher Consultant; (2) The school has also prepared infrastructure supporting the implementation of Curriculum 2013, such as package books, learning media, computer, internet, LCD, etc .; (3) The teacher has implemented the 2013 Curriculum Learning with the Scientific Approach which is described in the observation result of Social Science study in class VII well. The conclusion of at State Junior High School 4 Banjarmasin study has been ready to implement the Curriculum 2013 with the fulfillment of the three indicators of the research results.Keywords: Implementation, Curriculum 2013, and Junior High School AbstrakPerubahan kurikulum KTSP 2006 menjadi Kurikulum 2013 memunculkan masalah baru baik bagi masyarakat, bagi sekolah maupun bagi guru karena kurangnya sosialisasi dan kesiapan di lapangan, karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan mencari tahu tentang Pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri 4 Banjarmasin, lebih rinci lagi ingin mengetahui bagaimana kesiapan sekolah dalam sosialisasi Kurikulum 2013, kesiapan sarana prasarana penunjang pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013, dan kesiapan guru dalam melaksanakan Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah Kualitatif-Deskriptif dengan Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya data dianalisis meliputi tiga prosedur yaitu: (1) reduksi, (2) penyajian data; (3) penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Sekolah sudah mempersiapkan perencanaan dan pengorganisasian sosialisasi pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri 4 Banjarmasin melalui kegiatan pelatihan Workshop/In House Training (IHT) dan Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP); (2) Sekolah juga sudah mempersiapkan sarana prasarana penunjang pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013, seperti buku paket, media pembelajaran, komputer, internet, LCD, dll; (3) Guru sudah melaksanakan Pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 dengan Pendekatan Saintifik yang terdeskripsikan dalam hasil observasi pembelajaran IPS di kelas VII dengan baik. Kesimpulan penelitian SMP Negeri 4 Banjarmasin telah siap melaksanakan Kurikulum 2013 dengan terpenuhinya ketiga indikator hasil penelitian tersebut.Kata Kunci : Pelaksanaan, Kurikulum 2013, SMP Negeri

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate: (1) The pedagogical competence of IPS certified teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin, (2) The factors affecting Social Studies certified teacher competence in SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that (1) There are still short comings of the pedagogic competence of certified social studies teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. Of the seven pedagogical components, there are three components that are not maximally applied, among others are understanding the characteristics of students, lacking of learning activities that utilizes the use of ICT, problems in assessmentandevaluation referring to the2013 Curriculum;(2) Factors affecting pedagogic competence of certified social studies teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin are: a) Input factor; b) Nurturing problem of the certified social studies teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin by the Municipal Education Authorities and the Principal, and c). Internal problems of teachers. In realizing competent and professional teachers, alls take holders must play a role and show responsibility in fostering sustainable teacher professionalism.Keywords: Pedagogic Competence, Social Studies Teacher, Educator’s CertificateTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) kompetensi pedagogik guru bersertifikat IPS di SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin, (2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Ilmu Sosial bersertifikat kompetensi guru di SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Masih kekurangan dari kompetensi pedagogik guru IPS bersertifikat di SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. Dari tujuh komponen pedagogis, ada tiga komponen yang tidak maksimal diterapkan, antara lain memahami karakteristik siswa, kurang dari kegiatan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan penggunaan ICT, masalah dalam penilaian dan evaluasi mengacu pada 2013 Kurikulum; (2) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kompetensi pedagogik guru IPS bersertifikat di SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin adalah: a) faktor input; b) Memelihara masalah guru studi bersertifikat sosial di SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin dengan Otoritas Pendidikan Kota dan Kepala Sekolah, dan c). masalah internal guru. Dalam mewujudkan guru yang kompeten dan profesional, semua pemangku kepentingan harus berperan dan menunjukkan tanggung jawab dalam membina profesionalisme guru berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Pedagogik Kompetensi, Ilmu Sosial Guru, Pendidik Sertifikat

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the professionalism of teachers SDN who certified in Banjarmasin. The research data were described consists of a group of pedagogical competence of teachers certified through portfolios, education and training, and passed for consideration age and years of service. The data analysis technique used is descriptive, by using descriptive statistics to describe the data of the study variables. The survey results revealed pedagogical competence of teachers certified through a portfolio categorized either as much as 84%, through education and training 78%, and due consideration of age and years of 72%. From the data the description of the research data revealed that the average score (mean) pedagogical competence of teachers certified through a portfolio of 150.26, 147.30 through education and training and pedagogical competence of teachers due consideration age and years of 144.56, which exceeded the mean The average (mean) ideal is 113. Based on these data pedagogical competence of teachers SDN District of West Banjarmasin classified as either category and has competence above average competence of teachers in general.Key words: professionalism and certified teachers

Abstract

AbstractThe life of the lanting shop merchant along the Nagara River can be seen from the life of the people who use the river to perform the activities of daily life. The development of the era has changed the mindset of people to have a modern life by making business.This study aims: (1). Analyzing Portrait of Life of WarungLanting Traders in Daha Subdistrict of HSS Regency. (2) Analyzing Social Interaction of Warung Lanting in Daha Sub-district, HSS District. This research uses qualitative method. The data source was chosen by purposive sampling. Data collection with observation techniques, interviews, documentation.Testing the validity of data researchers using data triangulation, ie triangulation of sources and time trianggulasi and use extension of observation.The result of this research is life of warung lanting can be seen from physical condition and function of shop of warung lanting include owner's name, building size, origin, business type, age of building, stall status, shape and duration of business in Daha Subdistrict which make lanting stall by forwarding river as place of business. The identity of the lanting stall owner is the owner's name, owner's age, education level, occupation, number of family members, other home ownership and buying and selling process. Economic relations of traders with merchants in keeping customers and buyers in stepping up efforts to give competition to businesses located on the mainland.Keywords: Portrait of life, warung lanting AbstrakKehidupan pedagang warung lanting di sepanjang Sungai Nagara dapat terlihat dari kehidupan masyarakat yang menggunakan sungai untuk melakukan aktivitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Perkembangan zaman sudah mengubah pola pemikiran masyarakat agar memiliki kehidupan yang modern dengan cara membuat usaha. Penelitian ini bertujua menganalisis  Kehidupan Pedagang Warung Lanting  di Kecamatan Daha Kabupaten HSS. (2) Menganalisis Interaksi Sosial Warung Lanting di Kecamatan Daha Kabupaten HSS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data dipilih secara purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan trianggulasi data, yaitu trianggulasi sumber dan trianggulasi waktu serta menggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian yaitu kehidupan warung lanting dapat dilihat darikeadaan fisik dan fungsi bagunan warung lanting meliputi nama pemilik, ukuran bangunan, asal mula, jenis usaha, umur bagunan, status warung, bentuk dan lama usaha di Kecamatan Daha yang membuat warung lanting dengan mendepankan sungai sebagai tempat usaha.Identitas penghuni warung lanting yaitu nama pemilik, usia pemilik, tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, jumlah anggota keluarga, kepemilikan rumah yang lain dan proses jual beli.Hubungan ekonomi pedagang dengan pedagang dalam menjaga pelanggan dan pembeli dalam meningkatkan usaha untuk memberikan persaingan terhadap usaha yang berada di daratan.Kata Kunci:  Potret kehidupan, warung lanting

Abstract

As one of the reasons this research is the initial observations of student learning outcomes in Geography subjects at XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Angkinang were low. Indeed, to make innovation in learning model teacher should improve learning outcomes of Geography. This study aims to improve student learning out comes by applying the Jigsaw learning model. This research is aclassroom action research consist of two cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. This research was conducted at SMAN1 Angkinang by subjects the students of grade XI IPS 1 the number of 21 students in the school year 2013/2014. The result shows that learning out comes at the first cycle is post-test average 80.57 and 85.71%  in classical completeness, the post-test average 91.3 and 100% classical completeness at the second cycle. Response of students in dicated a positive responset the use of jigsaw learning model. It can be seen from the student’s responses were expressed strongly agreed 33.33% -95.24%, agree 4.76% -52.38%, disagree 4.76% -23.80%, and thestrongly disagree 4.76% -14.28%. Based on the findings in this researchis recommended for teachers and other researchers to use the Jigsaw model in teaching and learning process.Keywords: Jigsaw model of learning, learning outcomes of Geography

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan kolaborasi dalam diskusi kelompok pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas IX.F di Kusan Hilir 1 Middle School.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Hasil motivasi belajar menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kelas pada siklus pertama adalah 68,75%, dan kemudian meningkat menjadi 84,38% pada siklus kedua. Untuk keberhasilan dalam hasil belajar atau kelengkapan klasik meningkat dari 59,37% pada siklus pertama, menjadi 84,38% pada siklus kedua. Sementara hasil kolaborasi dalam kelompok meningkat dari 56,26% pada siklus pertama, menjadi 81,25% pada siklus kedua.

Abstract

The method used in this classroom action research is qualitative analysis methods, which essentially emphasizes the depiction of business matters related to increasing the activity and learning outcomes of didik.secara depth. The research process started in March until May 2015, the number of samples of 32 people from class XI IPS 1 SMAN 11 Banjarmasin. The results showed that: (1) Activities Teacher for teaching and learning activities using problem-based learning model is considered good and aktif.2. The individual activities rated active power. Seen from the score of the acquisition activity of students in the learning process activity both the first cycle and the second cycle by 3.28 with active classification. 3. Activities group rated active power. The first cycle of activity lasted quite active, with the acquisition of the average score for the group Peta (2.8), Seinendan (3.4), Keibodan (3.2), Heiho (3.0) and Hokokai (3.2). The second cycle there is an increase in the activity of a group of 3 groups of fairly active, namely Map (3.4), Keibodan (3.6) and Heiho (3.6) and two active groups that Seinendan (4.0), Hokokai (4,0) , 4. An increase in student learning outcomes in which the thoroughness of 53.13 increased 40.62 points to 93.75. The increase also in terms of the number of students who complete the first cycle of 17 to 30 people in the second cycle, meaning there was an additional 13 people.Keywords: learning, learning activities, results learning, problem based learning model, history
